Poinsettia. Home of the Blue Pegasus guild (and other hippies). Mago doubted he'd run into any of the people that had been at Wonderland, but you could never be so careful. As a precaution both Mago and Fukumura had their hoods up, hiding their faces some. Of course this wasn't to out of the ordinary, considering the rather chilly weather. Of course Mago wasn't exactly cold.... he never was. Fukumura on the other hand, did get cold... it's why he rarely took his cloak off these days. That and he looked like a private school kid with out it... according to him it made him look more 'evil and spooky'.

Whatever.

Mago wasn't here to burn down Blue Pegasus anyway, he was there to make connections with the local criminals. Ever since his expedition with Julian had started he'd been doing things like this, meeting people and making arrangements for them to work for, or with him. He has a suspicion it'd be a little harder to do in a light guilds city, so far he had been to small towns.... he didn't want to risk facing off with his fellow dark mages in the other guilds. This however, was the first guild town he had visited for this purpose. So far he wasn't having to much luck, the criminal underground probably didn't show itself until night time when most of the guild mages were asleep.

For now they'd just wander around and site see. Maybe they'd find somebody on accident? Not likely.... not if Fukumura kept acting like a tourist. The guy bounced around, looking at any and everything he could. He held a pretzel in one hand and a pamphlet in the other. He munched away and shouted with his mouth full. Then he swallowed.

"Hey look it's that bar in the pamphlet...." He pointed at a sign that read "Jason's bar and deli", the same words were stamped onto the window. Mago looked at it and just shrugged, might as well grab a bite to eat while they were over here. They were in downtown Poinsettia, the streets were packed and Mago didn't much feel like navigating through the crowd anymore. "Well maybe we shouldn't go there... says here the owners name is Jason and he's a Blue Pegasus mage. But it also says he has like all types of alcohol.... and that his sandwiches are pretty good, apparently another mage named Jaxus work there too" Fukumura explained, putting a little because he wanted to eat at the bar. "Meh, they're won't attack us for no reason... let's eat" Mago said, opening the door to the bar and removing his hood.

The place was full, they were experiencing the lunch rush just like everybody else. Whatever. Mago walked up to the bar and took a seat; Fukumura plopping down next to him and studying the drinks menu. Mago did the same, quickly deciding on what he wanted. Fukumura shifted about in awe, Mago figured he hadn't been to many bars in his life time. Hell Mago wasn't even sure he could legally be in the bar.... Mago was fairly certain Fukumura was over sixteen. Though he had never asked...? Whatever, it probably wouldn't be a problem.

Damn. It'd been a really really long time since Jason had returned to Poinsettia. His bar was probably burnt down or out of business..... But it was his fault for leaving Jaxus in charge. Jason approached his establishment, he was wearing his armor so only Jaxus would recognize him. That was unless Marco was hanging around, which he highly doubted. Jason's armor had a bunch of new marks and scuffs from combat he had engaged in while he was gone, he had told somebody his secret and now they were trying to kill him, probably Jaxus too.

As he walked up the street he got a bunch of stares, from children and adults alike. That's what happens when you wear armor in the middle of the day... Especially since only knights and mages wore such get up most of them time, and the Mage guild in this town happened to be a pacifist guild thus removing the need for armor at all.

To bad Jason wasn't a pacifist. In all honesty he should probably just quit Bp because it really wasn't his scene. Jason walked into his bar, it was still closed due to it being like three am in the mornning. He went up to his room and walked around Jaxus' stuff. He put his armor away and got a quick shower, then shaved the manly geared he had grown over the past couple of months. Ah that was better. He was back to looking smooth and bartenderish.

Jason opened the bar and checked around the make sure the place was all there. Everything was stocked and well organized Jaxus had done a surprisingly good job. As customers came and went Jason got greetings from the regulars, he lied to them and said he had been on a mission that had taken longer the expected. He kept serving and then a white haired guy and another guy with red hair opened the door and stepped inside. They looked to be around Jason's age, give or take a few years.

"Ready to order?"

