Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Pink eyes wide, Sett's mouth was agape with wonder as she took in the wonderful sights of Magnolia City. The people of the city seemed to glance towards her and decidedly didn't take too much stock in the fact that two young girls were riding atop of horses along with three wound up and still unconscious villains. Looking over her shoulder towards Desire, she cocked her head towards the people as they passed. What kind of messed up stuff were they used to?

"Where I'm from, there's usually a knight at each corner...." Sett recalled. As a child, she had been very good at avoiding the knights of Chysanthemum, having grown up there she knew a lot about the lay out. But here in Magnolia? She had yet to see any of the knights, nor did she know where to bring in criminals as pranks was about as big as mischief got within the walled city. How hadn't the bright streets fallen into anarchy? Sett shivered at the thought before turning towards her pink haired companion. "Any idea on where we can drop these bozos?" she asked, hitting Carl the duck man with her elbow.

Around her back she could still feel the weight of the odd magical farming tools. They were heavy when carried the way she did, but she found that they weren't all that bad when in use. They were truly the perfect tools for growing your own crops. She needed to figure out where to put them. She couldn't hold onto them forever. Though had Desire asked, Sett would have refused on giving them to her, as she secretly hoped that she was going to absorb their magical potential.

Unlike Sett, Desire wasn't too amazed with the sights of Magnolia. Even though she was riding behind the rainbow-haired girl, Desire could tell that Sett was fascinated by the view. It also seemed that Sett was quite surprised that the people of Magnolia didn't seem too bothered to see the two girls riding on horseback, with three tied up miscreants in tow. Magnolia had most likely seen worse things, from criminal trouble to demon invasions, and Magnolia had resiliently bounced back, even stronger, if one were to say so. Desire knew, because she had been an eyewitness, nay, participant in these events.

Seeing Sett turn to talk to her, Desire spurred her horse so that it would come up alongside Sett. She wasn't too comfortable with horses, but she was grateful for the mount on which she rode. The horse seemed... patient, and for a change, very co-operative. Desire remembered meeting a rather horrid horse, if she could even call it that. At least the one she was riding currently wasn't talking. Even though she had had trouble initially controlling it, Desire was glad to see that the brown mare was now following commands quite amiably. She stifled a laugh, remembering when she'd first climbed the horse, and turned to slap its rump; she'd known that that got horses moving, but she didn't expect the horse to dash off so fast. It wasn't funny then.

"Which is why I love Magnolia," Desire replied, with a happy smile. "It's seen too much of whacked-out things to be so up-and-tight-around-the-pants. Myself being one of the whacked-out things it's seen," the pink-haired girl finished with an embarrassed laugh. She remembered how she met the Fairy Tail mages, and the mercy which they had shown her. It almost made Desire want to join the guild, but her wanderlust was quite great. Still, of all the places Desire had been to, Magnolia felt the most homely.

"I think if we ask for directions, we'll be able to find the office of the sheriff or the local cop-shop, or whatever they call their law enforcement outfits," Desire replied to Sett's last question. She made sure she was in a comfortable and well-balanced position, then stretched. "By the way, Sett, you do know that Fairy Tail has its guildhall in Magnolia, right? I hear from many people that Fairy Tail mages are crazy and difficult to control, but I've met a number of them. They have their hearts in the right place." Desire chuckled. "Maybe that's why the Magnolians aren't so bugged about seeing strange sights, what with having such a crazy guild around."

Desire took a moment to ask a passer-by where the nearest police station was. The directions were simple enough, and while it wasn't a station, it was a police checkpoint close enough. That could serve the same purpose as a station. "I think our bozo-dropping-point is just two streets away," Desire said, catching up to Sett and pointing in the direction of the described street. "Let's go."

It seemed that Desire wasn't as impressed by the lack of interest among the people of Magnolia. In someways, she was glad about this fact. A place where everyone was so lax about the happenings around them piqued quite a but of interest within the young girl. It was definitely a change of pace form hew own home town. As she called her over, she could tell that Desire had ridden a horse before, unlike herself. Sett still felt sore from having fallen off her horse a few times after picking the men up.

Settle was somewhat surprised to hear Desire starting off with such a laugh. The rainbow haired fighter would have to remind herself to hear more about the events that surrounded the pink haired mage within the city.

Nodding at the instructions, Sett realised that she'd have to get used to how others did things while out and about like they were. Rubbing the back of her head she let out an exhausted sigh. The girl needed somewhere to lie down to rest and fast. Before that though, Desire decided to give her some information, information which definitely caught her attention. Swinging her head around, her ponytail falling across her shoulder, a distinct glint flashed within her eyes. A wizard's guild, eh? That could be the answer to my certain magic problem.... she pondered on it for a moment.

"I met someone from Fairy Tail once, a while before I met you. He did seem seem very.... unique," she chuckled to herself. She composed herself as her pink haired accomplice questioned a passerby for where the police held themselves. With a grin, Sett began to guide her horse, following the instructions, the sooner they send these losers to jail, the better. As she rounded the corner though, a dark feeling washed over her.The horse didn't seem to be affected and neither did the knocked out duck suit man. But her eyes wide and her skin somewhat paler, she slowly turned her head to catch a glimpse of a destroyed building before it left her field of vision.

Shaking herself, she slowed as they reached the destination. the police station wasn't big, but it wasn't small either. Two stories tall, sett leaped off of her horse with a grin, stretching, trying to cast out the thoughts of the bizarre building form her mind. "Okay! Let's turn in these losers!"

