Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Esper didn't really know how to react. His attitude outwardly wouldn't change much more than a cocked up eyebrow at the mention of Raven Tail being a criminal organization.

"A big gang? Much like the group I'm after and that he says he'll help with. What if the bandits end up being affiliated with his guild or are in his guild? Then things could get bad. Is that why he'd helping me? Maybe he's curious if they are as well and then I'll be put in a situation I can't get out of. Then again they also protect the city they live in. Then again that could be no different than someone selling protection to a shop owner and if they don't accept they burn the store down. *sigh*...I'm over thinking this to much. I doubt he trusts me 100% right now either and it's not like I'm going to get lucky and find two strong mages, D-rank or not. It's a risk I'll just have to take."

After remaining quite for a little bit to gather his thoughts he'd let out a sigh as some stressed washed off his soul. Standing up he'd extend his hand to the two in order to solidify the contract of the job.

"I understand but two D-rank mages are better than two hired fighters and clearly you're strong enough to greatly hurt a non-mage so I wager you're stronger than you're giving yourself public credit for. I agree though...let's just spar to learn about one another so we can work well but let's not really hurt one another. Why don't we meet in the morning after breakfast at the spot marked on the map and get started?"

Esper hoped that his little bit a praise would go a long way and he was right, they needed sleep before training. He'd just have to do his best in the morning.

"Alright, see you in the morning... uh Esper was it?" Fukumura stated as both him and Mago stood up, with a wave they headed towards their room. Mago nodded at the big man who had sent them to Esper, and with that he was off to sleep. He'd been awake for way too long.

Mago collapsed onto his bed, and was passed out right then and there. He had removed most of his clothing and now slept in worn boxers.... he didn't bring a change of clothes with him. After all this mission wasn't supposed to take this long..... Whatever, as long as he got to sleep it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

In the other room Fukumura did similar, snoring face first into a pillow and dolling on his sheets. The white haired boy rolled over lazily, and continued to snore. He was having a rather nice dream, featuring his two most favorite things. Boobs, and food. Dream Fukumura was enjoying some boob shaped pancakes, while all the sexy dream ladies fawned over him. In short he slept rather well.

In the morning Mago made his way downstairs before Fukumura, the kid was still sleeping idly. Mago grabbed some coffee, has some breakfast, then walked to Fukumura's door and pounded on it quite loudly.

Inside Fukumura jumped up suddenly, rubbing his eyes groggily. He looked around, then got dressed and entered the hallway. "Ah holy shit Mago.... you interrupted my dream. It was at the best part!" Fukumura complained, yawning. It was early, after all they had to have enough time in the day to train and then look for the goblin witch. Mago sipped his coffee grumpily, not responding. He was rather irritable early in the morning.

Leaving and walking to his apartment would he'd remain quiet, never looking at anyone in the eyes and avoiding brushing against anyone. It wasn't he was depressed, sad, happy or anything. He was indifferent at the moment.

"I can't get to emotional about this. You'd think I would be or unable to contain any extreme motions at all but what if this doesn't pan out? What if it does pain out, then what? There are so many uncertainties. What if I find the bandits, then what? Do I kill them, forgive them, punish them? Is revenge worth it and will this fix my personality back to what it was before they died?

I used to be so happy."

Ending with thoughts of happiness Esper would crawl into bed after a nice long bath to clean himself up and get to smelling good. The last thing he wanted was to smell bad and he wanted to be at his best for the spar. Drifting off to sleep he'd finally get some rest.

Morning rising would wake Esper as the sun shinned and his alarm went off. Getting dressed and ready he'd head to the inn first to see if Fuku and Mago were still there or at the meeting place. Arriving he'd see they were still there and would give them a polite wave.

"Did you both get some breakfast already? If so are you two ready?"

The coffee tasted rather cheap.

But that didn't matter much, he just needed some caffeine in his system. He sat opposite of Fukumura at a table, the white haired boy devoured a plate full of eggs then a second plate full of hash browns, tater tots, sausage, and bacon. He ate like a pro, going through what Mago figured to be three meals for a normal person. Then he chugged his orange juice, finishing off the meal. The kid really did eat way too much.... like way too much. It was surprising that he wasn't fat.... Mago equated his appetite to him being young.... the kid was still growing after all.