FOR GRADER

Mago decided on his meal when Fukumura was just deciding on what to drink. The bartender approached them, and Mago decided he'd order first so that Fukumura could have a little extra time. "Chicken and waffles with some Magnolia Ale" Mago stated bluntly, and Jason gave him a sideways look. "This is a deli.... we don't serve chicken and waffles...." The bartender stated blandly. "Well then you should update your menu...." Mago responded, pointing at where it clearly said "chicken and waffles" on the menu. "The hell..... uh yeah see this bar has been under different management up until today so yeah.... some of the items on the menu I might not be able to make for you" "...Then I'll have the shepherds pie" "Try again" "Steak and cheddar panini with horse radish?" "You really are just having the worst luck here" "Twelve piece buffalo wings....." "That, is something I can indeed make for you...."

Jason turned his gaze from Mago to Fukumura. "And for you?" Fukumura looked up and looked hesitant. "I'll take the spicy nachos with like.... extra jalapenos and some cherry peppers.... oh and spicy salsa, but don't forget the sour cream.... and cheese. Basically everything that comes with the regular nachos but with extra spicy stuff" Fukumura explained with a smile on his face. "And to drink?" "Uhhhhhhhh let's see..... I was trying to figure that out but like, this is really my first time at a bar.... and my first time ordering alcohol so uh I guess I'll copy Mago! What'd he get? Magnolia Ale? Yeah that sounds good" "Alright.... just whistle if you need anything else" Jason turned away from them, and started to make drinks. He slid them perfectly across the bar top too the customers that had ordered them. Then he placed two mugs of ale in front of Mago and Fukumura. He made his way to the back and started cooking orders as well.... he really was a busy guy.

Mago watched Jason the whole time, there was no way he did this all by himself. He had to have some help.... especially during a rush like this. Mago figured the customers were either really patient or Jason was really fast. Either way it didn't matter to him as long as his food got to him in a timely manner.

"Hey dude, you remember when we kicked that guy out of a window right?" "Vaguely" "Okay well I was thinking, so far I got a couple of moves. Tornado kick, tornado punch, and just general tornadoes....." "I'm aware of your spells.... you shout them when you attack" "It strikes fears into our foes..." "Not when you sound like a kid at an amusement park, what're you getting at anyway?" "So I was watching the news and like there was this big ass tornado and it had fire in it!" "....You want to combine spells?" "Yeah dude, it'd be bad ass.... like it'd do a shit ton of damage and stuff. It'd make our jobs for Raven Tail so much easier!" "I guess we could try it sometime...." "Let's practice on those guys Mogwin wanted us to fuck up later.... but we can't kick them out of a window like last time.... the Poinsettia police probably aren't on the guilds pay roll" Right when he said that Jason came back with their food. The blond haired bar tender eyeballed them through his glasses.

"Oh? You're guild mages?" Mago sighed and sipped his ale. According to Fukumura's pamphlet Jason was a part of Blue Pegasus.... so if he knew what guild they belonged too it might be troublesome. "Oh uhh... yeah we are"

Jason set the plates down.

They were fucking dark mages? Okay well not nessecisarilly but based off of the lat part of their conversation that was Jason's best guess. They were worried about the cops, apparently the ones around here weren't on their pay roll? What did that even mean? From what Jason knew about the dark guilds and what not sometimes they paid off knights to keep quiet about illegal activities.

The silver haired guy confirmed that they were guild mages, and he looked at his red haired partner nervously. Jason studied the both of them, the younger one didn't look too confident but the man with red hairs expression remained indifferent.

Jason had seen many teams in his life, and this one was easy to profile. The man with the he red hair was obviously more of the leader, while the silver haired boy looked up to him for advice and stuff. But nothing was that cut and dry, they probably both worked together.... It was just that the red haired one was the more adult of the two, the more experienced.

Jason didn't know if he should let them go in and do whatever they were here to do. "What guild? I'm a blue Pegasus Mage my self" Jason spoke, more maiming calm. He didn't want to start a fight on his first day back. "Uhh... We're from Raven Tail" Fukumura admitted, not feeling much like lying. "Oh, we don't see your... Demographic a lot in Poinsettia.... Try to stay out of trouble and Blue Pegasus won't get in your hair" Mago just grunted ominously and ate his chicken.... That couldn't of gone much better.

Well this was awkward. Fukumura had told the bar tender their guild. Mago just ate his food, ignoring their conversation. He figured since Blue Pegasus was full of hippies and pacifists they wouldn't fight in public..... or maybe they would. Either way it'd be two on one. Fukumura ate a chip.

