I'd like to point out that you have 0 TP earned. You do realize that you earn TP for every 10SP you gain when you have tier 1 magic? So you'd have: 131/10=13 TP earned still. Just pointing that out. Not to mention the 3 starting TP. Which btw needs documentation. Just like all other TP. Phantasmal Pedigree -- I'm still not seeing a valid reasoning for your magic to be unarchivable. DD: Matter -- Mediocre isn't a damage rating. |

I actually thought that I would have to re-earn all the earned TP and could only have the bought TP from the harvest during character creation from what Popo and Aura said during the grading for the harvest. Your clarificatory comment just made my day, Ina; thanks a bunch! *hugs Ina* (>=w=)> EDIT: Haha, I accidentally clicked 'Post' before I managed to say that I edited the portions and made it clearer that Phantasmal Pedigree changes Nero's thought processes to allow him to fathom the hyper-complex calculations required for proper use of his magecraft. Thus, it makes it even more important for Phantasmal Pedigree to be active to prevent any Oculus Dei tech from exploding on him. ( =w= ) Edited by heiner777, Oct 21 2016, 10:37 PM.

Well, okay then; since that is the case, I changed my approach on how Phantasmal Pedigree works and instead made it as a counter against Archive Magecraft. It should work now, hopefully. ( =w= ) |

Didn't make it work at all. Your whole magic is based around matter. While an archive is using their archive analysis, they are merely looking at you, and your technique, and analyzing/storing it. There is no matter at all in such a technique. Besides which, you are attempting to not only disable archive analysis, you are also attempting to disable the caster's magic in any form for a period of time. That's. Not going to happen. And I just don't see this tech working the way you want. It's not like you'd automatically know an archive mage when you saw one (unless you Meta'd the hell out of it, which I doubt you'd do.) And again, for OOC reference, our archive mages are not dicks. They don't take without asking. |

You cannot counter Archive Mages ever unless you have a technique that creates a zone that prevents any magic spells/sensory spells from working. And in that case, that wouldn't fit your magic. |

Yeah, I know, Ina; FTG is filled with pleasant and decent people who just want to write stories with others. It is just that I would have wanted that Anti-Archive tech as both a nod and, quite recently, for an Arc I am working on which involves causing a bit of friction with Lamia Scale's Archive mages. Thus, I wanted something to justify the whole funny scenario where things basically go: "Oh, feel free to get my techniques in exchange for information about– OH MY GOSH DID YOUR HEAD JUST EXPLODE BECAUSE I WAS TOO SMART FOR YOU?! Sorry about that; here, try aga–HOLY CRAP IT HAPPENED AGAIN! I think I should just write the formula down..." part. In any case, thank you very much for your insightful comments. I guess locking out Archive and making them explode is a no-go then, so instead, I just took the hint you guys gave. As such, since I cannot stop the journalists from writing on their notepads, the next best thing is to kill the journalists and burn their notepads before the story gets published. Your magic stat should be 60(90) not 70 since magic stops moving up in increments of ten when it reaches r4.... This is the scale on increase since I can not remember it and would not like you to have my same struggles R2:10 R3:20 R4:30 R5:50 R6:70 R7:90 R8:120 R9:150 R10:180 The values above are the total amount of SP needed which is expressed in the parenthesis of the magic stat. So if you want r7 magic you'll need to have 90 sp in the stat, atm you'd be getting r6 magic and it's look like 50(70) |

The guide says that the bare minimum of Rank 7 is to have a magic stat of 60(70) though. I am confused now. ( @_@ ) |

I will just take your word for it at this point since you went out of your way to point it out and the math makes sense. Whichever one is correct, I hope you guys edit the Magic Guide accordingly since, if ever, the numbers do not add up. |
