Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

A lady would step on the slabs of Belladonna. Preferably at the slabs of Belladonna's walkway. Beauty, She'd think of this while her eyes would observe the city of Belladonna. Syndra have stayed at the City for a week already yet citizens in beautiful clothes would still roam Belladonna. Some of them are city workers, market vendors and such. Syndra gave herself a small smile after her eyes meet the wonderful architectures of the City. It sure bloomed into a marvelous city, That's what she could say. But what called her attention was a man whose asking for an old lady's rent payment for putting her goods on a stall. It seems that the old lady was renting on the stall to sell goods, but It seems she doesn't have any jewels to pay for the rent at the moment. Syndra would cross her arms, observing. ''Beast'', She'd whisper while her eyes are locked on an old lady being beaten by the rich old man. Syndra would stay on her spot, observing the current situation, The lady doesn't want to call any attention by doing a heroic act. She's not into that. Beauty and the Beast. What a fitting story of Belladonna. A group of teenagers would stop the rich man from his acts before helping the old lady. The crowd would lessen which is her calling already. Syndra walked pass the market reaching a certain alley. Her eyes would gaze upon the dark alley where homeless, or not are lurking. She would squint her eyes as maybe dark transactions are being done below. ''It's the Beasts of the City'' She'd comment before walking away once more. Whether someone is following her, or not. Syndra would move over the Belladonna's Park. There, She would take a sit on a bench enjoying the radiant light of the sun. Syndra would put her gaze on a noisy bunch of children playing on the grassy field of the park. They would chase each other while laughing, enjoying the moment they are sharing. She would smile once again. ''Every city contains beauty and beasts. But the best part is, how would they cope up with these two?'' Syndra would tell to herself, not caring whether someone can hear her or not.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

Kaladin gripped the piece of paper in his hand like his life depending on it and in a way... it did. He was barely comfortable in the streets of Poinsettia where he was finally growing comfortable with calling home. However, as his honeymoon period in Blue Pegasus wore off and the guild master had deemed him sufficiently settled in he'd been given his first mission. Well... perhaps that had been a slight exaggeration, because the piece of paper in his hand was actually a shopping list and his reason for being here was to gather a few items on the guild master's behalf.

But for Kaladin, socially uncomfortable as he was, this simple task felt as daunting as a even the most difficult B class mission. Now that he'd arrived in Belladonna however, he was noticing just hos different it was to Poinsettia. For starters, the whole place seemed somehow... dirtier. It wasn't that someone had forgotten to clean the gutters however, it was in the people that he saw it. The scent of unwashed bodies, the blank gazes of those trapped in the dreary monotony of their daily lives.

For the most part he kept himself to himself, he'd been reminded countless times by his well meaning guild mates that nobody was paying him as much attention as he thought they were, but unfortunately for Kaladin he was quite an eye catching figure. Even if he hadn't been wearing almost entirely white with a large backpack which was half full of the thing's he'd managed to secure so far, he still possessed looks that fit in perfectly with the stereotype of Blue Pegasus.

As a result, he'd attracted more than a few catcalls and pointed looks from both men and woman, all of which had caused him no small measure of discomfort and he'd quickened his pace on each occasion to leave the offenders behind. After one such encounter his brisk escape brought him out of the crowded markets and into the park that filled the centre of the city. Almost immediately the sight of tree's and grass instead of concrete and plaster put him at ease. That was, at least, until his wandering brought him into view of a woman sitting on a one of the benches that lined the road and he stopped in his tracks.

She had white hair that was similar in colour to his own, but she wore purple which somehow managed to contrast with her otherwise pale hair and skin in such a way that both were highlighted. In other words, she was quite a sight to behold and as he heard her recite what sounded like a line of poetry he felt his social anxiety slam him in the chest and root him in place. he couldn't move forward, he couldn't move back, all he was capable of at that moment was staring stupidly while his hands became cold and clammy and the back of his neck prickled with nerves.

Paradise was the perfect word that befits Beladonna's Park. Even though she's been locked with the ideas of Beauty and The Beast, Syndra could not stop but to shrug it off. Her gaze would move to her right side where a presence of an old man would be seen. It was pointing at the bench she was sitting, Maybe he wants a seat?, Syndra would slide herself to the left side of the bench giving enough space for the old man. He smiled before helping himself by sitting. He would sigh heavily before setting his eyes to her. ''A-A-are you educated?'' Syndra would look at him refusing to show how shocked she was. He's a rude man afterall. She would slowly twist her head to the right refusing to talk further with the man. Syndra doesn't want to explode just because a man asked if he was educated. She knew that she was but a reply won't be needed. ''C-C-an you r-read this book f-for me, Please?'' A weak voice would please the lady, His weak hands would touch her shoulders. She could feel that he was shivering. Is he scared? For what reason? or maybe, It was because of the sack--clothes he's wearing? whatever the reason is. He's bothering me with his low request Syndra would look directly at the man's face full with emotionless, cold feeling. The man lifted his hands from her shoulder at this point. Syndra would sigh pulling the book gently. ''You'll stop bothering me as soon as I finish reading the book. Do you understand?'' She'd ask while her eyes are locked on the book. ''The Beauty..and The Beast'' Syndra would recite in a cold voice before opening it. Is this a children's book? Ugh

