Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

(Stating Team Van Helsing)

The glow of a jack-o-lantern brighted up the lone ally of Magnolia as a lone stranger was running away. Someone was chasing them as the clouds passed over the moon above. he was running for dear life, as a shadowy figure with a bone mask followed him. He soon found himself at the end of the ally, running into a dead end. The man looked terrified as he turned and was face to face with the strangely skull-faced man.

"P-please, please don't kill me!!" he wailed, screaming in terror as the man extended a hand.

"Don't worry, young man. I am a doctor-- and I am here to free you from the plague upon you," he said as he grasped the man by the face.

"WWWWAAAAAAAAHHHHH....!!" he screamed into the night.

The next morning...

Magnolia was still alive with the sound of merriment and joy, especially the children that were now running around in costumes. It was the week of Halloween, the most magical and spooky night of the year. And as a nation of magic and wizards, Halloween was a special holiday for all. A day when magic was most celebrated, even sacred to some cultures.

Like a certain witch who was now hidden among the crowd of Magnolia.

The beginning of the fair would start tonight, and it would have a large dance, games, candy, food, contests, raffles. You name it! Decorations of bats, mummies, skeletons and other halloween symbols. There were hay rides through the town cementary and other scary activities. It was going to be a busy holiday season for the town.

However... as wizards began to show up to both enjoy the festivities and prepare to help out, they would not realize that a foul murder had occured nearby. ON the far end of the fair grounds, there was a group of knights gathered near the alley where the man had been cornered. They had blocked it off, not letting many show up.

But a certain nerdy looking, nosy journalist was on her way to investigate.

Reggie walked through a crowd of people wearing monster costumes and masks. She was a bit uncomfortable as some of them would stopped at their tracks and looked at her head to toe. They would went on. She thought they were just checking her out when she heard some giggles every time they walked away. Maybe pink was so eye-catching that night since most of the people were wearing black and some hues of purple. Or maybe the ball gown was too grand for the streets. The blonde wizard sighed as she went on. She should've bought that sexy witch costume. But it was not her. Definitely not her character. So she chose a princess ball gown instead. She even put up her hair into a messy bun and put on a tiara. It took her an hour to do her hair, plus an extra hour for her make up.

She came to Magnolia because her boyfriend invited her to Fairy Tail's annual Halloween party. Thinking she had nothing to do for the rest of the week, she decided to go to Magnolia days before the party so she could enjoy the town's week long celebration. But she didn't know that Toshiro was still on a trip. So she had no choice but to celebrate it alone.

She was walking alone when she heard a girl asking her mom. "Mommy, is she scared of princesses that's why she's dressing up like a princess?" "I don't know honey. But people sometimes like to dress up according to what they want to become during halloween." The mother replied. Reggie smiled as she heard it. Maybe the night is not bad after all.

Do You Even Kill?

Humans are mortal, their death is immenent, either by carnage or self content, love or hate, Money or pure accident, divine intervention or the devill's grace. Its only the cause that was different. One of human's greatest mystery was their state of mind, how their thoughts swirl, how their emotion blends and forge an act of vicious volatile de-humanizing their reasons. Murder, the act of ending others life without their consent is one of the most common unjustified act of the human mind. Yet some, appears to have settled their reasons and merely killing for fun.

a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villian by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengence; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. (giggles) Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose.

Iria stands, looming behind her was the dark shadows of concrete, shading the gaping alley and overlapping her existence. Holding her umbrella with her right hand, she fold the note on her left hand before casting her sight at the crowded knights. The Murder scene was not that odd. Tight alleys with dark slums and nasty smell, Gooey wall mustered with dew and dirty ooze, and for the appetizer, the horrid smells of death and dried blood.

The poem of V was a gift, attached to a boxes of files and an old diary. It was send to her book story to be archived by a friend of her who works for the public affair office, and for its worth, the mysterious diary brings nothing to her but a curse and an attempt of assasination. Of course, the problem were resolved instantly by shoving her umbrella up her assassin's bum. The whole case however, was never solved, and obviously it only attracts her interest.

