Alexio and Fergus wander through the woods on the outskirts of shinichi city." this is the only place we probably can train..." Alexio and Fergus plan to train together to enhance their teamwork. Alexio packed some of that mana water. Alexio begins to spread his black land." ok Fergus.... lets see what you can do before we work on teamwork." Alexio sighs as 5 shadows raise. They begin. Fergus charges at Alexio, a shadow blocking his way." haa!" the shadow was cut down with ease." go!" 4 shadows swarm in from all directions, surrounding Fergus." nice try!" Fergus spin slashed all of them." too easy!" Fergus goes for Alexio's heart, but Alexio's shadow's block it without even making any." ?!" Fergus gasps. shadows from nowhere close in on Fergus. Fergus furiously tries to block off the shadows, but they don't stop coming, nor does Alexio's mana drain. " I didn't want to have to use this..." Fergus readies his sword." "CALADBOLG!" Fergus slashes the sword in a rainbow arc, two times, and the shadows stop coming. Alexio just claps." W-W-what was that!?" Fergus seems dumbfounded." what did you do that for boy?" Alexio smiles and replies" I wanted to see your true power, but i seriously didn't make those shadows, i was thinking of... but they came outta nowhere!" Alexio summons 30 shadows." lets go to the valley."It was daybreak.

Deep in the woods on the outskirts of the city, there stood an old wooden house that no one ever went there. It was common superstition that it was haunted by spirits.

It was to this cabin that the white van pulled up to and Logan got out. Unlocking the front door, he carried the teacher in and up the stairs. Putting her in an upstairs bedroom, he left her there. "Berserker, stay with her," he ordered as he closed and locked the door. "But do not attack." With that done, he headed back down to the front door and out to the other magus that had helped him out earlier. "Hey, you want a drink?" he asked. He had to think of a way to repay this favor. He hated owing things to people.

Pulling out a card from his jacket pocket, he tossed it to the man. "Consider this a one-time do anything favor card," he said. "Anytime you got a job, preferably a magus assassination, call me up. You helped me out so consider it payment." Deep down, Logan wasn't just some ordinary psycho serial killer or anything. He had a code of honor like his brother that wouldn't let a deed go unpaid.

Grabbing the card, Ken glanced at it quite surprised despite not being interested in what the magus had to offer. It was merely interesting, this person's moral code, that he was fine with kidnapping this woman but not fine with taking help for granted.
Smiling a bit, Ken walked over to the nearby couch, figuring he would stay for a moment. He had nothing else better to do besides pick off a few masters anyhow, and this magus didn't seem like a complete fool. Indeed, if anything, it would be beneficial to establish friendly relations with him.

"I doubt I will need such payment in the future, but I'll accept this. Rather, I'm interested in what you are planning from here. There will be quite a few masters coming for you now."

"So, you want to know my motives?" asked Logan as he also sat down in what was now the living room. "Although I have to say they're not really typical of a Master, its not to acquire the Grail. I have no interest in having a wish granted that I could easily grant myself." He then sat back and exhaled.

"I simply want to kill someone," he said plainly as he began to explain. "He's a master in this little game and he's apparently gathered quite a few of the other masters around him. Friends, he would call them. He's too naive to be the family successor if he thinks like that." He paused for a moment as he thought about how to elaborate.

"The bond he calls friendship though is easily severed in the Holy Grail War though. The fact that he has allies has made this whole thing a bit boring. It would be much better if they would fight amongst themselves." He then looked toward the stairs up to where his hostage still laid. "That's where that woman comes in. They all want to save her. I can use her to unite them all against him and sever the bonds called friendship. He will grovel at my feet while I obtain the family magus seal from him, and then I will kill him."

After being out cold for at least an hour or two, Suki finally regained consciousness and stirred on the bed. The teacher inhaled deeply before both of her eyes opened to stare up at the unfamiliar ceiling. Where was she? Had Adam taken her back to his place so that she could rest? Had Assassin taken her out of town so that she was out of danger? Her head was throbbing painfully and it certainly didn't help her collect her thoughts. So, she figured she'd get someone else to help her.

"Assassin?" she called weakly, waiting for a response. After a few moments nothing came and she frowned in confusion, moving to sit upright on the bed. "Ada-" the name was interrupted by a sharp gasp and her eyes widened substantially at the pain that coursed through her mid-section. Suki doubled over on the bed and tried to calm herself as things rushed back to her. She wasn't at Adam's house. Or her house. Or even at a safe house at all. This was...

"Logan." she half growled, half whimpered in realization. He had taken her. Assassin wasn't here and neither was Adam. Suki had been taken hostage and she was in no shape to walk let alone plot an escape. Her breathing was shallow as the pain in her stomach continually ebbed through her and she found herself wishing that she knew some sort of healing spell. Anything to make herself feel better. She dreaded the thought of the bruises that she would find underneath her clothes but that was the least of her worries. If she was still alive it had to mean that Logan had something planned for her.

As the magus finished, another smile crept up to Ken's lips. Despite neither of them introducing themselves, using even a small amount of deduction easily led Ken to understand who this magus and his brother was.
"Adam Wallace, huh?" His grin was simply an amused one. What this magi said, his plan, Ken himself would like to witness whether it would work or not. He had no grudges against Adam, however, this magi posed an interesting theory, and there was no reason to not allow it to come true.

