Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Mission Link

Ashia yawned softly as she sat in the Fairy Tail mess hall, it was mid to late afternoon she wasn't sure which really. Currently she was just sitting at a table, a glass of water in hand as she eyed the mess hall. It was quiet and calm, oddly enough. Perhaps because it was late afternoon and most people of Fairy Tail were elsewhere or asleep, sleep did sound nice but Ashia had to get some money coming in or at least a bit extra. Finishing up her water she slowly made her way to the mission board, a bunch had recently been placed up and so she figured there'd be something miniscule or easy to do and get some cash. She stood, slanted slightly as she read them, they all seemed so boring and just not worth the money. Sighing she pulled one from the board, some guy who apparently killed his wife after getting his name put in the will to the house needed scaring out of the mentioned house. Seems the now deceased wife's family wasn't very pleased. Scaring some guy out of a house looked like the one to be most fun, though how she'd do it was another question entirely. Ashia needed a partner in crime, so to say.

She scanned the mess hall, there wasn't many people, a few dozen at best but there had to be someone in need of money or bored or was just simply friendly enough to tag along and help out. Ashia soon climbed up onto a table and rolled the long sleeves of her top up to her elbows before calling out, "Who wants to come along and scare some guy out of a house?" She called out, looking about the room, looking for someone to either raise their hand or come up to her and hopefully it wouldn't take too long. Ashia didn't exactly want to be left standing there looking like an idiot infront of a bunch of people she hardly knew.

Willow had been sitting in the guild hall for what felt like a life time. Why was she here? What did she think was going to happen with all these people here? That some random person was going to call out to her and then magically they would start up something? That never happened. And then someone jumped up on the table, doing just what Willow said wasn't going to do, nearly causing her to spit out her drink. A hand had quickly covered her mouth as the other placed the drink down upon the table. That was enough drinking for right now.

Shifting her gaze up to the woman upon the table, the Ex-Quip Mage thought it over. Would she really want to go ahead and pick up a mission with some random stranger in the guild? Eh, why not. It wasn't as if she had anything better to do. So while everyone else was sitti g around and staring at the poor girl, Willow calmly stood up, alerting people that she was going to do this, and walked over to her female guild mate. "I'll do it."

She took the mission request from the other girl and started reading it over. It looked simple enough. All they had to do was scare some guy out if the house. Hopefully this house was a large house so the two girls could at the very least work together doing whatever it was that was needed to get done. A few doors uocked, calling out to him, blaming him for the death, and maybe just scaring him out of the room long enough to actually start rearranging his furniture. All they had to do was not get caught by him and they were good to go.

Glancing out the window, it seemed as if it was the oerfect time to be doing this mission. Luck seemed to be on their side already. "Looks like this was good timing. We should hurry up and get approved for this." She paused a moment. Maybe a bit if an interdiction was in order. "Willow Heart by the way."

Ashia scanned the room and her gaze set up on a woman who walked over to her, agreeing to do the mission. The brunette stepping down off of the table as the woman took the request from her, could have waited to be handed it, so rude. Ashia wasn't going to say anything though as she didn't mind in all honesty, she stood there as the girl read it and then introduced herself as Willow Heart. Nodding she took the mission request back and quickly returned to the mission board, speaking with the tender and pointing towards Willow as she did so. After a minute or so she returned to the woman, "It's approved, let's get going then Willow." She smiled gently before heading towards the guild's doors and opening one up, keeping it open as a friendly gesture to Willow. "My name's Ashia by the way, or you can just call me Ash." She then said to the other woman as they began to walk the street, the sun was slowly starting to set as the sky started to become a light orange in colour.

Truth be told it was a bit awkward, Ashia hadn't really spoke to many people in Magnolia despite living here. The most conversation she had had with a single person was the owner of a small grocery store that she shopped at. Smiling a little, she decided to take the initiative and at least try and seem normal. "Got any ideas on how we're going to flush this scumbag out?" She asked the woman next to her, not hiding what she thought of the man but deciding to choose her words carefully so as to not offend the woman who had agreed to go on this mission with her. Ashia would at least have to follow with her normal life and come across as a friendly, even innocent person. She was friendly of course but not exactly innocent.

Brilliant. This was just fantastic. And for once, not in the sarcastic way. With the mission already approved and the two girls only having to just go to the site and then start scaring the living crap out of this man, it made the night seem to go just a bit smoother. Sooner they got to the mission house, the sooner they could be done and the sooner Willow could actually go to sleep. Who knew how long this was going to take. Hopefully not all night. That would just be plain boring.

As the two girls started to walk out, heading to the place in question, Ash had asked her how they were going to get this rat out of the house? Well how could one get a rat out? You use traps and secret techniques passed down by many generations...alright maybe not the second time. But traps and other things. But exactly how were they going to do this? "Well he killed his wife for the money, right? Why not just have the man think the woman he murdered in cold blood is haunting him? One of us dress up like her while the other does other things. Though I think the who dressing up part is going to work best at the end. We start giving him the signs it's him. Start moving around pictures, stare at him from room to room. Move things around. It has to be a big enough house for us to roam freely."