Halloween fest was the day of the monsters and Iria's guts tell her that she was about to see a real monster in the midst of the happy creepy celebration. Still gazing straight at the crowded knights, the little witch smirks deviously, despicably and delighted by the thoughts. She were about to stick her neck into another place where she shouldn't get involved and as the olds saying "Curiosity Killed the Cat" Iria steps back into the shade.

She's a suspicious little girl in the alley.

As the people continued to prepare and enjoy the halloween festival. the knights were busy wrapping up a horrible crime. At the end of the allyway was the withered body of a man. He looked like a mummy, dried up from all his life force. The knights had cornered off the area and were keeping the party-goers at bay. However, one such woman was being rather persistant. However, while she did intend to enjoy Halloween... she was there on a mission as well.

Time for ditzy reporter act number 2, she thought as she walked through the streets. She was now dressed as her other alias. The nerdy looking reporter outfit she referred to as "The Fool" which idolized her more innocent side. As such, no one would suspect of her true nature behind it unless they knew her.

No one would suspect she was an Umbra Witch-- unless they judged the black cat on her shoulder with the witch's hat. Otherwise, she was a harmless nerdy looking reporter. As she approached the scene, she saw the knights and she began to begin her act. The black cat hopped down from her as she moved in.

"Ah! Excuse me!" She interrupted the guards, briefly spotting the young man named Ash nearby. She was a bit more nosey in her approach as she usually was. Her best method to stick her nose into where it didn't belong, was to be as obvious and annoying as possible. "I'm a journalist for Sorcerer Weekly. Mind explaining what you found here! This is the fifth victim to this mage killing, isn't it? What has the knights been doing to try to find a suspect in this developent?" she questioned with pen and pad in hand.

Obviously, the knights wouldnt' want to deal with the press right now. "Lady, go get a statement from the office. Not now!" one of them said and proceeded to try and push her back. "Someone get this reporter out of here!"

"HEY! Come on! THE PEOPLE DEMAND THE TRUTH!!" she said in a cheezy line, but she was dragged away from the crime scene line regardless.

But of course, the guards paid no attention to the little black cat that cunningly sneaked in to investigate. She would scout the crime scene, then return to Syeena with the information she could gather. No one would suspect a little cat to be any kind of 'spy'.

Reggie clutch her skirt as she walked through a wet pavement when she noticed a bunh of people walking towards a scene. "What could have happened during halloween?" She wondered as she went to wards the crowd and gasped at the sight of a dead man in the middle of the street. The knights had secured the area by somekind of police line. Only it was called Knight Line, restricting anyone an access to the crime scene. The blonde wizard was just looking around when she noticed a nerdy looking girl presented herself as a reporter from Weekly Sorcerer.

The blonde wizard looked closely and swore she had never seen her before. She had been in and out from the base of the magazine for photoshoots and ad campaigns. But she had never seen her inside. Reggie knew she's an impostor. She would know right away if she's a new one. And she just had her photoshoot for the gravure last week.
But she didn't want to humiliate the girl. Liker her he wanted the truth about what happened. So instead of jumping into conclusions, she approached the nerdy looking girl. "Hello! I'm Reggie. Ahem. I'm Miss Fiore. I hesrrd you are from Weekly Sorcerer. So I assune you know me already since I made it to the gravure for this month's issue." Reggie said as she held out her hand for her. "So what really happened? Have you seen the person who killed the guy?" The blonde wizard asked her. "What's your name by the way?"

A heavy bonk to her head wakes her up from a fixed stare and obvious day dreaming. It's not even a surprised that reading too much mystery novel is bad for her overactive imagination. Because when an obvious crime scene popped in her daily stroll, she instantly turned her switch on and went straight for the anti-protagonist sterotype. It would be a fun fantasy if she wasn't on an errand. Yes, well the place she hanged her lazy bum had a quite nasty owner -if anyone interested, its an ancient book store in Era.- and that monstrous owner lady had already looming behind her with huge load on her back.

SO yeah... all that talk about diary and assassin were nothing but her own fantasy.

