Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. [tabs][tab=Description]Nero, much like his biological clone, is an extremely handsome young man with silky raven-black hair mostly styled to a modern shag haircut. His physique is likewise matched to his twin, a typical body type for an athletic young man who practices Mixed Martial Arts and Parkour almost daily, with a height of 5’7” that is complimented by a constant weight range which hangs around 140lbs. to 143lbs.

He has a paler skin tone than most, a trait which only adds an enigmatic appeal to the young man since it serves to heighten the effect of his black hair in an almost hypnotic display of near-perfect color play of contrasts. As to favored colors, Nero’s choices are inverse to his twin’s, typically limited to dark colors such as red and black, with the occasional use of white when the situation calls for it, and has been known to deviate from these sets, albeit reluctantly, if he finds it necessary.

Apart from his raven hair and pale skin, Nero’s most striking physical attribute may be his eyes; an amalgamation of rarities which medical professionals deem as a one-in-a-billion chance. Official medical records list Nero as possessing an extremely rare case of heterochromia, with the two colors which compose it a combination of even rarer color palettes: gold and crimson for the right and left eye, respectively. Unofficially, it serves as Zephyrus’ personal touch – a reminder of his mixed heritage – a combination of Zephyrus and Vento’s DNA to create a unique mix to produce an entirely new being and the true, biological son of Zephyrus Aureo.

As his own peculiarity, while Vento has an inexpressive visage, Nero's seems to permanently be set in an expression of utmost serenity with a faint smile on his face no matter how serious or dire the situation may be around him. In fact, should he change this expression for any reason at all, it usually indicates that something extremely important to him happened.[/tab]

[tab=Personality]Almost similar to his brother’s personality, Nero remains a largely enigmatic character who rarely reveals his true state of mind to anyone apart from those people chooses. He is normally a stoic and aloof young man who seems to have his head floating way above the clouds and oftentimes prefers to be on his own than to spend time with others. However, unlike his twin who does things based on necessity, Nero's motivation is purely out of a whimsical nature, and as such he is able to rebound quickly and rarely allows himself to remain stuck in a particular frame of mind which allows him to be a total misanthrope at one point in time and a charismatic leader in the next. This makes him impossible to read and very difficult to put tabs on.

When in potentially dangerous situations, Nero is able to keep a clear head and actually prefers these high risk situations since he is actually able to function better’ in those types of scenarios. This is the reason why he likes the thrill which Parkour brings whenever he jumps from rooftop to rooftop in an attempt to strengthen his body to achieve near-impossible feats of physical exertion. This almost suicidal tendency to pursue his passion is both his weakest and strongest point, and Zephyrus understands that it is just simply his child’s way of expressing himself considering the circumstances by which he was born.

Apart from those, the true portion of his psyche which is uniquely Nero's is his normally flippant, almost effete manner of dealing with things as if he views everything as a trivial matter that should hardly be considered serious; a mindset that could be described as one belonging to one who looks down upon humanity itself from a realm beyond the world. It is wholly unintentional and just comes out naturally that owes to the young man's deeper understanding of life, death, and the intricate connection among all things as a result of having a consciousness that has both experienced both spectra in their fullest extent.

While some people refer to his mien as 'enlightened', most will simply just call it 'irresponsible'. Still, it is because of this rather wishy-washy manner of dealing with the world around him that he holds no grudges toward anyone and never gets truly angry, while his bouts of seriousness are far and few between as it would take a lot to make him act seriously. Moreover, in the rare occasions where Nero does choose to actively apply himself, they are always moments to be remembered.

[tab=History]Nero did not always have a name. In fact, as far as he could remember, his days were spent inside a thick glass tube in an underground research facility, suspended in an orange-colored liquid that was, in his own words, 'like water, but tastes like urine'. He was only known as 'Subject 13' – a mere number – and the closest anyone had for a name for his was ‘Nero' – Black, in the ancient script; as if mocking his creation as both a wonder and an affront against nature. In the few times someone actually referred to his as a being, he was told that he was a test subject created by the Boscans under the command of Zephyrus Aureo as an experiment ‘for the betterment of humanity’.

Day after day, he was cultivated and tested like a laboratory rat; and every time he felt more of a budding sense of self with every passing day, but he did not mind; it was something he had already grown accustomed to since, as far as he could remember, that was the way it had always been for him. Soon enough, however, he began to steadily hate his life and hate everyone around him. He was simply tired that he had always done what he was told, and continued to do so even after his changing psyche gifted him with something more than self-awareness, albeit ended up hating himself more for it. Nevertheless, he knew it was a better alternative than being punished for disobeying orders – those electric shocks the scientists gave him whenever he was not performing the way they wanted his to.

