What Mago had said to her made Willow shiver a bit. If all of these people were here because of the fact that they had killed people, then this woman, this Mortisha had a weird sense of who she thought was popular and what not. Though she did notice the fight between Siliva and Jaxus so it couldn't have been all killers in this room. And speaking of that...Siliva's mood went from pleasant enough to something along the lines of killing. Alright maybe not killing but he had gotten on her bad side real quick. As her gaze hardened upon the "Beauty" Guild mage (enough if the guild had been changed, doesn't mean that the fact they had a lot of pretty people in it didn't stop her from calling them that still), the air seemed to get thick as others were waiting for her to attack back. Maybe the fact that she didn't say anything only made things worse. But what were you going to do? Regardless, the people were sent off to their little tables and their group had suddenly went from four to five people as the little girl that had come in with Chamria had soon popped out from under the table to bite into Jaxus' sandwich. This had caused Mago to start randomly punching and kicking....the air, making him look like an idiot. "Smooth." Was all Willow was going to say on that subject. The kid in question as well as Jaxus might have some choice words for him, but Willow had nothing. Chamria also shrugged and sat down. It wasn't her place to say anything. After all, they were here just to get to know one another. And once everyone seemed to calm down a bit, she started. "So I'll start I guess. Then we can go around the table and introduce ourselves. I am Chamria. I am 24 years old. I am an Ex-Quip mage. I don't really have a guild and like to travel a lot. Favorite color is red. Favorite hobby is testing limits. And one interesting thing about the people at this group is the interesting couple you two make." She smiled to both Willow and Mago before leaning back in her seat. "Alright so who's next?" Willow rolled her eyes. What was with everyone thinking they were a couple. Fukumura was one thing. Now her? Too much effort to deal with this. "Willow Heart. 21. Also Ex-Quip. Currently Fairy Tail but planning on switching to something else possible. I also travel a lot. Don't know favorite color. Don't have a hobby. One interesting thing about the people here at this table is you seem to like to push people's buttons." Willow rested her heavy gaze upon Chamria, but the older woman only smiled at her, not really taking offense to it. Like this wasn't anything new. She then turned to Jaxus. "Alright your turn, then the kid, then the red head. Also it would be fun to have everyone explain why they think they are here and what makes them special and what they think of everyone else here. We'll get back to Willow's other answers later. Sorry if we covered this while we were waiting, I was late to the party after all." |

OOC Note As Cynthia took a bite of the sandwich, Jaxus acute hearing picked up on it immediately, turning around to look at the ghostly pale, red eyes child, the hairs on the back of his neck immediately standing up on end. "WAAAA-!" Never once had Jaxus did a one eighty in his entire young life, taking a wide sprint forward! "AA-AUHHHH!" Thwack! Tripping over Mago's leg before he retracted it completely, Jaxus went "face first" into the ground, twitching ever so slightly. After a brief pause, he weakly rose his right arm straight up, still face down in the dirt, giving the group a thumbs up. "...I'm good.~ Gimme' a moment..." ...He needed the moment to stop cringing, that, "hurt." Rousing himself together, Jaxus looked to Persies who was still feasting. //Persies, grab me a beer, will ya'?// //Busy! Can't you?// //...Pleeeaaase...?~// Persies ceased stuffing her face, looking to Jaxus with a discerning scowl before cawing in a tone as if sighing. "Caaaw...." //Fine...// As Jaxus took a seat with the others, just in time for Chamria to start, Persies came flapping about, a craft beer in her claws as she gently dropped it into Jaxus' awaiting hand. //Keep it light! You're from Blue Pegasus!// //Yeah, yeah...