There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. -Humble Tiger- Izayoi has the moniker of “Humble Tiger of QiTian” as even though he’s a prodigy, he has no pride in it regardless of having mastered all eastern fighting.
Izayoi stand five feet, eleven inches and weight a staggering three hundred twenty pounds of pure muscle as his body fat percentage is actually 3%, yet due to various modifications done to his body by the Wuji Master so his body could withstand the rigors of wielding one of his father’s deviant blades his body weight is much more than of a healthy ordinary human of the same height. His white, slightly tanned skin inherited from both of his biological parents is totally full of scars from the neck down but this is usually covered by his clothes, his hair is usually style in a shaggy but refined haircut that gives him an air of nobility although he usually wears the mantle of the cuilian over it. His face looks young and chestnut-like with a sharp chip and small nose, with big round blue eyes under his fine blond eyebrows. Finally, Izayoi’s teeth are pristine white with a sharp elegant mouth, cared well by the disciplined lifestyle of his.
As a human enhanced by training and medicine of wuji, he is as the peak of human performance, gifted with eidetic memory, high resistance to disease, skeleton augmentation, joint reinforcement and nearly unlimited potential in martial arts, making him pound-by-pound a dead ringer for a Yato although he has no relation to the elusive nomads hailing from enca nor do his augmentation are as advanced or hereditary. But even so, Izayoi rigorous dieting and muscle training under the monks blessed him with the same muscle structure as them, giving him an exceptionally defined physique, incredible control of said muscle that are composed solely of pink tissue, giving him both power and endurance without being bulky also allowing him pinpoint control of said muscle mass, allowing him to easily bulge or soften his muscles to change his body type.

Izayoi usually dress very sharply and western, contrary to the trend on wuji of robes and kimonos, he wears a mix of both western formal clothing and eastern ceremonial wear, representing his origins as a man of both cultures.
For his upper body Izayoi wears a basic white undershirt with a light blue sweater over it that had been made with a special light, breath trough clothes that make it comfortable to wear in combat, all capped off with a deep blue tie on his neck. Over that Izayoi wears an open blue with white stripes blazer usually all dirty from his wanderings and battles as Izayoi refuses to wear much of armor. For his lower body, he goes with a pair of grey blue pants with comfortable black dress shoes. All of this is usually covered by his mantle of cuilian. As for his eastern accessories, he wears a single blue kote armguard made of specially treated metal to prevent friction and he wears a pair of matching kuzusashi over his thighs to protect him along with a largely ornate blue obi with a yellow border and tied around with an orange thick rope

