Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

For the Team Edward Sucks (literally) Team!

Willow walked up to the area where her letter had told her to go to. It seemed as if it was going to be a normal Halloween party with normal every day people dressed up in normal (and maybe not so normal) costumes. Well that was good and all, but not why she was here. As Willow was going around town, she had heard that this little party was going to be a stakeout for a group of vampires trying to get an easy free meal. A part of her didn't exactly believe in them, but it was the season and even if it wasn't real vampires, the way that it was being said sounded at the very least that people were gonna die. And as a Fairy Tail mage, Willow couldn't exactly let people die.

So Willow rolled up in a vampire countess outfit, trying her best to blend in a bit. Maybe if she was lucky, she would find someone or something that was out of the ordinary. But from the looks of it, it was just really a normal party. There were people bobbing for apples out of a barrel, there was a haunted house where people could go into and see if they were even brave enough to get through the whole thing without screaming, there was even a dance floor area where people could just go and party it up. And don't forget about the punch and little snakes and all the door prizes. What kind of horror killing scene was this? It only made Willow that more irritated about the whole thing. Why did she come here if there was nothing going on?

As an agitated sigh came from the brunette, she thought that maybe it was a good idea to maybe go on over the food and drink area and get something in her stomach before trying to hunt down people who might or might not be vampires. As she wondered over there, it seemed as if the food there was rather....interesting. There was a cake, butt he cake was the shape (and actually looked like) a real heart with the frosting and glaze looking like real blood. There was also finger food. As in some kind of food that actually looked like fingers. And a bunch of different things. Brains, bats, rats, and everything else you could imagine for a good old disgusting, yet yummy, Halloween treat. As for the punches, there was one that looked like slime, one that looked like blood, one that had eyes floating in it, and one that was just rum and other things. Alright nothing too suspicious here.

So getting into the theme of her costume, Willow pour herself a glass of that red stuff and took a sip.She half expected it to taste something like blood. What it did taste like happened to be nothing more than a fruit punch. Again, nothing out of the ordinary here. As she swirled her drink, Willow was thinking that maybe this was just going to be a party after all and that there was nothing to really worry about. And if that was the case, then why hadn't she just gone to this with a friend? Oh that's right, because she was actually lacking in friends. Another heated sigh left her lips as she continued walking through the forest to see if there was anything else that caught her eye.

Eyes turned to the starry sky, masked by the tall forest canopy, Jaxus took a deep, long inhale, experiencing the refreshing night air of the forest. "Man Persies, this place is great..." For once, Jaxus was resting in Poinsettia, his town of residence rather than exploring some god forsaken area where danger was abound. Abit boring for Jaxus' tastes, but it was nice to have just abit of relaxation time inbetween his vigorous training regime. "Caaaw..." //Yeeeaah...// Persies let out a quiet call, feathers ruffled and fluffed up as she rested on Jaxus' left shoulder, eyes closed with her head tucked into her majestic coat of feathers at the chest. Like Jaxus, she enjoyed her relaxation time, which was quite rare. After all, making sure Jaxus didn't do anything stupid was a full time job for her.

Luckily, Jaxus had heard of a party going on in the nearby forest, which couldn't have had more perfect timing now that he was back in town!~ In fact, he wasn't wearing his normal attire, but a rather strange costume in the spirit of Halloween. Dressed up in a Purple Gi, a black undershirt, amethyst colored contact lenses, and a magically operated, monkey tail attached to black sash style belt, he was dressed up as the protagonist of his (Only) favorite book. Legend of the Monkey Fist! The outfit was topped with a red headband, wrapped around his forehead under his bangs, just like the iconic hero in the book. The finishing touch, of course, was a set of false fangs which he wore, emulating the protagonists sharp, primal fangs. Soon enough, Jaxus could see the lights of the party up ahead. "Heheh.~ This should be fun.~"

