Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Sayael always nagged him to take better care of himself, especially when he was always compelled by his magic at least once in a month to feed on human blood. But Keiran was just stubborn and perhaps a little careful because he did not want to repeat what happened back then when he had killed a person because of the magic’s curse. No, he had to keep reminding himself that he was not being himself that time because no rational man would ever kill another person just for their blood.

He sighed, but he knew very well that he was no ordinary human, a normal one at that, and this curse was likely to plague him for the rest of his life if he didn’t know how to control it. He sighed another time as he came out of one of the darker alleys of Belladonna, looking out to the almost empty street. It was one of the less traveled path in Belladonna and though not as pristine as it should be, it still spelled homey with regard to its atmosphere. But should he really be there? If things took a wrong turn, he might end up attacking someone.

“Oy!” said a voice as he was pushed from behind. Keiran, who was absent-minded, was easily thrown to the side of the alleyway and look back to the large thug who had appeared, a knife on his hand. “Give up all your money.” So it was a robbery.

Keiran smiled weakly as he could feel his urge to drink this man’s blood rise up. No, he had to hold in it. He shook his head for a bit before he launched himself to the thug and made quick work of him, throwing him across the ground while disarming his knife in one go. A splash of dirty ruined his white jacket in the process so he clicked his tongue in annoyance before kicking the man in the face. He then turned about and began to walk into the streets, hoping he could just convert all his bloodthirst to something like brawling. It used to work when he wanted to abstain from drinking human blood. He just hoped it would satisfy his thirst this month.

It was around 8 pm in Belladonna, the bustling city of magic. Proabably the most advance city around. For the young Lamia Scale mage Rhonin, he was simply exploring at this time. He was looking at the different magic stores and workshops. He was otherwise just going out before having to head back home to the Lamia Scale dorms. Normally, someone his age of 14 wouldn't be allowed out this late without a shaparone.

Of course, he was not alone...

"Don't get any funny ideas staying out too late, Rhonin. You know we got some work tomorrow," Tigger said, his orange and black striped Exceed friend said as he flew above Rhonin with his magical white wings.

Rhonin sighed. "And I thought my older brother patronizing me was tiring. Seriously, Tigger!" the young boy argued back. "Come on Tigger. I am a skilled mage and part of one of the best guilds in Fiore. How about a little permission to stay up past bedtime. I'm not a little kid anymore. And you don't have the authority to put me to bed."

Tigger had his arms crossed as he glided besides Rhonin. "Well as your guardian angel- tiger, I consider it my job to remind you of the actions leading to your best interests." He said.

"Now your just sounding like my mother," Rhonin replied, causing a sour expression to appear on the cat.

As the two bickered lightly, they did not know that danger would soon make the night alot more difficult.

Keiran had always admired Belladonna, probably from the rumours he’d heard about the city. It was his hope, after all, to find a way to reverse his curse and possibly grant him a better one. Because as far as he could tell, this curse was just as annoying as the fate that brought him to this point. And it wasn’t at all fun to have to lingering urges to suddenly attack anyone who could provide him with the necessary blood to satisfy the mysterious thirst that only comes once a month.

He staggered slightly as he came to view of the open streets. It was only one of the smaller streets in the area and only when he walked halfway through the less crowded street did he realize it was a bad idea. Sure, he was hoping to find a bar and perhaps get a drink and perhaps get into a brawl and let out the frustrations and the urges through relishing the adrenaline of a fight, but now that he was within reach of a few humans, he began to feel uncomfortable. This the was the first time he had abstained for quite a long time and he was really on the brink of losing it.

So it wasn’t unexpected when he accidentally bumped into someone, or something, without even knowing it. He bounced back before he knew it and then laid his eyes on a floating object. No, it wasn’t an object. It was a floating cat. Or tiger. He looked at it curiously for a little while before he winced and then remembered his thirst. So his eyes quickly laid upon the boy next to the floating thing as he pushed the said floating tiger aside and grabbed the boy on the shoulder. He leaned close in a desperate measure and whispered.

“Say, can I drink your blood? Even just for a few gulps?” he asked as politely as he could though he was slowly losing control of his body as the hand that would be holding on the boy’s shoulder began to grip tightly, quite contrary to his pale and weakened complexion.

They had turned to a dark street despite their arguing but had calmed down. The lamp posts lit by magic flickered about. But neither knew they were being followed. Still the silence and lack of people made their choice of route back to the guild was probably not a smart thing. Still, they had continued and didn't think of anything-- unaware of the stranger lurking behind them.

As the two talked to one another, being pleasant, Tigger's ears soon twitched to the presence of someone behind them. THen...

"Say, can I drink your blood? Even just for a few gulps?" a voice rasped.

The grip on Rhonin's shoulder made the young mage scream in fright till--

"MROWW!!!" TIgger roared and slashed his little claws in the path of the stranger's arm, forcing him to let go of Rhonin. Rhonin turned around as well as he distanced himself from the stranger. Tigger fluttered beside him, now glaring at the stranger. "Stay back or I will cut you to ribbons, you maniac! " Tigger warned.

Rhonin turned to see the stranger, being a boy perhaps a few years older than Rhonin was. Still, the creepy look on his expression made him look like a serial murder. Or worse, as he wanted blood... A vampire?!

"What the? Is he ... a vampire ? Here?!" Rhonin said, alarmed. At that time, his Rune eye appeared before him, reading the power that the person had. He could see his magic power, and it was pretty high. Rhonin felt scared of this person. "Tigger this is bad! His magic is very powerful."

The person began to get closer, but RHonin was not about to let it get closer. "Get back! No blood for you!!" Rhonin shouted.

CLAP! He brought his gloved hands together and as he separated them, a glow of arcane magic appeared before him. "Arcane Barrage!!" he roared, releasing a beam of arcane magic right for the attacker.

With that, Rhonin and Tigger quickly fled, trying to escape as the blast of moderate magic would hit the enemy, giving them a chance to escape before it could drink blood.

Keiran was in no position to really get into a fight despite his earlier behaviour of just trying to find something else to vent out his inner demon through brawls, which was why when the tiger-like-floating creature had suddenly stopped him from his advance to the young man, he was surprised and he immediately staggered back before he was met with more force and confused retaliation. Well, he deserved it no matter how much one would look at the situation he was in, so he rolled back and crashed to the ground after that short barrage of arcane power.

“Sneaky bastard,” he uttered as he quickly pushed himself back to a stand. Now like earlier, he had wanted this night to either end quietly by a nice drink enough for the next month, or a brawl fight, but to fight a mage whose smell was quite nice and no doubt his blood would taste like heaven as well, the inner urge suddenly shifted. Gone was the passive-aggressive and Keiran knew only of one nature of his – to hunt.

“I’m coming for you!” he roared with a great huff just as he felt the sensation within his bloodstream come alive. Perhaps his cursed magic had realised that he had found a suitable target that it would so easily agree upon Keiran’s decision in this matter, thus granting him a sudden boost of physical capabilities, breaching human limitations.

He lowered his head but kept his gaze along the trail of the mage ran to and with a great kick against the paved ground, breaking the stone steps in the process, he was off to a jumpstart. With increased physical capabilities, Keiran would dash across the streets without a second for concern. His eyes glowed its eerie yellow as he would then caught sight of the target at the other end of the street. His grin widened as he made a quick turn on his run and hurry to catch up. And should he near the target, he would lunge at the other without bothering the possible consequences of crashing or worse, destroying public property along the way.