Willow returned to a thinking stage, stopping her speech then and there. They were going to more or less break into a house, possibly scare a man half to death just to get him out of a house, and maybe a few other things for some money. It was all an interesting thought. Was this something that normal people dream about doing when they join a guild? Maybe, maybe not. Regardless, they needed to do this mission. "How do you think he killed her? Poison? Or did he right out hack her up and leave her outside to die? We should also figure that out so we can scare him correctly."[color]

It seemed Willow was also unsure of how they were going to go about getting rid of the wife killer. Though the other female soon spoke up, seemingly as if she had a plan. Ashia listened closely. Her plan made sense, make the man think the woman he killed was haunting him and with two females on this mission it should prove easy to do just that. Ash nodded slowly, "Indeed, that sounds like the best plan. I might be able to add in some effects." The brunette replied, with a little grin as she had thought of an interesting way to use her magic to amplify the haunting. With a small grin, she kept walking down the street and leading Willow to the house. From memory of the address, it seemed they were getting close although Ashia didn't know Magnolia that well, only the main streets and those she had visited.

Ashia soon raised an eyebrow as Willow asked her how she though the man killed her. She nodded, a little, understanding why Willow had brought it up. "I'm not sure to be honest, poison most likely. He's not in jail and has the house, so he must be clever ... Or stupidly lucky." Ash nearly spat, some venom in her voice. This guy was really getting to her and part of her wanted to walk up to him and just beat the living shit out of him. She was sure the family would approve, but Ashia herself wouldn't. She wouldn't forgive herself for it and chances are she'd end up killing him. Shuddering a little at the thought, "Here, the house is just up there. Maybe we should ask next door or something just to get a bit more information." Ashia would say before she raised a finger to point at a house at the end, it was big, two stories in fact. It looked lovely but was in no way a mansion but chances are it was still rather costly.

So they were both in agreement. They would figure out a way to get the guy to think that they are his long lost lover he killed in order to get the house in question. And speaking of the house, it seemed as if, after a short walk on over there, that they had made it. A nice house, looked a bit costly, but not exactly as big as Willow would have thought it would have been. If you were going to kill someone over a house, you might as well go for the big ones that cost a fortune, no? Go big or go home. But it wasn't her call and really she shouldn't have been encouraging those kinds of actions.

"As much as I want to say stupidly lucky, I'm sure he is clever enough to attempt to hide it. Just not smart enough to keep it." Even though she realized that it sounded fairly bad, the girl didn't bother to counter with anything to try and repair the statement and make her look less bad. She said what was on her mind so screw whoever it offended. Simple as that.

Turning her gaze to the other house, Ashia had suggested talking with the people who lived next door. That was also a good idea. Why not actually ask them? Maybe they could shed some light on a few holes they were missing. "Sounds like a solid plan. A bit of research before heading in." So Willow diverted her path to the other house. Once she had made it there, she knocked on the door and waited for whoever was going to answer the door to answer the door. It was still early enough...right? Eh, whatever.

Willow responded in kind, she believed the man to be clever which seemed the logically explanation at least. Ashia nodded gently before they stopped in the street with their target, Ash soon suggesting they gather some information first which Willow agreed on. The woman soon moving to a house and knocking on the door which soon opened to reveal an elderly woman, Ashia was out of earshot so she had no idea what was said between the pair. The brunette moving to the other side of the street and knocking on a door, a man answered it. The man was in his late sixties perhaps with a balding head and looked at Ashia with surprise. "Sorry to bother you, I'm here on Guild business. I was wondering if you could tell me anything about the resident in the house just up the road." She asked and the man seemed to sigh, nodding softly.

The man looked at Ashia for a moment before speaking, "It's terrible what happened. I spoke to the woman the day she died, she was getting getting some vegetables from my stall. I remember, three tomatoes, two onions and some belladonna." He said, Ashia sort of looked at him blankly. Belladonna? He sold her belladonna of all things? If the woman had ingested it then no wonder she died, but why did the old man have it and did the woman know this? Or was this part of the husbands scheme? Interesting. "She was happy, bright and bubbly as always. I recall her mentioning something about going away to Akane Island with her husband. Though, it seems that little scum bucket had other ideas ... Oh, sorry miss, I don't get riled up normally but, there's something about that guy. It's no wonder a lot of people think he killed her." The old man continued and Ashia was intrigued. "Well, thank you for the help that's definetly something to consider." She replied and waved goodbye as the man closed the door gently.