// Of course, Persies had to remind him to be on his best behavior. Who knew the atrocities that would follow if Jaxus drank too much. As Chamira spoke, Jaxus took a light sip of his beer and nodded, yet, he had his eyes closed. With the way she was dressed, he'd find it hard to really talk until he finished a beer or two. Though, surprisingly, the more she talked about herself, Jaxus opened his eyes, directing his attention to her, abit impressed. A love for travel and testing her limits, it was definitely something Jaxus could respect. Shortly afterwards, Willow introduced herself as a current Fairy Tail mage who also liked to travel. From the sounds of it, Jaxus was in decent company. As Jaxus was called upon, he took a deep, deep chug from his beer, waiting afew moments before replying. After all, from the tension with Silvia earlier and Mago tripped him, he was abit on edge. "Well, name's Jaxus, eighteen years old just recently, and I'm a Blue Pegasus mage. My favorite hobby is travelin' on foot to get stronger and learn more, and my favorite color is sunshine.~" ...Was sunshine even a color? Someone could bring it up, but it was doubtful he'd even listen anyway... "Anyway, the thing I've noticed is the group is pretty, uh...what's the word..." Jaxus' eyes tilted up for a second, recalling information before he snapped his fingers with a "eureka" moment. "Diverse!~ It's a really diverse group we got.~" Jaxus chuckled innocently, as if proud he remembered such a simple word. "Anyway, I think I'm here cuz' I've done some good deeds with my magic, and that Mortisha probably wanted ta' thank me.~ Isn't that right, Persies?~" "Caaw!" //Yep!// |

Whatever. He had missed the kid, and looked stupid because of it. It didn't matter that much.... though Willows comment had annoyed him a bit he let it slide. He just sighed, picked up a sandwich, and munched on it. Okay, so he didn't actually munch on it. He inhaled it, then another, then another. Mago was practically matching Jaxus' in take... wasn't everyday he got to eat as much as he wanted for free. He dug in, and only half listened to what the girls had to say. Though one thing stood out to him, Willows distaste for the exhibitionist. Ah well, hopefully there was a reason for it other then the quips. After Fukumura, Mago figured nobody would be able to piss her off. He was wrong. He didn't bother denying the accusations, at this point he figured it was better just to roll with the blows. So Willow was going to leave her guild? Cool maybe he'd be able to get her to join the dark side.... they did make a good team after all. Whatever. Not like he needed a team.... Anyway, then the kid spoke. He was a member of the "Mago Burttodo... twenty one. I'm about to join Raven Tail and as a hobby.... don't really have one, unless you count smoking. My favorite color is.... non existent.... I'm here 'cause I helped somebody in a bar fight.... probably" Mago glanced at Willow, hoping she could come up with a story of her own. He had left out magic simply because he didn't trust people, he didn't want to fill them in on all of his abilities. Well Willow already knew, but she was an ally as far as he was concerned. He was more worried about the kid and the exhibitionist..... what was her name again? Charmin? Like the toilet paper? Ah well whatever, free food! Mago started to stuff his face again, though managing to look cool while he did it. He wasn't messy, or obnoxious, he ate in silence like some kind of food ninja. Hopefully free food would be the only thing he's treated to and this day would be nice and uneventful.... hopefully. |

The child didn't so much as flinch as the man's boot flew past her, nor did she seem to notice the boy screech and jump away from her as if he had rocket boosters strapped to his feet, simply chewing on the little sammich she had So. What was even happening. People were saying things. Cynthia's brain, while fairly adept at detecting patterns, was not the best at actually assigning specific meanings to those patterns. Which meant instead of recognizing they were saying their age, the little girl just assumed they were yelling out a random number. Or...something along those lines. She didn't read into things too deeply. Usually ended up confusing her more than she already was in the first place. Oh. Wait. Talking. Talking was important. "Um! Sin. Thee-a. Maxi...something-blah-blah. I don't remember. Um...4! No. 7-no, 5...hmm...9? 2! Bleh, I dunno." One might think Cynthia was simply trying to remember her age, but that was far from the case - she was literally just trying to find a number that sounded good. And failing. Horribly. "I like...um...red! And white! Dunno what a habbie is, though. I'm here 'cause...um...'cause Bugsy's here! Right-o, Bugsy?" With that, the pale child held up her little rabbit, moving her hand up and down to produce a nodding movement. With that, the orphan considered her introduction (something with such little context nor reason would hardly be considered an introduction in any normal situation, but this is Cynthia we're talking about here) completed, and proceeded to swipe the remainder of the silver-haired boy's - Jack-siss, if she had heard properly (which, obviously, she hadn't) - little finger sandwich to munch on, having seemingly enjoyed the taste. |