"I told you to collect bills, not fooling around in a dirty alley..." The lady stops her sentence. Her mind instantly thought about what could this little girl do and she pin point the possibilities, the woman speaks. "yer not doing 'dirty' thing aren't cha?" accompanied by a hand gesture to emphasize the word..."Dirty".

"Wha... o-of course not, w-what do you think i am?" Iria said denying the horrible accusation. Her flustered looks however, instantly denying her own denial. She was hiding something and it was so obvious that the owner lady instantly facepalmed. "Wh...what?" and she still tries to deny it.

The owner lady sighs, like mother, like daughter, she thought. Eitherway, her attention instantly switched to the crime scene when a pair of knights drag a woman with black hair out of the place. It was a bit moment of silent. Yes, another murder case. It brings back an old memory of the owner lady back to life. The blood, The knights, the dead and the witch who stood next to her younger image. It was the same, back then, years ago, the same thing happened to her. It was few seconds of nostalgia feelings for her, but its a few seconds of chance for Iria to get away from the owner lady's grasp. And just like that, she got away before the owner lady can even realize she's gone.

Rapidly pacing her feet on the ground, Iria barely even aware what's in front of her. She keep running while looking behind to make sure the owner lady couldn't follow. It was then, Iria bumped to a pair of young woman, one with a very familiar black hair, and the other one... is a bit familiar, but she couldn't recall where she had seen that figure enchanting blonde before. She got shoved back due to her tiny figure and fall down on her bum. "Ow ow shit, who put a brick wall in the middle of the street" she grumbled.

As Syeena was hauled off by the guards, Hex was free to investigate while just brushed off as a simple black cat. The guards hardly noticed her, also didn't notice the little black witch's hat she wore as well as she prowled about. The body had been covered by a sheet, but as the knights in the allyway spoke, she used her keen cat-like ears to spy on their conversation.

"This is the third murder this week. Each one with their magic literally sucked out of them." one knight said, as Hex eaves dropped on them.

"I know. It's freaky. All of them mages too. We increased security at the festival but still" the guard said with a gulp. "Anyway if its the same mage killer, we should keep on high alert. "

As they continued to talk, Hex backed away in the shadows and began to move back to where Syeena had agreed they would meet.

Meanwhile, Syeena was pretty much shoved away from the crime scene-- which was fine cause she knew her cat-like friend was helping her out. However, she didn't realized was she actually run into HER! Reggie-- Miss Fiore more commonly known as. She was a beautiful young woman a year or so younger than Syeena. She was a renown beauty figure of Blue Pegasus, and formally in Fairy Tail. And big trouble if she suspected Syeena's cover was blown!

The beauty of being a reporter was thaty you could stick your nose into things you shouldn't, and justify it well. It was her ideal cover for infiltrating and thefts. And now a girl who WORKED with them was there, questioning her. She had to think fast!

Luckily, due to her thick glasses, Reggie wouldn't be able to see the fluster in her eyes. "Oh-- H-hi there! Wow, Miss Fiore herself. I, well , I'm new at the magazine mor or less. I usually am out traveling to cover out of town stories. So you probably wouldn't know of me that well. I usually the photographer." she said, raising up the camera she had around her neck. She reached out and shook her hand. "I'm Syeena Fateweaver." giving her the alias of her while dressed as that.

However, thankfully or unthankfully, someone shoved Syeena in the back and caused her to wail and fall forward in a clumsy manner. She would thank her for such a convient act that was for sure. As she got out from under here, and brushed off her clothing, Syeena looked around. "Ouch... that hurt. "

It was the perfect diversion. As she then took this chance to split and get away before Reggie figured out more than she intended to. "So sorry, but I gotta go! Take care! Hope to see you around the festival!" Syeena said as she quickly took off.

She sprinted and ran off into the crowd. Though perhaps it wouldn't do much good if Reggie followed her. Either way, Syeena had somewhere she had to be to meet Hex. She vanished into an ally.

But if anyone were to come and look... she was gone.

Out of sight above the ally...

