Theme The scent of nectar filling her nostrils invigorated and fueled her spiraling dance through the light purple flowers. Dark twisting trees reached up over her to form a canopy, but she did not mind. Light filtered down, and the ethereal butterflies floating around her did help illuminate her surroundings. Titania was aware of how weak she was left, and therefore was training herself to maintain her flow of magic through physical exertion. While her dancing may have seemed peaceful, she had been at it for roughly ten minutes now, therefore surely a workout. Her foot caught a root, causing her to gasp out and the shimmer of the butterflies to flicker and then return to normal luminescence. She loved it her, it felt like home in a way. Perhaps it was due to how old this place felt, almost as if laced with an ancient magic that made her feel like adventuring. The primal feeling was overwhelming, and she loved it. It was most likely a desire for her to experience what Earthland was really like, having only known about it through ear by the other long gone citizens of Lacheln. There were animals making sounds somewhere in the distance, and she wanted to approach. An old woman had spotted her before entering. She was walking with her children, and had seen her about to enter. With a cane extended, her raspy voice warned in a friendly tone. "Oh watch out now me ducky, the forest is some beautiful yes, but also quite dangerous if i'm to be honest with ya. Now I knows that since you're in that fancy little outfit of yours, you're probably on of 'em wizards, oh but what do I know, i'm just some old lady. Just watch out for yourself, what i'm after hearing of this place is that its not fit for nuttin." Titania had trouble understanding her at first, but giggled when she realized it was just a dialect. She had learned about those too, which made deciphering her gibber jabber all the more easier. Instead of replying, Titania nodded, but continued down the road. Ignored, the old woman sighed as the girl pranced out into the forest, leading to where she was now. Taking a break, Titania let the butterflies dissolve away as she sighed and took a set on a large mossy rock. With her magic-induced fatigue, this sitting posture eventually descended down over time until eventually turning horizontal, and therefore, to sleep. The sounds of birds comforted her as she dreamt of flowing rivers and bustling city streets. |

Veltis leaped onto another tree, the one he just jumped from splintering behind him. He reached out and grabbed onto a sturdy looking branch, using his arm as a sort of hinge he swung forward, his momentum carrying him several feet away from the monster he was running from. He hit the ground a quickly shifted into a roll before getting up and sprinting away from the very pissed off forest deity. He had agreed to this mission since he had heard it'd involve a forest god but apparently it was just some magical beast who really didn't like being stolen from. The thing chasing him was mostly made of rock and moss, standing at roughly fifteen feet tall the behemoths footsteps shook the ground. Veltis ducked and weaved through the foliage, vaulting over fallen trunks and doing his best to avoid getting tripped up by roots and plants. Birds scattered as he brought chaos through the forest. Eventually he'd have to face this beast since apparently he wasn't going to lose it easily. He kept running, slightly amused by this game of cat and mouse he had going with the woodland giant. He made his way up to the canvas of the forest once again, hopping from branch to brand with relative ease. On one leap he spun around in the air, firing off a rather powerful blast of magic that tore through the giant with ease, knocking the things head off and frying a group of birds that were unfortunate enough to have flown right into his blast. Veltis spun around to try and land but missed the branch he had aimed for, instead he crashed through a weaker branch and flew face first into a sleeping lady. With a hard crash Veltis' head connected with Titania's abdomen, probably forcing her off of her make shift bed and into a possibly painful down hill tumble with Veltis. When their tumble finally came to an end Veltis groaned in slight pain, trying to regain his barring and decide whether or not he should kill the women who had broken his fall. |