Even better, the magi did not want the grail. Ken needed it to keep the Goddard bloodline alive. So then, there was no problem. This magi wanted to eliminate a major contender for the grail, and Ken wanted the grail itself.
"I'd like to see how this plan of yours turns out." Ken stated simply as he looked at the magi directly, "Do not get me wrong; I do not particularly want an ally in this war. However, your plan is interesting, and you are not in the way of my own goals. Yes, if anything, even if we did not collaborate we would be helping each other unconsciously."

Silently the Assassin darted along the trees still hunting after his masters would be kidnappers. He kept a good enough distance to stay away from their line of sight, and their ability to detect him, while still being able to know where they were heading. The scene was all rather cliche, an age's old wooden hut in the middle of the woods and all. Unfortunately for them it was all rather advantageous to the Assassin, being out in these dense woods and all.

Once the van came to a stop and the man stepped out with his master in his arms, unconscious mind you, the Servant held himself back from attacking the lot right then. If he rushed them right then he stood little chance of actually getting his master and himself out alive. She wasn't in any shape to fight and he was clearly out numbered anyway. he'd have to wait it out and find a chance to take one of them out, or maybe even sneak his master out without them knowing.

The black figure shifted lightly in the tree's as he watched the group enter into the wooden house. He couldn't make it inside without them knowing, but now he could move without detection. Assassin hopped out of the tree and landed atop the roof of the house. Apparently it had many floors so it would be simple to get in with them on the bottom floor. Again he darted to find an entrance into the building, with his speed it would be easy right?

Just as the servant had found a proper entrance through a window on the second story two figures stepped into the room. It was the towering Servant along with some other boy with his master. From what he could gather he must have been this Servants master. His body curled away from view and listened in on the voices as they filled the empty air. The Servant was ordered to stay with her, and was also told to not attack. Being a Berserker it must have been a tall order there, but it was a brilliant turn of events for the Assassin. This class of Servant was normally fairly dumb, and an command like that may be taken as a general order.

It took a few moments, but the Servant and his master were now left alone in the room. Now would be the time to act if there ever was one. Assassin was just about to make his push into the room once he saw his master had awoken. With her being awake she might be more of a problem than anything. She wasn't fit to fight, and her mind must be in a few places now. Should he push in it might result in her getting herself into more trouble, but it would just have to be the case. If he didn't take this chance another might not arise.

Quickly shifting into Spirit form the Servant slipped into the room, drawing his dagger out and making a lunge at the Berserker from behind him as he took on his physical form again. "Clé Lámh Sleá!" He called as he slammed his dagger down as quickly as he could. This was going to have to be the killing blow, and he was relying on two things here. One was his speed. For being an Assassin he was still top notch in that area so unless this was some form of super Berserker he should be able to land the hit with his speed alone. The other was his noble phantasm. Clé Lámh Sleá wasn't always a one hit kill, depending on the fame of the Servant it would deal more or less damage. He'd have to hope that his servant was famous for something. Should he be some form of house hold name, his chest would explode..
Hey..

Berserker knew the attack was coming, but not with enough time to dodge. By the time he could move just a little bit, the dagger was imbeded in his left shoulder. The after-effect of the Noble Phantasm then activated and the effect was devestating, no-so-cleanly blowing a hole through through the servant's chest. The wound was obviously fatal, but the servant didn't fall instantly. He could barely turn to see his attacker though. It was another servant obviously, but he didn't have the mental fortitude to discern its class. Whatever it was had just attacked him and had defeated him with a single blow. There was nothing left that he could do though and William Wallace collapse to the floor, defeated.

Logan jumped to his feet as he heard his servant's fall from the floor above. "Good God, what does the brute think he's doing?" he wondered aloud in an annoyed tone and he hurried up the stairs, whipping out his undamaged G-18. Reaching the door to the hostage's room, he yanked the door open, machine pistol ready, and looked into the room. Berserker was gone. He was nowhere to be seen. He couldn't even feel the connection of their contract anymore. "You bastard," he said with a sigh as he cursed the other servant that was in the room, something in the voice gave the impression that he was on the verge of losing it.

Logan quickly aimed the machine pistol at the obviously Assassin's master, but he didn't pull the trigger. "If you had come to the front door, Servant, we could have discussed an agreement. I am not that difficult to reason with. You see, I obviously have something that you want, but you also have something that I want." He knew full well that servants were spiritual entities. Unless the servant could produce a shield or barrier to protect his master from the bullets, the shots would hit if he pulled the trigger.

Ken followed the magi closely as they ran up the stairs, the noise of what seemed to be Logan's large servant dropping had indeed surprised both of them. Ken had seen the servant earlier, a large and strong looking Berserker that probably couldn't be felled very easily.
Of course, as they entered the room where the hostage lay, the Berserker was nowhere to be seen. Instead, another man, a servant of some sort, stood triumphantly. He was probably the servant of the hostage, and the one who killed Berserker. They would have to be careful at least, since he was obviously capable.

However, that was hardly intimidating. Clearly, they were in a better position. Shrugging, he commented after the magi beside him, who seemed to want to act like a diplomat. "That was fairly stupid of you. I'm not sure about the man beside me, but I won't hesitate to kill this woman, hostage or not. In fact - unless you can give good reason for me not to, I should do so right now."
It ironically seemed like he was playing good cop / bad cop with Logan, however being diplomatic with the servant when he just killed the Berserker seemed foolish.