Entirely ignoring his strange entrance, Jaxus walked right through the thick brush of the forest into clear view of the party, giving a smile with a wide grin to the party goers. Unknown to himself, however, if the rumors were true, he perhaps would gain more attention than he hoped. With his short statue and apparent lack of muscle tone, he would surely "seem" as if he was easy prey for any stalking vampires. "Heya, Persies! Wake up!~ Let's find the snack table!~" "Sqwack?! Caaaw?!" //What!? food?!// Persies immediately awoke at the mention of a free meal, and a large one at that.~

As Jaxus walked through the party, his eyes carefully took note of the people throughout the party goers. There was apple bobbing, a haunted house, and many other festivities. It seemed truly harmless in nature. "Heya, Persies, look at this!~" As they finally reached the food table, Jaxus grinned excitedly as he noticed the extensive work on the foods aesthetics, pointing them out to Persies. "Caaw-caaw...?" //What are those...?// "Oh, right, it's yer' first Halloween Party, huh Persies?~" Jaxus laughed at his birds confusion, reaching over to gently pat her on the head. "During this time, people do a bunch of creepy, super cool stuff.~ It's a time to really cut loose and get creative.~ Eheheh!~" Unable to control his chuckle, Jaxus grabbed one of the nearby cupcakes with a large, gummy spider on top, taking a huge bite. "Go on, try it Persies.~" Offering the cupcake to the bird on his shoulders, Persies cocked her head to the side, eyeing the food with a certain discrimination. After a brief moment, she reached forward and took a bite.

"Caaaw!" Persies immediately made a delighted caw, flapping down off of Jaxus shoulders to explore the strange, fascinating foods on the table as Jaxus began to do the very same. Picking up various sweets, and anything that had meat in it, Jaxus began to take bite after bite with little regard for what he had in his mouth already, feasting upon the banquet. They had only been there for two minutes, and Persies and himself were already crashing the party and eating all the food. After all, walking all around Fiore really had built an appetite.~

"Huh..." Mouth full of food, Jaxus paused, mouth gaping moment as he half chewed, swearing he could pick up a familiar figure in the crowd. //That's uh...Willow?// Jaxus struggled to remember her name, and while correct, doubted his own ability to retain the information correctly, which created abit of an awkward situation. Yet, as he further analyzed the costume she was wearing, he blushed brightly, immediately breaking his eye contact away as he nervously shifted his attention to the ground below him. //Should I say something...?// After all, there was a certain connection built with someone when going through experiences like the time they met at that mansion. Unusual for himself, Jaxus remained quiet, raising his hand below chest level and giving a slight wave in the direction of Willow with a friendly yet nervous, hoping to perhaps gain her attention without embarrassing himself too much.

She continued to look around the place and it really wasn't anything interesting at all. A bunch of friends all hanging out with one another in small groups, couples being all couple like, and people trying to scare one another. What was so interesting about this again? Or right, she was meant to be looking out for vampires. But no one looked like a real one. Sure there were a few other people who dressed up as vampires like she did, but nothing super exciting as to a real life one. This was going to be a rather disappointing show now wasn't it?

As her red eyes scanned the group of people, she had noticed a familiar face in the crowd. Actually two familiar faces. It was Jaxus and Persies. What were they doing here? Were they just here for the party? Or where they here because they heard something about this vampire group coming into town and killing everyone too? Well there really was only one way to find out now wasn't there? She was heading on over.

Walking on over to the boy and his pet, Willow gave him a wave back before speaking to him. "Hello, I didn't exactly expect you to be here tonight. It was Jaxus, right? The one who wanted to become a Wizard Saint? How is that going?" Alright a bit of small talk could go a long way. Not exactly Willow's forte, but whatever. Something was better than nothing right? After all it was kind of rude to go out and directly say 'hello, I remember you. You were from that one time at that mansion where we almost died right? Yeah glad to see you didn't die. Good job on the night dying part.' A very not good way to start a conversation.

