Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Was there the loud, distinct sound of crashing outside? Shouts of dismay? Something... breaking? Perhaps. Perhaps there was. When the walls momentarily began to shake, she braced a ceramic cup filled with toothbrushes with her hand before it could fall and shatter to the floor. She wondered, briefly, how many things had done just that outside. Well, surely the... what had he called himself? Hero?... could handle whatever it was. It was a little over her paygrade, anyway.

The red superhero, shouta and viking minotaur enthusiast were doubtlessly capable of dealing with the living room by themselves, anyway. With a few more minutes of effort, which admittedly felt something more like a lifetime than it really was due to the sheer, mind-numbing monotony of it all, Sierra managed to successfully pack away the bathroom. Which meant... once the boys were finished with the living room, given the relatively small size of the flats, the kitchen and bedroom would likely be all that remained.

Hoisting up her boxes, Sierra caught wind of the smell of oysters as she delicately nudged open the bathroom door. No... it wasn't that. She'd smelled it before, but it had been impossible to distinguish from the various other smells of the bathroom. Someone really would have to clean that. And call in a professional exterminator, or something. Studiously continuing to ignore the other inhabitants of the flat, she carried her boxes out to set them in the lobby outside, carefully labelling them with a permanent marker.

"... So how am I going to do the rest of this?"

"Hey...I've got an idea!"

Yuuta said out loud. With Rider busy doing his own thing, Yuuta knew that the rest of the living room would be on his shoulders. Tiny as they were he knew that if he really got down to it he would be able to handle quite the large task. Paying attention to the window, Yuuta would set up quite the extravagant contraption as he used a series of comforter sheets and blankets to make a sort of work-line.

After opening the window and tossing the sheet-line outside, Yuuta would jump out the window only to land on his feet, and tie the comforter line to two poles that were close together on the ground floor. Taking the stairs back up (and probably passing the red haired girl in his hustling) Yuuta would get back into the living room, pack a box and place it on the line. Taking a deep breath he would of noticed the client watching in silence, as he slowly came to realize what was going on. But before he could comment in worry, Yuuta would of let the box fly!

Or rather slide down. Out the window down the "conveyor belt " made out of sheets and onto the floor downstairs. Granted it did take two boxes to get the timing right as well as the amount of weight the belt could handle, Yuuta figured that the mess outside could easily be taken care of once the living room was finished. In which it would in just a few more boxes.

"Almost done in here!"

Sierra did the best she could to ignore the many and varied omninous sounds from the living room as she moved on towards packing up the kitchen. Unlike bedrooms, kitchens were usually just full of things that could be easily broken, and while the others meant well, she wasn't sure it was safe to let them handle this at all. It would probably have been safer to let a pack of wild buffalo run free than to let the others have their way with the kitchen equipment.

Digging out some old, threadbare towels, she began lining a pair of boxes for delicate tableware - glasses, plates, bowls and the like that could be easily broken if dropped or treated too roughly. Once all of the tableware had been packed, Sierra heard shouta's voice calling out, informing her that the living room was almost finished. Excellent. After labeling the boxes with a bold marker as 'Delicate - Kitchen', she stacked them in the corner and began to begin packing pots, pans, and various food items in a large plastic tub that had been... well, she presumed set aside for them.

"Kitchen's almost done too. Let me know when you're done and we can get the bedroom furniture taken care of. I don't think it's a one person job." Which was unfortunate, but really couldn't be helped, could it? That was probably why multiple packers had been requested in the first place, anyway.

As the last of the living room items were sent out the window Yuuta would of trudged into the kitchen just as the girl finished up with the boxes containing the items the man would need for his new kitchen. Probably a large array of knives, spoons, forks, plastic forks, knives, spoons, chopsticks and other such eatery materials would probably held within the boxes the girl had packed. They were lined up and ready for departure but before that Yuuta figured that the bedroom would be the next best course of action.

