Clé Lámh Sleá!

Suki's eyes flew open at the incantation and she lifted her head before turning it in the direction of the noise. She hadn't even noticed that she had been just about unconscious again. Horrified at what she saw, a hand shot to cover her mouth and she caught her breath as she sat back and watched the Berserker fall to the floor, his entire chest torn apart. Once he had disappeared she took the time to stare up at his killer, who was none other than her own Servant. "Assassin." she whispered with relief, her expression lightening momentarily before they were interrupted.

By the time she had turned her head to the door Logan already had his pistol trained on her. She cringed, as if waiting for it to fire but no such thing happened. Apparently her Assassin hadn't pushed him too far... yet. Suki tried her best to remain calm but with her mind racing, her injuries practically killing her and a gun aimed at her head it wasn't as easy as she originally thought it would be. The hand at her mouth fell and she placed it against the bed to keep her upright, her breathing shallow and somewhat panicked. What did Assassin think he was doing? Even if he had killed the other Servant the threat was in no way over. Logan was still reasonably in control of the situation and when another magi arrived her hopes plummeted even further into the abyss.

Who was he and why was he working with Logan? Suki hadn't seen him at the school and yet here he was, helping out Adam's brother. For all she knew he could have a Servant of his own. Assassin could be in danger himself if that were the case... did he realize that? "Go back to Adam." she said suddenly, grimacing as the pounding in her head worsened. "Now, Assassin." Suki barely managed to hold her head up long enough to stare at her Servant but the look in her eyes was meant to assure him that she would be okay and that she was also serious about what she had said. If he did not leave at her words she wouldn't hesitate to use a command seal.

The blood stained dagger in the servants left hand slowly vanished as he watched the body of the Berserker fall lifeless to the floor. He was lucky that it had ended to quickly, and that there was apparently no other servants in the area to fight with now. It was a testimony his his ability as an Assassin to take out such a foe like that but it wasn't time to revel in his victory just yet. His master was clearly hurt and not capable of moving herself. If they wanted to get out of there than he'd have to carry her out of there.

As the Assassin's body moved closer to his master another being had bolted into the room, It was the same one that had dragged his master here. Rage swelled withing the servant as he watched him holding the weapon at Suki. He had the nerve persist even after his servant was killed? Was he an idiot or something? Most masters would run for their life now seeing as they had no means of defense, but Assassin hadn't thought his plan through. His master was in danger again and it was his fault for once.

The servant stood still as stone as he listened to whatever it was the boy said. It all seemed rather cocky for someone who had only a single strategy left to draw from. His own master was the only thing that was hindering him. If she was in fighting shape this wouldn't be a problem, Assassin could rush him and Suki would be able to put up some kind of defense against the attack. His plan all relied on his master being able to fend for herself, but that wasn't going to happen anytime soon was it?

The static call from his mask slipped out as he began to speak to Logan. "I hardly think you've in a good position for demands. Even if you kill my master I'll just kill you after that." It was true, even if it wasn't the best outcome. At the moment he was only holding back from killing the man because he had his gun pointed at his master. "I think It's best if I take her and g-..." His voice was cut off by the newly arrived mage going on about how he should just kill Suki now. Apparently no one here was very bright. "A reason?" He asked as he edged himself only slightly closer to the new arrival. "I shall go ahead and repeat myself, I just killed that Servant easily. If you kill my master then I will kill you both before I run out of mana.." Again it was be easy enough to kill them, the point of an Assassin after all was to kill masters. True he was lucky in the fact he had killed the Berserker, and if the Servant was only just a bit faster he would probably have killed him instead.

It would seem that he was in no mood to leave, until his master had spoken that is. She was telling him to go back to that peeping tom? Why? He wouldn't help at all if he was here. He was in a position to get himself and Suki out of there if those two valued their life at all. However, Suki wasn't able to help and Assassin would have to depend on himself now. As much as he hated it, if those two were to allow Suki to live and not be harmed it would seem that retreat was the best plan. Naturally he refused the very thought of it though, even if his master was ordering him to leave he wouldn't go just yet.

The servant's mood clearly changed from an aggressor to being much less threatening. "Should to promise that my Master would not be harmed, I will leave.." The static voice rang again as he backed off only slightly.

Logan grinned on the inside as he heard the woman give his servant the order to leave. It was obvious that he was an Assasin servant, but they still had the upper hand. Sure, he had killed Berserker, but if he was weak enough to be taken out by one attack, then he wasn't needed any longer. As he had said before, his goal wasn't to obtain the Holy Grail so he didn't really even need a servant except in order to fight against one. It was clear though that she had her head on straight at least and that she still valued her life. Typical of a magus. As the servant backed off, his grin showed on the outside and he listened to his request. "Of course, of course," he said in a sly tone. "Why would I want to kill off my own leverage? I have plans for this woman." He said this also to try to get the other master beside him to back off as well. It didn't matter the party, he couldn't have his bargaining piece get killed off before he made use of her.

His code of conduct would have made him offer a hand-shake under less hostile circumstances, but considering the situation, it wasn't the smartest thing to do. Instead, he simply kept his pistol trained on the woman and waited calmly for his servant to leave.

Why won't you listen to me? Since the time Suki had summoned her Assassin he had hardly ever actually listened to a thing she had told him. Sure, sometimes she didn't have the best plan or maybe she wasn't in the right frame of mind but when it counted - like now for instance - he still persisted to ignore her. She understood that he was worried for her and maybe that was clouding his judgment but an order was an order and Suki was sick of him undermining her say in things. It was so hard for her to bring herself to make her next move, but she couldn't see any other way around it. He had to get out of here and go back to Adam. If he truly wanted her to live than that was going to be the only way.

