Toshiro was a bit surprised when it happened during the dance as it seemed that everyone think that it was all part of the performance. Still, Toshiro didn't bother doing anything that may cause problems to the ball or to the blonde mage so he just stood there as he watch the dance. As he watch though, it seemed that someone approached him while this is happening making it looked like it is indeed part of the show. The platinum blonde haired lady from earlier have approached him and asked for a dance for him. To the eyes of the spectator, it would seem that the two couple would be separated while dancing with different partners and would soon reunite while their partner leave them be. The smoke mage never did have the words to deny the platinum blonde haired lady of the dance as it would not be gentleman like, so the two dance for a while until the switch took place. Toshiro did saw the platinum blonde haired lady stepping aside as he returned to dancing with Reggie and she was nearby when Jayce was introduced to him. Toshiro would then offered some food to the blonde mage as they approached the buffet table and she soon tasted some of them. Some of them the blonde mage didn't like while some she liked, but she always let Toshiro try them as well. "It is not really for my taste but I guess that is alright..." the smoke mage said to one of the dish that he didn't really dislike but not really suited for him. "Hmm... this is rather good." the smoke mage added complementing one of the dish. It was then that the blonde mage would offer the smoke mage if he wanted to light a smoke. She seemed to have noticed that he put it out just before they dance and she knew about this habit of his. Well it is not bad if he could smoke now but seeing that they are still in the ball, the blonde mage might want to chat with other guests. "I can still manage, how about you? You might want to enjoy the dance more or talk to others?" Toshiro said thinking if Reggie still wants to stay. For him, if they did go out for him to smoke, they would be leaving the dance early. Toshiro is thinking of Reggie's sake at least at this moment rather than himself. |

It seemed that Toshiro wanted Reggie to have more time at the ball. "Why are you so good at being sweet?" Reggie said as she couldn't help but pinched Toshiro's cheeks lightly. "I love you." She said as she cupped his face and kissed him. The second dance was about to begin. And so the blonde wizard pulled Toshiro towards the dance floor as they hold hand in hand. The music started playing. This time, the dance is quite faster than their first dance. And there were other couples dancing with them. The blonde wizard beamed at anyone her eyes had caught as she would still dance gracefully with Toshiro. Her skirt was a bit impeding and so couples gave them a bit more space than the others. There was even a part where the ladies had to kick their skirt up. The movement looked lovely as they all kicked at the same time. "I love balls." She told Toshiro. Reggie was having a good time. One of the best nights of her life. As she felt dizzy, she would whisper to Toshiro. "Let's go to the terrace. The other couples want to join the dance floor. We're taking too much space because of my dress." She said as hand in hand they went towards the stairs that would lead them to the balcony. [Color]"Pardon the clichè but, alone at last."[/color] She said as she leaned to the balcony beside her noyfriend. In front of them was the palace garden was covered in snow. It was surprisingly not cold. It was a mini winter wonderland. "Quite lovely in here, isn't it?" She told him as she finally felt well. The fast dancing made her a bit dizzy. "Well, I know you are thinking about my sake. But for now, let me think about yours. So don't be upset with me if I brought you here." Reggie said as she looked at the night sky. The stars were out like diamonds on an ebony hair. "And besides, I always like the feeling of your smoke against my skin." She said as she blushed a bit. "Feels like how you run your hand against my skin." Reggie kept at looking at the stars as she leaned her head on his shoulder. She then wrapped her hands around his arm. "Are you going to light up the cigarette or are you going to light up the cigarette?" Reggie teased him. Reggie kept on staring at the night sky when she suddenly saw a shooting star. She quickly closed her eyes and wished that she would never be apart of Toshiro. The blonde wizard opened her eyes as she smiled at her boyfriend. "Are you having fun so far at the ball?" Reggie asked him. "Sorry if I'm too clingy. I just don't like watching you dance with some other girl. That would totally be heart breaking. And after what Jayce did, I am even more afraid to let go of you or lose sight of you." The blonde wizard confessed. "I guess I'm being the over-protective girlfriend." She said as she laughed at herself. |

