Just saying, Iceberg's pretty far away from Fiore, and I was getting the vibe that the Jarl's in on his own. I doubt that the country, given its write-up, would commit to a war so far away when it literally had a wall put up to get away from Pergrande. Our main objective here is to destroy Bosco's weapon, and we should get to it, given that some people have already gotten off track. |

Okay so what are we doing about this fight? Can I get a recap? It feels like we've lost the plot a little and I don't want to just write stuff for the sake of writing it. Also my character can't do a lot, but I suppose he can parry blades. |

What Moon said. My character has a spear... and that's pretty much it. |

Well, concerning the fight, there isn't really much to do save fight the Ghost of Bosco Future. Moonlit, Trevor is a knight, yes? Uh... okay, that's kind of tough. I'd have suggested throwing a blade at The Ghost of Bosco Future's face, but I don't know... Reya... uh, wait for a distraction, maybe, then Cain can try to drive the spear at his eye... or he can throw the spear, right? Best thing though is to just get away from those knives, and it seems like Talon helped most of us out there. One more thing, Moonlit, pardon me, but I don't quite get what you mean by "lost the plot a little..." I would have suggested that some of us do some other plot progressive actions, but it's unlikely the Ghost of Bosco Future will let any of us duck out of the room. P.S.: Mazohyst mentioned "using the systems for their own means..." I don't know, but perhaps one of us could do something with the systems in the control room, and hope Ghost of Bosco Future is too busy with the others to interfere. Can't see Trevor's skills, but Cain has some training as a sailor, yes? Some of the controls might mean something to him. Perhaps we could lock some doors, like that of the helipad to prevent escape, or if the controls here have aught on the weapon, we could try to cripple a thing or two from this end. Just saying... I believe the plot is to destroy the weapon. The way to at least accessing the weapon seems to be in the Control Room, and I'm certain nobody will be accessing anything until the Ghost of Bosco Future is in a position where even Scrooge won't be scared of him. That said, it's part of the plot to take him out. For those wondering what to do, I agree with Hadou. Distract him for someone else to make an attack (rather dangerous) or take advantage of someone else's attack and attempt to blindside him. |

All I meant was that I felt like we were wandering a little bit. I just wanted to establish a direction in my own mind about things. It's no big deal :) I've got some notion of what to post now. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't way off base with what I planned to post. |

I'm thinking that perhaps someone can help connect the two bridges? Not entirely sure but I believe Toshiro has a sort of smoke that can create constructs, correct? |

Yes, I believe Toshiro should be able to do something about that. Beryl would have had some options, if the whole facility weren't metal and plastic, which it seems to be. Basic Earth Bender problems. And I don't think there are two bridges. I think there's one large-ass bridge that swings to and away, connected to the other end of the facility. Now Trevor has activated it, it will swing to, and connect both ends of the facility. Now I believe that we should also begin discussions on how to wreck the Weapon, and by wreck, I'm sure we don't mean just cutting wires and dismembering the machine. And aside destruction of the weapon, the more important objective: getting out of there alive. I HATE posthumous awards. Personally, all the scenarios I have run through my brain involve mighty explosions (aside the most improbable 'drop it into a vat of acid'), and I'm not sure there's any "Beam 'Em Up, Scotty" waiting for us once (that is, if) we rig the weapon to blow. Ideas? Edited by Grond, Mar 6 2018, 05:26 PM.

I'm harvesting Cain after this event. Worse comes worse he can do a manual detonation. I plan to have him die in this thread anyway, sooooo |

It would seem explosions are a problem. Do we have any means of taking shelter/making shelter after we rig things to go kaboom? |