Willow only let out a grunt as she sat back and started nibbling on a few snacks she had picked up before sitting down. Chamirra on the other hand seemed to really enjoy the fact that she was getting so many different answers. One was from Blue Pegasus, one was from, or at least going to be, Raven Tail, and one had said she was from Fairy Tail! Oh so exciting! And the little girl? Well she seemed like a darling~ She responded to everyone in turn. Jaxus was first. "Oh very nice~ I hear that guild is a very nice and held together group. I couldn't help but notice that you and Silvia seem to be against one another? Or at the very least her smugness was defiantly outshined by your ability to handle it. And it seems we both have something in common here. We both like to travel and get stronger." She gave Jaxus a wink before turning to the next guy. Mago was next. A smile wormed its way onto her face as she glanced between Willow and Mago. Willow ignored her, as she was attempting to do with just about everyone currently regardless, but Chamirra would not be silenced. "Oh? You helped someone from a bar fight? It wouldn't happen to be Willow here now would it?" Her smile turned into a smirk as she leaned in closer. "And what you have told me says a lot about you, Mago. You aren't a very open person. I like that about you. And I hear Raven Tail is an interesting guild these days. Almost went MIA." Her gaze shifted to the little girl who was still stealing Jaxus' food. Laughing at that, she offered the girl her own food. "Calm down there before you choke on your food young lady. But it is nice to meet you, Sin. And Bugsy as well." The woman waved to the stuffed rabbit before returning to speaking to Cynthia. "And the color red is a very nice color. So is white. I think you are in some good company. Also, there is a free dinner later tonight so feel free to stick around." Finally, her attention went back to Willow. Silence as the only thing happening as the brunette finished munching on her chips. Munch munch munch munch. Once she swallowed, Willow opened her eyes and looked at the woman she was sitting next to. "Oh. You want me to speak again?" Chamirra just continued staring at her until Willow let out an annoyed sigh, took a sip of her water, and then spoke again. "I'm here because I was in a bar fight. I'm not remotely special in the least bit. As for everyone else; they suck." Willow's red eyes glanced over to Cynthia as the little girl started munching on food. As her dress moved around, the older woman could see the top of a guild tattoo. The top of what looked like Grimoire Heart. It was kind of hard to miss that kind of a tattoo. "Oh? You think everyone sucks? Even your boyfriend here?" That got Willow's attention which only caused Chamirra to smirk. "Yeah, I saw the way you two were looking at one another. Don't deny it. You two are an item." Willow stood up. Her plan was to get more food. But before that, she needed to smack a bitch...with words. "I take it back. Everyone here at this table seems pleasant but you. And Mago isn't my boyfriend. He's just a friend." Whatever anyone was planning to do seemed to be interrupted. A Butler came back into the garden and cleared his throat before speaking. "I am so sorry to stop the conversations...but our lady Mortisha has finally arrived. If you would all please stand." Everyone stood up and glanced up at the stairs as a woman with blonde hair came walking down. A grin had been placed upon her face, though if it was genuine or not was anyone's guess. Once she had reached the bottom of the stairs, she smiled and opened up her arms. "WELCOME TO MY LOVELY HOME! I am so sorry about the delay, but it seems as if I have eleven people at my party instead of ten. I wanted to make sure that I had a spare room so he or she could sleep well tonight. I hope everyone is doing well!" Placing her arms down, Mortisha took in a deep breath and continued to talk. "I would like to thank everyone for coming today. I am planning on doing one on one interviews with everyone, but for now, as I set up, please continue to talk freely with one another! I look forward to speaking with everyone shortly! If anyone has any questions, please feel free to speak up now before I make my way to the interview section." |

I don't even know.

