Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Her Jinrai worked wonderfully well, causing the wiring that held up the hydra's heads to more or less ensnare Suijin and his pet croc further. In fact, unless they got out from under the props, they would be almost incarcerated. Hearing the din of the audience, she would have liked to turn and look at their faces, read their expressions... but that would mean putting her back to Suijin, and she didn't want to hazard the success of this battle just to observe the crowd, who still were unaware of what was going on. She was surprised that she could have had such an effect on the audience; even Benzio was applauding her, though she wanted to send a correcting glare his way. The danger was not yet past, and yet he was more interested in the proceedings of the battle, not as the struggle that would ensure his safety, but as a live stage presentation. He really had a passion, albeit inordinate, for the theatrical arts.

The mist soon returned, and Cleia took a defensive stance, expecting an attack to come out of nowhere. Nothing happened, however. She looked over to Benzio to ensure that he wasn't being kidnapped again under cover of fog, but that wasn't occurring, either. She noticed the hydra prop go motionless, with a very dramatic 'expiration' by the crocodile. And the mist slowly cleared.

Of Suijin and his pet croc, there was no sign, and she was sure that they had made their escape on noticing the theater guard that were gathering backstage. However, she had one more big problem to deal with: the audience. They were on their feet, roaring with applause, and Cleia's first instinct was to bolt for cover, but she restrained herself. She noticed that the original cast who had been knocked out of the play, literally, had come back to and emerged out of all the fallen props covering them. On seeing the cheering crowd, they didn't bother asking Cleia who she was; they just bowed, like such actors would at the end of a play. Cleia, quick to pick on, bowed along with them, exited the stage along with them, then ran for her life like a chased hare once she was backstage.

It seemed that the greatest threat was past, though she might still hang around to ensure that Benzio lived through the night. She just had to locate him now... ah, there he was! In fact, he was obviously looking for her.

"Bravo! Bravo! Splendid! That was once of the most brilliant performances I've ever seen. The way it all went down, and so brilliantly acted out, too. I haven't seen the audience this worked up in a while." He patted her on the shoulder. "You, child, were born for the stage!"

Cleia didn't know what to say or do to him. He had not even mentioned anything about Suijin and Vector, or expressed any fears that they would be back, but with the 'ordeal' he had been through this day, perhaps she would go easy on him.

"Uh-huh, you don't say..." she replied, not at all convinced by what he was saying.

Water Dragon Slayer

The escape from the theature was smooth enough under the cover of the Water Dragon Slayer's mist as both Suijin and his crocodile friend had sneak out right under the guards' noses. They had now snuck out into the night of the city and had reached the boarder.

Things certainly did not go as smoothly as Suijin had hoped but in a way they did... scare the playwrite to know Tartaros was a bit more deavious than he intended. The reason for them to go was to show him that if he bashed about Tartaros or any dark guild for the Barrum alliance, then they would have to pay the conscequences. Though the 'lesson' turned out to be effective but humiliating.

Suijin wished Vector had made finger sandwiches of his fingers or give him a good look of his maw-- but NOOOOOO.... The stupid reptile had to try and audition for the guy's dumb performances.

"Whoot! That was a blast! I never felt so alive," Vector said in a rather cheery and upbeat tone.

Slowly, Suijin turned to Vector as they were on the hilltop below the moonlight. They were safe out of the city but Vector was NOT safe from Suijin after the humiliation he had. "What are you talking about? I wanted you to torment the guy, not subject him to your musical 'talent', " Suijin said with a quotation to insult Vector for his hit-and-miss singing talents.

Vector however was too high in his self-esteem to really take it badly. "But did you see me on the stage? I was a natural out there, and hey that Belzido guy or whatever liked it. I see a new future for me!" At that moment, Vector stood upon the hill towards the moon with a 'sparkle' around him. "I have found a new calling for the stage! I'm destine to be a staaaar!"

...

WHAM!! Suijin delivered a mighty kick to the crocodile's tail that sent Vector screaming and flying up into the sky where he for the moment winked out into the sky-- and likely to land somewhere far away, possibly back at the lakes near home. (Cartoon death-- not real death to make Vector shut up :P )

Well he was a star NOW, as he twinkled in the sky for the moment before he would fall back eventually.

Suijin rubbed his forehead as he decided to head back to Coreopsis. But one thing made this mission amusing. Cleia, the young fairy tail wizard. Fighting her was enjoyable. Perhaps should fate have them cross paths again, she may prove to be a more amusing challenge than she had been today. Either way, he enjoyed getting her all wound up and perhaps it would encourage her to be stronger. Then, fighting her would be that more enjoyable.

He grinned as he walked off into the dark of the night. (End post)

The rest of her stay with the playwright was certainly not as eventful as the moments before. She had reported the case to the guard, and they had searched for Suijin and Vector, though Cleia was sure that they would have been long gone by now. It was not surprising when the news came that the dark mages were nowhere to be found. At least, it was certain that they were no longer in Poinsettia, so Benzio was safe.

Benzio seemed to have learned his lesson to some extent. He still gave his speech, though he was careful about the words he used when he referred to the dark guilds. Perhaps he still was not so frightened of them to keep from delivering his speech, but now he would be much more cautious. Cleia hung around to hear the speech, though she had seen enough of the theater for a night to want to stay back and continue watching other plays.

After 'extricating' herself from Benzio, who made her promise to consider a career in acting (she could only get rid of him by assuring him that she would think about it... but she didn't tell him how many times she would think on such a thing that was, in her opinion, not her forte), she returned to the train station. Being a bit of an independent girl, she didn't want anyone to have to accommodate her, and renting a hotel room in this place could be even more expensive than taking the next train to Magnolia.

And thus it was, that moments later, she was on a train, bound for home. As she rested her head against the window and stared at the dark lavender forests that passed by, she couldn't help but think back on the scrape she had found herself in this evening. There were so many strong and powerful people out there, and many of them were obviously not benign. To be able to survive in a world such as this, she needed to develop a strength of her own. Sometimes, she wished she was not so timid, because it always made her hold back.

As her eyes drifted shut, a ghost of a smile played across her lips then disappeared. She was relieved that this mission, awkward as it had gotten, was ultimately a success... and perhaps a step to getting the strength she needed to stay true to herself and her friends.