But this wasn't just any ordinary spicy nacho chip.

This was the chip covered in salsa, extra jalapenos, and spicy beef. It was the legendary super chip, only one can be found in any particular plate of nachos. This was his first chip. However Fukumura had made a mistake, he didn't build up to the spicy that was his nachos.... he just dove into it head first.

Mago hate his buffalo wings, generally unaffected by the heat. He sipped his ale and enjoyed the meal, though his face didn't tell that story. Fukumura devoured the legendary chip in one go, and blood rushed to his face. The boy liked spicy things, but the last time he ate one was so long ago..... he wasn't ready for the spicy on the chip. Fukumura looked like he was about to die. Mago just shook his head, he knew this was going to happen after he heard "spicy salsa" come out of the boys mouth.

The half demons right arm reached for his beer, but he was to clumsy. He knocked it over and the brown liquid spilled off the counter and onto the guy next to Fukumura. The silver haired boy was quite literally panting, his face still cherry red. "Oi what the hell man?!" The guy next t Fukumura stood up and gave him a rather angry look. "Ugh these fucking pants cost me 2mil!" Fukumura just ignored him, he rushed over to where Jason was serving a glass of water to a couple that was sitting in a booth. He snatched the glass off the trey and chugged it. On his way over to Jason he had accidentally shoulder checked the guy with expensive pants, he was now furious. "YOU! You know what, damn it all! I don't care if you are a guild mage I'll still whoop yer' ass!" the guy rushed at Fukumura, ready to swing.

Jason intercepted the punch. He looked pissed. Fukumura was none the wiser, he just watched confused as to why Jason was fighting this guy. "You know..... I really hate violence. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S IN MY BAR!" Jason twisted the mans arm around, and the guy winced. 'Ah Jason! He started it that guy-" Jason was having none of his excuses, he kicked the man right in the hip, sending him sliding across the bar floor. "I'll deal with him SOON ENOUGH!" the guy just ran out the bar, he knew of Jason's rather violent way of dealing with trouble makers. "Woah.... what'd he do? Insult your bow tie?"Fukumura asked, popping out from behind the light mage.

Mago just continued to eat his food, not really caring about the commotion. "I don't know what you're sued to in Trillium but in Poinsettia we don't take kindly to trouble makers.... especially not ones that are criminals" Jason spoke coldly, and turned to face Fukumura. "Hey hey hey. I am a lot of things, but a criminal? I am also that.... so like yeah.... I'd like to congratulate you on your spot on analysis" Fukumura said with a shrug. "You know... I think I'm gonna end up taking you in today after all..." Jason spoke through gritted teeth. "Take me into where?" the only response he got was a sweeping kick that knocked him on his ass. Jason was on the attack.

Mago, still not caring about the situation, finished his ninth wing.

"OI DUDE WHAT THE HELL???" Fukumura said, rolling backwards and jumping away from Jason as he continued to attack. The bartender wasn't down for his chit chat though, he continued to press Fukumura. He threw punch after punch, most of them connecting with Fukumura's face and stomach, but the wind mage was doing the best he could to evade. He swung back, unlike Jason though, his punches weren't crisp and trained. Jason grabbed his arm and judo flipped him onto a table. Fukumuras head was now right next to Jason's legs. A foot raised int he air, Jaosn was gonna kick him through the table.

Well that was until Fukumura hit him with his super breath. The wind mage drew on his magic power, then blew a small tornado out of his mouth. Of course not literally, he just used his magic to make his breath that much stronger. The wind magic prevented Jason's leg from coming down, and caused him to do a back flip in order to keep his balance. Fukumura rolled off the table rather lazily, he really needed to take this more seriously. "Nice moves dude you're like... a blonde Bruce-" He was silenced by Jason's magical fist. The construct of light hit him square in the chest, and caught him off guard.

Fukumura slid back up against the glass. He wasn't ready in time to stop the next punch. Another magical fist hit him, effectively putting him through the glass and out of the bar.

Jason stood there, his magical creation wrapped around him. Susano’s arms slowly came back beside him. He watched the boy get up slowly after being thrown out of a window. People in the bar left, well some of them did. The regulars just chuckled and muttered things akin to “just like old times”.