The timing had been perfect as Syeena was picked up by none other than her black cat companion Hex. The witchy black cat had used her magic to create black feathery wings and flew her out of the allyway, so no one noticed her vanish. Now the cat held on to Syeena by the back of her clothing, as she softly flew towards the meeting spot. "Wow... you are getting as popular as that model down there. Mreow!" Hex teased as she flew.

"Please, Hex. That was a close one. Let's just get to Agil's before some one sees us. " Syeena said, and they flew towards the other end of the street corner.

(OOC: If you wish, make your way to the same Lounge/Bar where Syeena is going to now)

Syeena and Hex flew right in front of the place they were going to. The human bouncer-- or so he appeared to be-- looked from behind his glasses to see the two. They landed before the more nocturnal themed Lounge and Club-- "The Black Cat Lounge". It was a popular hang out for the more classy type of people, but well known among neutral and dark mages. The bouncer, while as a towering, muscular human in a black suit, was actually a demon since they were in the vacinity of Magnolia. No sense drawing too much attention.

As they landed, the bouncer nodded to them, expecting them. With a wave of thanks, Syeena and Hex entered the bar, where they would meet their friend. The light sound of jazzy piano played as they entered the velvet colored room, and made their way to the bar, where Agil was as usual, cleaning up his bar.

"Yo, Syeena. How did it go?" he asked, wondering if they found anything.

It was at this point, that Syeena exquipt. She was showered in a display of light and cards, and was once again dressed in her more signature witch-like attire. The black and orange sorceress look that showed off her more beautiful features more elegantly.

"Close. I think my cover was almost blown," She sighed as she sat at the bar, Hex hopping off her shoulder into the stool beside her.

The Sir of FTG
Julian was sat at one end of the bar, not willing to sit nearer to the bartender, lest he be roped into conversation. Normally, a barkeep's job was to lend a sympathetic ear while they served drinks. Since his disfigurement, however, they only had one question on their minds... how'd he lose the hand. After the first two times, he was more or less put off of the smaller establishments, but even in a nice place like this, he took pains to stay off from casual conversations which may steer to the subject.

He had come into town for the festival, and event he was always eager to attend when he lived in Acalypha. So, while his home was still lost to him, Julian figured that the festival would be the perfect way to reconnect with his roots, and perhaps, forget a few of his troubles. Still, it seemed that even here, it was hard to remain cheerful. Shortly after he had arrived, he had learned that the city was plagued by a series of murders. So far, there were already four victims, and the Knights seemed no closer to finding the culprit.

Julian sighed, emptying his tankard and wiping his mouth with the back of his nubbed wrist. Maybe it was time that he put his talents to work for the city. He had worked with the authorities on a few occasions before, when they were looking for someone dangerous... on the other hand-

"Anu'ver drink, if'n you please!" he called.

((OoC: to note, that isn't a symptom of alchohol, I've been affecting a psuedo-cockney accent for Julian since his inception, but I plan on removing it soon, if only to remove confusion in times like this))

Iria would worry about the person she slamed into, but the person scrambled faster than a thieving cat. She was slightly suspicious, Iria would worry about that more if a book wasn't just fly next to her ear in a very terrifying speed and crash on some poor man's stall which literally explode like a hand grenade. Iria was frozen stiff, for once her cool demeneor just turned into a pale terrified expression complete with a gaping mouth. She know where the books come from and she knows for sure she'll die if the makeshift projectile hits her. Stiffly, terrified and hesitant she turned her head around to find the red head owner with a very pissed off looks, so pissed off that she just turned a regular book into an armor piercing bullet.

"y-y-y-y-you crazy old cow!! Are ye trying to kill me" Iria yelled, although provoking the owner ain't really the best idea she had in he mind and the reply she got confirmed it. Another book was thrown and this time Iria had to dodge in a tight spot, speading her leg in a very short moment after she fails to stand up in time and fall down on her bum again. The scary part of it, is that when the book missed and hits the ground, it cause a small crater and a puff of dust and when the dust finally dispersed, the book "bullet" landed only a few milimeters from her crotch. "Damn right i am, I'll crush yer goddamn pelvis so you would have to wear a goddamn iron panties to hold yer bumm in place" The red head owner replied. It was scary conflict, yet it looks ridiculously comical in some way.

