It seemed that the surprise party for their mom was a success as she cried, hugging her children in turn and kissing them in their cheeks. Reggie was glad she helped make it happen. Even the grumpy old woman seemed to be not so grumpy about the surprise party. As their client was done kissing her children in turn, her husband appeared from the trees bringing hotdogs on stick. "I knew you would react that bad." He said as he approached them. "So you're a part of this as well?" The woman said as she let her husband came to her. "I can't be a sitting duck especially if it's for my wife." He said which actually made Reggie felt giddy for the both of them. She couldn't helped herself but hugged Toshiro's arm in delight. "Awww." She sighed as the husband walked towards his wife and kissed her. "Well, Hotdogs everyone!" The husband yelled as he was done kissing his wife. "This is all we got for the short time notice." He said as he offered his tray around. The kids picked their hotdogs, next the wife, then Reggie and Toshiro, and lastly the old woman. "Thank you!" Reggie said to the husband as she took a bite of her hotdog and ate it delightedly. "Hmmmm..." Everyone was now eating their hotdogs as they settled into the clearing, sitting on the grass and were having a good time. The woman approached Reggie and Toshiro. "Thank you for your help. Thank you for accepting the request on a short notice. Thank you very much!" The woman said as she hugged Reggie in joy. "That's alright. It's mother's day after all. And your kids wanted to surprise you. We're glad to be of help." She said as she smiled at the woman. The woman smiled at them and proceed to thank the old lady for helping as well. Reggie and Toshiro then spent their entire afternoon, laughing along with the kids and watching the family celebrating the day for the mother. The blonde wizard wondered if her kids would do such thing for her, if Toshiro would help them as well, and how she would react in case her children gone missing. She couldn't helped but laughed at herself as she got excited for having a family with Toshiro. |

Just like what Toshiro and Reggie expected, the entire assignment isn’t as dangerous as it sounds like. The two managed to deduced it from the earlier clues and information they obtained and managed to figure out that the children aren’t kidnapped or missing but simply just planning some kind of surprise for the mother. One might think that the woman is a bit oblivious to all of this or just didn’t take the hint but that is a good thing since the children managed to successfully surprise their mother. With everyone there enjoying, the husband soon arrived bringing out a plate of hotdogs. The husband is glad that the children managed to surprise the wife as both of them shared a kiss and hug with one another. On the other hand, Toshiro just stood there behind with the blonde mage as he simply puffed out transparent smoke from his mouth while the family enjoyed each other’s company. The husband soon offered the hotdogs for everyone there, including the old lady as she did help out with the set up. The smoke mage didn’t bother declining the offer since the husband is a bit persistent about it, so Toshiro pick up a hotdog and proceed to eat it while watching the party. “Alright thanks, this is pretty good.” The smoke mage said to the husband after offering the food to him. For now, the blonde mage and the smoke mage have successfully succeeded in accomplishing the assignment given to them by the client and are now completely free. So maybe they could just stay with the party as the two watched over the family with their children running around, enjoying the party they all help out setting up. “Glad that this assignment didn’t ended up with any problems. In fact, it turned quite better for everyone here.” The smoke mage said towards the blonde mage as he turned to look at her. |
