Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

This was a most unusual Halloween indeed. As Syeena was a witch, the holiday had great significance for her, along with the rest of the Umbra Witch Clan. It was now the witching time of night as the holiday was now in full swing. The streets of Pointsenttia were alive with the merryment of trick-or-treaters. And it wasn't even truly Halloween just yet. But there were plenty of people out now. One of the festivites was a 'haunted grove', which the entire Coven decided it would be fun to work at.

Syeena, and her aunts, Cereza/Bayonetta, and Jeanne were the 'wierd sisters' from Shakespear's tragedy, Hamlet. Purely a wrong context, but nothing made witches look spooky than three crackling witches around a brewing cauldron. Syeena felt a bit unflattered as she was dressed in the pure black shift and hat, with a horrible gray wig. "Remind me to cast a spell on the event organizer to get a better part next year," Syeena grumbled, moving a stray bit of the wig out of the way.

It was now early evening of that night, and one of many events going out. She would have Halloween to spend how she liked, but for her aunts, they wanted to spend time together especially with the coven.

"A little shame in style, I agree, but worth it to bring some kind respect to our clan, Syeena," Cereza said, her attire being more flattering, as she didn't have to wear a wig. Her long black hair was suited just fine.

Jeanne's hair was already a blonde shade of white, making her fit the look as well. "Speak for your self, Cereza, ' she replied, tossing her hair back. "I don't care if I am 500 years old. Do I look like a wrinkled prune to you? I say we REALLY hex someone tonight."

The snickering of a certain feline caused Syeena to turn to a nearby tree limb above them. Up in the tree above them, was a certain black cat with black and violet streaks in her fur. A witch's hat was perched upon her head with her ears sticking through it. The cat swished her tail in amusement as she looked at the three witches.

"Mree-hee-hee," The cat cackled as if she was a witch herself. "You three look so silly." It was almost as if she would fall out of the tree of laughter.

Syeena frowned at the cat. "Think we need more whisker of CAT in the brew? " she said with a sarcastic sneer to her familiar. The other witches snicker, but soon they pointed-- the next group was coming down the path to be spooked on the 'haunted grove trail'.

Calamity smiled as her image in the mirror reminded her how beautiful she was and that she would date herself if she could. Her knee-high leather boots went perfect with her leather skirt and red corset top, with a black matching hat that seemed similiar to something witches would wear. Calamity rarely ever attended parties but this one would suit her just fine from the details she had recieved.

It was close to Halloween and people dressed up as various things, some that seemed awkward even to Calamity herself, but no matter what they dressed up as none were more beautiful than the dark mage herself. She began to make her away to the party twisting side to side making sure she turned the heads of both male and female.

As she continued her journey she mad her way towards the 'haunted grove trail' as she thought it was a fitting name for such an event. Ahead of her she could see others, but it was to dark to tell what kind of costumes they on or if they were even sexy to catch her attention. Calamity paused for a moment thinking that she didn't even have a date.

"I wonder how does someone like me manage to always go places alone.." she muttered to herself as she looked for someone's arm to grab and force them to walk the trail with her. To her avail noone that peaked her interest came by so she decided to make the trip alone. "Oh well.. I might meet some people that I might like tonight.. hopefully.." she said in a low sarcastic tone continuing down the trial.

It was at that time the next group came down the trail, (Calamity included ideally) and soon saw the three witches. All three of them released a throaty cackle sound as Hex gave a loud but clear 'meow' of a cat. Hex gave three sharp meows and the three witches' played their role for the haunted trip.

" Thrice the brinded cat hath mew'd" Cereza said, moving her hands over the glowing cauldron.

Jeanne answered in turn, as they moved like an elegant dance around the cauldron. " Double, double toil and trouble... Fire burn, and cauldron bubble! Akhahahaha!!" Jeanne laughed, then whispered to Syeena. "Take it away, little one,"

Answering her cue, Syeena too joined in on the chorus of the three witches. " Fair is foul, and foul is fair... Hover through the fog and filthy air!"

The performance was chilling to those that passed by, both elegant and scary to them as a few of the kids with their parents clinged to their legs. Regardless, they walked by, pleased with it. Syeena had to admit, it was a good feeling to play the role of the 'traditional' witch, despite the overly exaggerated pointy hats.

However... one thing was going to be interesting.