The thought of humping people with iron butts scared the shit out of her that little Iria was frozen stiff. There's no way she can escape that red head 'demon', no way, not even in a hundred years of her little squidding ass.

--------------------------

The day passed so fast, and Iria got her naughty little ass spanked for wasting her time playing around rather than doing her job. It was humiliating in a way, getting her pride trampled like a kid who got punished for not eating their veggies, but she had no choices. The owner is not someone that she can deal with, because for as long as she remembered, even her mom trembles in the shade of her charisma. Yes, They are related in someways, but that will be a story for another day.

Few hours laters, young Iria sat down in her favorite spot, a comfy corner on the edge of the violet shade lighting, the best spot within the black cat lounge where she can drink her favorite cocktail and eyeing herself a wealthy stud. However this time, little just want to relax her sore back after the hard labor she did for the red devilish red head owner. Leaning her back to a comfy black leathered chair, Iria took a lazy sip from her sunny bright colored drink, grumbled about the way she was treated. It was then she notice a familiar figure entering the lounge. There was a vague resemblance, but for some reason Iria was certain that it was the same girl as the noisy reporter who got dragged from the murder scene.

Agil was a bit annoyed as SYeena came wandering into the bar. He had been surving a rather-- interesting customer who pretty much seemed drunk now at the other end of the bar. He was rather chummy and wanting alot of drinks. Agil tapped the table with his fingers as he soon heard another call for a drink. With a sigh, he got up and prepared another one for him, but soon saw as Syeena came in.

In a flash of magic and light, Syeena had requipped into her usual black and orange sorceress attire, turning from nerdy to hot in a matter of seconds as Hex flew beside her. Finding her usual spot at the bar, she and Hex sat down as Agil came over and greeted them with a smile.

"Hey, Syeena. Any luck?" he asked as she sat down.

No longer hiding behind those thick glasses, Syeena looked at him with her keen green eyes and relaxed as Hex sat at the stool beside her. FOr now she ignored the stranger at the other end, as he wasn't bothering her right now. "You were right, Agil. The target is here. Not that I don't mind playing savior, but hopefully I can settle this issue before he causes any more problems." she said.

"Hey, Agil!" Hex meowed, grabbing the barkeeper's attention with a raise of her paw. "White Russian-- Hold the ice, vodka and kalula! Chop-chop!"

The dark handsome man frowned at the cat as he and the cat never really got along well, considering how sassy and bossy she was. Not voicing his disapproval, he snapped his fingers and via magic, the drink she asked for appeared. Cream-- Hex's favorite drink. He pushed it over to her. "Cat lacks all sense of manners," he commented as Hex took the glass and began to sip it happily with both paws.

Syeena looked around the bar, seeing the temporary image of Magnolia outside the door window. "Is it really okay for you to put the bar in Magnolia? What if the knights catch wind of you here. Or worse, that mage killer?" Syeena asked.

The Black Cat Lounge, was Agil's bar, but it was also a hub for neutral and dark mages. More for those with higher sense of taste, but still it was a hub of dark magic information trafficking as well as black market interests. Especially since Agil was also a master crater of rare and unique magic items. He was Syeena's go-to man for all her equipment and information on top of them being good friends. He had her complete trust.

"I'm not too worried. Knights got enough issues. Besides, Magnolia is actually a place where I get some of my best customers," he said in a confident tone, taking one of the serving towels and throwing it over his shoulder. "Besides, that mage killer come in here causing trouble-- you know $&^% is gonna get real, baby."

"PFFFT---!! MReow-ow-ow!" Hex coughed in mid sip of the cream she was drinking in the shot glass. Agil turned to the cat as she cleaned her throat. Finally putting down her glass, Hex put a paw over her mouth to stiffel her laughter. "Milk went up my nose but it was totally worth it... Mrroww!" she laughed.

Agil glared at Hex angrily. "Shut up, you stupid cat!" he snapped back at her.

Syeena too tried to keep from laughing, more at the both of them and not at Agil. She new well what he was capable if someone caused trouble inside his bar.
