It didn't take too long for the Assassin and his lackeys had finally reached the woods surrounding the shack. He had stopped just before the clearing between the dense trees and the target. He didn't want to rush in there without a plan this time, especially because Adam no doubt would have some remark about it.

"Plan?" The Servant inquired as he looked over his shoulder to whoever was still with him.

"Ok here is the plan , Saber don't kill me for this. " Ranko then proceeded to launch a sidekick at Adams stomach , followed by a punch at the face. " sorry but you asked for it."

Archer could not believe Ranko just attacked a Allie and the person who helped her no less. "RANKO HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!" Archer was thinking about leaving then and there when Ranko walked up and whispered something in her ear..."oh " Was all that Archer said.

Adam was expecting to take a beating, but he had hoped to figure out a plan first though. Given that he knew next to nothing in hand-to-hand combat compared to Ranko, the kick landed firmly on his lower stomach and the punch landed a solid hit on his nose. "Holy shit!" he said loudly without shouting as he laid on the ground on his back as he held his nose. His hands muffled his voice a bit, but it was still audible even though it was different slightly from a clearly broken nose. "It's fine!" he said quickly to stop Saber's would-be assault on Ranko. "She's right, I told her to do it." His back was dirty from the fall now so the trickle of blood that was escaping his hands made it look like he had just lost a fist fight, which was kind of the case. It hurt like hell, but it was the surest way of distracting the enemy.

"Anyway," he said as he sat up. "I'm thinking that we should play into Logan's game a bit. He won't release Suki unless he's sure that he's got what he wants. If Ranko and Archer can help me fake a trade-off, it'll open Logan up for a few seconds. If assassin would do the honors of killing him before he kills me, I'd be much obliged." Honestly, he had half a mind to think that Assassin would wait until after he was dead before he killed Logan, but he'd have to trust the man behind the mask this time. Beyond that, he was open to suggestions from others even as his nose swelled up from the punch he had received from Ranko.

Now that the servant had heard Adam's plan he bolted out of view. It would be in everyone best interests if it looked like it was only Adam and that ginger. He didn't have much to do at the moment, his job was to kill whoever he could whenever he could and get his master back so for now he would have to wait on the others to take action.

Summoning a servant relying purely on luck was not exactly the most efficient plan, as the risks greatly outnumbered the potential reward. But then again, Ken Goddard's originally planned servant had already been summoned by Alina, so this was a necessary action. Nothing except personality mattered in a summoning like this, so it was possible to summon an incredibly weak servant or a fairly powerful one, though it would be next to impossible to summon a legendary one.

Still, even a decent servant would work. He did not plan to stay here if things went wrong, so as long as his new servant could at least hold off an assassin or a few magi, there would be no problems, at least for him. Logan, on the other hand, seemed much worse off without Berserker. If the situation turned out badly, Ken would not hesitate to leave Logan behind, as regretful as that would be.

For now, though, finishing the summoning was priority. Finishing the incantation, the usual white light spread throughout the upstairs room and quickly died down. What stood before Ken was a pitiful looking man probably physically weaker than Ken himself. He looked older than he probably was, and his back slouched as if he could not even support himself. He looked so pitiful, in fact, that Ken had to stare at him in disbelief for a moment before asking the obvious question.
“You're a servant?”

The man looked back at Ken, and with a timid, weak voice responded
“Servant Caster at your service, master.”
“This must be a joke.” Ken's irritable voice was clearly not impressed, but Caster did not seem to mind.
The servant smiled slyly at Ken, appearing as if he were hiding something.
“That is not a nice way to greet a god... But, I suppose, I can only claim perfection with the philosophers' stone.”
Reaching his hand inside his gritty coat, Caster pulled out what could only be described as a glowing gold stone. The philosophers' stone, while not literally a stone, took its form as one as a noble phantasm.

And just like that, the mans appearance changed. Aging gray hair turning to blonde, his pitiful physique turning into what could only be described as perfect; he appeared as a servant should and then some.
“I see, Nicholas Flamel. You really did create it."

Upstairs in the abandoned house, Logan sat poised with his rifle looking out of the window of the room where Suki was. He could feel the presence of more than one magi approaching. He recognized them both from the day before. One of them was the wanna-be hero girl from the school. The other was his brother. "Looks like they're coming to save you after all," he said to the woman across the room from him. His eyes became glassy for a moment as he thought seriously about his next course of action. He had seen a bit of the girl's magic the day before. Although it was self-destructive, it was also destructive enough to be dangerous. Adam, he knew, had mastered the family's elemental magic to a level that he couldn't stand against at his current level, and to top it off, the teacher's Assassin servant was probably with them along with their two servants. Five against one were odds that were too big, even for him. He only had one of his two machine pistols that were working and he only had a few shot for his rifle. There was only one other thing he could do that would advance him toward now impossible goal.