[tab=Introduction to Izayoi] Izayoi is known mainly for his humility and selflessness, always willing to help humans in needs regardless of situation but also for his impressive composure and control over himself even in the tensest of situations making him seem melancholic at times yet the truth is he has a dangerously unfettered mentality, completely disregarding almost anything at times, working more like a machine than a man to achieve his goals. He is very pragmatic in regarding how he views people, as Izayoi labels them either as humans (worth saving) and non-humans (only fit for killing) to which he explains he has no middle ground for, he would either save or kill, not stand indecisive.
Outside of his seriousness, Izayoi is known at times to show some signs of immaturity, especially when ‘experimenting’ with new forging techniques with his siblings, showing almost child-like curiosity and glee. He is also contrary to what is expected of him as priest, a bit of a hedonist in how he deals with his personal relations with the opposite sex as Izayoi is quite the randy man and has quite a history with being loose with sex. But even being a randy and confident man, he still gets abashed and even ashamed at time almost to the point of being effeminate when certain people praise him or is awarded forcefully some kind of prize he knows he can’t reject, hiding his face behind his mantle. He also harshly reminds people who praise his looks that he is not beautiful, HE IS HANDSOME.[/tab] [tab=Views] As a martial artist, priest of the of sword god and a born and raised swordsman from Wuji Valley, Izayoi leans on the reasoning of power being used wisely and in a measured manner without taking extremes such never taking a life or always killing opponents as in his own personal believe strength is a ‘right without light or dark’ and its only given by the purpose of its bearer and as such Izayoi is a warrior who seeks purely, but not solely strength to attain his own goals in life regardless of perceived morality. The same does not go for violence, as while Izayoi is a fighter and has an appetite for combat he does not and will never endorse violence for the sake of it or used it to suppress the weak, however his reasoning is that it is simply an affront to his faith to use violence and power over the weak as this actions produce kegare, rather than some kind of mercy.
Izayo strange sensibilities come from his strange view of honor that is born from his faith as priest of O-mikazuchi-sama, he believes in the ‘honoring of one’s humanity’ rather than 'honoring the law of one’s lord' as in doing what is right because it is what a human would do rather than being action being imposed by society as a sort of unbreakable law or ethic. A good example of this is that while Izayoi will protect a weak man he likes and asks for nothing in return, by the same coin he will commit murder for that man to protect him. A master of martial arts who fundamentally keeps the morality of the innate goodness of man but at same time also accepts evil, Izayoi's morality has deviated from the general common sense but he can still be called a "sensible person" that esteems rationality and righteousness because even if his actions are unfettered, his goals are firmly fettered in his own humanity.[/tab] [tab=Goals] Those who know Izayoi, know for a fact he is defined by one trait, his unshakable belief in humans and their limitless potential and sees anything that preys against that potential as evil or needless, thus why his goal in life is the destruction of evils that prey on humans and forging weapons to allow humans to defeat these evils, especially demons that possess humans to spread. Aside his quest against this evil, Izayoi pursues a life of humility as a servant of the people, helping others achieve their dreams and a giver of hope as a wandering swordsman and preacher of the faith of the sword god, teaching warriors to live as honorable warriors regardless of morality[/tab] [tab=Faith] Izayoi is preacher of the faith of O-Takemikazuchi-sama, or just the sword god to those not initiated in the east tongue. It is a warrior god who embodies the concept of sword, the protector and guide of all those who walk the path of the sword be it for good or evil to protect them from abandoning the path of man into the path of the daemon and since the era of myth represents just war against demons who invaded this world. O-Takemikazuchi-sama has protected mankind since then, thanks to his unyielding love in human potential, safeguarding it from the powerful daemons that are born from humanity's weakness. No great rituals are required to express the faith of the sword god aside a willingness to walk the path of the sword as warrior. To have your sword honor O-Takemikazuchi-sama you must be a swordsman who honors your humanity, as even in you most evil, you must maintain the dignity of man and dedicate yourself to the values of Valor, Effort and Wisdom.[/tab] [tab=Likes & Dislikes] Aside his daily smiting, praying and kyudo, Izayoi likes admiring legendary swords and caring for them as well as reading about a wide variety of cultures, he also likes to go drinking and whoring every once in a while, having quite the fame in the brothels, aside he occasionally goes back to wuji to talk with adopted brothers. His greatest personal dislike is cold. Having grown used to sweltering heat of the forge, he detests the feeling of coldness that comes without it. He also favors spicy and flavorful food against the mild flavors he grew up with in the monastery
As an osafune, Izayoi has an inborn hatred of daemonic, to him daemons and those who consort with them do not even deserve even his visible anger so he deals with them without showing anything but the same disdain a man shows when squashing a roach with his foot. However, he is not as blind as to judge all beings who have daemon blood as consorting with daemons so he has no issue with those who value their humanity, even if they have demonic blood in their veins
On a lighter note, Izayoi is also prone to pun humor and practical jokes, although always with a certain level of respect as the he got this habit from the monks but still, he is not a stiff all the times.[/tab][/tabs]