Taking a sip of her drink, she listened to whatever he had to say before speaking again. "So what brings you here? I'm assuming it's for the party? Unless you heard wind of a group of vampires as well?" Maybe he did in fact get wind of that. Maybe he was on top of this. But, then again, he might not have heard anything about a mass murder being planned all the way out here in the middle of the forest. Maybe he just didn't get the memo or something. And if that was the case, maybe she could recruit him into hunting down the vampires with her. Two, or maybe in this case three, sets of eyes were a lot better than one.

Taking a once over at his costume, it was actually an interesting pick. Most people dressed up as monsters or even food. The food ones really didn't exactly make much sense but whatever. That wasn't something that Willow was going to deal with. If idiots wanted to dress up as a hotdog, they could dress up as a hot dog. Regardless, that wasn't what she was exactly wanting to get fixated on. What she was looking at was his outfit choice. "You know, your costume is a much better choice than mine if we had to suddenly start doing something other than standing around."

And as if it was right on cue, a group of girls entered stage right until they got to the loud speakers. One girl, who had bright pink hair, picked up the microphone and cleared her throat. "ATTENTION ALL PARTY GOERS! CAN I HAVE EVERYONE PLEASE GATHER ROUND? WE HAVE AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO TELL EVERYONE TONIGHT!"

"Yuh-Huh.~ Glad ya' remember.~ Good to see ya' Willow.~" "Ca-aaw!" //Willow!~// Persies flapped her wings about in a non threatening, friendly manner, as if pleased. "Persies said hi by the way.~ Eheh.~" Jaxus chuckled in a sincere fashion, placing his left hand over the back of his neck, nervously rubbing it as it threaded afew fingers through his long hair. "Anyway, I ain't gonna' be a Wizard Saint fer' awhile.~ I still need ta' learn more about the world fer' that title, ya' know?~ Siiiddees, long stories are always the best ones.~ I'll get there someday.~" In a rare instance, Jaxus showed both humility, and an appreciation for stories. Yet, he seemed abit nervous admitted he knew how far he had to go, embarrassed even, perhaps.

As Willow asked why he was attending the party, Jaxus grabbed a sandwich while keeping his attention on Willow, using his peripheral vision quite accurately to specifically grab a roast beef sandwich, which was drenched in a blood colored, barbecue sauce, taking a small bite. One thing odd about Jaxus, while quite goofy, his eyes commonly could have an intense focus seen in them, even when he was perfectly calm like now. Simply said, he kept a sharp focus on everything when possible, partially out of curiosity, and partially out of a focus to learn as much about the world as possible.

"Vampires, eeyyy...?~" Speaking in a quiet tone, Jaxus chewed for afew moments, placing his hand across his chin for a moment, eyes directing upwards as he attempted to recall past information. After a brief second, he spoke in a quiet, hushed voice. "Well, I heard somethin' like that, but I kinda' think it's a bunch of malarkey.~ I don't think anyone'a would be that stupid.~ Blue Pegasus is in Poinsettia, after all.~" Jaxus childishly stuck out his tongue at Willow, closing his eyes with a cheeky expression, showing off his BP guild mark to reinforce his point. "But ya' know..." Retracting his tongue, Jaxus cheeky expression grew a minor smirk. "I helped slay a vampire before, ya' know.~ So I figured why not check it out.~" It was perhaps abit eerie, Jaxus expression was as friendly as could be as he gave a minor shrug and a chuckle, yet, while dismissing the group of vampires as myth, he had decided to investigate it anyway. Perhaps his most odd feature, despite his goofy personality, he had a strange knack for picking up details and observing situations. Perhaps he was smart, just not in the ways people would expect.

"Ey, uh...really?"
As Willow complimented his costume's practicality, he immediately was caught off guard, grinning in a childish fashion as his cheeks turned red. "Well, uh, it's a costume from the hero from "Legend of the Monkey Fist.~ I've read most of the books abunch'a times.~ Their my favorite hero ever!~" The monkey tail costume flicked back and forth in response to his happiness as he spoke with passion, causing Persies to tilt her head and take note of it, weaving her head side to side as she followed it's movements. Her instincts just urged her to rip the tail apart. Perhaps it was the falcon in her, mistaking it for a snake...

