This was going to be good. She had never been on a mission with Natora before or spent a lot of time with her which was a shame. She liked her she was probably the best friend Madison had. Miguel was more of a boyfriend or was before he disappeared.

Which thinking about it made Madison pissed. She had gone to the bathroom because she wanted to be prepared for the mission. Looking at the mirror it just made her pissed and she smashed it into the mirror cracking it.

Her eyes were black with how mad she was. The magic was flowing through her, her hair was completely black because of it. If emotions could drive her magic to do unlock the underworld; we would be seeing hell on earth.

Shooting herself in the foot. Madison calmed down. This was supposed to be a joyous day. They were going to go help with a wedding. The pain was the only thing that could get her mind off of it. It also took down her energy some which made it easier.

Later on she would apologize for the mirror but for now she went out into the guild hall to go find her friend. They had a place to be and least there was more then one mirror in the restroom.

It was take two on a mission. This time it was with someone she had actually known. It was her own teammate Madison. The two had decided that maybe it was time to get to know one another better now that Miguel was gone. Thinking about it, it was a shame that the two didn't actually know one another that much. At first, the two really only hung out with one another because of Miguel. Yet, now that he was gone, what did that make them? They were teammates, and they were friends, or at least that was the hope.

Regardless, they were on a mission together to go and help cater a wedding with a man who had little to no help doing this. So what they had to do was to give people some food and make sure that they were taken care of, and keeping the new bride and groom happy as well. So it seemed like it was going to be a mad house, but that wasn't going to stop her. A mission was a mission, no matter how dull it was.

So she went to the guild hall and waited for Madison. A few moments had passed and the blue haired girl had found her only female friend and waved to her. Was she meant to say something to her? Maybe they needed to hug? No that would be awkward. Man, why was this such a weird thing? They were friends, the ice needed to be broken. "You know, it's oddly quiet with Miguel and Neko not here." It was true. With them both there, something was always happening. Brushing the comment to the side at the moment, Natora turned to the mission. "The mission should be easy, no? All we have to do is make sure people are fed. What kind of catering do you think we'll be asked to do?"

It did not take long to find Natora or more like she found Madison. Though even though Madison considered them friends it was still awkward. Had they ever had a conversation without Miguel? There was nothing significant that she could remember. Miguel tore more then just their emotions when he disappeared. When he got back he would not be so happy about leaving without saying a word. Madison would promise that.

"I guess so. He was always causing trouble but might be good thing he isn't here. I would probably shoot him till I run out of energy."
There was no joke in her voice. Madison was serious. She was not happy with the situation. Even if they were going to break up or something saying something would have been nice.

"I just hope it isn't a bore. I have been on boring missions and it just isn't as interesting. Least I will have you to keep me company."
Madison said with a weak smile. You could tell in her voice she meant it but she was still having a hard time calming herself down.

"Not completely sure. I have never catered before. Maybe some cooking or least serving the food and getting things in their right places." Madison replied. It was feeling a little robotic to Madison though and she didn't like it but she couldn't think of what to say to change the situation.

Natora might not have been the type of person to actually show her emotions, but she did know what emotions were. Or at least knew what the signs were. Madison was not happy that Miguel had left. In fact, she as fairly upset. And truth be told, it was a little- alright a lot- weird to see her just so broken. But, it was alright. Alright maybe it wasn't alright, but it was alright. Why? Well Natora also was not happy that Miguel was gone. He was her very first friend and then he up and left her. Sure he was dating Madison, but he was like a brother to her. Or at least she thought of it something along those lines.

"If it makes you feel any better, the moment I see him, I will try and at least hurt him." She might have even gone as far as saying that she would kill him, but, that seemed, at the very least at this current situation, a bit on the extreme side. Madison was already sad and a bit angry at the situation, no need to have her attacking her as well.

Walking out of the guild with Madison in toe, it was time to actually get the mission underway. What they needed to do was to get this catering thing done. And so far, it didn't seem like it was starting out on the right foot. With Natora's inability to help emotionally and Madison's relatively downer mood, the blue haired girl was wondering if they were going to be able to actually get this mission done without causing some kind of melancholy mood at what should have been a happy event. Maybe, if they were lucky, the two would walk out of this in a bit of a better mood.