Classification: Master Status: Deceased The 36th successor of the Tamahanage Magic and former head of The Osafune Clan whose sole desire was creating a sword and swordsman who ‘surpassed perfect blades into completion’. Having adopted Izayoi as a baby and raised under his influence as the perfect pupil along with his grandsons, he entrusted the secrets of his art to three while making Izayoi the successor to the clan along with the deviant sword Yamambagiri hoping that Izayoi would reach completion that for so long avoided him as he was ‘the perfect raw materials’ for his sword making magic techniques to finally reach completion. He was killed by the Youtou Namakura during the attack at Xia Village
Professor O.
Classification: Biological Father Status: Deceased Fioran professor of magic theory and former Lamia Scale member who mastered necromancy magic and discovered the second origin that gave birth to the magical overpower method. Professor O. got the attention of the first Boscan War Effort who wanted to the research for their selves, leading to the Professor meeting a young Lucy Steelman after asking the government for protection and failing to get them to protect him, he hired her instead, having many adventures and eventually a romance producing a child. He was eventually gunned down by a boscan commando team that intended to steal his research and while he managed not only survive those wound but beat an entire squad of commandos...he lost his life in the process.
Lucy Steelman
Classification: Biological Mother Status: AWOL Bodyguard to Professor O, at the age of 14. A mercenary upholding only one rule: ‘children are innocent’, everything else was fair game to the child merc known as the Devil of Acacia. Lucy was assigned to guard professor and eventually had a romance with the man, and after one drunken night she wound up pregnant. Sadly, at age 29, she and Professor O where gunned down by Boscan commando’s to obtain Professor O’s magical research and kill her unborn child, Lucy however survived the incident, killed Professor O. and manage to reach wuji to give birth to Izayoi. She then disappeared from wuji after giving birth and most assume her dead, however the Steelman Family insist she is alive but will not divulge further details. Her SOSA factor is Unchained Writing; it allowed her to write words with utter precision which she combines with her gun magic to increase her accuracy by writing with bullets.
Tetsuo & Jun Osafune
Classification: Adoptive Siblings Status: Alive Tesuo and Jun are the biological grandsons of gouken and 'brothers’ of Izayoi, as fellow masters of the Tamahanage magic. Tesuo is the oldest, a famous yamabushi in Qitan specializing in curing maladies of supernatural origin although he is also the physically strongest of the siblings, which he combines with a terrifying mastery of his Ten while Jun, the youngest, is a master of shu, possessing a unique Hatsu that allows him to warp in to any point his blades exist and makes a living as a delivery boy. The siblings usually keep in touch with each other and with the monastery but have large dedicated themselves to the pursuit of new smiting knowledge and creating new kandachime ‘daughters’ but usually wind up fighting the demons that have begun appearing all over fiore due to the Boscan War

Steelman Family
Classification: “Allies” Status: Active This are a group of humans that have only two things in common, sharing the family name ‘Steelman’ and a unique talent born from a mutation in their brains that is colloquially known as a “state of self-actualization” or SOSA that allows them to master one skill at birth to the utmost level, working similarly to an extreme form of functional autism. Due to this mutation, the Steelman name is influential in almost every facet of daily live as famous actresses, sport stars and politicians hail from this prestigious lineage, becoming a symbol of unblemished excellence that has caused most Steelman to be nicknamed ‘Unchained’, for a Steelman’s one talent is free from most limits found in ordinary folk which often cause them, like most autistic humans to be introverts and even sociopaths. Izayoi has little contact with his maternal direct family due to never been officially presented to the family by his mother at birth, but he knows it was one of them, mostly his great grandfather, who arranged for Gouken to adopt him and has also interceded many times for the well-being and protection of the monastery.

Build Type: Balanced Izayoi favors melee over range, but this is not always as he can be seen using blades as arrows to fight as well, thus is hard to say what type of build since he is fond of the idea of simply using whatever tactics works bests for his fights.
Specialization: Living Sword Izayoi is the successor to secret art of Tamahagane, that which turns the body into a sword to create a sword to reach the completion of oneself. Izayoi uses this art to a great effect to fight his enemies with martial skill & grace.

Rank: B Price: 7 Mil Description: A coin sized amulet worn around the neck, it is made of carved wood painted with old gold colors along with red, the amulet has the twelve symbols representing the gods and hold a large impression of the sun, representing the power of the natural world irradiating upon those of the Qitan Monastery.
Effect/Function:硬化 – Kousotsu (lit. Armored Warrior) Thanks to it magic, this amulet is enchanted to passively gather energy from the ambient automatically and generate a skin tight invisible aura that count as d-rank amour covering the entire body of its wearer. If it broken the amulet will need to cooldown for 3 turns before the effect activates again. The effect can also be removed by stealing the amulet from Izayoi.
In his requip Arsenal, he carries his clan’s legendary weapon, the Hama Yumi, his Spear Shukuchi, an enormous amount of Kunai to use with his Touei spell along with hentaitous, kandachimes and whatever other weapons and armor he has forged or capture in his journeys. As he rarely delves into his other weapons, his arsenal is mostly for storage or used exclusively by need basis
-Skills- Izayoi is both a member of the Qitan Monastery were all the secret of martial arts are gathered and was adopted by Gouken Osafune as heir to his clan’s art, the lost magic of the tamahagane and as heir to this magic and as monk of the monastery he was trained since very early age in everything combat related, along with his ascetic and religious upbringing.

