Hex was still hiding in the breadbox and Syeena saw as it controlled all the burners in the kitchen. This was no ordenary magic doll. Hell, magical toys were not uncommon in Fiore-- but this was one that SERIOUSLY needed to be recalled by the whoever made this twisted toy. Syeena looked to the doll to Emily, who was just as wigged out as she was. "Alright... Molly... I'm not afraid of you," Syeena said in a strong and somewhat convincing tone. She then smiled and pointed to herself. "I don't know if you are aware of this, but I'm a WITCH." "Ooooooh, I'm scared," the doll replied with that same cheerful tone. "Sarcasm not sold separately. Hehehe..." Now angry, Syeena raised her hand and requipt one of her cards, it appearing in her hand. As she was about to throw it at the doll-- a sudden burst of greenish-lightning shot out of its eyes and zapped the card she was holding. It went flying out of her hand, and slashing into the nearby wall from the force of the impact. Syeena looked back at the wall, seeing the card lodged there and to the doll who made it look effortlessly. "I'm warning you not to mess with me tonight!" Syeena replied, slamming a hand on the table. "I have friends over!" The doll raised her arm with excitement. "Oh, goodie! I have friends toooo." At that moment she turned to the broom closet and the same green bolts fired from her eyes at the door. At that moment, something jolted inside and the door busted open. Inside was the Frankenstein monster. Tall, green, arms out and groaning like the true movie version. It lumbered out of the ruins of the closet and towards Syeena and Emily. "Uh... how you doing, Frank? How did the operation turn out?" Syeena said, trying to slowly inch for the room door, him clearly following them. "Gotta-go!" "GRRRRRUUUUNNN!" The monster said as he slowly followed them out into the other room! |

Things had gone from ridiculous to preposterous in the space of a few minutes. Emily had to admit this was a lot more exciting than some pathetic Halloween party although she wasn’t sure how they were going to get out of the situation now. She drew one of her throwing knives and whipped it at the lumbering monster. It stuck into his chest but made absolutely no difference to the advancing creature. He just kept right on coming. Emily turned to catch Syeena’s eye and said, “Well this is fun. We’ve got a murderous doll and a gigantic monster. If your cards aren’t working here, I think we need a major plan ‘B’ and quickly. Otherwise they’ll be picking little bits of all of us up with a broom and a dustpan.” There was another trick that the redhead decided she might try. There was no thought to the fact that she was destroying a builiding’s floor in the process, but she didn’t usually consider those kinds of things. She stomped her foot and a crack radiated out across the floor as her earth magic came into play. The huge monster lumbered right into it and got its big, blocky foot stuck inside of the crack. Emily grinned and said, “At least this buys us time! Any suggestions, Syeena? Hex?” |

Though Syeena wanted to kill Emily for splitting a huge whole in the cathedral's floor, this was not the time. "DOn't do that! If the doll doesn't kill me, my aunts will!!" She wailed as they ran from the slowly advancing Frankenstein monster. The monster however easily pulled himself out of the small weaker hole as they were chased back into the viewing room. Luckily, the others were watching the movie-- that they were able to fix and were watching something similar to the Frankenstein monster. However Syeena knew she didn't want to ruin the night for her guests So she found something very close by. A violin. Finding it she began to play it, releasing a soft soothing and somewhat sad tune. "Someone playing the violin?" Agil asked, confused what the sound was coming from. "I-I need to pratice. Don't look I'm very self conscious!" Syeena said in a stressed tone, luring the Franeknstein monster away from the group. She was leading him to a closet. If Emily was smart, she would wait and the moment Syeena jumped out of the way and the lumbering giant entered it, she would close the door! |

The entire situation was ridiculous so Emily couldn’t see why putting a crack in the floor was such a major deal. She shrugged and moved on as the monster came lumbering forward towards the music. It appeard to have a strange effect on the monster. It made odd moaning noises that could have been mistaken for the sound of someone enjoying a delicious cake. She had no time to think about “yummy sounds” because Syeena was begging her to lock the thing in a closet. There was no other response but for her to swing the door open and wait for the thing to keep on coming. The music swelled and grew powerful (if a tad out of tune) as Syeena drew the creature on. Now the door was open and the monster blindly shambled into the darkness. Emily slammed the door behind it and shouted, “Now stay!” The redhead turned to her companion and said, “Okay so it’s in the closet. What do we do about the damn doll now?” |

As the door was slammed shut, Syeena rested her back against it with relief as she finally lowered the lame violin. Why that worked, she had no clue but she was glad it did. "At least it's not the sharpest pencil in the monster box--" THWUMP!! SMASH!! A fist suddenly came shooting out of the door she was leaning against, beside her. Turning with surprise, she saw the large green hand. Answering Emily's question, Syeena looked to her and darted her gaze between her and the guests watching the movie. "B-Barricade the door!" she hissed. Reaching up she began to grab chairs and small tables nearby, and began to prop them against the door. All the while she kept things as quiet as possible, despite the groans they could hear from behind the door. This night was turning into a real horror show for Syeena. She would never live down the embarrassment of this happening while she was trying to host a party. |