"Well, if they have us trying to cook, all I know is I haven't actually cooked before so I hope the guests like burned food. But if they have me serving, I could try and act happier...and not attempt a red wedding." Not killing everyone at the wedding would be real good. And as bad as it was, that was her attempt to be funny. Evidently, she wasn't really funny.

"You are probably not the only one." Madison replied to Natora's comment about hurting Miguel. She would probably hurt Neko too because she knew he would make some witty comment that would piss her off.

"But I guess we should talk about other things. Right now he is not worth our time and I am sure we can think of things to make him pay if he ever gets back."
She honestly was not wanting to deal with Miguel she was pissed off as it was. More they talked about it more likely someone was going to get hurt and she was already starting to limp.

"Well it is a good thing I can cook. Not sure if I can make wedding food but I can at least try." This was more proof that Madison didn't really know Natora. This was kind of sad they should have done this long ago. Definitely before Miguel left. Then they could have tried bonding better without the anger towards Miguel.

"Killing people would be bad. I don't think we could accomplish the mission that way."
Trying to be a little more light with her tone. It could be heard that she was forcing it but it wasn't like she was still completely upset anymore.

As they walked to their destination a thought crossed her mind as it had come and gone plenty of times before. "If you don't mind me asking. Is there a reason it has taken us so long to do a mission together? Are we not friends?" They had been through some stuff; mostly because of Miguel. Madison hadn't told Natora of her secrets but it wasn't like she was against her knowing it just never came up.

The realization that there was an even bigger rift in this strange friendship was even more apparent. If she had been on a mission with a stranger, there wouldn't have been much of the small talk to deal with. Just a hello my name is, nice to meet you, and move on to the mission. With Madison it was well...it was this. And to make things even more awkward was the fact that she, Madison, wanted to know why they hadn't gone on a mission together in the first place, long before this one.

Honestly, Natora didn't have an answer to that question. Why hadn't she gone out on a mission with her before this? Was it timing? Was it that she didn't want to deal with actually trying to be her real friend? Or was it something else? She didn't exactly have a correct answer for that, but she still needed to answer the question. "I don't know. We are friends, or at least I think we are."

Silence came from the blue haired girl as she walked towards the wedding destination with her friend, or at least whom she thought was her friend. As they had managed to walk up to the venue where the bride and groom had wanted their reception, it was time to start thinking about her mission. Or at the very least what they needed to do for the mission. Which was, at this point, to go and find the chef who was in charge of everything.

Walking into the venue, it was a pretty little place. Actually it felt as if it had been taken out of a fairy tail book. The venue was this adorable little garden with pools and fountains and different kinds of flowers. The perfect kind of wedding site for the perfect kind of people more than likely. And after the first initial look on the place, Natora turned to Madison. "It's kinda bad. I am expecting Neko to come out of a bush holding a rose and walking up to me, asking me to marry him any second now." She let out a breath and started walking into the place now. "Alright, lets go find the guy so we can get this over with."

This was not easy for Natora. Madison knew of Natora’s difficulty with social situations. Which was probably what made Natora have such a hard time considering them friends. Though Madison had a hard time getting to know people too and she honestly wouldn’t trust someone besides her (would have been different before Miguel left).

“Well if it is any consolation I consider us friends too. Now with Miguel” her voice changed for a moment when she said his name “being gone. You are the only one I can trust. So it just is a little hard when I lose you too without even losing you.” Part of her was still a little girl. She hasn’t had as many experiences as most people. She has been taught to be an adult and trained to be one but without the experiences you can tell that it is still hard on her.

Now they needed to find the chef but Madison realized something. Her attire wasn’t exactly wedding appropriate. So she would have to get changed and doing that before they met the chef would be a good idea.

Posing slightly with her gun Madison replied “I don’t think Neko would be doing that with me around. He knows I would probably shoot him if he did that.” Though she could honestly see it too. Luckily Neko was afraid of Madison as she wasn’t afraid of hurting the cat.

“I will be right back though. I am going to change real quick. I think my outfit would be in bad taste for a wedding.” As Madison grabbed an outfit from a chest that was laying around. They were probably for workers who needed an outfit like her.

“If you would like you can meet with the Chef and I will catch up or maybe checking out the area so we can better tackle whatever the chef may give us.” Hoping that this would not deter Natora but it was something that might be a good idea. She did not want to create a bad reputation for them before they even got to start.

