2018. Can you believe it? What the hell happened? '17 went by like nobody's business. For many, it was a fun year. For some, it was a stressful one. But now, it's finally over and we can usher in the next. Let's make 2018 a year of improvement, both for ourselves and this site, and let's continue to stay awesome and get even more awesome. Let's kill it and live it!

One more thing! There's also a nice little event on New Year's Resolutions you can find in the Site Events section of the board. Also, the 5th Phase of the Boscan War is commencing! You can find sign-ups and information in the Site Events section as well. Happy New Year, everyone. Stay awesome.

Appearance
Physical Description: Felix is a tall man with brown hair that goes a little past his shoulders, with eyes dark brown in color, and somewhat sharp eyebrows. He's fairly tall, around 6 feet tall, and a respectable combination of strong and agile to make him look both without looking either bulky or lanky. He keeps his hair somewhat neat, though there always seem to be a few spikes of it here and there. His bangs are long enough to partially hang over his eyes, obscuring one side of his face to some extent depending on which way he’s facing. His bangs are also slightly disheveled a lot of the time, as if he’s always just run across a strong breeze. His nose has a very slight point to it, as he’s often seen with a somewhat calm-looking expression on his face.
Clothing: Felix wears a garb that is unmistakably that of a wanderer or traveler, alot of green in the mix, along with a green cape that's seen some wear and also seems to double as a scarf of sorts. He has a green tunic that's bound shut in the front, beige gloves and brown boots, along with gray-ish pants. He also wears a green belt, visible across the gray-ish undershirt that he wears underneath his tunic. The tunic itself is noticeably shorter than the undershirt, with long sleeves, whose ends are hidden inside his gloves.
Accessories: Pouches for various things on the front his his shin-guards, the pouch attached to his belt, and the small, weapon-like holster attached to his right leg, clearly made to hold some sort of small weapon like a dagger.
Extra: A reddish-brown strap around his chest that holds his sword across his back at a jaunty angle.

Personality
Felix is a rather kind fellow, willing to lend a hand if he feels that someone nearby is in need of assistance of some kind, but he is also versed from his travels thus far, and is wary of people to would try to take advantage of said kindness, though he has a habit of giving people the benefit of the doubt on that one. He's rather casual with those he can call his friends, including his summons, who are sometimes more chatty than Felix himself, who admittedly can vary from talkative to contemplative in terms of how much he talks.

Felix himself is a rather cool-headed fellow, managing to keep his head when it counts for the most, and usually being rather slow to anger. It helps him see things clearly alot of the time, as even when angry, he keeps his goals clear and his mind set. He's also very respectful of the elements, despite his rather casual attitude with his own Djinn. They were what his home village worshiped, so while not seeing them as a god, he does pay them due respect, and tends to see their influence in places that others might not.

He’s usually rather passionate about the elements, but does try to keep it to himself – unlike the people of his village, he knows not everyone feels like having a talk about the forces that make up the world to pass the time. He’s a rather brave fellow, but doesn’t exactly leap into battle – he’s more of the type to enjoy a fight, but not start one just for that alone.

While not a big fan of criticism, he’s willing to hear it out if it’s constructive and can help him in some fashion. Though usually he gets the bulk of critique from Flint, which he prefers, as Flint, while chatty, is also very friendly about it. He also is easy to make friends with for most, as while he considers someone a friend without much time having passed, Felix’s calm attitude, being a varying combo of respectful and casual, is easy to get along with for most.

Skills & Disciplines
One with the Elements - Having been raised in a village where ties to the elements were important and almost revered, Felix has a naturally strong bond with them, and can tell when something is amiss. Also allows Felix to communicate mentally with his Djinn when they aren’t summoned.
Swordsman - Trained when he was young, Felix is an adept sword user. While not as proficient as his wielding of the elements, his swordsmanship does fine work when magic is not needed.

Magic Description: A summon magic that allows the summoner to summon a variety of elemental entities known as Djinn to fight alongside him in battle and support him with their elemental-themed techniques, or fight while the summoner himself provides support in the form of magic. Also enables a few elementally minor or neutral abilities to Felix himself, in addition to Felix being able focus the energy of multiple Djinn at once with his magic in order to use stronger techniques, such as attacks that would normally only be possible from stronger spirits, but at the cost of using up the energy of the Djinn participating (triggering their CD regardless of whether they were out or not). (Note that later this will include Light/Dark Djinn, but far, far fewer in number - only 1 of each planned atm.)

Two issues with this tech. One, increasing the damage received by Water element techs by 2 ranks is too steep. Instead, subsequent Water techs should deal a bonus damage of your tech's rank minus 2. Secondly, your tech is rank 5. This option can only be obtained at rank 6 or higher. Also, please do mention that the stat reduction of your debuff can't go below 1/3 of the victim's affected stat.