"Ya' got a pretty cool costume as well...really nice details.~" The words were sincere, but as he said it, there was a slight, awkward pause as Jaxus innocently chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck again with his left hand. "Oh hey.~" Before things could progress much further, however, the seemed to be called to attention for an important message regarding the events. "What'cha think they're gonna' say?~" Jaxus turned to Willow, asking out of curiosity, not quite aware Willow was probably didn't know either, none the less that he's learn in afew moments.

Well no one could say that this kid was lacking in the good attitude area. Even in the face of something as terrible as a possible vampire attack, he could still come out smiling. Alright so this kid wasn't totally annoying. No there were far worse people out there that were beyond his level. And plus he kind of grew on her from the last events that had happened. Regardless, he seemed to be doing good and that was good.

A smile formed upon her lips, which was rare to begin with, as she spoke. "Well at least we both know that we have your guild working on this just in case something does go down. I am glad that we have you on this. I'm sure it isn't anything too terrible as I have yet to actually find something wrong in this area." And, as just stated, there really didn't seem like a whole lot going on. Maybe this was just something that was going on in her head, just someone trying to make a joke and get everyone scared, or maybe get some really weird people out to party.

Her smile faded as she looked at her costume. It was a bit...well not exactly as modest as you would like to have it but it wasn't too revealing. Regardless, it was seemingly fitting for the evening. "Truth be told I just picked it up before coming here. It was one of the last things on the shelf. I wanted to blend in with a vampire group if there was one. But it only looks like there are a bunch of girls and boys dressed up as them." She shrugged and let it be. No point in going past those details.

And so the two went on over to see what was going on with the group of five girls that had entered stage right. As everyone gathered around, the girl with the pink hair continued to smile. It was rather weird to see her smiling so wide. How does one have that kind of smile? Don't girls like that get tired of it? Whatever. Not her face so not her problem. Willow just wanted to get this little meeting or whatever it was over with and maybe get back to a real party.

"And welcome everyone! So a lot of you are here because you heard that there was a rad party going on!" Most everyone cheered and whooped and whatever else. That seemed to make pinky happy. She continued. "And some of you here are actually here because you heard some rumors of a vampire group possibly coming out to a party with these fine people and killing everyone! Am I right?" Silence. It was actually very apparent not one person who had come here looking for a party had heard anything about that. "Well I will tell you that the last part might be true! Ready girls?"

The other four girls (One with Blue hair, Green hair, Purple hair, and Red hair) moved around pinky, all nodding to one another. Suddenly some kind of spell happened and the five girls all smiled at one another before the pink haired girl spoke to the group of people again. "Well now that the spell is over with....I hope you are all now happy with your new life choices! Don't get eaten!" In a blink of an eye, the five girls raced off and vanished into the night, leaving everyone standing there baffled.

Willow could only blink at what just happened. I mean really, what just happened? Whatever just happened, she needed a drink. Good thing she had something in her hand. Taking a sip, the fruit punch tasted differently. It tasted metallic like, yet for some reason it wasn't bad. She enjoyed it. "Jaxus....do you feel....different?" Her tongue went from one side of her mouth to the other, brushing against her fangs....fangs? When did she have those? A scream was heard from the refreshment table. Something about how the heart cake was alive. "Did we just turn into what we're wearing?"

As the girl with pink hair spoke, Jaxus calmly watched on as the masses cheered, focusing intensely on the surroundings. Despite the rather innocent air of the party, Jaxus was on top alert, Persies looking left to right on his shoulder. The very moment she mentioned the vampire rumors, Jaxus eyes slowly squinted, focusing on the physical details of the girl, and not in a traditional sense. No, now he had a suspicion of where a vampire was. His suspicions were only confirmed as the other girls gathered around her, smiling. Before Jaxus knew it, the spell was cast without his realization, and as the pink haired girl spoke, he realized something was amiss...all to late.