"Its unfortunate really," he said, this time in an almost normal voice that almost had a hint of remorse. "If someone had come to exchange my brother for you, I would've let you go and nobody would've had to hear from me again." He picked up his rifle from the window sill and turned toward the teacher across the room. "Unfortunately, that hasn't happened. I doubt I'm going to leave the premise alive. So, I'm going to give my dear brother one last going away gift." He placed the rifle down against the wall and drew his working G-18, aiming it at Suki. "Despair."

The seven shots rang out from the room and echoed around the forest. All seven bullets had hit their target and blood now covered the teacher's uniform and the wall behind her. Logan's expression didn't change as Suki collapsed to the floor and he looked down at her. He was still standing by the window, but the shots had been at point-blank range so he was sure they were fatal. "Pass on in peace," was the last thing he said to the dying woman. "And don't worry, you won't see me where you're going." As twisted as he was, it was part of his code to say a few words like this to each of his victims before they died and he had killed many people. He had no delusions about a good afterlife for himself.

After the life had drained from Suki's eyes, Logan dropped the machine pistol and went to pick up his rifle again and set up by the window again.

As soon as the shots rang out across the woods it was clear some one had been shot , She figured the guy from earlier was trying to cut his losses and killed someone although her senses was not the best and she could not tell from here who was killed but it put her on high alert. " Hey I don't thing this is such a good idea guys." Tell the truth she was kind of spooked and wondered why they did not sneak in instead of trying this , A frontal assault against a sniper was not on her to do list. She went and crouched behind a tree and motioned for the others to come too.

As she went to pick up Adam she heard seven loud bangs , It was nothing like she had heard from her time alive so long ago and it made her jump. "What was that?" She asked out loud... Just as she asked she seen Ranko motioning her to the trees.

(Written at Ranko's Request)
As Kira and Lancer approached the site that Celeste had pointed out on the map he heard the sound of gunfire.

"Sounds like we found something interesting. Eh, Lancer?" Kira said as he reached for the two Black Keys under his jacket to double check his preparedness. "Let's go check it out." He said to Lancer with a sadistic grin on his face, unnerving the Samurai general slightly.

"You lead I will follow, Kira-sama." Lancer stated before following his master towards the house in the woods....

(God damn it all, I guess I'll just go and finish Assassin being here off now.)

It only took a few moments for the Assassin to understand that his master had been killed. Anger and remorse swelled in his gut at this fact, Why had Suki been so stupid as to allow all of this to happen? Should she have listened to him she wouldn't be dead, in fact they both would probably he at her home by now. There was no point in Reminiscing on what should have been however. The Assassin needed to act now if he were to avenge his master.

The blackened figure grasped his dagger tightly as he looked into the window seeing the man who had ended his masters life. Killing an innocent wasn't something that Assassin took lightly, though it was rather hypocritical of him given his past. None of that mattered now however, the only thing that the servant could think about was killing this man, and quickly. His body bolted from the tree's and crashed through the window driving his dagger at the man holding the gun.

Logan didn't stand a chance against the Assassin's speed. He didn't see the servant coming and he wasn't nearly fast enough to get out of the way. The Assassin's dagger pierced him through the lower chest. Thanks to a lucky flinch upon seeing the flash that was Assassin, the dagger had missed his heart, but still punctured his lung. It hurt. It hurt a lot, but Logan didn't scream. He doubted that he could. He simply stared at the servant that was his killer. "Ugh... Congratulations," he said in a now faint and distant voice. "You've helped contribute to the world's endless cycle of revenge."

With that, he slid off the dagger and landed in a kneeling position on the floor, gasping for breath. His lungs were filling up with blood now and his vision was starting to fade. He maintained that position for a moment before slowly keeling over onto his back, the life draining from his eyes until he lay motionless on the floor, a lifeless corpse.

Adam had moved behind a tree for cover, but he suddenly stood up and stepped out into the open. Both of the mana signatures in the house were gone, both Suki's and Logan's. No, it can't be, he thought silently and a moment later, he was running. Not away from the house, but straight for the front door. There was an open window on the front side. He opened his magic circuits as he got closer and jumped. "Sora Shourai!" Instead of stopping after a few feet, his jump ended up carrying him all the way up into the second story window. His eyes widened as he beheld the scene before him. Assassin was standing over his brother's body and Suki was on the other side of the room, also on the floor. They were both dead. It all seemed a bit surreal to him. It didn't really feel like it had happened. He wasn't actually seeing this. He couldn't be. If Suki was now dead, then Assassin was right; it was because they hadn't moved fast enough. His hesitation had lead to the death of his ally. These thoughts raced through his head as he looked down at the two bodies. He didn't shed a tear, but his eyes were glassy now and almost seemed non-responsive.

Saber wasn't far behind her master. She entered the room and spotted the two dead bodies, her master, and Assassin. She didn't lose her composure though although she was obviously affected by Suki's death. The alliance between her and her master could've worked out if this whole thing hadn't happened. She stood back away from the two, but she kept half her attention on Assassin. He had blamed Adam for not moving sooner before and she wasn't about to let him kill him now because of what had happened.