"Go back to Adam and work with him." she murmured, voice tinged with pain and a silent apology for doing this to her Servant. As soon as the command was given a seal disappeared from the back of her hand and she knew now that there was no going back on what she had said. Assassin would leave and find Adam and together they would work something out. It didn't matter if they didn't particularly like each other, both of them should have been mature enough to put their differences aside and focus on more important things. In the meantime Suki would have to persevere with Logan for as long as she could. She had no choice.

The assassin was visible frustrated with his master now. She wasn't doing much better than he was when it came to listening, had she only been smart enough to wait for him or even Adam before she charged head on into the enemy maybe she wouldn't be sitting here like this. She wasn't powerless of course, but she was slowly losing Assassin's respect when it came to her being his master. Being a Servant he would have to do as she commanded even if it was a foolish idea.

Without much more delay the Servant bolted out the window. The boy he was supposed to find wouldn't be much more help he figured. Adam did allow her to be taken away and he had hardly helped earlier today. Why was Suki going around and picking up these useless masters like this?

(Crap..)

Ken backed off slightly as the Assassin did the same, it seemed he had quite a bit of loyalty towards his master and really did not want to see her die. That was fortunate for them all, if he or Logan had to kill the teacher they would all be in a losing situation here. Of course, now that Berserker was gone he wondered how Logan would proceed with his plan.

Sighing as the Assassin swiftly jumped out the window, his facial expression was that of disappointment at the rather surprising turn of events. Even though Logan had never accepted his help, it was obvious that he needed it now. In fact, he was becoming a little too involved in this, much more than he initially wanted to be. "Well then, Logan, what are you going to do with her now? It isn't hard to imagine that her Assassin could come back at any time, and for your head next."

(Crappier, waiting for heero's 2 sentence post to make me feel better.)

"On the contrary, I believe she just helped relieve some of the pressure," replied Logan to the other magi's question. "You see, she gave him an order to work with someone, someone that I know very well, and someone that has never outsmarted me for as long as he's lived." It was true, before he had left the house, Adam had been inferior in just about everything. He only possessed superior mage craft because he inherited the magus seal instead of him, but he would fix that soon enough.

Berserker was gone though and that did trouble him though. For as much as he had thought of the brute as nothing but a tool, he recognized now that not having him was an issue. He knew all too well that he didn't stand a chance against a servant, especially an Assassin. There were still so many variables however that he could tip in his favor. He still had a home field advantage and he knew the area well enough. He could put up some traps if he had the time. Above all, it would be smart to stay close to the teacher. If required, he had no problem using her as a shield.

(Sorry to disapoint, Lurker. (WIN))

She, her, the woman, Adam's ally... all of the ridiculous names they were coming up for her were driving her insane. If there were any viable water sources in the room she would have gladly taught them a lesson or two but the only thing at her disposal was the moisture in the air and it could hardly take down the both of them. If she summoned a shower by the time she turned it to ice Logan could have pulled the trigger on her. She was unable to cause either of them any harm lest she wished to end up dead herself.

When Logan spoke of Adam in such a manner the woman couldn't hold back the scowl that formed on her lips. Despite the pain she was in and the difficulty she was having remaining conscious she managed to shoot both of them a dangerous glare, in case they had forgotten that she too was a competent and potentially deadly magi. "My name is Suki. Not her. Not she. Not the woman. It's Suki." she spat out, somehow dignified despite the obvious distaste in her voice. "And if either of you valued your lives you would be best to leave now, before the others arrive. Hostage or not, you will die if you remain behind."

Suki wasn't even sure herself whether she was trying to bluff them into leaving or whether she genuinely didn't want to see them die. Warning them of what to come had taken a visible toll on her and she could no longer hold her head up to stare at them, her head bowed instead and her eyes closed while she concentrated on her breathing. While she stayed still the pain wasn't as bad, so as long as she wasn't moved anytime soon her tolerance should improve over time as well too. She was completely exhausted but refused to sleep in the presence of these two men. No, instead she would be hold on until they came back for her.

Ken was not quite won over by Logan's statements, it still seemed like they were at a huge disadvantage without a servant. Their only card was now a hostage who was becoming increasingly resistant. However, he would not ditch just yet, as he still had his own servant to summon if things became increasingly troublesome. At the very least, for now they could plan out whatever it is they would do next, whether that be wait or make another move.

Listening to 'the woman' reminded Ken why he never particularly liked the concept of a hostage. Far too much trouble. More than that, Suki for one seemed to still have a lot of fight left in her even knowing that on a whim Ken or Logan could easily end her life. Brave, he could give her that, but it was almost a certainty her words were bluffs.
"Suki." His voice came out rather tedious, not quite annoyed but on the verge of it. Yes, he was annoyed that Suki took them, or at the very least him, as a person who at all cared about such pitiful threats. "If any of us valued our lives we would not be in this war."

Whatever it was any master wished for had to be something worth more than their own life. This was a fairly logical, and probably completely true theory.
"So, perhaps you should re-evaluate your situation again before speaking so boldly. I, for one, have nothing to gain having you alive."
Of course, killing Suki would not exactly be the best thing for them, so he stopped the patronizing with that. Right now Logan was the 'mastermind' behind this whole thing so all he needed to do was hear what the mastermind had in mind to do next.

"My friend here is right," said Logan in a slightly more aggressive voice even though he lowered his gun. He was a pretty quick draw so he didn't feel vulnerable if he didn't have the gun aimed directly at 'the woman'. "Even if you have recovered enough mentality from your little nap to cast a spell, I doubt it would be quicker than both of us. You would die and it would be all for nothing." His plan would still work. It had to. He was the one that deserved the family magus seal, and he would get it one way or another.