Jason sighed. As Fukumura pulled a piece of glass out of his arm, then cursed quite loudly.

Jason sat in the bar and waited to see if the guy would walk away or come back for more, he didn’t want to pursue a confrontation in broad daylight after all. A crowd circled around FUkumura, trying to figure out what had happened. Jason continued to wait. Then the white haired boy made his move. After his eyebrow creased and he shouted another curse word.

More wind spun into existence around him. His arms became encased in a drill like formation, and a tornado spun to life around him. Jason decided it’d be better for his bar if the guy didn’t step back inside, so instead he met him on the street. Jason jumped out of the window and swung at him with his Susano’o. To Jason’s surprise the guy swung back, his wind drill fist thing connecting with Jason’s construct. Of course Jason’s construct won the magic battle, but the guy wasn’t pulling back. The boy poured more magic into his drill, and it increased in size and force. It felt like the boy was firing off spell after spell to push back Jason’s fist. Then it worked.

Jason’s magical arm was forced back, and was pushed by a blast of wind toward the crowd. With his other arm the boy willed the will on his left arm to push forward, into Jason’s magical armor. Jason’s was thrown back by the blast, thought the armor protected him from the damage from the hit. He quickly recovered, and took up his fighting stance once more. The boys magic had caused cracks to appear in his construct. Jason sucked his teeth, this kid was just as strong as him magically.

Fukumura rushed forward, maintaining the tornado around him. Damn kid, Jason was sure keeping that magic spinning around him was tiring but it prevented him from getting hit by Jason’s arms. Jason had to rethink his strategy, and the answer was simple. He’d fire an arrow off at him. Jason’s Susano’’o temporarily turned into it’s full form, and it held an arrow and bow. He fired it off, right at the charging Fukumura. The arrow passed through his little tornado quite easily, and was headed straight for him.

The boy reacted, but just a little too late. He dove to the side, the arrow hitting him in the ribs. Fukumura did a backwards spin, and fell to the floor. Jason wasn’t going to let him get back up, he’d knock him out while he had the chance. The guy had taken too punches and his arrow, he was definitely in pain.

To bad Jason had forgot about Mago. The fire mage walked out of the door, and sighed. It was as if helping out his friend was a pain in his ass. Jason heard the chime of the door go off, and spun around, his Susano’o throwing a backhand at him. But he caught it. Quite literally. An aura of flames erupted around him and his hand wrapped around the wrist of Susano’o. His eyes were closed, this really was a pain for him to do. The two men struggled, Mago’s arm shaking back and forth as he struggled to keep the fist away from him. Jason split his attention in half, his other arm came down on Fukumura’s back, pressing him down against the street. He looked at Mago, despite the obvious clash going on the guy looked like he wasn’t even trying. Bastard, people like him really pissed Jason off.

Mago sighed. It really was a bother to fight this guy. His magic wasn't as strong as Fukumura's, and from what he had seen this guys was just a bit stronger... so he'd have a hard time probably. But he stepped in anyway. Jason had quickly noticed his presence, and attacked right away. Mago was anxious to finish this, well not that anybody else knew that, the last thing he wanted was more mages or knights showing up.

Mago opened his eyes lazily, they were glowing red.

He raised his right arm, his palm pointed towards Jason. He fired off some magic, the torrent of fire rushing towards, and colliding with, Jason. The flames over took him, flowing around the outside of his armor before they dissipated. They had some force behind them, but it wasn't enough to throw Jason off his feet, it just made it harder for him to keep his balance. So Mago pressed harder, he turned his open hand into a fist, the flames still around Jason exploded in a show of brilliant pink. Then another explosion, two right back to back. That moved Jason.

As Mago's flames drifted off into the sky and disappeared Jason has stumbled. Mago fired off another blast, this one shattered his already damaged magical armor. The arm Mago was holding back shattered like glass, and floated up into the air then slowly faded away. Well wasn't that something....

Mago sighed and stepped further out into the street. He felt like an arena fighter, mostly because of all the spectators. They had formed a rather large circle around them, giving them enough room to fire off their magic and fight freely. Mago stepped towards Jason, who was now positioned in between both him and Fukumura. He had his guard up, ready to fight on two fronts. Then a slug slithered past Mago and towards Jason, who cooped the little thing up and placed it on his shoulder. "We've been back for a few hours and already you've started a fight... shame on you Jason" The slug scolded him. Weird, Mago had seen a lot of things... a talking skeleton included, but a slug? Never. No matter how many weird things he saw he'd probably never get used to it.