As time passed and Nero continued with his mundane existence, he never knew when the feelings started to bubble past the point where he could ignore it as eventually, deep inside his primitive soul, Nero longed to be free – free from the timeless prison he had been living in and free from the bitter isolation he forced himself to ignore if only to stay sane all that time. As if sensing his sudden change in mood, his father came to him and bestowed upon him a mysterious power. He called it a 'Heart', something Nero did not know, but Zephyrus simply cast his doubts aside by giving it to his son regardless. It changed Nero and made him almost mature instantaneously; his 'trivial' thoughts replaced by a kind of understanding that went beyond human accommodation.

Eventually, his strong sentiments bore another voice inside of him, and for the first time in his life, he wanted to move—

A one-of-a-kind magecraft created by imbuing the essences of life and death into the magic system of the person, allowing the individual to create or destroy all types of matter and ether clumps present in the space within his area of influence where his magic can manifest at any specific point therein (spell formation speed dependent on Accuracy). However, rather than being any particular magic that works on any standard and non-standard magical theory (Elemental, Spiritual, Enhancement, etc.) that could be learned, it is an inherent magecraft born to Nero Angelo Aureo by reason of his Phantasmal Pedigree.

When using Oculus Dei, Nero can identify the design and composition of all matter around him (of the same Rank/Class), then using the magecraft, break down the structure in its entirety. For constructs composed of ether clumps such as Spells, Nero may sabotage them by transmuting just a portion, causing the spell sequence to fall apart and explode as soon as it is cast. For material constructs, he can break them down and push the degeneration process even further to turn matter into raw energy, causing untold amounts of damage when used at the highest level. If used on a person, the parts that form the human body, it can cause damage equivalent to the power of the magecraft itself.

Apart from being able to deconstruct matter and ether clumps, Nero can also restructure and re-purpose matter and ether clumps using his magecraft, allowing him to revise the physical form of an item or repair damage on any object which is capable of restoration.[/tab]

A Spell that gives Nero the ability to manipulate matter on material constructs (A-Class and lower) or the ether clumps in magical constructs (Rank 7 or lower) he comes into contact with, allowing him to freely manipulate their molecular bonds thus enabling him to restructure the same into a new shape or form, endowing it with characteristics below or beyond what their natural bonds usually have.

Versatile as it is, the skill, however, is limited by the material itself in that an object or spell made of a particular substance or element can only be transmuted into another with the same molecular makeup and properties of that initial material (cannot alter the inherent Class of an Item or the Rank of a Spell). In other words, something made of water would always be made of water, but nothing prevents Nero from solidifying the water by causing the loose H2O molecules to come together with the level of solidity going from loose jelly to metal-like hardness and beyond (A-Class).

Apart from its inability to alter the inherent strength of items and ether clumps, another notable limitation is that it cannot affect living organisms. Lastly, where large quantities of transmutable material or ether clumps are present in a given space, the effect of the skill can only extend to affecting their molecular structures within a limited area (5m x [Rank]).

A Spell that allows Nero the ability to transmute matter-based constructs he comes into contact with, decomposing them into their base states. In its current degree of effectiveness, Nero can decompose the atomic bonds of a majority of items, armor, and other solid constructs ([Armor Breaker] | A-Class, Dent | Rank-4 on [Armor Break]), vaporizing them outright; or cause critical damage against mortal targets. When used on large material constructs, the effects are contained to within a limited area (5m x [Rank]).

An Absolute Territory Spell that gives Nero the ability to turn his immediate area into a veritable minefield through the selective transmutation ether clumps in the atmosphere, changing them into a volatile and hyper-charged form that manifests as a sudden blue 'blaze' that engulfs any single target or a two-meter (2m) radial target area, dealing critical pure magic damage to the same. Moreover, Nero can manifest this skill at any point within a ten-meter (10m) radius from himself, thus allowing for a mode of attack not reliant on visual recognition or even the presence of a valid target to execute since all he needs to know are the spatial coordinates of where he wants to manifest this skill to make use of it.

This skill is capable of breaking through magical barriers ([Barrier Breaker]), but functions slightly differently. When up against lower-ranked barriers, the skill can simply bypass the barrier itself and manifest inside the same; if against equal-ranked barriers, the 'blaze' may still ignore the barrier itself, but the potential damage is reduced (by three Ranks, to a minimum of Rank 1); and when against a higher-ranked barrier (by one Rank), the skill will only manifest on the barrier itself, destroying the same, and causing no further damage by itself.[/tab]

  • Clean-Shaven Sage: Despite looking quite unlike a typical sage, Nero is nevertheless an extremely intelligent young man with peerless knowledge over all aspects including the true nature of life and death itself. Nero's understanding of the world and the concepts within it is deep and intimate as the circumstances of his birth indirectly allowed him the privilege to experience the Void, and in doing so, access the limitless knowledge contained beyond the boundaries of life itself. Having thus learned the root of all things through his 'Heart', Nero has intricate knowledge over every subject and discipline. The only thing that limits him from performing is his own mortal shell and thus is only able to perform up to the operational thresholds of his body.