To his understanding the beds would need to be dismantled before they could even fit through the door let alone get downstairs. If it was him, Yuuta would of blew out the walls so that there would be space for the bed to fit easily but unlike him, this man who was asking all these things of him definitely has no common sense or basic respect.

Grabbing what looked to be a sort of toolbox from the hall, Yuuta would of walked into one of the bedrooms leading the way for the girl to follow. Upon entering the room would have a slight smell as the two mages glanced around. The was mess was understandable of a room in the middle of being packed and taken away though barely gave the two any walking space let alone space to take down a bed-type piece of furniture. Finding a sort of nightstand, Yuuta would place down the toolbox toss a wrench over to the girl and mumble.

"Well lets get started then..."

Looking up from her work, Sierra smiled faintly in greeting towards Captain Shota as he arrived in the kitchen, briefly scanned it and departed. It wasn’t exactly the most clearly communicative expression of preparedness, but she had to admit that, at the very least, he hadn’t wandered off and tried to do everything by himself, either. ”I’ll be right there,” she called after him as she finished securely taping the last of the boxes with a tape-cutter.

Following him quietly down the hall a moment later, Sierra couldn’t help but wrinkle her nose just a little bit as the smell of the bedroom assaulted her before she had even managed to arrive – the open door was more than enough. Once again, the magus reminded herself that she had committed herself to this task, and abandoning it simply because it was distasteful was out of the question.

”Figure he has enough stuff?” Sierra queried upon actually viewing the bedroom, which was thoroughly… dominated by the furniture within. ”Hold on a sec while I move some of the chachka out of here, so we have room to work.” Sierra lightly caught and pocketed the wrench, taking another brief look around.

Yes, there was definitely too much little trinket shit lying around. Grabbing one of the many easily available shopping bags, she began sorting the junk away so that they could safely move enough furniture out to dismantle the bed. It looked like it was going to be quite a bit more of a chore than even she had expected.

It took a few seconds but those moments of ignorance were bliss. The smell of the room assaulted Yuuta's nose all at once causing him to stumble slightly. Shaking his head he could not even begin to imagine what would cause a person to go to such extremes when he came to keeping their room messy.

"Hey..."

He would say motioning to the girl.

"I could break the bed and stuff it into garbage bags...Then we could just carry it to the truck. He'd never know and we'd get out of this way quicker."

The plan he had just come up with was practically foolproof and would be able to go off without a hitch. By the time the client realized that his bed was broken and had to be replaced, both Yuuta and this other mage would be long gone. Not that he really cared for the man's bed in the first place, it was just a termite ridden piece of garbage anyway.

Seeing the girl on her hands and knees dealing with the smaller trinkets kind of made Yuuta angry. Why did they have to deal with this much garbage? Yes it was a mission, but in all honesty they should of put details on the type of nastiness they would have to deal with once the job was taken.

If anything it was a complete misunderstanding and an obvious act of taking advantage of the usefulness mage's create by doing various jobs for money. They had been mislead with the information given and Yuuta would not stand for it.

"I say we finish this as soon as possible, who cares about some guys trinkets anyway."

Yuuta would say sweeping a large amount of collectables into a garbage bag and tying it up.

Listening to the boy's explanation, Sierra suppressed a sigh and instead pressed her fingers into her forehead out of exasperation. It wasn't as if she hadn't thought of something similar herself, of course, so she couldn't exactly criticize him for the suggestion, but still.. wasn't it a bit much to actually say it out loud?

"As much as I agree that it would be a lot easier, that's out of the question. I'll take care of the bed, then, if you just keep gathering the clutter." Yeah... that would be for the best. If this kid handled something like the bed the way he wanted, they'd almost certainly be reported for failing the job, and after all they'd already done, that was NOT something that Sierra was willing to countenance.

