Shutting Down?

So yea, I like the forum too, even if its just a few handful of people on here it is a great place just for fuzzy lop breeders to advertise, chat, and get to know each other and the breed they love. It will be staying open for now. Can anyone tell me if the spring Fuzzy tales came in? I had emailed Amy Arata a long time ago with the link. I may not have gotten mine as my renew was a little late
.
I dont expect this forum to get more than 50 members but it would be nice. As I remember AFL connection was just a small forum too for those of you who were on there. They had been up for a long time and had around 30 members. Since its really a breed only forum rabbit people are limited really if they have fuzzy lops. I am hoping that the link showed up in the Fuzzy Tales soo, if it did please tell me or else I am going to ask Amy again. But the members we do have registered I would love it if I could see some posts once in a while as I do know most of you too
So keep posting and advertising. Put it in signatures, topics, guestbooks etc. ..okay so thats one of the worst techniques but hey, Its a try :D
I am re-sending an email to the Yahoo Fuzzy Lop List and regular Fuzzy Lop Group.
Lets save the forum!!!
Oh and I'm sending out a bulk e-mail. Which I just did and forgot the link, how great was that?

Just follow the code and reply in this post please.
Positions Available:
Contest Moderator (1 Position Availble)
You must be ready to make polls for the FotM contests, Start Contests, and enforce any rules that are broken in the FotM contest. Answer any questions about the contest. Add the winners pictures to the winners thread and make a second poll for tie breakers.
Critique Moderator (1-2 Positions Availble)
When someone puts a critique up you need to be highly experienced in the Fuzzy Lop Area. You need to have a basic idea of a rabbit's type by its pictures and you should be on here once or twice a week at least to check over old and new critiques. This does not exclude other member's opinions on the rabbit as they are allowed but by having this position shows that you MUST reply to a critique with GOOD information and not just "pretty rabbit" give helpful tips and critique to the owner. Explain what you believe to be the faults of the rabbit and others. [Note* If applying for this position please give me a imaginary critique you would give a person and give me the links to two critiques you have posted in on this forum]
Forum Moderators (3 or 4 Positions Availble)
You must be on the forum regularly and check the forums you are a moderator of to be sure it has no spam, bad language or problems. If you are a moderator of forums such as health or nestbox you need to be experienced in these areas to answer any questions a member might have.
Forums Availble for Moderation:
Forums marked with an * indicate that you need to have more experience with fuzzy lops or rabbits in general for any questiosn. Forums marked with an # indicate that you need to have more experience with forums than rabbit experience. If you do run a forum or are staff on another forum give me the link if you can.

How To
Posted by Fuzz (Admins) at Jan 22 2009, 04:10 PM. 0 comments
How to post a picture
You need a photo host such as Photobucket or Image Shack. I like photobucket and I have had no problems with it. Once you upload pictures you will have links for your picture: Email & IM, Direct Link (url), HTML Code, and IMG Code. Use the IMG code link for posting pictures.
How to get an avatar and signature
At the top of the page you will see a link that says Preferences, and some more links will drop down once you scroll your mouse over the link that says: Change Avatar. Change Signature, Edit Profile, You can click any of these links to go to your Control Panel where you can change your information. Please stay within the size requirements for a signature and avatar.
How to get your Name Changed
You must have 100 Posts to get a name change, you will find it in your Control Panel (CP) an area where you can request a name change.
How to make a poll
You will see once you make a topic or add a reply that under the box you type in there will be options to Add a Poll or Post Options. If you are going to have more than one choice in the poll be sure to pick MultiVote and click the number of choices in the drop down box. When entering a poll choice every time you click enter it will be another choice.
Reminder: At the top of the page is a Fancy Fuzzies Portal where it will give you information without searching the board. Speaking of Search ZetaBoards also has a search button and say you are looking for a topic about a certain rabbit you can type in there name and topics with that name in it will show up in the search.
If you have any questions you can contact me at FancyFuzzies@gmail.com

Do you like this skin or the other skin, I like them both I am going to make a replica of the banner to match this and Change the Forum Markers and that will add something :)
This skin has always stood out to me its different yet very pretty.
The board with can be moved to fit the screen, would you prefer a longer board width?
Thanks,
Megan

Background: The origin of the American Fuzzy lop was from the Holland Lop. It seems that some breeders on the west cost introduced Angora into their holland llops in an effort to improve the fur quality on the impported Holland lops. Holland Lops were purchased from these west coast breeders and brougnt eastward. It was then noticed that every so often a holland lop was born with angora wool. These animals ere then bred together. The American Fuzzy Lop was accepted as recognized breed after the final presentation in 1988 by Patty Greene Karl.
General Description: The body shall be short and close-coupled with good depth . The head shall have good width beginning at the base of the ears and carried down between the eyes to a well filled muzzle. The ears should be well placed on th top of the head, lopping vertically from a wide, slightly flattened ear base. The head is massive in appearance and set high and close to the shoulders. The head and ears are covered by normal fur, not wool. Some side trimmings are permissible. Hind feet also to have normal fur, preferable to the hock joint. Foot pads to be thick and heavy. Body wool should be as dense as possible. The wool should be slightly coarse in nature, and at least 2 inches in length.