She pondered for a moment as she waited for Willow. So the old man had sold her belladonna, what kind of stall did he have? Some vegetable, herbal stall it seemed though he would have warned her about the belladonna. Well, he wouldn't have to it would've been labled. Had he forgotten? No, it didn't seem that way as despite his age he appeared to have a good memory. Perhaps the husband had discovered what the herb did and decided to use it. No one would notice a leaf missing of a plant. But why? They were going away, why kill her?

Something didn't add up here.

Oh an elderly lady. That was nice. So very....oh alright time to get this over with. "Good evening. Sorry to bother you but I would like to ask you a few questions." The older woman smiled at her. "Oh isn't that nice, a young lady has come to the door asking little old me a question. What can I help you with my dear?" Already a terrible way to start this encounter, but not the worst way. "I am from the guild near by and have been asked to look into the sudden death of the woman next door. Can you tell me anything about the man she had married or the woman that had been killed?"

The little old lady opened the door fully and pondered a moment, leaving Willow to stand there for days on end it felt like. But the girl never said a word. She just waited to see what kind of information came from the woman's mouth at her own pace. It was a snail's pace, but it was her very own pace. Soon this little old grandma finally started talking. "You kind of remind me of that sweet girl. She had nice long brown hair and was very pretty. No wonder all the men had gone after her. I am sure you have to keep all the men off of you too." The woman smiled at her own jape but Willow kept the same expression on her face, waiting for her to continue. "But the girl was so full of life and so easily distracted. Her new Husband often used to take her out on different trips all over the kingdom. Just the day she died she and her husband had plans to go out. They had asked someone to watch over their house...I can't remember who it was. Maybe a son or something or...no I can't remember now. Some male I am sure. Anyways that is all I can give you. They seemed like great people."

"Thank you for your time and your information. Have a nice night." Willow parted ways with the woman and went down to see what Ashia had gathered. "It seems as if our lovely couple seems to have gone out a lot and they would ask someone to babysit the house. Also as it turns out, the girl looked like us so in the right lighting, we should be able to trick him into thinking we're her." Willow crossed her arms and looked up at the building that they were more or less going to be breaking into in just a short time form now. Wasn't it funny how on one side of the equation it was breaking and entering and on the other side it was just doing a mission?

She returned her attention back to Ashia. "So did you find anything interesting with the person you were talking with?"

Ashia pondered for a moment on what she had found out though she was joined by Willow shortly after gathering her information. The couple went out a lot and would ask someone to watch the house when they did, that made sense. Apparently the woman looked like them, well that was a nice bonus. Nodding slowly, Ashia began to tell Willow of her information that she had discovered. "The two had planned to go away together, to Akane Island. On the day she died she had bought some things; three tomatoes, two onions and belladonna." Ashia replied as she folded her arms softly, "I'm not sure if you know, but belladonna is quite a poisonous plant ... Assuming you eat it which is why no one should ever eat it. The store owner, the man I just talked to, would've warned the woman or perhaps she knew already. The question then becomes whether or not the husband knew this and decided to add some to her dinner, she appeared to be cooking a meal the day she died." Ashia then added, explaining her view on the matter of the poisonous plant.

She crossed her lip a bit, "It doesn't make sense. Regardless of how she died, we have no motive. She was happy from what I heard and if she looked like us then she would've been quite pretty," Ashia began before her cheeks blushed softly as she called Willow pretty, which she was but ... Anyway, moving on. "S-so there's no reason for the husband to kill her, especially if they were going out of town. I feel like we're missing something or perhaps someone. Something to connect the husband to the murder and I feel as though the answer is in there." Ash finished before her attention turned towards the house, the sun was getting lower in the sky and it would be dark soon, it seemed like it was time to fully start the mission.

"Are you ready, Willow?" Ash asked with a small smirk.

Willow listened to what Ashia had said and frankly, she was right. The two were in love and it seemed as if nothing was really going wrong so why did he kill her? He had the money and he had the wife and he had the house. Something was off. Or someone wasn't telling the truth or was hiding something. It irked Willow just a lot. How could you have so many new questions with just one set of questions. Whatever. It was time to get something going and break into that house and scare the man to death. Or to confession.

So she stretched and started to walk up to the house. "Ready as I'll ever be." Was one really ready to break into a house? Well maybe sure. But she wasn't exactly sure how to do it. Was there a rule to this? Was there some sort of code or procedure? She was just so new to this. Maybe if they were lucky, the guy would have the backdoor just unlocked. After all, who would really expect two girls to be trying to break into your house at night?

Well walking right up to the backdoor, being all sneaky like, and attempting to open it just wasn't an option. Apparently he was a bit more careful then just letting the door be open. So new plan. Taking a look around, Willow glanced up and over to the side to see that there was an open window. Perfect. Maybe if she could give Ashia a lift, or vice versa, she could get inside and then open the door for her. Or maybe even help her up into the window. Now to tell her the plan of action.

"Alright so I'll give you a lift and maybe you can reach the window up there. If you get inside, you can let me in and we can start getting down to business. Sound like a plan?"
