Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Logan Paul Dragon Slayer

Cyrus followed Ranth and Artorius, the three men had had some history together- and right now that alone would suffice in the knight's eyes.

Ranth had approached the blond earlier and stated that he had found some sort of way into the city wihtout walking straight into the incoming firefight. Trusting the archive mage and the dragon slayer, respectively, the knight rounded up a group of men he knew firsthand and brought them with him at the entrance to the sewers of Dandelion- their only way into the city without getting caught. It was quizzical though, with how often people snuck into things through sewers you'd expect that there'd be more security around them. Still, Dandelion was as unprotected as it was poor, soemthing which normally the blond pitied- yet now exploited as a way to save and salvage the decaying settlement.

Before the hour had passed, the three were up to their knees in shit. Literally.

Cyrus was glad he had his helmet on, the armor may have smelt like shit for the next month or so, but it made the stench somewhat more bearable, albeit barely. The knights behind them, in what armor and wepaons they had, didn't deal as well, often muttering under their breath about being in such a demeaning location or following the likes of two dark magi who they naturally didn't trust. The knight ignored their gripes, and if they did act out, then Cyrus would personally be the one to first testify for his less-than-scrupulous allies.

Still, Cyrus hoped the dragonslayer knew where he was going. Artorius seemed to have a knack for directions and whatnot, and the way in which he guided the group was somewhat comforting cosnidering their uncomfortable position. There was about eight of them in total, anymore and they would surely attract attention or be too large of a party to pass through quicikly. Their force wasn't the main one after all, this begged the question though- just what exactly was their goal as an auxiliary unit? The most obvious one was to take down Backstrom and end this invasion before it even started, but somehow Cyrus knew that this was going to be a far more problematic feat than the eight men were willing to admit. A man who can survive as a pariah in a foreign country for so long before conquering a portion of it (albeit a poverty stricken one) was still a man to be reckoned with. It would take more than eight men to take down such a figure.

Thus as the group filed out of the sewers one by one, Cyrus was the first to whisper what was on everyone's mind somehow.

"What's the plan?" he asked the two dark magi as quietly as he could. Who knew what traps or schemes Backstrom had prepared for the invading forces.

The army had started to move against Backstrom's forces positioned in Dandelion. Artillery were being lined up to start the long-range assault, but the question was if it was going to be doing any good? Especially considering that the majority of the enemy were entrenched in the city itself, and the Knights were (to Darion's disappointment) probably not willing to endanger the lifes of the civilians that still remained in the city's various buildings. One of the Knights seemed to be gathering a group of volounteers, one of them stopped in his tracks as Darion stepped infront of him. Cracking his neck, Darion looked the man in the eyes and asjed with a calm but intimidating voice; "You. Where is that Knight going with all the soldiers? The young soldier shook his head lightly, looking scared as hell, and only replied that he did not know but still wanted to help. Darion raised an eyebrow and stepped out of the way, shaking his head at these young Knights.

Unsheating his sword, Darion walked along with a company of soldiers that all looked as if they were going to sheit themselves at any moment now. Darion had little trust in Knights, nor did he like them very much, but they were not easy to join. So these little green-horns had obviously done something correctly.

As they continued to walk, Darion could feel the looks that the surrounding soldiers gave him. A man wearing dark clothes, mask, and had a sword with a cobra handle. They could not possibly know, but they could most likely guess that the man was a Dark Mage. Either that or a very well-armed undertaker. A young man that seemed to be around Darion's age looked at him from over his shoulder, but this was nothing unusual in Darion's mind, however the strange thing was that when Darion looked back, the man's eyes simply seemed to glow with a burning intensity. A fire of hatred. The man probably lost something or someone to dark mages or outcasts in the past and thought of Darion's as the same. Chuckling, Darion looked to the side only to see a strange serpentine woman, literally half human and half snake, talking with two guys. Mages from the looks of it.

Darion stopped in his tracks and sheated his sword before starting to walk over to the trio. He could not see the serpent lady's face, but while one of the guys was fairly tall, thin, and with crimson hair, the other one seemed to be younger and closer to Darion's age. That man was much shorter than the other man with white hair and silver eyes. Darion approached the trio and said in a calm voice with his Anguish still on him; "Pardon me, you would not happen to be mages? I have grown weary of the company of Knights namely, and would like to join you."

With that said he took a small bow and tipped his hat, showing his back-slicked black hair and the mask more clearly while introducing himself; I am Darion Steinheil, a member of Grimoire Heart. Pleasure."