At least both of them thought of each other as friends at this point, even though it was still a bit questionable as to how good of friends they were to one another. It was only a matter of time before they got close with one another, right? Right. Or so she had hoped. It wasn't like Natora was planning on going out and getting new friends just because Miguel had up and left her. But regardless, that was for a different time. Or at the very least it was for a different mind set.

Madison had wanted to go and change. Looking back at her clothes, the blue haired girl agreed with her friend. Wearing black to a party like this wasn't exactly the best idea in the world. Thinking back on it, maybe Natora should have thought about wearing something other than her white dress. Wasn't a bride meant to be the only one to wear white? Oh well. Not her problem really. If the bride wanted to get upset about it, then the bride could get upset about it.

"I'll look around for a bit and wait for you. It would be rude to go and see the guy without my partner."

As she watched Madison leave the area, Natora turned her attention to the grounds. She counted three fountains. One large one and two smaller ones. Even from here, she could see people setting up for the event. Tables here and tables there. Table settings matching other table settings. Everything having to be just right. And even an ice sculpture of the bride and groom was being made from a mage who was dealing with ice magic. They had it all. And soon they were going to be married in a fairly pretty place.

Natora really didn't care. As she watched everyone do what they needed to do, her eyes continued to scan the workers. Eventually she had caught a hold of what she assumed to be the chef. I mean, it was kind of hard to dispute the very long white hat he was wearing. And so she watched as he went from place to place giving out orders and getting different feed back on things while waiting for Madison to get back.

Madison was not even going to think or mention Natora’s clothes. Not because she was afraid but more that she just didn’t care. Sure it might make things harder later but that wasn’t really an issue for her. She was just hoping that it would not somehow cause problems for their job or that they would be fired.

It made sense for her to wait but it wasn’t like Madison wasn’t trying to get things done faster. No matter who she was with this was still a job and honestly she could be spending her time better. Hopefully this would help with some funds. Madison hadn’t budgeted well so she was getting low and with the lack of a big job lately.

“Alright I will be back shortly” Madison replied as she headed to get changed into the blue chef coat and black pants. Not even knowing that these coats were usually only warn by chefs but least it was a better color combination and she was the one who could cook so it was better than Natora wearing it.

Getting back as quickly as she could. She could see Natora looking around checking on things. It was definitely a pretty place. Madison hadn’t looked around till now. She wondered why though that mages did these kind of jobs. There was nothing involved that had to do with magic. So why mages? There would be better options but this was going to get them money.

“I am ready. Did you learn anything while I was gone?” She felt like she needed to open the conversation. There was still a lot that was missing between the two and Madison hoped that talking more they could open up.

As the blue haired girl continued to watch, as well as watch the man in question who wanted a bit more help, it seemed as if they were lacking in two departments: One being waiters and waitresses who came around with drinks and little food items, and one being someone to serve the food to the people when dinner came around. Well that was...fun. Then again, that was the entire point of the mission, no? To go and serve the people? Regardless, that was what was going on.

When Madison returned, Natora turned her gaze upon her friend and answered her question. "It seems as if we'll just be serving people food and drinks all night. Nothing too exciting." She moved away from the railing that she was at and brushed herself off. It was time to actually get the mission started. She watched as the man with the large hat walked back and forth from one table to the next before seeming to head back into a room that he came out of. This could only mean that the man was going back to the kitchen where he had people, or even himself, cooking.

"Come on, I have found the person who requested the mission in the first place." She started walking down into the garden area and continued to get a feel for the place. It seemed as if it was enough room for people to roam around here and there. There even was a dessert bar that was going to be set up later. A fountain sat upon the table so that could only mean one or two things: Either it was going to be a chocolate fountain, or a cheese one. Hopefully it was chocolate. Who could say no to chocolate?

Regardless, the two headed into the back where it seemed as if every person who could possibly cook was working back there. And in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the cooking area was the man who asked for help with his rather large hat. She turned to Madison at this point. "It's that guy right there, the one in the big hat."

After saying that, the man in question faced them and turned to them. He seemed to be in a rather pleasant mood as he walked over. "Hello! And why might you two be and what can I do for you?"