Before he could move into action, all of them scattered out into the night in a flash. "...Fast..." As Jaxus was caught up in the situation, Willow brought up a good point, directing Jaxus to scan over his own being. He couldn't find a single thing wrong at first, that is, until Willow mentioned the fact they have have turned into what they were wearing. Immediately, Jaxus reached up to touch his fake, enlarged canine teeth, attempting to wiggle them off. ...Nope. "Huh..." With that, Jaxus reached over to his tail and gave it a light yank to bring it closer. "YOUCH!" Annnd, he pulled it way too hard. Little did he realize now, his eyes were an entirely different color, a bright, majestic amethyst!

Jaxus flinched, and the oak brown monkey tail flicked about, seemingly joined to his very being now right through the costume. Even the white, paintbrush styled tip of the tail flicked about ever so realistically. "This is kinda' cool..." "Ca-Caaaw...Caa-Ca-Caaaw..." //Idiot, focus. Deadly vampires, remember...?// "...Oh...Right." Persies didn't even bother mentioning the eyes, the boy didn't need "another" distraction with the situation at hand. With a deep sigh, Jaxus turned to the crowds, who were quickly growing restless. For a moment, Jaxus began to wander in circles aimlessly, slowly looked around in all directions with a clueless expression. Finally, discerned his orientation by using the stars and moon, turning his body towards the city, and more specifically, the Blue Pegasus Guild, Jaxus dropped his weight and took a stance, turning his right side back as he clasped his hands together. "...HAAAAAH!" Suddenly, he'd whip his body forward, unleashing a nearly five foot in diameter beam of searing light high into the sky, reaching a full seventy five meters out, as if reaching through the sky towards the guild! If that wasn't a warning signal, Jaxus had no clue what would get their attention!

Slowly, but surely, the light of the beam faded away, leaving Jaxus to take a deep breath, perhaps abit strained from the use of the technique at maximum range. Getting out of stance, Jaxus clasped his left palm over his right shoulder, rolling it in place as he limbered up approaching Willow once more. "Hopefully someone at the guild get's our S.O.S...Willow, ya' got a plan? It's going to be hard ta' hunt them down and protect the everyone here..." With any luck, the blast of light may have grabbed the civilians attention, and if either Willow or Jaxus acted swiftly, perhaps it would be possible to organize them in some way to maximize their chances of survival.

Willow was feeling so weird. She was thirsty. No hungry...no...both. How was this thirst and hunger the same feeling? She took another sip of her drink and...actually that was what she wanted. Her red eyes glanced down at her drink and stared at it. It was thick. It tasted like, well it tasted really good, but, it tasted like metal. This couldn't have been right. This couldn't have been a good thing. And as she was about to speak, Jaxus sent up a beam of light into the sky. That was a great plan. He said that with that beam of light, his guild should all be coming to help. That should work.

But it seemed as if things were going to take a turn for the worst. A moment after his beam went up, a pink one was sent after it. And not too long after that, the other colors seemed to shoot up as well. Great. Well there went that plan. A groan escaped from her as she held her face. "That went well."

She let out a huff and removed her hand from her face, looking at all the tasty peo- all the terrified people around them. They needed to think of something on their own. Maybe if they just..."Jaxus...I think the group of vampires that were talked about are people dressed up as vampires."

The realization hit her all too quickly. These witches were saying something about how they, the people at the party, had to now deal with their life choices. Their new life choices. People dressed up as so many things on Halloween. Vampires, ghosts, Red Riding Hood, Werewolves...their favorite Mage....How many different Ryos were going to be running around? For that matter, how many Noels or Erics or...Guild Masters. She turned her attention back to Jaxus and placed a hand upon his shoulder. They needed to focus. She needed to focus. "Jaxus. Do you recall where those beams of light came from? Just one of them would be enough. I think this party was a trap of some kind. Or some really twisted game those five girls are playing. We need to reverse this spell and change people back to the way they were before things get out of hand."

Her gaze shifted to the groups of people around them. Some were creaking out that they had turned into what they were dressing up as and other were still freaking out about the food and refreshment table. And not just about the beating heart cake. The finger foods turned into real fingers. The eyeballs in the punch? The punch itself? God what kind of mad house was this about to turn into in about two minutes? "We have to do something and stop innocent people from killing more innocent people. Understand?" hopefully he did. Hopefully this wasn't going to turn into a slaughter.

