Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

"But learning them would mean actually sitting down and studying..... I haven't done that ever, plus USUALLY I'm with Mago so it's not something I worry about.... especially since he rarely needs to communicate secretly. He's a more straight forward kind of guy" Fukumura explained with a mouth full of chicken. He looked at her and decided he'd further argue for her to accept his money.... after all he didn't like being in debt. "But the brilliant thing about the card is its untraceable, it literally turns into jewels straight from our vault.... But if you still say no then I guess it can't be helped" Fukumura shrugged and downed a glass full of Butter Beer.

A loud thumb from upstairs interrupted their oh so pleasant conversation about money. Fukumura looked up worried but was not ready to leave his delicious food just yet..... It was most likely just another one of the customers. Whatever it was, it wouldn't be interrupting his dinner.

Mago just stayed silent and kept his guard up. She had a point, but he wasn't going to let her know that he was doubting himself. His face remained stagnant, and quite angry looking. But his eyes must have tipped her off as to why he was ready to fight in his condition. She explained what had happened and how he had ended up here, but failed to mention where exactly here was. As long as he wasn't in the custody of the Knights then it was all good. He slowly lowered his guard but held her gaze. His eyes were cold and collected now, he was safer then he originally thought but that doesn't mean he was out of the woods. After all he still had a hole in his stomach...

When Snow commented about Fukumura, Mago just sighed and winced in pain. "It'd be a waste of breath...." Mago stated dryly. He examined the lady in front of him, he didn't know who she was but he knew she was dangerous. Call it a sixth sense Mago had picked up over his time as a criminal, but he had a knack for gauging somebody's ability to fight. Snow held herself like a warrior, proud and fierce. Her eyes burned with a certain fire that Mago sometimes saw in his self.... But she wasn't his enemy. Not yet at least.

Mago struggled back to the bed and sat down slowly, wincing with every movement. He placed a hand over his wound as he walked, something done instinctively. His hand wouldn't help with the pain but it didn't make it worse so he kept it there. He felt s few of the stitches further unravel as he sat down. He ignored most of the pain and general fatigue he was having, his face remaining static for the most part. He layer back, grunting in pain as he did so and waited for the lady to sew him up for the second time.

Snow offered a smirk as the man explained about his friend downstairs. Oh well. At least they seemed to know each other well. More to the point, he was sitting back down as she had directed. "At least you're not dead. Yet. Now try to sleep and I will see what I can do later to get those gashes healed faster. They got you good. I'd be more careful next time." She didn't say anything about how very likely it seemed that they had been set up. Unless one of them had just done something unbelievably stupid. Remembering the kid downstairs she thought that might be a possibility. But she didn't say anything.

She covered Mago up with the blanket on the end of the bed after he lay back, and fluffed his pillows. "I'll see what kind of magic I have laying around to help with all that pain. Til I find something, I need you to be still. Stitching you up while you're unconscious is one thing. I doubt you'd enjoy the experience mostly conscious." She gave him a pat and headed back down the stairs to wait on him to sleep. She could have already healed him of course. It was within her range of magic to do so. She just didn't like the thoughts of how she had to go about healing people. A mental shudder was enough to remind her why that would be weird with some strange guy she barely knew. Let alone one that was mostly conscious.

So she moved as quickly as she could down the stairs, to inform the boy that his friend yet lived. "He's up and moving. Or was. I made him get back in the bed before he could rupture his stitches. But don't worry, he will live. At least until morning so long as he keeps listening." Out in the night all sounds of the Knights had faded completely away. Now she needed to wait until much later to figure out what her next move would be. She had no doubt they would come knocking on her door, sooner rather than later, and she needed to get some sleep. They would hardly believe she hadn't been up to something, as a nice clean business owner, if she was so silly as to grump at them.

"I'm off to find my bed. I will see you tomorrow. If you wish to go sit with your friend, you may. Just don't irritate him, or mess with the bandages. If he tries to get up, let me know. My room is the third one down the hall, on the right." She was walking as she talked, a yawn interrupting her words as she made it halfway through. She could usually put up with staying up late better, but the bottle of whiskey she had been nursing hadn't exactly helped her to be more wakeful.

She found her bed just as she had left it. With a letter requesting employment in the middle of it, and a pile of people she had already rejected pushed to the side of it. Now she just threw herself in the middle, not paying attention to the pieces of paper she displaced with the movement. Snow was snoring gently within the hour, her door locked securely behind her, and her ears still perked for any sounds of pursuit of her new guests.

Mago just grunted in acknowledgement. He didn't try to sit up, it'd do more bad then good. He just accepted that he'd need to sleep here, even if he disliked the fact that his life was in the hands of somebody he didn't know. But maybe that was better, since most of the people he knew were killers and thugs. He turned his head s that he could get a better view of the lady who was patching him up. He crooked an eyebrow at her last comment. "Well I don't sleep easy nowadays so guess I gotta suck it up" Mago half joked, then watched her leave the room. With a sigh Mago resigned himself to the fact that he wouldn't be getting any sleep. His wound just hurt to much. He stared blankly up at the ceiling, it was going to be a long night.