"Whooooo! You sure look hot in anything Syeena!"

Syeena stopped to look of someone who had broke past the group, revealing the black haired man with the prison outfit. It was Free, a werewolf-like mage with a magic eye and a new recruit to Grimore Heart-- one that Syeena had fought off when they first met in the woods. And ever since, the werewolf had a very driven crush on her.

"Oh no! " Hex meowed from atop the tree. "Can't you see we are working, you pervy werewolf. Get lost!"

Syeena sighed, knowing how the two often clashed. "Hey, I am a guest here. Show a little respect, furball. Anyway, I just wanted to see Syeena and her fellow witches. " It was then he saw her aunts, who were more mature and rather 'hot' that he let out a 'woof' sound. "WOw. Witches would have a much better reputation if they looked like you guys!"

Cereza and Jeanne looked to one another. "I don't know if I should thank him for his compliment or shoot him between the eyes. This is a first," she said, a bit of venomous sarcasm in her voice as she adjusted her glasses.

"Relax... he is almost harmless..." Syeena said, and stepped towards her guildmate ."What do you want, Free?" she asked.

Calamity walked as she was somewhat behind a group as they walked on the trail as they watched the witches performance. It was interesting to see traditional witches and a cauldron, something she hadn't seen since she was a lil girl. One of the witches was very attractive and seemed to be the younger of the 3 witches, as she somewhat shot a smile at her, but before she could be seen an unknown mage made a statement about one of them being 'hot'.

Calamity paused as what seemed to be a man out of prison flirting with the witch she thought was beautiful. She could see that she wasn't that interested and from the words of the cat, that he was the type that didn't give up easily. She continued to watch as the group talked, but the fact he had talked to one of the witches crazy she decided to 'save' her. As the beautiful witch stepped towards the man Calamity slid between them..

"Hi." she said with a gigantic smile as she flipped her backwards into the face of Free. "I'm Calamity and you look almost as good as me in your witch outfit.." She said as she bit her lip while still looking at the beautiful witch in her presence.

Free was thankfully interrupted by the strange girl that walked right up to Syeena. She was surprised by the rather friendly greeting by the girl as she somewhat complimented Syeena as looking similar to her. That confused Syeena, and the other witches. Free of course, probably got that much as he too eyed the new girl with a somewhat lustful eye.

"This is going to get complicated..." Hex meowed as she swished her tail.

Taking off her hat, Syeena addressed her. "Um... thank you? " she said, a bit perplexed from a direct compliment like that. "So, who are you?' she asked.

As they introduced themselves, Free was looking around the girl to try and resume her discussion with Syeena. It seemed he had something on his mind and really wanted to talk on it. "Um Excuse me. I was talking. Some people are so rude, even if they are hot and... er, anyway," he said, and tried to get in his point. "Ya know, Syeena. There is a private party going on out on Halloween Night. Very fitting for us night-folk, ya know? So you wanna go with me?"

Syeena had a hard time hating Free. On one hand, he was blunt, pervy, ignorant and a little slow. But one the other hand, he was a guild mate, he wasn't intentionally mean, and he was as reliable as a retriever. She didn't want to REALLY hurt his feelings, no matter how much she felt the urge to smack him with a rolled up newspaper.

"Thanks, Free... but I have plans this Halloween. Maybe some other time, okay?" She said, straining to speak her more immediate and less meditated thoughts.

However, Hex was not so tactful. "Translation: SHOT DOWN, DOGGIE!! Now Get!" the cat replied in her sassy tone, swiping her claws in Free's direction, telling him to shoo.

Calamity replied "My name is Calamity" as she ignored the one known as Free that continued to run his mouth as it seemed he loved to hear himself talk. She probably went a little to far, but noone ever remembered the quiet person, so her true intention was to make them remember her when she did leave their presence. She laughed to herself as the cat continued to make smart remarks as it seemed it didn't like Free at all.

She listened as Free offered for the beautiful witch to attend a party but she easily declined the offer. She couldn't tell if she disliked him or if he was just really annoying, most likely he was more annoying if anything as he seemed to have a thing for her. Calamity thought to herself about maybe popping in to the party if she had nothing else to do that night as it would lead to another boring night for her.