"Now where's the hex key..." In order to dismantle the bed without destroying it, she'd need the right tools, right? Luckily enough, she'd expected something like this to happen and had brought a spare with her just in case. Fumbling in her pockets for a moment, she deliberately ignored the reappearance of Mr. Richards at the entryway to the bedroom, having come to see exactly what was going on and..

"What was that about destroying my stuff? I'm an important man, you know. I could... uh... I could make bad things happen to you!"

Yeah, it was probably best to continue ignoring him for now. Maybe if she managed for long enough he would just... go away? Finally retrieving the hex key from her pocket, she set to work at taking the bed apart so that it could be properly transported. Not that she wasn't considering a couple shortcuts of her own, of course...

Listening to the girl as he continued to sweep up the items, Yuuta would notice how she pretended like she didn't notice the client walk in and start to...wait did he just threaten them? Them who was doing his job for him for practically nothing? Them who had put up with smells and items and clutter for an insurmountable amount of time for no reason other than the fact that this man did not know how to throw things out? Nope. Thats not how Yuuta did things. Waiting until the client was gone(due to neither mage giving him a moments time) Yuuta would gain a childish grin on his face as he nodded as if he had gathered the resolve to carry out his own personal plan.

Clapping his hands together twice, Yuuta would turn to the dresser which he had just finished 'cleaning' off. Usually this would take two(or one really strong person) to move and carefully carry downstairs. Drag it towards the hallway. It didn't take long with proper push and pull techniques and once uuthe dresser was in the hallway, Yuuta's plan would begin. Activating one of his spells, Yta would grin as he noticed the sound of the dresser moving across the carpet did not alert the client. With this, Yuuta would push the dresser towards the nearest window, and with great effort, lift it and toss it out said window.

Grinning wildly as he would check and see if either the female mage or the client heard the noise he would wait for the 'loud crash' that would ensue after tossing such an item out the window....But there was nothing. Not even a peep. Running back into the room, Yuuta would of taken one of the garbage bags he had just finished filling, and toss it out the bedroom window where he had left the other girl working with the bed. Again, there would be no sound of the bag hitting the floor outside.

"Hey, lemme get at that bed for a second."

He would say finding a hammer-ish item and carrying it towards the four poster bed. His face would clearly speak as to what he was about to do and with his first swing, he would aim to knock the headboard right off its nails/screws. With each following swing(including the first one) the sound that would usually appear due to the collision of products would be absent.

With this spell that Yuuta used, both he and the girl would be able to destroy or ahem 'clean up' way more effectively and efficiently without the client hearing and having to worry about their methods. They could be done in minutes instead of hours if they repeated this with the remainder of rooms they had, leaving the client to deal with the mess afterwards because they truly were only request to "Help him move his items". With this, they would do exactly that.

"You can't just..." Sierra sighed, shaking her head as the still-unidentified young boy proceeded to smash apart the bedframe that she had been carefully disassembling. At this rate, she was fairly confident that the lot of them were going to get in serious trouble and have the entire bloo'y job written off, but... well, maybe there was still a way to salvage things while still remaining productive. Maybe.

"Why don't you head downstairs and start putting all the stuff we've packed so far into the container? I think I can handle the rest here, when I'm done I'll come get you so we can double check to make sure we didn't miss anything." Truth be told, there would probably be a lot of heavy lifting awaiting for the young sound mage, but at the very least it would keep him away from the delicate work where his natural talents would go to waste.

With a faint smile and a light wave of her hand, Sierra continued packing what she could while they spoke. There was still a surprising amount of... stuff, even after everything they had already done. How on earth it had managed to accumulate this much without severe accident or arson was something of a wonder. "Go on, it's pretty obvious you don't wanna be stuck in here with Mr. Minotaur Wannabe anyway."

It wasn't as if stuffing things in boxes and carrying them down to be sorted was a particularly difficult task for her, anyway, and there was still that masked fellow to help carry things... if she could find him again. Maybe he'd been buried somewhere, and she would have to fish him out. Well, it wouldn't be the strangest thing that had happened today.
