This was already to be a disturbing day for Hikari. She woke up in pain. Human bodies were a pain and hard to handle. How could humans go on like this? Luckily for her sister she did not have to deal with these kind of pains. Sometimes her body would hurt more when they walked past some good smells. She just didn't understand why something good would hurt like that? It was making her almost want to cry but she was trying so hard not to for her sister. Mornings were one of Ana's favorite times of days. With Hikari sleeping now it made it so that Ana was alone for several hours of the day and she didn't like it. Not that there was anything she could do about it. She could not sleep like Hikari and trying to keep Hikari up was so much worse of an idea. Something was wrong with Hikari though and Ana could not put her finger on it. Her face was trying to be happy and she was sure that she was to a degree. The flowers would brighten up Hikari's face so she was enjoying what they were doing but there was something that neither of them understood. It had only been a few days since they were free from their old living home. Hikari had been feed but she still didn't understand what food was and even though Ana ate too. Food did nothing for her so she couldn't understand what was going on. Though Hikari's movements were a lot slower then Ana's. She was assuming it had something to do with being trapped in the machine. It did make it hard on Ana though as she would at times speed ahead of her sister and then look back and see too much distance between the two. Which as going on now. Though this was for multiple reasons. Hikari's and Ana's senses were different. Though Ana could technically taste and smell they were no where near human standards. It made smelling things a chore and not usually enough to factor into things and eating made most foods bland or least all the ones she had tried so far. This was causing a problem for the duo as Hikari had never used her senses before so she would get distracted by any kind of scent or taste she could find, even if it wasn't always a good one. Currently Hikari was smelling a tree. The area that they currently were in there were lot of trees but this one was different. It was a pine tree that must have been planted by someone else as the common trees were definitely a different kind of tree. Though now it was putting distance between the two because they didn't necessarily need conversation so they would at times get slightly apart like they were now. They were in a nice sized park in Poinsettia. It was a couple acres big and was on the north side of town. The weather was a little chilly which Hikari didn't like and there was a bit of a mist on the ground. |