  • Champion of Chill: No matter the situation, Nero is always cool and calm as if panic and fear are incapable of existing inside of him. He approaches things in his own pace knowing that his efforts would not be able to change the outcome of something if circumstances point to its inevitability. As such, even in the face of certain death, the young man never loses his composure, at least, on the outside.

  • In-Your-Face-Reader: As easily as he can read tomes and texts with bedazzling ease, Nero can make near-accurate assessments of people based on their facial expressions and body language. They are not always correct, but more often than not, it allows the young man to be read the atmosphere with near-perfect accuracy. It works perfectly well when poking fun at another's expense.

  • Genre Savvy: He is an avid reader of hot trends and topics, keeping abreast of them at any given time. He knows every simple plan is doomed to failure from the start and instead of participating, usually just tends to sit back, have his contingencies ready, and wait knowing how things would likely pan put even before it happens. No puppeteer is going to control him; he can tell fairly early that the strange old man who's offering free lollipops is probably best avoided; and have read enough horror novels to know that splitting up is the last thing he wants to do. Still, he does it with his usual Nero flair, so it is hard to take him seriously.

  • Smooth Scholar: Due to his quirks, most people view him as a questionably sane man at best, whose often humorous mumbling and random dance jigs being taken as a form of coping mechanism than actual inputs to contribute to any conversation; a point of view inevitably taken if one could so easily discuss the existential theories of man and the universe as a whole while munching on biscuits and gummy bears, and actually make sense afterwards. Still, whatever he does, Nero still goes about it as smoothly and cleanly as possible.

  • Tricky Two-Timer: With two hands comes twice the trickiness, as Nero's ambidextrous nature allows him to manipulate either side of his digits with just as much style and proficiency as the other. Call it a mental trauma from a past life or just a general cautionary mindset in the off chance that a giant demon-rabbit mauls him for some strange reason; right or left, left or right, it does not matter to Nero since he can go either way.

Moving this back to WIP for now as purchase is pending, and you don't seem quite finished here. Not sure why it's in CC proper at all really. o.o

Also, when you make your purchases, you'll need to add them into the app, as well as doing the math on what you have/don't have monies and AP wise.

- I get that you're trying to make this so Archive can't get at it, but you need to understand that unless the magic is inherently passive or a technique which has special permission sets (i.e a separate form to use), this isn't going to work. Not only that, but you would have to activate this before every single technique usage.

- Examples of what cannot be Archived: A TO form, or something inherent to said form (can't replicate a wolf's fur for armor, for example) And anything DS unless they say it's cool cause DS magic.

- Examples of what can be Archived: Nearly anything else, with exception being a passive as before stated.

- Personal opinion here but! Most archive mages are not butts, and will not copy your techs without your express permission. So it's a waste of a TP imo. You also have the option of just not threading with them, if it troubles you to this extent.

Destroy Decomposer
- This has waaay too much going on at once. So far I count
  • A shield
  • A camouflage tech
  • An offensive (damaging people) tech
  • and an item damaging tech.


- While I get that you're trying to all in one this, you can't. You have to separate a lot of that out into their own things.

- There would be nothing with, in example, making other techs that combine with this one to give you all this jazz later on, just with slightly more work.

- You can have the double offensive in there, but you need to make the shield and camouflage their own things please.

Thanks for the insight, Ina; I highly appreciate it. *hugs Ina* (>=w=)>

Phantasmal Pedigree is more of a fluff technique more than anything; a nod to Vento who was an Archive Mage before and now a part of Nero through. A waste of TP it may be, but if possible, I would like to keep it and have made the necessary editions to make it so. Now Nero has to activate the sorcery trait before using Oculus Dei lest he risk such techniques blowing up in his face.

As for Destroy Decomposer, I separated them into two categories; one for matter-based constructs and one for ether-based constructs. Thus, DD is no longer a Swiss Army knife tech and is now focused on specific functions, like you asked. (-^_^-)

-This is a armor breaking technique? If so, I would like for you to state armor and not just construct. You can add that it does [Rank-4] damage whenever you break armor.

Oculus Dei - TL;DR it is transmutation magecraft; taking one thing and turning it into another: Solid to Liquid, to Gas, to Pure Energy, and back again; that sort of thing, but with both matter and magic. Think Alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Phantasmal Pedigree - Without going into technicalities, simply put, the magecraft can transmute matter and magic, deconstructing and reconstructing them at his whim. That skill, however, must follow a certain magic formula to produce the intended effect. Only Nero has that formula since he is literally a magic formula in human form; and like in math, without the right formula, you get the wrong answer; in this case, when you get the wrong answer, you get hurt.

As for the others, done.