Magic Description: Tamahagane is a form of lost magic exquip used exclusively by the three great smith clans, created in ancient times to fight demons using divine magic secrets provided by their chief deitys, in the case of the osafune clan, takemikazuchi-no-mikami. The Tamahagane art is divided into four branches:
Shu (lit. Enfold) which allows the user to uses the basis of requip to fold space allowing the user to move items from their armory to them, fire them like bullets out of the portals or telekinetically manipulate their weapons.
Ten (lit. Envelop) which are abilities for manipulating the aura generated from their medallions in a myriad of ways such giving their aura the sharpness of a sword, using it’s to absorb impact forces and enhancing the user’s ability.
Ryu (Lit. Flow) which are martial techniques to wield swords such as technique to strike with blades for offensive or defensive purpose. Ryu can also be used for unarmed magical combat techniques, however these are somewhat limited by the martial ability of the user.
Ko (lit. Temper) which are ascetic abilities to enhance or modify existing blades temporarily such as increasing the length of a katana and manifest one’s kandachime or an elementally enchanted weapon element trough the weapon itself.
Tamahagane is known for its versatility as while is boast a relative small pool of spells, they are made to be combine into each other and be easy to personalize, allowing their users to create what is called their own Urashiki (lit. Hidden Style). At last, there is a fifth branch only shown by those who have mastered all 4 previous aspects; an ability unique to each Tamahagane user which is known as their Hatsu (lit. Release). One’s Hatsu is the culmination of their art and trump card which is unique to each user and is not limited by the restriction of the four main branches of the school. However, Hatsu's are usually very tiring on the user and can only be use a set amount of times.

As a magical ability, Izayoi’s hatsu allows him execute his ryu abilities with reduced cooldowns (lowering them to up to 1 turn cooldown), stamina cost and on top of that this ability works passively so it does not fatigue him but it is based on restriction and penalties that activate once invoked by name of the technique, while others are constantly active. Aside this boost, Choujin-ryu also affects Izayoi’s Urashiki, allowing him to count all his Urashiki variants as Ryu spells even if they are from other branches of the magic

Effect: Allow the user to increase and enhance their medallion’s aura giving the user natural armor and giving all their physical attack such as punches the same sharpness of a sword strike. However, the aura is not limitless and strong armor piercing strikes or a consecutive barrage of attacks can overpower the aura leaving the user defenseless. Also, focus play a large part in maintaining the ability as the user must consciously maintain it and must remove it to use other spells although this stops being an issue at higher ranks.
A note, if this spell is used on a medallion that has a higher rank than current spell rank of tesseiko allows it will not lower its defensive rank. For example, if an SS-rank medallion is used with this spell, it will keep that rank for armor but cut as whatever rank indicate in the spell.

Effect:Allows the user to manipulate their medallion’s aura as a means to absorb and redirect incoming kinetic energy freely. Ryusuiko was originally meant to be used defensively by using the aura to absorb the kinetic force of blows then redirect it into the ground, like a lightning rod. However, a practitioner of martial arts can make it into a dreadful offensive weapon as this user can redirect the kinetic force of their opponent into their own attacks, allowing for devastating counters and when used this way the spell name changes to Urashiki, Aiki (lit Hidden Style, Harmonious Spirit). The downside of using this technique are that this spell can only redirect kinetic energy, not magical force such as fire or lightning.