"Fine I'll ask next time, bt it really is a nice tail"

Fukumura said, whistling and looking around them. He really couldn't pay attention on any one thing for too long after all. Mago sighed, and just remained rather quiet. Around them the knights were moving, shifting uncomfortably into position. It was almost time.

"Sadly no, I don't know any secret ways into this city... after all I've never been here before" Mago said, his gaze lingering on the young man who was coming their way. "C-cute??? No I'm a sexy beast, I SURPASS BEING SIMPLY CUTE!" Of course he couldn't just take the compliment, but whatever as long as Xaiyu didn't flip her shit it'd be fine.

Mago looked Darion up and down, not making a judgement.... just trying to see who exactly he was. "Feel free to tag along....." Mago said coldly, not bothering to further the conversation. "Dude your name is fucking awesome. I'm Fukumura! This is Mago.... and the boo- snake lady is uh shit.... what's your name again?" Fukumura turned towards Xaiyu, looking her right in the boobs. Then he turned his head suddenly at Darion. "OI OI OI! You from Grimoire heart huh? Well your lucky I don't whoop your ass right now! And by me I mean Mago, Mago will whip your ass! We're Raven Tail and-" Mago placed a firm hand over his mouth, sighing. "Fukumura we're all allies out here..... besides Raven Tail has no reason to attack the other dark guilds" Fukumura said something inaudible through his hand, then gave up.

In the sewers near Artorius and crew

Two men, Backstrom's, wandered the sewers looking for anything. The bantered back and forth, talking about how awful it smelt down here and that it was a waste of time. Turns out it wasn't. The echo of Artorius's voice reached them before he did. They froze in their tracks and then continued slowly and carefully. Both of them were clad in armor, and one carried a sword, the other a staff. Both of their helmets were hooked into Backstom's communication network via magic, they sent their discovery back to the base and from there it'd be relayed to whoever Backstrom decided to send down for backup, if he even did.

The two proceeded with caution, looks like they were fighting a downhill battle. Good. "Oi you three are trespassing on uh... whatever your on Dandelion Sector territory, which no long belongs to Fiore. So if you don't want us to kill you just come along quietly and we'll give you a spot in our city..... and a job to do" The one with the staff spoke, already preparing for a battle. He assumed these guys were either rebels or some kind of invading force.... a small one but they might just be a scouting party. The one with the sword raised his weapon. The staff one erected a barrier in front of the both of them, just in case the scouting party decided to fight back. "So what'll it be? Please just come quietly.... the General said that he didn't want us to hurt the people....."

Stay the course.

Artorius looked at the men with a combination of derision and skepticism. Had Backstrom intentionally sent such cowardly men to defend the city's backdoor to demotivate and demoralize them? No, it didn't matter. Whether or not they were indoctrinated, Artorius expected them to know what it meant to fight as a soldier, to fight in a war. Silently, the pale man drew his sword and approached. The two soldiers stepped back, afraid and hesitant, and the mage pushed greater power into the barrier.

Raising his sword, Artorius smashed it into the barrier. The two soldiers screamed, and then Artorius struck again. There was no form or grace in his swings, just plain anger and frustration, like a miner breaking apart pickaxe with a chip on his shoulder. Each swing cracked the barrier further and further, and every time, the soldiers would flinch and step back, until finally the barrier broke and they were cornered.

"Your General has already hurt the people," Artorius said with fury and grit in his voice. "Where can we find him?!" he shouted, surprising himself with how much raw emotion was coming out of his mouth. Without knowing it, Artorius had pointed his sword at their throats, just inches from killing one of them. He shuddered, finding disgrace and dishonor in his actions, and withdrew his sword into its scabbard.

After they answered, or if they didn't, Artorius gave both a swift palm strike to the head, knocking them out cold. He tried not to think about what those men said, nor the possibility of Backstrom actually doing good in this city, instead focusing only on the mission -- killing Backstrom.

Artorius led them through a series of bends in the sewers, before they found a latter that reached a manhole at the top. Artorius threw the manhole off the port with a single hand before leaping up. There, at the top, was a manmade fountain that shot water off high into the air. Artorius stepped into the waters, cleaning off the muck and stench, before using his smoke magic at its finest precision to destroy the scent particles and cover them up. As he finished washing off, Artorius looked around. They were in the Windsor Quarter, one of the most regal and elaborately designed areas in all of Dandelion. Or it was, but all the marble and bronze had been broken and stripped off, and nobles were hung off the roofs of their buildings.