Soon enough, Mago introduced themselves as a Raven Tail mage, confirming Jaxus observation of the group's diversity. Their reason for attending was abit strange, but perhaps they knocked out some evil dude in a bar fight? Then the child introduced herself, "Sin" she called herself apparently? Perhaps an abbreviation for something else? He wasn't quite sure why she was here or what she had done, but admittedly, she caused Jaxus to sincerely chuckle from her innocently childish demeanor. "Eh!?" As he prepared to take a bite of his sandwich again, Jaxus felt it ripped from his grasp, causing him to look at Sin with a pale, somewhat sad looking, stunned expression as she ate the rest. "M-my Sandwich..." Jaxus let out a slightly higher tone than usual, whiny in nature, looking as if he was about to cry. He was enjoying that so much...Luckily, Chamirra had commented before anything else could develop. "E-Eh...? ...Oh!~ Eheh!~" As Chamirra commented on how he handled Silvia, along with their similarities, Jaxus only gave a toothy wide grin with closed eyes, his right arm reaching over to nervously rub his neck in a somehow cheeky fashion. "Well, I honestly lost my temper, but I think she deserved it.~" With another playful chuckle, Jaxus down another few swigs of his beer. Soon enough, Willow was called upon once more, giving her reasoning for why she was there. Though, the very moment she said everyone else sucked, Jaxus happy, go lucky expression seemed to implode, looking like he just ate a bunch of sour candies at once. "......." "Caaaw...?" Persies responded oddly, looking at the boy, a certain, worried tone in it's call. Without a word, Jaxus simply gave a long sigh and got up from his seat, and walked back to the concession stand as the group coversed, something obviously eating at him now. Not wasting any time, he went straight to the liqueur section of the concession stand, taking a hold of the bottle of whisky. Before he could pour himself a shot, however, the Butler arrived and declared that Mortisha would arrive soon. For a brief moment, Jaxus looked at the butler, then the bottle, then back to the butler, before simply forgoing the shot glass and pouring a giant serving of whisky into the beer itself. A boilermaker sounded pretty nice, considering how the night was starting off. He was already standing, so it wasn't like he was being too rude anyway.~ With no questions in mind, Jaxus merely took a deep swig of his new mixed drink and took another sandwich from the table, taking a huge bite as he centered himself out. "Well, ta'night's just startin' Persies.~ It'll get better.~ I got a good feelin' bout' ta'night.~" "Caa-Ca-Caaw..." //You say that every night...// Persies only shook her head in dismay. Mago already wasn't in a good mood today. He had woken up on the wrong side of the bed...... and then come all the way to this mansion just to meet Fukumura with boobs. Okay so that was mean, she wasn't quite as bad as Fukumura.... at least not as annoying as him. But the way she went about things pissed Mago off, she was sneaky and calculating, aiming her punches..... Fukumura was just kind of yelling shit out. He sighed and closed his eyes when she tried to describe him. Then he opened his eyes slowly and spoke. "Who it was doesn't matter. I helped. And don't speak as if you know the first thing about me.... Just because I don't feel much like talking to you doesn't mean I'm not open. It just means I don't respect women who dress and act like you do..... who goes around and interrogates strangers about their love lives anyway? I suggest you drop the topic sooner rather then later......" And that's all he was going to say for now. He grabbed a sandwich and munched on it, looking bitter as ever. He eye'd Willow as she spoke, sighing at the Exquip mages continued questioning of her and him. Willow handled it well enough, and hopefully her words combined with him would set the exhibitionist straight. She really was annoying. He moved onto another sandwich, and in a second was about to join the kid and start drinking. But then the hostess showed up and spoke the last then Mago wanted to hear. He was going to be talking to more people.... probably without Willow which meant nobody he knew.... and that was probably going to be a problem. The hostess didn't seem so bad.... but still it was somebody he'd have to talk to. And he didn't want to talk to her.... okay well he did have questions but he wouldn't have to wait until they got one on one time for them to be answered, because she had offered to answer them now. "Why are we here...... your letter wasn't very specific..... I don't even remember it having my name in it, and I don't speak for everybody but I think it's fishy having all these different people meet out here with out a concrete reason.... though I'm still here right? So what's the reason, why spend money on strangers.... though I take it you know who we all are so not strangers exactly but still people you've never met....." Mago spoke first. He didn't care about the other guests reactions, he'd be satisfied once he got answers. |