However, the true purpose of this spell is purification of kegare ,so it deals bonus damage to demons as only weapons augmented with harae can purify intra-planar demons and purify Kegare so it is an essential tool for any osafune priest. At first Namakura contented itself with enlarging its army and making it fight for its amusement against the village warriors but once the daemon saw Gouken, it attacked with a ferocity and speed that even the master of the Tamahagane could not match, there were no words said between them until the very end when Gouken was slain uttering his famous last word, but according to recounts, the malevolence and hatred that could be clearly felt in Namakura presence wasn’t just a demon wanting to destroy…it was a singular hatred of Gouken. The best theory we have is that Namakura was a failed kandachime or deceased one that was abandoned by Gouken and sought demonic strength to usurp him. This would further explain the cover up Steel has engaged with us, regardless of our promises of secrecy in the matter.
However, some of our agents, more versed in the occult, find this theory ludicrous. As the kandachime are among the holiest weapons known to mortalkin. Their steel is death to demons so no amount of demonic power could corrupt them thus they suspect actual corruption of the osafune themselves. is it because we pile memory upon memory and our brains simply can’t handle or because we simply choose to let go of them, not finding worth in them? I have asked myself that countless time. Why do lose things inside ourselves as time passes by like a wind of damnation, why do we chose to cling to recent bitter memories rather that the sweet nothings of an innocent childhood. Is our consciousness really that limited? Is our ego really that much as a species that we choose pain over comfort or perhaps it is just a biological function, a form of function over idle pleasure to ensure survival thus procreation and propagation of humanity
As I sit down here, at my clan’s temple, writing before the god’s gaze after that trying battle at Xia Village, memories begin to bombard me and I can help but to write them down as many men have done in this halls before me to stave off the forgetfulness of time. To engrave the memories of themselves before they disappear from within themselves. In my case, there are no memories I wish to have recorded for my own sake, I care not for the past myself yet I am an exceptional being; I can remember every day since around the age of 2 perfectly and to the smallest details thanks to mutations and gift bestowed upon by Otou-sama. My childhood life since I can recall is one long chain of the same events and questions over and over.
First wake up, as early as possible, no matter what what issues the day before might have left me.
Eat a meal, presented to me and not of my choosing. Usually involve a large helping of strange herbal regiments, foul tasting and mutagenic.
Bath my body in the waters of the grotto of our lady to numb my body. Pain is never an excuse.
Finally, meet one of the many masters of the temple. Fight until I have learned his/her art or fall.

The late evening is spent with family, with siblings and with Otou-sama, learning, reading and worshiping our god and our steel. I am good at this as well. My siblings are also talented but while I exceed them on the martial talents by leaps and bounds, they show no jealously toward me which I have found weird…the other children of the other clans do not hesitate to show jealously towards me, even in silence my senses can feel the kegare building around their hearts. They should focus more in their training like own siblings do and I am infinitely grateful to the gods for tes-ku and jun-chan. That’s why I lavish them with care, what very little I have, is theirs.
Te-kun always boisterous, even in failure, always ask me to teach him with an honest smile, even though as the eldest it should be him who should lead. His body is stronger than mine, no matter how hard I try but when it comes the art I am the superior and I share with every insight of it, te-kun is not very bright but none more faithful to the gods than him so he teaches about the gods as I train him with diligent patience through the night. Jun-chan is different, he is frail and requires much prodding to master the arts as te-kun, as while he hates daemon just as we do, he does not see the daemon to be born in others, he is too soft so I coddle him with petty things, an extra piece of candy or just some cuddling after a harsh session but my real gift is not this petty actions.
Rather than to let him waste in fears I offer my body up instead, I letting attack me with ferocity while disguising myself as a variety of demons during the night. And as expected of an osafune, he slays me every night, with my mortal shell barely holding to a thread but I soldier on, teaching the both through the night, letting them both keep to my pace, much to the ire of the other heirs and Otou-sama delight.
To me, martial arts are not difficult to learn OR teach. I am good brother because I am a good son that support my siblings, always. A good son supports his family with unconditional love. He never demands and is always willing to sacrifice for the greater good of the family, the clan.