"Eeey?" Jaxus looked up to the sky with a sudden twitch as a pink beam rose into the sky, followed by a barrage of similar beams, different in color shined straight into the sky above. "Oiii! You bastards get out here and fight us!" Jaxus shook his fist into the sky, yelling at the height of his lungs towards where the beams had originated from. "E-Eh?!? What'cha' mean?" As Willow astutely observed who and where the actual vampire threat was, Jaxus cocked his head in a confused stupor. "W-Wait! You mean...!?" Jaxus suddenly realized the problem as he looked around left and right, taking note of the all the people who were terrified, and at risk. What was going to happen, could he stop all of this before it was too late? His mind began to race in a dizzying way, overwhelmed with thoughts, tactics, and a heavy, heavy sense of overwhelming responsibility. For a moment, it felt as if the stress was going to break him!

"...Eh?" As Jaxus looked to the crowds, he felt a hand on his shoulder, turning to Willow with a surprised, goofy look, as if taken aback, yet, his heart slowed down, and his breathing began to return to normal, now centered back on the task at hand due to Willow. "Y-Yeah~ I saw exactly where two of em' were at least..." Jaxus took a deep, long breath calming himself, attempting to think of a plan of action. His now Amethyst eyes glistened with light, and his tail swayed back and forth as he listened to Willow, closing his eyes gently as he gathered his resolve. "Aye, I understand..." Jaxus nodded, retaining a calm expression as he responded to Willow. "Persies..." Slowly, but with a certain firm confidence, Jaxus opened his eyes, revealing his signature, golden burning gaze of light as he turned to his traveling partner. "Persies, you keep the peace here, make sure no one hurts eachother, alright?" "Ca-Caw, Caaw!" //You can count on me!// Persies flew off into the skies above from Jaxus shoulder, spiraling the crowds and in the instance of a fight, she'd intervene. Taking a deep breath, Jaxus paused for a moment, gathering his energy.

"OI, OI, OI, OI, OI! EVERYONE! SHUT UP! AND, CALM, DOWN!" Flaunting his deafeningly loud voice, Jaxus attempted to use the sheer, volume and bluntness of his point to grab everyone's attention in a sudden, gutsy move, before sticking his tongue out to the crowd, creating a golden orb of light near his pointing index finger to illuminate the symbol is on his tongue before contracting it and extinguishing the orb. "Blue Pegasus will protect everyone, but ya' need to stay calm! That spell they cast is weird, but if we beat them, it'll work out! I'm sure of it!" With that, Jaxus would raise both hands, extending all fingers to the crowd in a hands open motion. "Ten minutes, no more! In ten minutes, this'll be fixed!" On that last bit, Jaxus pressed his thumb into his heart, giving a nod to the crowd with a confident aura. "I promise!"

It wasn't much, but Jaxus attempted to give the crowd an incentive to stay calm, a reason to have hope. If they descended into chaos and panic, a slaughter was only inevitable. If Jaxus could give them a hope of returning back to normal, he hoped he'd have the ten minutes he needed. Even then, against such strong magic, he knew ten minutes may have been a stretch. He'd look to Willow, now far more calm, and surprisingly focused. "If this spell is supposed ta' be fer' a lifetime, then I guess our best bet..." Jaxus shifted his attention to the direction of the pink beam, the contrast compared to the night making it easier to pick out. "Is ta' beat the crap out of em' until they turn everyone back!~ I saw one of em' this way!" With that, Jaxus kicked off straight ahead in a sprinting motion. "Come on Willow, this way!"

Alright good. It seemed as if he was focusing. He seemed to be having a slight panic attack before she placed her hand upon him but he was calm now. So calm in fact, he shouted out to everyone that everything was going to be alright. Yeah. Like that was going to happen. Like all of this was going to get fixed in....ten minutes? Was this guy an idiot? How did he expect this all to be done in ten minutes? Was it even ten minutes to any one of those girls? And now people were going to be counting down those minutes, those seconds.

