This thread is for the many movies that had an impressing ending, whether it was happy/sad or with a great twist.
Please try to avoid spoilers, but if you must--use the spoiler tags. ([spoiler*] text here [/spoiler*] without the stars)

Here are mine:

The Sixth Sense -- So unexpected. It really took me by surprise.
Return of the King -- There were a lot of loose ends to tie up, so the multiple endings were a real treat.
The Thing -- Very, very mysterious IMHO. You've no idea what's going to happen.
Cyrano de Bergerac -- Love this film. The ending gets me every time.

This thread is full of win.

Return of the King: A bit long, but perfect in every sense. It brought everything to an excellent conclusion.
Rent: I love that it ends with life and happiness rather than the few tragic scenes before it. Makes it pretty clear that the remaining friends are still together as one. :)
Batman Begins: The revealing of the Joker card killed me. I just loved it.
Rocky: One word. "ADRIAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!"
Back to the Future: I think it's amazing how you think Marty is going to have a normal life after everything, and then BAM. Doc whisks him off to the future. XD
Saw 1: You can't beat this ending. You just can't.
Moulin Rouge: No other ending could have satisfied me. It just fits, even though it's the most depressing scene ever.
Revenge of the Sith: It made me so sad, but I thought it was terrific.
We know a little about a lot of things; just enough to make us dangerous.
