Account Name: Zen Profile Name: Ambrosius Angelos Nickname: Ambrosius IV, Little Lord, The Mage-King of Trillium Age: Physically 27 (Roughly around 3500 overall) Gender: Male Height: 187cm Weight: 73kg Guild: Blue Pegasus Class: C Affiliation: Neutral Appearance Physical Description: Ambrosius is a young man of above-average height, with a strong but supple build. His hair is golden blonde in color, and of medium length. His facial features can be described as handsome, shaped much like one might expect from a stereotypical fantasy king in his youth. His eyes are a light red color, accentuated by thin eyebrows which are darker than the hair on his head. He possesses a bold nose, but not so large it offsets the balance of his facial features. His chin is pronounced and his jaw is strong without being square. His fingers are slender, almost to the point of being feminine. Ambrosius always keeps himself shaved smooth, though he has little in terms of body hair by nature. Clothing: Ambrosius has extensive closets of clothing, and whether the colors are muted or vibrant, each single item is fashionable and well-made. Ambrosius stays up-to-date with fashion trends and follows accordingly. He has no desire to be a trendsetter, but looking good is of vital importance to a king. Ambrosius does have a leaning towards the flamboyant, preferring clothes far more fanciful than the situation demands. Accessories: Ambrosius possesses a large number of accessories, but most are not a prominent part of his day-to-day look. He occasionally wears a pair of reading glasses. Extra: Ambrosius has a set of crimson tattooed lines around his torso and right upper arm. Picture: Ambrosius Angelos Personality First and foremost, a king must be proud. Ambrosius is nothing if not confident. He radiates it - in his stride, in his speech, in his actions. Ambrosius always holds his chin up high, and he does not hesitate. If he sees a course of action, he speaks it, and attempts to inspire those around him to follow. A king is expected to lead, not to follow. If possible, Ambrosius will take the lead in any situation where he can. His behavior is easily mistaken for narcissism and arrogance, a fact of which he is aware. A king must obey protocol in foreign lands. Within the borders of Fiore, Ambrosius respects the authority of Knights ranked Sergeant and above, and will treat Privates and Corporals with respect unless he deems their choices foolish. Additionally, he obeys those laws with the most grievous punishment both through moral fiber and respect for the law. Ambrosius will not commit wanton murder, but in extreme situations or times of war, he will not hesitate to execute an enemy. A king must look beyond himself. Despite his initial arrogance, Ambrosius is actually a caring person. While his behavior might seem disrespectful since he believes himself to be above all others not of noble blood, he often expresses admiration and fondness towards those who have earned it. Those who can look past his initial (over)confident attitude will find him an easy man to befriend. A king must be brave. He stands as an exemplar for his people. While wisdom bids a king cannot lead from the tip of the spear, Ambrosius is not afraid to enter combat with his enemies. His valor is tampered by self-awareness, and he knows there is no disgrace in a tactical retreat. He knows when he is outclassed, and will attempt to avoid combat in these situations. A king must be fashionable. A king represents his people to the eyes of others. Therefor, for a king's appearance to be blemished is for the appearance of his people to be blemished. Ambrosius puts a lot of effort into making sure his clothes are always fashionable, his hygiene is always perfect, and his hair is always well-kept. This does not stretch to a point of exaggeration. It's natural for one's body to become dirtied in combat. He will not balk at stepping into a puddle of mud if it means getting a more favorable position. However, despite all these positive qualities, the king is rarely perfect. Commonly, kings have vices, and Ambrosius is no different. He enjoys the night life and all that comes with it; sex, drugs, and rock & roll. Ambrosius possesses no specific vice or addiction - whatever comes his way to spice up his night gets a shot. This also stretches to the day. While Ambrosius possesses some level of self-awareness, he can also be impulsive and brash. In case he has a task to fulfill or some other urgent goal, he is not above committing lesser crimes, ranging from petty theft, to breaking and entering, to even assault if