Clearly Free was a bit disappointed but nodded. He was used to Syeena having her own plans. "Oh, okay... well next time then maybe. Anyway I'll let you get back to work. See you later, Syeena. " Free said. Syeena gave him a gentle smile. Free wasn't a BAD werewolf. Just overly excited like a puppy. As he turned and went down the path, they were left alone with Calamity and Syeena's aunts.

"Hi there. Calamity, is that your name? " Syeena said, a bit perplexed. "I'm Syeena... The talking cat in the tree is Hex. And those are my aunts Cereza and Jeanne." She introduced, pointing to them as Hex waved from her perch in the tree.

Apparently her aunts could sense Syeena's unease with the stranger, but they smiled. "Oh, relax sweetie. She seems like our kind of company. She is a witch if you ask me already," she said, winking to her.

"Are we done yet. Halloween is Tomorrow. I wanna go out flying and play some tricks on the treaters " Hex mewed happily as she playfully swatted at a stray moth to fly across her path.

" Cereza? Jeanne?" Syeena asked.

Jeanne smirked. "Oh, go on. You worked hard enough. As for Halloween, be sure to have some fun, little one," she replied and returned to stirring the cauldron to make the mist billow up.

And so Syeena and Calamity could leave the forest path back into town. As they would talk, Hex would flutter behind them. The black cat with the witch's hat had sprouted black feathery wings with her magic, allowing her to fly. She was an Exceed, and a witchy one at that. She really became the role of the black cat for a witch.

Okay so Mago had no idea where he was. Nothing out of the ordinary really, except this time he was in the woods and surrounded by..... stuff. People in costumes.... some monsters, cats, and others, all appeared on the path he was walking. He had almost jawed a few people who had decided it was a good idea to jump out of the brush and scare him. Luckily he had managed to keep his composure. Mago continued down the path, hands in his pocket and a smoke in his mouth. He kept his eyes peeled, making sure he wouldn't accidentally light anybody on fire if they decided to pop up out of no where.

From what Mago could gather this was some kind of exhibit which had something to do with the holiday that Mago knew nothing about. It had something to do with corny costumes and candy..... anyway this path was apart of the festivities, which Mago didn't plan on taking any part of. Sadly, he was thrust into it.... kind of. He could always leave but since this was a path he imagined the exit would be somewhere up ahead, so he decided to walk the length of it.

Anyway, eventually he came across some witches.... and a prisoner.... or an escaped prisoner? Mago assumed it was just a costume, but the guy looked like a creep..... he was flirting with one of the witches, and wasn't taking no for an answer. It wasn't something Mago wanted to get involved with.... like at all. But maybe the girls had money.... and could buy him dinner for tonight if he did them a public service? He found himself in these situations a lot, trading services for meals. It was worth a shot....

"He bothering you.... witches?"

"No just a friend," Syeena said, as Free had already left. An annoying friend, but friendly nonetheless. Syeena was in her witch's costume which she dubbed "The Magician" for its relation to the tarot. She looked over the stranger. His red hair and physice was indeed attractive. Of course, those types often were hitting on her far more than Free would.

"And who are you?" Syeena asked, tilting her witch's hat as she inquired about the guy.

It was at that time that Hex flew in from above. The black winged Exceed cat leered at the stranger. "Hey, pretty boy!" Hex hissed in a cat like manner and eyed him carefully. "Don't get any funny ideas with my friend, got it? You so much as cop a feel for her and I'll claw your eyes out," she threatened, flashing her claws that twinkled in the night light.

Syeena sighed. Hex always had to make her self intimidating and known, despite being such a cute flying black cat. If nothing else, it did make her funny to watch at least.

Mago grunted. Just a friend eh? Then he had nothing to do here..... other then small talk. Something Mago wasn't exactly fond of. But hey he still needed a drink right? "I'm..... Mago Burttodo" Like that meant anything to the girl. His name meant nothing, the only reason people talked to him most of the time was because he looked liked a certain chain saw wielding psychopath.

That's when the cat showed up. The thing quite literally dropped in on them. It automatically annoyed Mago. The way it spoke, the way it introduced itself..... the way it put on a show for no apparent reason. But whatever, wasn't like Mago would put energy in being annoyed when the solution was to ignore it.

"So.... do you work here? Or do you always walk around like that?" Rude? Yes. Did Mago care? Nope. She probably worked here, if not then she looked ridiculous and needed to change her attire. Hopefully she worked here..... else Mago wouldn't be getting that drink now would he?
