Swish, swish The sound of a broom swaying back and forth across the floor and the soft sandalled footsteps of the diminutive red haired magician was all that could be heard at that early hour in Poinsettia's greatest landmark, the Blue Pegasus guild house. It couldn't be helped, though - any other time of day and the activity would have made it impossible to do this sort of work, due to the sheer activity of the guild's livelier membership and frequent guests. Speaking of guests... she was expecting one not long from now. Well, perhaps guest wasn't the right word. After all, she was a fellow member of the guild, though she had doubtlessly been quite busy lately, as Sierra herself had been. When Sierra had heard that Reggie would be returning some time that morning, Sierra had volunteered to assist with early morning housekeeping for an excuse to meet up with her. It wasn't as if she wasn't good at that sort of thing anyway, and everything was already prepared for the morning's breakfast that would come a few hours later. "I wonder how she's been... that boyfriend of hers has certainly been keeping her busy, lately," Sierra mused with a giggle, before the swishing sound of a broom passing along the floor continued. Sierra could still remember the excitement on her blonde friend's face when she had told Sierra about him, and it brought a faint smile to Sierra's own. It was good that her friend had found a little happiness. It was a rare enough thing in the world as it was. At any rate, there wasn't much more cleaning left to do, and then she could take a break for a while. Maybe she'd hear word of Reggie by then. |

Reggie came back to Poinsettia after her weekend date with Toshiro. It was a fun getaway. They went to secluded lake nearby a small village. The lake was very lovely at night at the moonlight somehow made its surface glistened. It was very romantic. They had a night stroll along the lake and somehow had a bit of a dip. She couldn't help but smiled as she remembered every bit of it. Her carriage finally came to the town. It was quite early. But there were already people who were stirring outside their homes, turning off the street lamps and sweeping the front of their shops and homes. it was a long time since she had gotten here this early. Usually, Toshiro would bring her here around lunch. But since he got a special assignment, she parted ways with him from that small village. Reggie understood the nature of his job very much as she's a wizard herself too. And when she was still Miss Fiore, Toshiro had been very understanding to her. The carriage arrived at the guild hall where a butler was waiting. He opened the door gently and assisted Reggie out. "Thank you Sebastian!" She said and smiled at him as she took his hand. She went down the carriage slowly as her heels finally reached the smooth pavement of the way towards the guild hall. The staffs had been very caring for her since her dethronement. She knew Mistress Mai must've told them to do it. But she didn't dare object as she knew it would upset her mistress. She entered the guild hall and saw a familiar red hair. Sierra was sweeping the floor in the lobby with her back on Reggie. The blonde wizard cautiously approached her silently, without no sound at all as she would suddenly pat her back and yelled. "Hey!" She said as she smiled at her. |

Her work was going quietly - of course it was, with most of the city still in bed, and most of the guild's early birds were out of town for one reason or another. The tranquility of early morning birdsong was broken by the sound of a carriage arriving, which could ultimately only mean a very small number of things - a wealthy guest, the guildmaster, or... well, the person she had been expecting in the first place. It wasn't difficult to guess which one of the three it was likely to be. For now, she decided that she would pretend that she hadn't noticed while she finished up the last vestiges of sweeping that needed to be done. It was relaxing, in it's own way, going through the rhythmic, repetitive motions, though she knew that many felt otherwise. Well, what others thought was rarely a good criteria for deciding on whether you liked something or not in the first place, anyway. Judging by the fact that she couldn't hear her blonde friend's approach - and she usually could, what with how Reggie seemed to love fancy clothes and shoes - Sierra came to a rather straightforward conclusion. She was up to some kind of prank and was sneaking around rather than announcing herself. "Good morning, Reggie." Sierra greeted her friend offhandedly a half-beat before the blonde's hand reached her shoulder. Hm. It looked like her timing was off a little. Settling the broom to rest against a small coffee table, she turned and met her friend with a hug. "I know it's been pretty busy, but how've you been? We don't get to see each other very often, do we?" |