Or so he said.

Fukumura went to get seconds, and returned after a few minutes with two fully buttered bagels and a waffle.... of course with another cup of orange juice. He went to work on his new food and Mago sipped on his coffee some more. People were staring at them, they had noticed Fukumura's abnormally large servings and watched as he devoured it faster then they could eat their regular sized plates.

Fukumura downed his second glass of orange juice, thus finishing his feast.

"They got good cooks here..." He said, planning to start a conversation now that he was done stuffing his face. Mago grunted in agreement. His breakfast really had been good.... though he was surprised Fukumura had even tasted it. "We should get going.... gotta go spar and whatever.... then go fight some goblin or something" Fukumura said standing up. "Yeah" Mago stood up after him, finishing his cup of coffee then made his way towards the door, just to run into Esper.

"Yeah we just got done eating, ready to spar when you are.... well while we're talking about it, you should fight me first. I promise not to use too much magic.... don't want to break your ribs or anything"

"Break my ribs?"

The thought of him having enough magical power that he'd have to pull his bunches that much was certainly gratifying. It meant the chance of success of the quest was more likely but also showed him just how much he had to learn and grow. Magic was a wonderful thing. It could make even the weakest of looking people strong and able to lift wagons with no issue. Some people were so strong and durable they could fight monstrous beasts, demolish towns with one spell or take on armies along. The real destruction could come from two juggernauts of that level fighting each other.

Eating a little bit himself on the way he'd go with the two to the clearing. It wasn't much. There was about 50' of space in a circle surrounded by trees. To the north was a small pond of clear blue water with a little bit of steam rising from it showing it was a hot spring. To the south near the trees would be large rocks covered in moss and flowers. The grass here was short with flowers here and there. Stretching a little he'd defer to the more trained one on what to do next.

"So what should we do next? Whenever I train I stretch first but you're the more experienced one so maybe you could give suggestion on what to do first or how we should approach this Senpai."

Wanting to be polite he'd refer to Mago as senpai during the training since he clearly was someone who could command such a title in his opinion but not wanting to leave Fukumura out he'd bend over and pick some flowers and hand them to him.

"I know this is strange and you're getting paid to help but here is a little something extra in the spur of the moment. What you might not know is these are called demon roses. (white roses with red tips). Supposedly they have some lore to do with demons but I'm not sure what. I've never been able to find any books on it. Chances are it was just a story from a florist trying to drum up busness selling something special that isn't. "

Mago eyeballed the eager boy.

He shot a rather mean look at him, not wanting to be called senpai. "You won't be able to warm up before an actual fight...." Mago said grumpily, then fell silent. He wasn't much for teaching, he'd let Fukumura spar and sit there bored. He didn't want to elaborate further, and decided to remain silent until he was addressed again.

"Eh that's just because a certain species of demons have red tipped white hair...... look exactly like the flowers. But it's better not to profile them..... they get pissed off pretty easily" Fukumura said, stepping into the ring as Mago backed away. "Anyway let's do this, we gotta get started cause we don't have all day..... rules are stop fighting if your opponent gives up, or is knocked out..... either that or the victor is clear" Fukumura explained, cracking his knuckled and neck, then bouncing on his toes and shaking his arms out. "Hope you're ready" The white haired boy explained, trying to ignore the flowers.

His mother was from that exact species of demon, luckily Fukumura had only inherited the white hair...... after all he was only half demon. But hey, he also got wind magic and a fucked up arm........ literally half of his body was demon.... and it was gross to most people. Which he why he rarely ever wore short sleeves and removed his glove, hell most people he met didn't know he was a demon..... and he liked it that way. Especially now that demons were generally discriminated against due to certain cultists and attack by demons.... people just didn't understand that there were different races..... ah well. Racists were gonna be racist no mater what.....

"3.....2.....1.... GO!" Fukumura shouted, immediately rushing at his opponent. This should be fun.....