She was already counting down the seconds until she started going crazy herself. How long was she going to have before she wanted to take a bite out of someone? I mean, the monkey tailed Jaxus was actually looking fairly good to- No. She was not just thinking that. Oh hell no she was not just thinking that. Willow was already failing this ten minute rescue and she hadn't even started.

Shaking her head, Willow turned her attention back to Jaxus and nodded. He had said something about going out and following one of the ways to the lights. Alright that was good. The sooner they got going, the better. "Alright. Lead the way."

And the two went off into the direction of the pink light. Not that Willow had any idea as to which girl they were going after, but it wasn't too long before it seemed as if they had made it to the place that the girl was standing when she fired off her beam of light. Why? Well the Lavender Forest had suddenly turned into the Hot Pink Forest. Or at least this section and in a 1m diameter. She was no expert, but she could safely assume that this was where the girl was when the shot had been fired.

"Alright, so We should start looking for clues as to where she might have gone off. Maybe if we're lucky, we can get a good track on her." With that, the brunette girl started to look around. For a good minute, maybe more, she didn't see anything. But when she looked up a head? Yeah still nothing. That was lame. She turned to Jaxus and was about to ask him something when she started to notice him. How he moved; how good he smelled from over here. She wondered how much effort it would take to take him down.

"Did you find anything?"

If Jaxus was careful, he could see in the distance, not only pink footsteps, but what looked like blue and green foot steps. They had seemed to all meet up in one general place before heading off together and before they faded away. All heading further away from the group of people and the city.

"Yep, looks like this was the place!~" With the aid of his eyes guiding his muscles, Jaxus' steps were precise, swift, and efficient as he sprinted at a decent pace, bee lining straight through the forest as he approached the area splashed with a strange, pink color. With a quick hop, Jaxus came sliding to a stop in the dirt, looking left to right, relaxing and releasing the tension in his eyes as he took a deep breath, using the trick to enhance the clarity of his vision. "Aye, gotcha'.~" I'm already on it.~" With his signature, strange glowing eyes, he continued to scan the area, a certain calmness in his walk as he swayed backwards, turning his torso in unison with motions of the neck, calmly scanning large portions of the forest in a systematic fashion. //No matter what...// The intense danger and risks were sending him into a sensory overload, and every nerve in his body screamed with activity, from the eyes, to the ears, down to his very thoughts...

//No matter what...!// Jaxus continued to scan the environment, yet, still nothing came up. What was he missing? He knew there was a clue, there always was. Closing his eyes gently for a brief moment as he breathed in, Jaxus focusing his mind on a single, unrivaled thought. //I won't let them down!// As his resolve to keep his promise kicked in, Jaxus scan finally provided the thing he needed. The smallest blotch of color could be noted behind a bushes leaves, and even the moonlight behind it shone a different color. With a startling, random jerky movement, Jaxus went sprawling to the bush in a clumsy running motion, finding the trail of footsteps. "Aye, I did! We're right behind em'! This way!" Jaxus would move his arm with a flattened palm and direct Willow in the direction of the footsteps which would soon become visible when she approached.

"They seem ta' be tryna' escape, if we want to save everyone..." Jaxus paused as they inevitably got closer to their targets, slowing his speed to more closely match Willow's, lowering his voice as he realized they could be approaching any moment. "We need ta' surprise them, there's five. If we take one out from the start, it'll even the odds abit. At the first sight of em', one of us should circle round'. It might create an openin' and send'em into chaos if they get struck from behind...what'cha think?" Despite his dopey demeanor, Jaxus had suggested a fairly shrewd idea. If one of them circled around successfully, it would halt their advance, or at the very least, fracture their forces and create a easy path directly into their ranks by exploiting the distraction the other would create with a frontal attack. The best case scenario would be the entire decimation of the group, but even being able to separate the group momentarily would be a step toward victory.