"Fucking bastard that really hurt" Fukumura said as he stood up, he shifted uncomfortably. His ribs were badly bruised and his chest was the same. Fukumura grit his teeth and around him wind began to blow. He was surrounded by it, but it was different then the tornado. The wind wasn't powerful, all it served to do was strengthen Fukumura's attacks. "ALRIGHT YOU BASTARD I'M DONE WARMING UP!" Fukumura rushed forward with new found speed.

Jason cast a buff spell of his own. Blue and green marking covered his face, and two clones identical to him appeared beside him. Looks like it was three on two now. As if some mysterious voice in the sky had started the match, each party rushed forward. Fukumura's wind magic backed him up as he met one of the three Jason's in battle. Mago fought his own Jason, throwing punches and ducking under his. The Original Jason however, has elected to attack Fukumura. The only reason Mago could identify him was because of the slug on his shoulder. Fukumura wasn't fast enough to deal with the both of them. Wind blasts flew every which way as they fought, he took punches and kicks but refused to go down. He was being pushed back, retreating as he went toe to toe with his two assailants.

Mago had no problem keeping up with his opponent, he was faster and could dodge his moves rather easily. So he decided he'd help Fukumura. Delivering a swift kick to the clones legs, he knocked them out from under it. The clone hit the floor and as it was getting up Mago rushed over to aid his silver haired companion. He attempted to shoulder check the real Jason but only met air, he had disappeared in a flash of light. The reappeared under Mago, shit. The guy was too fast to dodge, Jason delivered a huge punch to Mago's stomach.

Mago got the wind knocked out of him, but he couldn't afford to stop fighting. He grabbed Jason's arm with both of his hands and spun, tossing the light mage into the crowd. Before he could admire his work the clone he was fighting earlier blindsided him with a swift hit to the jaw, but couldn't continue it's attack because a body hit it. Fukumura had sent his clone flying with a tornado blast to his chest, and it collided back first with Mago's. "BOO YAH MOTHER FUCKER" Fukumura shouted as he rushed after the two clones who were sprawled out on the ground. Mago didn't bother to watch his companion, Jason was back up and on the attack once more. The guy was fast, faster then before, it was only thanks to Mago's spell that he could keep up with him but still he was too slow.

Jason and him traded a few blows, the light mage pressuring Mago with a flurry of punches and kicks, causing him to retreat. But Jason wasn't gonna give up on his pursuit, he chase after him and Mago found himself getting hit multiple times in the face, but Jason would meet the same fate as him. Jason finally pulled back, and Mago could anticipate his punch. It was and uppercut, aimed at his chin. He dodged, moving his head to the right. Then answered with a big punch of his own, driving his right fist into Jason's temple. He but his weight behind it, twisting his whole body while he extended his arm.

The red haired bastard really stole the shit out of him. The punch connected with his temple, and he drove through completely catching Jason off guard. He had cast his refraction spell, but apparently this person could see through it. Damn he really should’ve known better. Jason spun so that now he was facing the opposite direction, and he fell onto the floor. Like hell he was going to just fall and get stomped on.

Jason used his arms to stop him from hitting the ground to hard and spun around, throwing a sweeping kick at Mago’s legs. But it didn’t work. His legs were planted, he stood with a good and solid base….. damn. Mago took advantage of the failed attack, and threw a kick that hit Jason right in the gut. The light mage rolled across the street, quickly getting back up. Hibiki had hidden herself in his pocket now, she didn’t want to fall off his shoulder or anything.

Jason felt his two clones get destroyed before he saw it. Fukumura had pierced the both of them with a wind drill. Damn, he was running out of time. Soon sage mode would run out and then he’d be over powered for sure. He couldn’t let that happen.

Hibiki attacked first, firing a ball of acid Mago’s way. I was slower then the other spells, and Mago had time to erect some kind of shield. It flashed red when the acid hit it. The acid splattered every which way, and the shield seemed to break. Well that was a rather useless technique….

