Account Name: KileyBarker Profile Name: Kiley Barker Nickname: N/A Age: 19 Gender: Female Height: 5' 7'' Weight: 152 lbs Guild: N/A Class: D Affiliation: Neutral Appearance Physical Description: Kiley has never been known as a delicate woman. Her body is more designed for manual labor than for dressing in skirts. She has an athletic build, with a wider abdomen making it so her hips aren't as pronounced. She has more bulk than a typical woman too, seeing as she has the muscles of a fighter. Her frame is strong, and her powerful form originates from her legs. Thick like tree trunks, each leg stands as a monument to her training as a boxer. Most people expect boxers to be all arms, not truly understanding where their power comes from. Her abdomen is toned but her build is more for power than definition. She has a bit of fattiness to her that belies her true strength. When flexed her muscles show their full definition, but otherwise look almost unimposing like fleshy walls. Her hair is light brown in color, almost to the point of hiding some red. It has been well baked by the sun over the years and the disparity between the top of her head and where her braid begins is evident when she combs it out. She prefers to keep her hair in a long single braid behind her head that reaches down to the mid of her back. The rest of the hair on her head is left short. Her bangs form an upside down "W" shape on her head as a single lock falls down the middle of her forehead and curls left, infringing on her eye-line. While she takes the time to braid the hair in back she often lets the rest stay in a state of chaos. It gives her a distinct look up close that she rather enjoys. Her eyes are a light blue in shade. They are well rounded in a European fashion. Above her right eye is a long scar, but it stays fairly hidden under her messy bangs. Her nose is long and sharp, but it fits her well. She has a wide mouth with thinner lips than most, but she can usually fix that somewhat with some makeup. Her ears are rather normal and fit her face well; they often find themselves covered by locks of hair framing her face but they poke out from time to time. Her hands are callous from training and her fingers are a bit bony. Her knuckles on her left hand are scarred up. Clothing: Kiley enjoys a plethora of outfits depending upon many-a-factor. Her signature style, though, stays rather consistent. When she knows she'll be doing anything like a mission she always dresses the same. This outfit consists of a loose-fitting white collared shirt with buttons running along the upper half. She usually keeps it unbuttoned to her neckline, but she can make it run lower if needed on a hot day. At worst it reveals only a small bit of cleavage, at best it reveals nothing at all outside of her neck. Over this she dons a long wind-scarred brown cloak-like cape that she keeps fastened in the front; the cape is covered with Arabic looking writing. The cape hangs loose off her shoulders down to her midsection where it is held firmly against her body by a thick cloth "belt". The belt ties in the insides to hide the lacing, making it look like there's no crease at all on it. Her white shirt has a partition at the bottom of the front like an upside down "V", showing the top of her pants. Her pants are a darker shade of brown than her cloak and are baggy at the top but quickly close in around her upper calves; they are covered with large cargo pockets. Her calves are kept exposed unless she pulls up her long socks. She wears brown boots on her feet with crossing ties. Inside her boots she wears long socks folded down. If it's buggy or cold she folds the socks up to cover her lower legs and tucks them into her pant legs. Accessories: Kiley usually carries a sword on her back held by a strap that runs from her left shoulder to her right hip. Normally she doesn't wear hats but she has a few she enjoys wearing from time to time. She particularly likes wide-brimmed sunhats whenever she wears a summer dress. She usually carries a wallet rather than a purse but she's often donned a purse when in regular attire due to lack of pockets. Extra: Kiley's left hand has numerous scars on the knuckles and she has a long scar over her right eye that goes across her forehead. Picture: Kiley Personality Kiley is an open person. She is accepting of others and willing to look past faults for the good parts inside. She tries not to be overly judgmental. Whenever she hears of crimes people have committed her first reaction is to ask: "Why?". She genuinely tries to understand the motives behind others rather than just accept the generic truths of good and evil. This leads her more towards a gray area as far as morality is concerned, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. While Kiley can understand and even forgive past pretenses she, herself, is not a bad person. She doesn't particularly enjoy hurting others or picking fights. She respects life and tries not to ever take the lives of others. She has never met a person who was beyond reconcile, she has never met anyone who's gone past the morality event horizon. In her eyes everyone on the planet is a child of The Creator, what others call The Lord of Light. Though, while she can forgive another's sins, she will still try to stop them if she knows they're doing something vile. While Kiley doesn't seek violence, but she doesn't turn away from it either. If challenged she will fight. If forced she will draw blood. She doesn't enjoy hurting others, but there is a small sense of satisfaction in it. This strange feeling of pleasure has often confused her and made her question her own morals. Even if she can find justification for her actions, she often feels it's hard to find justification for her feelings. This line of thinking often saddens her. Perhaps her biggest fear is not that some monster may one day take her life, but that one day she may become the life taking monster instead. To this day Kiley has never ended another human being's life, nor does she intend to. She has never faced a situation where it was necessary, and she prays to the Lord of Light she never does. Kiley is usually friendly among others. She enjoys meeting people for the first time and finding out things about them. She particularly enjoys knowing what makes a person tick. Often the topic at hand falls to favorite foods, if she can lead it there, and then she can truly shine. Kiley is a bit of a foodaholic and loves collecting recipes whenever possible. She'll risk life and limb to acquire a new baking recipe, and she absolutely loves testing them out. While she's not the greatest chef in the world she can handle herself surprisingly well in the kitchen. Her greatest boon, as a chef, would be that she tries to please everyone. Often if she is feeding a diverse enough group she'll end up trying to make a different meal for everyone and just end up making a mess of everything. Kiley, while not exactly violent, is dedicated to bettering herself and training her body. She finds time, whenever she can, to exercise and practice her martial arts. She takes pride in the skills she has and she takes even more pride in the skills she's learning. She particularly enjoys learning about magic and practicing in it too. Kiley tends to be respectful of those older than her and she always tries to be polite when speaking to those above her. It's a small courtesy to those who have put in the work to surpass her and she honestly feels like they deserve it. The person she holds the highest esteem for in this world, though, is her father. He taught her everything she knows, and she'll be ever thankful to him for that. One day she hopes to make him proud History History Weaponry/Equipment Name: Seed Class: D Description: A straight-bladed sword with a small pommel. The guard extends straight out giving it the look of a small one-handed claymore. Effect/Function: Stabbing, cutting, and poking things. It's a sword. Stats - 45 Strength: 9 Accuracy: 8 Stamina: 9 Speed: 9 Magic: 10 Earned Stat Points Earned: 0/0 Arc Points Earned: 0/0 Jewels Earned: 100,000/100,000 Sources Sources Skills & Disciplines Boxing: High aptitude from daily training. She's got strong foundations and tends to in-fight whenever possible to use her physical abilities to their fullest. Cooking: Due to working in a bakery she tends to be more skilled with pastries and sweets. While she can still cook a decent meal, deserts are her specialties. Beginner Swordsmanship: Due to only being able to train from watching her father practice the forms, she isn't very skilled at all. She's never seen a real sword-fight before, either. She needs a lot of practice. Magic Magic Name: Metal Coat Magic Type: Elemental - Metal Tier of Magic: Tier 2 Rank: 2 Magic Description: Metal Coat magic is a special type of metal manipulation magic. The user is able to coat objects they touch or their own body with metals of varying hardness. The hardness and the amount that can be used to cover things depends on the rank of the techniques used. The metal can eventually, at higher ranks, be molded into different shapes and forms for varying effects. Things like turning one's arm into a massive metal piston by coating it with enough metal become possible, or coating ones fingers in sharp metal blades for clawing. The biggest weakness to this magic is that it must be coated on either the user or an object. They cannot craft things from metal, they can only add on to existing things and it takes time for the metal to mold on the object. This makes it basically impossible to mold opponents in metal unless they hold still for a long period of time. Useful for making handcuffs once a foe's been defeated, though. Techniques: (2)/2 (Woman with the Iron Fists) - (2) Type: Support Range: Self Effect: Kiley coats both of her fists with metal of class D. This takes about half a post to come into effect. This lasts for [2] posts before dissipating and she cannot use it again for [3] posts afterwards. Edited by KileyBarker, Aug 2 2015, 09:02 PM.