The small child rested her chin on her hands, her gaze bouncing around the table to each of the gathered folks as they spoke; it was impossible to tell whether or not she was actually paying attention or just following the voices with her eyes without even thinking. Regardless, Cynthia did seem to be listening, if not too attentively, as she did look up and nod when addressed by the older woman. The next few minutes passed rather blandly while the others spoke, leaving the orphan very confused as to what was going on. It seemed as though the scary redheaded dude and the moody lady didn't like the nice lady. At least, that was all Cynthia could comprehend. The thought of asking one of them what was going on crossed her mind momentarily before lapsing back into the infinite void that was her mind. As the child began to lose interest, her attention was quickly stolen by the strange drink the funny grey-haired guy had left behind at the table. Having rather enjoyed the sandwiches, the crimson-eyed orphan supposed the drink couldn't be too bad, and proceeded to hoist her tiny frame up onto the table on her knees, crawling over to the glass, dipping a pale finger in it, and sampling the drink. "...BLEGH! Grooooooooooss grossgrossgross ewwwwwwww." It was rather clear that Cynthia had not found it particularly enjoyable, twisting her face and backing away off the table, slapping the drink away and spilling it in the process. "Blargh, why do adults like that!? A good question, albeit lacking an answer. Did I mention that Cynthia had been doing this during the time that the weird blonde lady apparently called "More-tea-shuh" had been speaking? Classic. Edited by Mango, Nov 23 2015, 03:57 AM.

Everyone's attention was to Mago as he asked the set of questions. The room became fairly quiet and before the hostess could answer, Cynthia had made her fairly large comment and then had all eyes on her. A few people snickered, but it still remained quiet as they waited for Mortisha to speak. And speaking of her, that smile she had turned into something, strange. A smirk almost. Regardless, she replied to him. "You seem to be asking all the right kind of questions, very interesting." Her smirk faded for a moment before she lifted her head and spoke out to everyone, not just the man asking the questions. "As I said before, I am a fan of what you do. I know none of you have ever seen me before, you haven't seen anyone here before I'm sure. Unless I am wrong, then that is fine. But I had asked you all here for a simple reason: Everyone here should be congratulated for all the hard work they have put into everything they have done. This money being spent is nothing if it means that I get to hang out with all of you for the night and hopefully get your names all across the kingdom. You know, like all the other famous mages out there. Don't you want that? Doesn't everyone want to be remembered for their deeds?" She paused and then let out a sigh, glancing at the time. "If you want a better answer, you can ask me in the interview. For now, if we don't get started, we'll never get done interviewing people. So I'll take the first person back with me, into the garden and we can speak and get to know you. From there, I'll tell him or her who is next and that way, they can get a name with the face. As for everyone else, please mingle and enjoy the food. Dinner is going to be at seven. No later. So if Randy Wise would please come with me, that would be great." A darker skinned man with black tattoos on his arms, roughly about 18-20, stood up from one of the tables and walked on over to Mortisha. Before you knew it, they were off in the garden, away from everyone else. Chamirra let out a soft chuckle and then turned to Cynthia. "Alright sweetie, why don't we get you something better to drink and maybe some more food? Away from these mean and rude people. They already made that other boy get up from the table. I really don't think we're welcomed here." She stood up and waited for Cynthia to follow her. And once she did, she asked another set of questions. You know, to get her to keep talking and have a pleasant time. "And maybe you can introduce me to your little rabbit friend? What is his or her name? What does he like to eat? What about you? If you didn't catch my name, I'm Chamirra." She gave the girl another smile as they made their way on over to the refreshment table. As for Jaxus, who was already there drinking, the kid from earlier, Nyler, came up to him. Whoa man! Take it down a natch or two. What's got you so down in the dumps? Strike out with one of