Downstairs Fukumura had finished his meal. He just waited for Snow to return and drummed his fingers on the table. When Snow finally returned she had good news. Fukumura relaxed a little and sighed all of his angst away. "I'll steer clear of his room, it'd just be a source of stress for him if I was around." Fukumura spoke lightly. His eyes were heavy and his throat hurt. It had been a long day, or more accurately a long afternoon. The fighting bit had gone by rather quickly but it seemed like days had passed since Fukumura had been dragging Mago away from the site of the battle. "But yeah night..... I'll stay down here make sure we don't get any surprise visitors.... I'm sure that'd be bad for business.... anyway. Night" Fukumura watched as she made her way up the steps then set his head down and almost instantly passed out.

Fukumura's dreams were all over the place. He didn't pay to much attention to them, after all he was still half awake for most of the night. His sleep was uncomfortable and every little sound woke him up. Whether it was the sound of a toilet flushing, or the simple creek of the floorboards above him. When morning finally came Fukumura awoke to the sound of somebody coming down the steps. There were two people in the room with him now. They were most likely just regular people on vacation or something. Fukumura didn't see Snow anywhere, but if she was the only owner of this inn then she'd probably be up and about by now.

He stood up and nodded at the two people who had come down the steps, then walked by them and up the steps. He made sure nobody was around and then entered the secret room where Mago was. Assuming he was asleep, Fukumura tiptoed his way across the floor as to avoid waking him. "What're you doing...." Mago managed, turning his head so that he could get a better look at Fukumura. The white haired mage jumped about five feet into the air, not expecting anybody to talk. "Jeepers creepers you spooked me Scoob" "What?" "Nothing.... glad to see you're alive" "Meh" "Anything you need? Coffee? Water? A sexy nurse?" "A newspaper" "Uhhh.... but it's dark in here....." "Turn on the light.... just go find a newspaper. It's Sunday isn't it?" "Yeah yeah.... I'm sure we made the front page..... hope no one here recognizes me..... anyway I'll go get that nurse for you, and a news paper." Fukumura peaked through a crack in the door then walked out into an empty hallway.

Third one on the right... that's what Snow had told him right? Well hopefully that was, else somebodies beauty sleep would be getting interrupted. Fukumura knocked on the door, swaying back and forth. She might not even be in there, but it was a start,.... better then running around the halls shouting her name.

Honesty without tact is cruelty.

Snow awoke to the sound of someone tapping on her door. As she came into wakefulness she remembered all about the night before. She had the start of a headache, and she was sure that her patient was likely close to healed and ready to be up and about by now. That salve that she used worked wonders, even on a wound as deep as his. She had little doubts as to who was knocking. Not least because she could smell him even through the door. "Just a second." Then she stood and stretched, making sure that she was decently enough clad to see visitors before opening her door.

There stood Fukumura, just as she had suspected when she cracked open the door. No one was standing in the halls, so she walked out and shut her door behind her. He said something about a newspaper and someone needing to go play nurse to Mago. With a nod, Snow went that way, opening the door and closing it behind her discreetly. "Morning." She hadn't had any coffee and that tended to make her a little more brisk with people in the mornings. Hell she hadn't even had time to stretch properly. Now she walked over and gently peeled back the bandages she had been so careful with only the night before.

"It's healing up well enough. You should be able to move around a bit today. Which is in your favor, since you should likely be installed in one of the proper guest rooms. It's a pain in the ass trying to get in here in the daylight without someone noticing." Luckily, the room next door to this little sanctuary was more than apt for just this purpose. She kept it empty, so no one would not that there were strange noises coming through the walls on occasions like this. No sense in taking more risks than absolutely necessary. "You'll still need to go a little slowly, and I will have to put another bandage on it before nightfall, but all should be well by tomorrow. The sutures are holding up quite nicely."

Snow sighed and opened the little door again, wondering where this one's friend had gotten to. She could use his help in moving the patient, but she wasn't about to wait forever to do so. So, instead she turned back to Mago, after making sure all was clear. "All right, come on. Stand up and walk slowly. I will be behind you to keep you from falling. If anyone asks why you're going so slowly, I will simply tell them you're a patron who is still drunk from last night that I found passed out in the bar. Throw this shirt over your head as well." She tossed him a large black shirt which she kept in a drawer by the bed. It would probably hang on him, even though he was decently tall. It was meant to do so, in order to cover bandages and the like.

Once out in the hall, she would open the guest room door. The room itself was much larger than the one she had been keeping him in, and she gave him the key without a thought. "Make yourself comfortable. You're welcome to come down for breakfast if you wish, though I wouldn't recommend leaving the Inn anytime soon."

And with that she turned on her heel to go find some coffee for herself, and begin cooking for those awaiting their breakfast downstairs.
