Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

As Magnolia drew closer Vivian remained impassive, but internally her excitement was growing. This would be the first time in her year here that she would get to see a large city. While she preferred the woods as a home, forests were sorely lacking in certain things she needed. Like libraries, or larger markets. The merchant she was accompanying had been kind enough to agree with her leaving for the greater part of today to explore the city, and she wasn't about to waste the opportunity. Excusing herself hastily Vivian scurried off to find what she was looking for. Behind her the villagers exchanged amused looks but she didn't particularly care when daylight was burning.

As Vivian walked she would occasionally pause and stare at the buildings, drawn into memories of her previous life. Magnolia supposedly had a large trade district, and she wanted to see if there was some way there would be an in for her doing odd jobs around here. More importantly, it was bordered by the East Forest. She perked up visibly at the thought of going to see it, allowing herself to get her hopes up just a little.

As of yet she still wasn't sure where she wanted to end up in Fiore, but it was certainly time to get some exposure. Heading to the market Vivian walked into one of the stores and looked around for someone who was in charge. After inquiring around for a bit she was directed to a heavy-set man who seemed to be in his late 40's that was preoccupied with pouring over a log of sorts. Making her way over to him she wasted no time in introducing herself.

"Excuse me, sorry to bother you. My name's Vivian, the girl up front said I should talk to you if I'm looking for work. If you need references I can give you a li-"

"Look, we don't need beggars coming in here looking for scraps. All our positions are full, got it?"

Cutting her off abruptly and glaring at the front of the store the man shooed her away with a disdainful flick of his wrist. Before she could even think of a reply he returned back to his log as if to say their sordid business was concluded. Her face a perfect mask Vivian picked up a nearby instrument (perhaps most importantly, the most fragile looking instrument she could see) and dangled it in front of her face between two fingers. It made her feel a little bit better seeing the look of panic cross the mans face. Chuckling softly to herself she placed it back from where she found it and called out over her shoulder in an ominous tone as she left.

"Wondrous William's Wares... was it? I hope business goes well for you."

It wasn't until she was safely away from the store and a few blocks down that she ducked into an alley and slammed her fist against a wall. Her, a beggar? Really? Of all the arrogant, pompous, short-sighted, ignorant, brain-dead buffoons! The man was probably trying to make a living and was under no obligation to help her, and on some level Vivian was perfectly ok with that. That still didn't soften the blow to her dignity any. Wiping the scowl from her face Vivian trudged back to the market to continue her search.