the...well one of the girls?" He glanced over at Willow then to Chamirra then quickly back to Jaxus. "Dude I am so sorry you had to get paired with those girls. I mean the one girl with the longer hair seems like she isn't really nice. Like one of those cold hearted girls you read in the mangas that somehow everyone likes. And the other girl? I wouldn't be able to even look at her...." He took in a deep breath and let it you. "And what she said...do you really think she asked us here for getting us famous? I mean it's not like I've done anything special....but I have rescued a few cats in my day! And also I wanted to say just how cool you were when you went up against the other girl Silvia. She looked like she was going to rip you a new one." As for Willow and Mago? Well Willow just sat down in her seat again, if Mago wanted to go or not, that was up to him. But more than likely, knowing him, he was going to be talking or at the very least sitting down so, why not tell him something? "That little girl is from Grimoire Heart. I only saw some of her tattoo, but she is from there." Willow waited for him to chew on that, but as she did, one of the other girls had sheepishly walked up to them. As she got closer, Willow noticed her and turned her attention to the new girl with rather large grey eyes. The girl, Dollia, made a meep sound and glanced to the ground. "Ah...high...I don't mean to be intruding but...I was wondering if I could hang out with you guys? You seem not so...well I just hope that you guys aren't so like..." She glanced at the remaining people who were alone. Silvia was glaring daggers at Jaxus, Brandon was keeping his eyes closed and kind of just not being around people, Devon seemed to be having this energy flow from him, stating that he didn't want to be disturbed. Dollia looked back at the two and spoke to Mago. "Do you think this is really a good thing? I mean I am a mage, but I'm not anything special. I just help out in my grandparent's shop. I wanted to maybe get into a guild one day, but I'm not anything special....I mean you two might have something going on...Not like that! I didn't mean anything like that! Just..." As her cheeks flushed and her gaze shifted to the ground again, Dollia awkwardly stood there, looking to the ground. "I mean you two seem fairly powerful and I just wanted to know what could have possibly gotten me in here with powerful mages who are going to go places in life." I don't even know.

"Mmmmm?" As Mago asked his astute questions, Jaxus only continued to enjoy his boilermaker, sipping away the time. Mortisha seemed to give an apt, fitting reply, so much so that he really didn't question it. Soon enough, the first of them were called up, a "Randy Wise" apparently. Mago had brought up good points, but Jaxus being the sort he was, didn't see anything at all wrong with someone offering charity in good heart.~ ...The foolish boy. "Ey?" As Nyler approached and told him to slow down, he looked to the mixed drink with a curious look, before back to Nyler, a strange, slightly saddened look on his face, lips puckered. He might of struck out, just not with them. For a brief moment, Jaxus was reminded of how long it had been since he had seen Amelia. Pushing his worries to the side, for the sake fot he festivities. "It ain't them, Willow seems alright.~ Just..." Jaxus rolled his eyes, rather not detailing the perceived insults. Soon enough, Nyler brought up a good point about the whole festivity, before saying how cool he thought it was that Jaxus stood up to her. "Eheh!~" A cheeky grin appeared on his face once more, giving Nyler a nod. "Aye, really, I feel bad bout' it, but fer' all her talk, she was making her own guild look pretty immature, ya' know? I just kind of felt like someone needed ta' tell her...But..." Jaxus looked to the stage for Mortisha had previously stood, his lips puckering and twisting to the side, as if deep in thought. "That one guy, Mago, did kinda' raise a point, I didn't think bout' it, but...now that you mention it..." Jaxus looked to Cynthia for a moment, then Willow and Mago, before back to Nyler. "Two in my group were kinda' vague, somethin' bout a bar fight...and iunno what that little girl did to even get here...It's...kinda strange, now that I think bout' it..." As Jaxus vented his new musings to Nyler, he caught wind of Silvia glaring at him, to which he replied with a dumbfolded, "Who, me?" sort of clueless look, before suddenly giving a goofy grin, shrugging, and turning back to Nyler. "So, hey, Nyler, hope ya' don't mind me askin' but ya' musta' done somethin' other than cat rescue or two, right? Come on, I wanna' hear.~" Jaxus chuckled playfully, truly interested in hearing any of Nyler's exploits, no matter how small they were. After all, tonight was supposed to be for celebration and merriment, was it not...? |