The smoke mage decided that they could stay in the ball room for a bit more time so that the blonde mage could enjoy it more. The blonde mage seemed excited at the answer of her boyfriend while also complementing him on being compassionate to her with a kiss. Toshiro blushed a bit as he smiled at the blonde mage, looking at her smiling face. It didn't take that long until the next program of the ball would start, which is the next dance number. As the next song starts, the blonde mage proceed to bring the smoke mage into the dance floor for their next dance, but not before returning the plate of food on a table nearby. "Looks like it, you sure are enjoying yourself." the smoke mage would say as the two dance along the dance floor and after hearing the blonde mage mentioned that she loved the ball. "Just invite me anytime you want if there is one, you always know where I am." the smoke mage added. Their dance would soon be interrupted as the blonde mage herself decided that they should leave. She mentioned that they should head to the terrace and took hold of the smoke mage's hands as they waltz out of the dance floor and towards the stairs that should lead the balcony. The sound of the dance music would slowly soften as they move farther from the dance floor and would soon reached the terrace where it is a beautiful quiet night. The stars are shining brightly and there seemed to be a full moon present at that moment. The blonde mage would then proceed to ask if the smoke mage would light up his cigarettes while explaining she liked him smoking. "Quite lovely indeed, surprisingly the night is pretty quiet out here while noisy inside where the dance is happening." the smoke mage said as he soon heard the blonde mage mentioning him smoking. "I didn't know you think that much about me, I am touched. Don't worry, since we are already in the open air, I will light one up." the smoke mage said as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes before putting a piece of stick in his mouth. Toshiro listened to the blonde mage as he lights it up with his lighter he has in his pockets. "Yeah I am having fun, I am more concerned about you having fun as well though." the smoke mage said as he puff a few smoke as he gets his cigarette to light up. "Well I am always here for you, so don't need to worry much about it. Besides, don't you trust me that you have to be over protective and clingy? And I should be the one protecting you." the smoke mage said making a joke at the over protective thing. |

Reggie smiled at Toshiro as he told her that he was touched upon knowing that she was thinking about him. And so he decided to light up a cigarette since they were alreay outside. "Awww! You're my boyfriend. Of course I would think about you. I'm not the only star in this relationship. It's us against the world." She said as she felt her cheeks getting warm as she cuddled his arm beside her. Reggie then felt the warmth from the odorless smoke that came out from his mouth. It's exactly him. His warm smile. Warm attitude. The blonde wizard closed her eyes as she let the smoke touched her. She then told him about how clingy she is because of what happened earlier in the ball, during their first dance. The smoke wizard reassured her and told her that she should not be clingy or over-protective since he should be the one protecting her. "I trust you Toshiro. You told me you love me the first time you laid your eyes on me. You waited patiently for me and eventually, I fell in love with you and I still am in love with you. So I trust you that you will never break my heart ever." Reggie said as she giggled, knowing that Toshiro was joking about her not trusting him. "But honestly Tosh, I am a very jealous girl. I know it's bad but I promised you that I'm not possessive. I'm not crazy enough to be one yet." She told him laughing although she meant the first half of it. "And don't worry about me. I'm abosolutely fine here. I'm with you." Reggie told Toshiro as he might wonder if she's herself with him. "You told me that you would always be here for me. Now I want myself to be here for you. We are a couple after all. It's the two of us who should be working this relationship. Not just you. Or me. But you and me." She said as she tipped her toes and reached for him to kiss him. The two then shared a kiss, unknown to them that they were actually kissing underneath the mistletoe. |

The two continued on with their conversation right outside the balcony, right under the bright full moon. So far they are having a heartfelt conversation regarding their relationship. The smoke mage managed to light up a cigarette there with Reggie's approval as they proceed to discuss about each other. The blonde mage did mentioned that they are a couple that they are both thinking about one another, one may see this as cheesy but that is how they really are. The blonde mage also mentioned how much they love each other and even waited for each other until finally they are together once more. "I don't have any reason to do so, so why would I do that?" the smoke mage said to the blonde mage upon hearing her mentioning that he won't break her heart. Hearing that though reminds him of his past about his own parents, where both of them have left him when he was born. His mother died upon child birth while his father had disappeared, only for him to realize later on was trapped somewhere else trying to protect the world that no one knows that is in danger. Toshiro could only puff a few smoke at the thought surrounding the blonde mage with smoke. "Well crazy doesn't really suites you, just don't do anything that you would regret doing." the smoke mage mentioned after hearing the blonde mage making a joke about being jealous, possessive and crazy. "Well our relationship is doing well isn't it? So far we are making it work for the two of us. Even if we are in different guilds, the fact that we always meet up doesn't hinder us in terms of a long distance relationship." the smoke mage said as it is a good thing that he does travel a lot and isn't bound to Magnolia is a positive thing in their relationship, this way they could always travel together or even meet up somewhere else. The blonde mage would soon approached the smoke mage and goes closer to him. The two of them would soon kiss as they stood under the mistletoe. Edited by talon, Jan 23 2016, 06:16 AM.

It was a magical night for the two of them as the two shared a kiss underneath a mistletoe. Reggie then pulled away from Toshiro as she looked at him in the eyes. "I love you Toshiro." She whispered as she hugged him with her head on his chest. It was cold outside, but the warmth from his body and the smoke around them made Reggie ignore the cold. The blonde wizard felt happy as she remembered last year's winter ball. It was like a touch down. Their second winter ball together. Reggie looked at the night sky before them as she saw a wishing star. She closed her eyes and wished for the coming winter balls they would share with each other. And so the ball ended with the two of them sitting side by side in the golden carriage as they head back towards the guild hall, hands locked with each other as they shared a passionate kiss along the way.