Skills & Disciplines -Would be nice if you add details to these Tier of Magic -Ehh... I judge this to be 2 Woman with the Iron Fists -So does this increase your damage? Provide defense? Both? or Perhaps buffs your strength stat? What does this do? |

Tier of magic changed to 2. Small descriptions added. It's sort of just like if she put on a pair of class D gauntlets, I guess, or maybe knuckled dusters would be more exact. It's just a support tech. It doesn't give her much in the order of defense, considering it's only her fists. I listed it's type as support because it's sort of a non-buff buff. There's no stat gain because that doesn't make sense. I guess it'd increase her punches damage for a little bit, if you want to be literal about it, but so wouldn't putting on iron gauntlets or knuckle dusters that she could start with. I don't really know what else you want me to say about it, to be honest, lol. |

It's basically weapon summoning just given a different flavor text. But saying they are D-ranked weapons is plenty good enough for me. By a round do you mean a post? Or a round of posting?Which in my book is when everyone has posted once. Kind of silly to bring that up but sorting out clarity now may solve issues down the line. |

I have edited both to say posting rounds for clarity's sake. And yeah, it's just meant to be a pseudo weapon thing. |

Making it two full rounds of posting is a massive nerf that you do not need to make. I mean if you're in an event you may have to wait for ten posts before you can use it again. You can keep it if you like but it seems like an overly huge and unnecessary nerf to me. |

I don't mind if it's a nerf. I'd rather have my spells too weak instead of too strong anyways. |

Yeah but this is seriously crippling. Even rank one magic is not that weak. |

Uh okay if you insist. What would you recommend for the duration and cooldown then? |

Three posts for cool down and two for duration. Regardless of what you chose...1/2 |