necessary. Additionally, his drug use is against the law by itself, and Ambrosius definitely does not let that stop him. History History Weaponry/Equipment Name: Divine Right Class: S Price: 34,000,000 Description: The Divine Right takes the form of a number of tattooed lines around Ambrosius's torso and his upper right arm. Image Effect/Function: The Divine Right isn't simply a set of tattoos. The ink used for the tattoos was infused with powerful protective magic, creating a permanent magical shield around Ambrosius's body. Ambrosius is permanently enveloped in an armor of magical energy wrapped tightly around his skin. Impacts against this armor create ripples across the surface of his body, much like ripples on the surface of a body of water. Should the shield be broken in a place, it shatters, creating clear glowing lines on Ambrosius's body where the hole in the armor was made. Other than this, the armor functions exactly like a full body suit of S-Class armor.Stats - 645 Power: 70 Endurance: 100 Toughness: 75 Speed: 70 Accuracy: 70 Magic: 110 (260) Earned Stat Points Earned: 1/591 Arc Points Earned: 19/33 [+16 GP] Jewels Earned: 142,765,000/213,965,000 (148,330,000) Sources Sources Skills & Disciplines
Magic Magic Name: Liberation Magecraft Magic Type: Support Specialist - Physical Enhancement Tier of Magic: 1 Rank: 10 [2] Magic Description: Liberation Magecraft is a rather complicated type of magic. Rather than affecting the material world like most support magics do, Liberation Magecraft instead focuses on the modification of limits - even conceptual limits. For instance, by raising the limit on the amount of power a person's muscles can put out, Liberation Magecraft can make them much faster or stronger. Alternatively, by raising the limit of damage a person can take temporarily, they can be shielded. By raising the limit of how fast the body restores wounds, healing is possible. This can get more esoteric. For example, by removing the limit of gravity on the body, flight is possible via Liberation Magecraft. Limits can also be lowered - physical strength, speed, everything along those lines. Techniques: 62/62 (+58/62 bought) Royal Decree: Execution - 10 [2] Type: Offensive Range: 150m radius Effect: A singular display of mastery over Liberation Magecraft. For just the mere brink of an eye, Amborius removes the limits on his will, allowing him to affect the physical world. However, this requires such a degree of finesse that the effects tend to be crude, yet effective. By imposing his will on the world around him, Ambrosius can create a massive outwards-traveling wave of arcane force. As this is a manifestation of Ambrosius's will, the technique only strikes down that which he wants to destroy. Execution deals catastrophic concussive damage to each target within the AoE, liquefying organs and pulverizing fortifications. Affected targets continue taking lethal damage each post for three posts. The cooldown for this technique triggers when used, not when the AoE runs out. Duration: Instantaneous Cooldown: 1 post. [Overpower Effects: Damage Over Time, Upgraded Damage Over Time] Royal Decree: Pardon - 10 [2] Type: Supportive Range: Self Effect: Ambrosius reducers the limit of gravity's effect on himself, allowing him to fly. This allows Ambrosius to fly for up to 1000 meters high, at a Speed equal to his own Speed +40. He has no limit to how much he can carry when flying, other than that which he would be able to carry when not in flight. Duration: 7 posts Cooldown: 1 post [Overpower Effects: Reduce Cooldown, Increase Buff] Royal Decree: Redemption - 10 [2] Type: Supportive (Healing) Range: 20m radius Effect: Ambrosius raises the limit on healing for five targets within range, allowing their body to heal rapidly from wounds. At this rank, Redemption can heal two Critical Wounds, or six Severe Wounds, et cetera per post. Additionally, instead of healing two Critical Wounds, it can restore a lost organ, instead of two Severe Wounds it can reattach a limb, et cetera per post. For one Critical Wound, it can restore five liters of blood, for one Severe Wound it can restore three liters of blood, et cetera per post. Duration: This technique can be channeled for two posts. Cooldown: 1 post. [Overpower Effects: Extra Post Channel, Single Target -> Multi-Target] Gifts of Royalty: Generosity - 10 [2] Type: Supportive Range: Personal Effect: The next buff Ambrosius casts in the same post as this technique will ignore the rules about buff stacking. It will be treated as if another PC used it for its entire duration. That buff's rank needs to be equal to or lower