Jason rushed forward, once again meeting Mago in combat. The two threw blows once more, each taking their share of hits. But this time was different, this time Fukumura got involved. He flew out from behind Jason and tornado kicked him in the back, sending the light mage flipping forward into the crowd. Damn this sucked. Jason couldn’t keep this up much longer, his body was starting to hurt. He looked down at Hibiki, who began to heal his wounds. The bruises on his face and chest faded away. Not completely, Hibiki had focussed mostly on the bruise that was on his back from the kick.

Jason stood up, and walked out of the crowd feeling a lot better then before. This fight was taking to long, usually he could beat them up and be done with it…. that’s what he gets for fighting two guild mages. Luckily the knights showed p. More specifically a single knight, who made his way through the crowd to see what all the commotion was about. He looked at Jason, then at Fukumura and Mago. All three of them looked pretty beat up. Jason had healed sure, but his clothes were damaged from the wind blasts that kid was throwing around. The knight sighed and drew his sword. What was he doing? He approached Mago first, probably because he looked rather bored about this whole thing….. did that guys face ever change? Jason watched in shock as the red haired mage allowed himself to be cuffed, then was even more shocked when the silver haired mage followed his example. The knight then walked over to him, sword in one hand, cuffs in the other. Jason grumbled…. what kind of light mage would he be if he didn’t turn himself in?

Well this sucked.

Turns out you can't start a fight in public with out the knights coming. Mago didn't see the point in resisting, it'd just cause more problems. Plus Fukumura was in no shape to fight or run or anything. The kid had taken a beating. As Mago powered down whatever spell he still had active Fukumura did the same, and let the knights cuff him.

The knights read them their rights or whatever, all while moving them down the street and too a precinct. As they walked through the streets Mago got some stares, they must of thought he was Ryo or something. All everybody looked in bewilderment, whispering about how they had caught him. Whatever, this would just be another thing on his record.

Mago was silent, trying to figure out how to avoid being sent to prison. He couldn't afford to be there right now. When they reached the precinct Fukumura was dragged somewhere else to be healed. Mago on the other hand was taken straight to the back and locked up. They didn't remove his cuffs..... mostly because they were afraid that he was indeed the Wildfire. With a sigh he leaned back against the wall, sitting on his rather uncomfortable bed.

He watched as Jason was brought in, just staring blankly at the man he had just been fighting. The bar tender was put into a bar next to him, and looked rather pissed off still. They removed his cuffs, figured since he was a light mage he wouldn't cause trouble.

Mago stared blankly at his bars, waiting for something to happen. The precinct was silent, relatively empty. Guess Poinsettia wasn't all that crime ridden. "I won't press charges if you don't" Jason spoke, looking over at Mago through his bars. The King of Diamonds just looked forward, grunting. That was his way of saying okay. Satisfied, Jason turned back to face his own bars.

After several minutes a knight walked in with Fukumura, and threw him in the same cell as Mago. The boy was all healed and looked good as new. "Well..... at least the nurse was hot" Mago didn't pay him much mind, and just stared at the wall.

Another several minutes of silence passed when a knight finally walked in. "So you decide to start a fight on your first they back huh Jason? Aren't you guys supposed to be pacifists? Jeez. I can't let you go if they press charges this time..... eye witness reports say you started it" The knight looked over at Mago, waiting for him to comment on what he was going to do. With a huff he stood up and walked over to the bars.

"Then I guess he's a free man" Mago spoke blandly, pressing his face against the bars. The knight stepped away from him, avoiding eye contact. "Uh.... okay then. But you still gotta pay the tickets Jason.... you too Wildfire..." "I'm not Ryo Hasaki" "Yeah and I'm hungry.... can we hurry up and leave?" "I.... what? Of course you're Ryo.... you got the red hair and everything. Hell people even said you were using fire magic. Who're you trying to fool? Look Jason you're free to go but you Mr. Hasaki. You have a lot to answer for" "I'm not Ryo" "Prove it then Mr. Not Ryo?" "If I was do you think this police station would still be standing?" "That's..... I don't know what your plans are so that's not enough proof"

With a sigh Mago pulled away from the bars. How was he supposed to prove he wasn't Ryo? He always had a hard time doing this..... sometimes he was forced to stay days on end until they got proof the real Ryo was running amok. "well what about me? Do I gotta stay around?" "Yes" "Why?" "You're with him...."