A once peaceful dream had been interrupted. No more was the land of wispy pinks and blues. Eyes opening, the world around her spun. Something had hit her stomach, with a gasp that searched for missing air soon following. While her world was indeed spinning, she could make out a head on her stomach, a head with white hair and creepy tattoos. Her arms flailed out for purchase as she tumbled like a rag doll down the forest hill. It was not a grassy slope, and instead, one of thick roots and hard rocks. Needless to say, her body had taken a beating on its way down. At the bottom, she groaned, confused but eager to know what happened. With her world still spinning, she planted one arm into the moss to prop herself up but failed at the pure dizziness clouding her senses. The overbearing feeling was enough to make her want to fall back asleep, as it was minimal while laying down. Attempting a look, she saw the masculine form and focused on the details. His bone structure would have been considered conventionally, save for the scars. Perhaps some women would have found him attractive. His hair was shockingly white, almost glowing in color. His cloaked outfit was peculiar but far less than hers. After the disgusting feeling had worn off, she stood up and brushed off her skirt and corset. Her hair was unblemished, thanks to the amount of product worn, it also acted almost like a helmet in how stiff and firm it was. With a deep breath, she laughed before inquiring. Her hand was up adjusting her hat before it came down to start tapping its fingers against her left cheek quizzaciously. "Oh, I must have fallen asleep. Were we playing a game, and did you just catch me? I don't remember you, but that's fine." |

Veltis rolled over and quickly hoped up, brushing dirt and twigs off of himself as he did. He examined the women who had so kindly broken his fall, sill debating whether or not he wanted to kill her for the hell of it. He studied her carefully, her magic rather pitiful compared to other Veltis had recently come into contact with. He supposed she was pretty by human standards, cute face and a curvaceous figure plus semi indestructible hair. He stared at her coldly, waiting for her to speak as she brushed herself off. He didn't know what to expect, but what he got was less then impressive. She sounded aloof, air headed. No they weren't playing a game.... why would she think they were? Maybe she was joking, if so then it wasn't very a funny and it went right over Veltis's head. Then again most human jokes did, he didn't find them funny at all. Why did they just start dying if laughter every time a stupid cat did something cat like. It didn't make sense at all. "I'm not somebody most people forget" Veltis stated smugly, stepping towards her he raised his hand in an attempt to knick her chin slightly. A disturbing smile spread across his face as ideas began to shoot through his head. He could use her as bait. He needed more of those giant egg things and he needed a distraction that'd let him slip past the rock giants with little to no trouble.... the last thing he needed was another wild chase through the woodland. "And I think I'd remember a pretty face like your's" Veltis stated smoothly, still studying her. His tongue might have well been forked and coated in silver, he had no interest in how she looked really. But he needed to act like he did to try and get her to trust him. And he was pretty convincing, his silver tongued and flirtatious lies were what had gotten him kicked out of Pakao in the first place. If it worked on a princes then surely it'd work on this.... human. |

Titania couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. Was this one of those things where the guy admires the body of a female? His malevolent eyes were scanning up and across her figure, she did not feel sleepy anymore. Instead, she felt threatened. This man was more than likely a mage, one certainly possible of killing her. Titania had not yet mastered her powers and therefore was at the mercy of this odd man's whims. "I'm not somebody most people forget" She frowned, unsure. While he was certainly conventionally attractive, the only thing she would have known to be distinguishing was his appearance. Titania had not dreamed of this man, she would have definitely remembered his menace. Perhaps it was a nightmare, a premonition from the Arcane? No, she did not have those powers, that was not it. "...........I'm...... Asleep so often sometimes reality gets blurred. Don't worry though, I probably just saw someone with your features in a dream." With his smile, each and every nerve in her body recoiled at the uncanny expression. This was not right, something was wrong. Quickly, she counted her fingers, knowing it was a technique to see if one was dreaming. She counted five, but she was still not sure. This forest did not feel right, nor did the man who stood tall and frightening before her. His tongue was not human, no- he could not have been human. The rivers of Arcana had taught her what a human was, this was not one. Titania needed to be careful, these were uncharted territories. Her previous time in Earthland was without stress, due to her already developed bank of knowledge on the world, and she had nothing prepared for him. He seemed to be romantically advancing on her, she'd play along, for now anyway. "That is very kind, thank you.......... Have I upset you? Sorry............ I'm not well practiced in etiquette, it's very unbecoming." |