than this technique's. Duration: Same as the buff affected by Generosity. Cooldown: 1 post [Overpower Effect: Reduce Cooldown] Gifts of Royalty: Prosperity - 10 [2] Type: Supportive Range: 100m Effect: Ambrosius selects two buff spells in range that he or an ally cast and have a rank equal to or lower than this technique. Those Buff techniques have their duration restored to their normal maximum. If a Buff Ambrosius targets affects multiple targets, only one needs to be in range and they all gain the benefit. Duration: Instantaneous Cool Down: 2 posts. If 50% or less of the duration was restored, the cool down is 1 post. [Overpower Effects: Multiple Refresh, Reduced Cooldown] Blessing of the King: Judge - 10 [2] Type: Supportive (Buff) Range: Personal Effect: Ambrosius raises the limits on the strength output of his muscles, allowing for increased bursts of speed and strength. This technique grants a buff of +46 Power and +46 Speed. Additionally, a shield envelops Ambrosius in a personal shield. This shield can stop many very strong strikes or a few overwhelming strikes. This shield can also stop a single rank 10 technique before breaking, or three rank 9 techniques, et cetera. This shield lasts until the buff ends, or until it is broken. Duration: 7 Cooldown: 1 [Buff Options: +1.5 SP/Rank, +1.5 SP/Rank, Decrease Cooldown, Increase Duration, Increase Duration, Basic Shield, Advanced Shield] [Overpower Options: Increase Duration, Reduce Cooldown] Blessing of the King: Bulwark - 10 [2] Type: Supportive (Buff) Range: Personal Effect: Ambrosius raises the limit on his natural vitality, empowering his reaction speed, resistance to damage, and resistance to fatigue. This technique grants a buff of +36 Accuracy, +36 Toughness, and +35 Endurance. Additionally, for the first two posts of this buff's duration, Ambrosius is immune to debuffs. Duration: 7 Cooldown: 1 [Buff Options: +1.75 SP/Rank, +1.75 SP/Rank, Decrease Cooldown, Increase Duration, Increase Duration, Debuff Immunity, Increase Duration] [Overpower Options: Enhanced Debuff Immunity, Reduce Cooldown] Grim Duty: Grand Punishment - 10 [2] Type: Supportive Range: Personal Effect: The next debuff Ambrosius casts this post will ignore the rules about debuff stacking. It will be treated as if another PC used it for its entire duration. That debuff's rank needs to be equal to or lower than this technique's. Duration: Grand Punishment has the same duration as the debuff spell it maintains. Cool Down: 1 post [Overpower Effect: Reduced Cooldown] High Judgement: Cripple - 10 [2] Type: Supportive (Debuff) Range: 50m radius Effect: Ambrosius raises the limit on the amount of effort required to move around for up to three targets, inflicting a -80 debuff to Speed. Ambrosius decides who is and who is not affected by this technique within range. This technique's targets are immune to buffs for the first post of this debuff. Duration: 5 posts Cooldown: 1 post [Buff Effects: -1 SP/rank, -1 SP/rank, Increase Duration, Affect 2 Targets, Affect 3 Targets, Decrease Cooldown, Aura, Buff Immunity] [Overpower Effects: Decrease Cooldown, Medium Range] High Judgement: Flay - 10 [2] Type: Supportive (Debuff) Range: 50m radius Effect: Ambrosius raises the limit on how much damage is inflicted to up to four targets, inflicting a -80 debuff to Toughness. Ambrosius decides who is and who is not affected by this technique within range. Duration: 5 posts Cooldown: 1 post [Buff Effects: -1 SP/rank, -1 SP/rank, Increase Duration, Affect 2 Targets, Affect 3 Targets, Affect 4 Targets, Decrease Cooldown, Aura] [Overpower Effects: Decrease Cooldown, Medium Range] Edited by Zen, Feb 25 2018, 02:51 AM.

Greetings. The Chickens shall judge your work.... Okay, the Chickens like this app. Well written. But I've seen a few issues: First, which is not so imperative: does your history lore work out? I'm not sure Trillium's old description before Astraea's snafu session had ruins in it. The City of Winds even kinda sounded agrarian. And I don't know whether Trillium is as old as 3000 years or more. Now onto the more serious part. Let's start with the spells Gifts of Royalty: Generosity and Grim Duty: Grand Punishment. I may have to cry Fowl! on these ones. Buff stacking and debuff stacking are rules, not guides, so I don't believe they can be worked around, sorry. |

The history was discussed with Tenken, who wrote the history and lore for Fiore as a country, and he confirmed that this would be fine. These techniques are versions of Sonorous Hum and Dissonant Hum, which are part of Tier 1 & 2 Support Specialist as per the buff/debuff rules. |