As the years pass, they no longer need the nightly sessions so my burden is lessened my body heals but I know trough that long year in which I offered up my body and soul to them, that I love them. I cherished them in a way I had never felt before. Otou-sama never asked for me love, he only ask diligence in training. No matter how brutal the task and as long as preformed to expectation; he would provide for me, care for my wounds and praise me. Not once did I felt a need to demand nor give love to him. Only unending respect and admiration for that is the role of the disciple, to put his life in the hands of his master fully and resolutely. It is the sacred duty of the master to give his full and unblemished knowledge to his disciple so the cycle may continue on for the next generation.
I am a good disciple.
A martial artist is not immortal, his art is. Thus the great importance not just of creating an art that withstands the test of time, but also the great importance of the heir of the art itself. As a disciple I am told by my many mentors I am simply an existence beyond ‘human’ that I am so kind of divine gift or demi-god. I disagree strongly with this.
I am a human. I am a good son, I am a good brother, I am a good disciple. I would never put myself in the realm of god.
I am no demi-god. I am humble servant of god. That is a blasphemous title forced upon me and nothing else.
Trough that feeling I knew, that this was not duty that I felt or a sense of belonging, I loved my siblings genuinely and purely and for them I threw myself into my training with renewed vim for I knew that for the first time I truly understood the warm sensation that is love for not only I loved them, I knew their love resonated within their own love for me. An so continue the cycle as days of training, became months then years, each year more demanding, each task more difficult. Soon enough my siblings required aid, aid I could not give, I was a good brother yet even while I shared rations, wisdom and even my own blood. Their own shortcomings, they could not rely on me to overcome.
The first to fall was Te-kun.
Faced with a yuki-onna baring his mother’s face, he could not bring himself to slay her, no matter how much she begging him to be purified, that he should honor her blood as a strong osafune child she bore for her father. Te-kun, who longed for a mother’s love could not and to fail to slay a demon before you was a mark of weakness Otou-sama did not tolerate so he punished Te-kun severely, beating him as I watched and once Te-kun was once the border of the yomotsu itself did he stop, ignoring mine and jun-chan’s pleading for mercy. And for the first time I was a bad son, I struck father. I used my strongest fugen with my specialty, the gouken straight kick into his throat. A killing attack…
He laughed, catching my kick with ease then tossing me like a puppet into the air. Then punched me so hard with a sunkei I barfed my meager rations and rolled into the cold snow without stopping as I hit jun-chan with mine own body. His laugh was joyless and perhaps even insane but to us siblings it was always a sign of Otou-sama had caught us red handed and as expected…Otou-sama knew, he knew of all my actions, coddling, my teaching. He commended me for my killing intent and for my progress, and he did all this, while calling his own grandsons failures and wastes of his blood. Calling Te-kun a failure over his incapacity separate his feelings from his sacred duty as a warrior of the Osafune clan. He called Jun-chan a failure as well, for needing prompting into killing the impure from me. He goes on and on at how they had failed him just as his mother and son in law…how he killed them for their weakness, for choosing their children over their own duty, over completion and now that he had me, he no longer need them dulling me…and just as he drew his sword as Otou-sama full might bared on my siblings, I managed to stand on my own feet and pick tesuo’s own katana with one thought on my mind.

1. he is not working for them, his mother did and they are interested in recruiting him. and the bureau is not officially a part of the government. Think of them as S.H.I.E.L.D from marvel and how they recruit people to work for them

The foundation is basically a spoof of the SCP Foundation, and as i told you wasn't quite done with the world building so i am posting it now because i need to make it time for the sabertooth guild event so those there are merely place holders for the actual organizations. But in short the foundation are just a handy one way to give him villians to fight while the bureau a way for me to able to write izayoi in the various scenarios i have in mind for him in the future

Ko -連刃- Henkou (lit. Temper: Change & Shape) - (5)
This is a problem due to a few things. 1, change the range to self-contact, basically you should be physically holding said weapon to use a spell on it. 2, The ability to grant extra size to weapons AND repair is too great for a cooldown. I recommend either adding an extra post cooldown on it, or make it so that you either choose between enhancing the weapon OR repairing it.
This as we discussed before is a harder thing to consider. I understand your desire to remove cooldowns to zero for your other spells for this-- However, the rank lowering i'd suggest you make 3 instead of 2-- at least for its present rank.
The lines of the poem make no sense combat wise. Are you referring to a 'charging phase'? Please elaborate less on how the spell works IC and more how it would work on paper.
2. That's mostly my bad with the wording there, I cannot repair and augment weapons at the same time. it thought it was implied so I have just fixed that so its clear its only one of the two effects. and I have make it so its touch again.