She would open the first page at this moment. Her peripheral vision would notice the man's smile. He was excited but she's not. That's their difference. He was too simple but she could not stop herself but have a sympathy smile towards the man. Syndra started reading the book. After a minute, She would close the book. The storytelling session she had was finish anyway. Syndra would slowly stand putting her gaze at the old man sleeping at the bench. He fell asleep while carrying a wonderful smile with him. She would place the book at her spot before walking backwards to check the man for the last minute. Syndra would turn around nearly bumping to a boy. Atleast that what's she think. The boy lacks any muscular features afterall. She'd look at his eyes gazing through them as if she wants to check through the boy's soul. Pale, White clothes, White hair. He's not into white I suppose Syndra would slowly gaze at his hair, while her eyes would move down, Slowly. It was clear that Syndra was observing the boy whether that offends him or not. He's not a local citizen. Atleast that's what she had in mind but that doesn't affect the boy. He can't read minds anyway. Syndra would slowly move her head back to the man's face after observing him. ''I apologize. I nearly bump into you.'' She'd speak in a cold tone while her eyes are locked unto his. Syndra would nod before walking to the side. She's going back to the concrete side of Belladonna, leaving the Paradise she had in mind.

Kaladin was taken aback by the manner in which the girl addressed him as she stood up and made to walk by him. After he'd just witnessed her reading that old man a book of some kind he'd been both impressed and in awe of not just her kindness, but also in her ability to just... be so confident around total strangers. Part of him wanted to ask her how she did it, part of him wanted to apologise for staring and for nearly getting in her way- even if it would have been entirely her fault if she had walked into him on account of him being stationary. But he also wanted to ask her what she saw when she looked at him so intently.

However, rather than any of that, when words finally did leave his lips they were neither articulate nor profound and he hated himself for it. "Uh, excuse me... miss", his voice barely loud enough to carry to the girl's ears. "Is... is it safe to just... leave him there?" As if the subject of his words wasn't obvious enough, Kaladin was kind enough to point to the slumbering old man who was still dozing on the bench.

It was late afternoon and the man was clearly homeless, but Kaladin had heard terrible stories about what could happen to people in the big cities when they were on their own- especially if they were weak or vulnerable. He didn't think it was the right thing to do leaving the old man there, defenseless as he was. But nor did he know what else to do or how to approach him either. In other words, he was hoping that the girl would show some of the same kindness that she had not so long ago in finding the old man somewhere to spend the night- again something which Kaladin was woefully ignorant of.

As if to reinforce Kaladin's worries for the old man's health, clouds began to gather overhead. Sweeping in from the east they brought with them a steady decline in temperature and the promise of rain in the not too distant future, which caused the old man to begin to cough despite still being asleep. With finger less gloves, shorts and a worn shirt with what may have once been a jumper that had now been reduced to a threadbare piece of cloth he was clearly ill equipped to handle exposure to the elements.

Syndra was about to leave the park when the boy called her. I'm just hoping that. This would not include any ''bothersome'' stuffs She'd turn around letting the words of him go through her. She would grit her teeth while her emotionless face would look directly into his eyes. The lady would finally found herself speaking, ''I'm sorry but we had a talk a while ago. Once i read the book for him he would stop bothering me. That includes me, having no responsibility over him'' She'd cross her arms while having these words process through him. ''Besides, If you're worried about his presence in the park. You should help him. The universe will not present you helpful hands every single time.'' Whether it came from a book she'd read before. The lady uttered these lines withought forethought but she knew that those words were important. Syndra would held her head high. She knew water would drop in any minute, The lady turn around. Dissapearing from the park. Maybe not to leave them? Syndra would enter a local shop putting her gaze around the merchandises on the shop. ''Do you have any umbrellas to sell?'' The shopkeeper would nod, rushing over stall to stalls. Syndra would move over the counter grabbing few jewels on her pocket. Even though she'd need them on her next trip, Syndra prefers to do a little favor on the boy. Probably, This would stop him bothering the lady. Minutes passed with Belladonna receiving a blessing from the higher ups. The rain would have gentle yet cold drops which made Syndra a little bit happier. She'd grab the umbrellas before leaving the shop. Opening one of the umbrella, Syndra would walk over the park once again. Her eyes would gaze over the man at the park, going back to the boy in white clothes. ''Here. Grab these umbrellas'' She would have her usual cold tone with her eyes looking directly at the boy. I wonder if the rain would continue until I decide to leave the City?