As the two girls rode along, Desire thought she sensed something, a strange sensation, much like a tingling feeling on her skin that gave her goosebumps. That was all, though. She frowned slightly. What had that been? A premonition? If so, of what? She turned to look at her companion, and noticed that Sett did look a little bit pale, and her eyes were wide, as if she'd just seen a ghost. That explained the chill. Desire's extrasensory perception had detected Sett's fear. But there was most likely something else....

The police station was reached, and the criminals docked without much incident, which was a good thing. Desire was expecting that there would be a lot of questions, and paperwork, and in a worst-case scenario, temporary detention; there were always worst-case scenarios when the law enforcement officials were involved. However, it did seem like luck was on the girls' side, seeing that Bouncy and his gang were a bunch of wanted folk; low-spectrum, but wanted nonetheless. This made the paperwork decisively short, since there was no reason to explain the crime committed, or what had happened at the crime scene, and unless Sett was willing to talk about the magical farm tools, nothing else seemed to be required of the two girls. Desire, for her part, was very grateful to be out of the station. She'd never had any issues with law enforcement before, but perhaps it was a part of her nature, due to the knowledge of the demon she had, whichever the case, she didn't like being around the law folk. She always felt like an inherent rogue.

Having left the vanquished thugs in the custody of the exultant policemen, Desire quickly but calmly made her way out of the house; she didn't want to appear too eager to leave, as that might make the cops suspicious of her, even if she had nothing to hide. "Did I mention I don't like cops?" Desire asked, as Sett would join up with her. "To be honest, I have no idea why, but I just don't feel comfortable around them." A cool breeze rustled the leaves of the trees, moving the locks of the half-demon girl gently, as she turned to fully face Sett. "Back there, on our way to the police station, something came over you, it seemed... you didn't look so good. Are you alright?" She had a look of mild worry on her face.

"These tools don't do much else other than make farming super easy. Not sure why these bozos wanted them so badly, maybe they were trying to open up their own farm!" Settle chuckled aloud to herself in front of the two law officers. Both looked at each other, unsure if they should take down her statement or not. After the moment of silence once Sett's chuckle died down her fall fell, an unamused expression falling over her face. "That's it then?" she asked, frowning.

Her footsteps thundering as she trudged out of the law enforcement office, her arms folded tightly across each other and her back somewhat hunched over. "Not taking me seriously..." she muttered as she walked beside her pink haired friend. She nodded at the mention of disliking the law. "They're not the most helpful of people, are they?" she agreed, nodding away to herself.

Turning to look at Desire, Sett stopped, she knew if they continued along their current path they'd pass by the house once again. Sett gave a slight shiver before uncurling her arms. She wasn't cold, instead she felt as if someone walked over her grave. "I'm not sure, I just feel as if there was something really bad back there...." she tried to explain, trying to shrug off the feeling. She hadn't felt anything like this before.

Shaking her head, she gave each cheek a small apt as if she were trying to wake up. "I'm going to head over there again and see what's the deal, it's probably nothing. Then we can cast this and those losers behind us," she stated, feigning a smirk. "Besides, I need a bite toe eat after this," she patted her stomach to emphasize the point.

Desire gave the rainbow-haired girl a concerned look as the girl mentioned the thought of something awful back where they had passed. "So it wasn't just Sett's fear I felt," Desire thought as she walked away from the station with her new friend, "there really is something back there...." Sett, however, seemed willing to check it out, despite the fact that the matter had some very serious spook factor involved. Desire chuckled, shaking her head. "What's the proverb about curiosity and cats again?" she asked. "Well, truth is, I am so not trying to dissuade you. I personally don't think I could sleep without finding out what's up with the bad vibes coming from that place. But the idea of getting something to eat first is sound."

There was a nice, decent-looking diner close by, which Desire noticed, and thus suggested as the place where they would choose to satiate the agitations of their gastric juices. The place was as good as it looked; the food, though inexpensive, was well-cooked and hygiene was spot-on. Desire had chosen to order a simple bacon sandwich, and its quality was almost shockingly delightful. "There are reasons Magnolia is quickly becoming one of my favorite places in Fiore, and I think this place is one of the newest reasons," Desire said excitedly, though she did take care not to speak with food in her mouth. Appearances were very important, after all.

"We may not want to eat too much, though," she cautioned. "We may yet have some running to do today."

Sett chortled at the quip about curiosity killing the cat. As true as it may have been, Sett was determined to quell any suspicions she had about the burned down building from before. As Desire began to agree that they grab something to eat beforehand, Sett's stomach began to rumble, a hand rushing to it as her other hand in behind her head to rub at it, an embarrassed expression washing over her as her cheeks flushed a red colour.

Her pink haired companion had been the one to locate the diner, sitting down, she took in the pleasant atmosphere. Laying back, her hands lying across the back of her seat as the waitress took her order of an exorbitant amount of salad. As it arrived, she quickly began her feast, shoveling it into her mouth, eating the leaves of lettuce at an absurd pace. Where she put it all and how she had managed to avoid choking on her own meal was beyond anyones comprehension. At the mention of not eating too much, Sett began thumping her chest as she tried to swallow what she had stuffed within her cheeks. She had made sure not to eat with her mouth open, something which was especially difficult given how much was in her mouth. She frowned, she was almost done.

"I think you're worrying too much, Didi," Sett waved her hand in the air in her direction, finishing off the last of her food, giving a satisfied smile within the other girls direction upon completion of her meal. As she took a final sigh after her food, her ears overheard a conversation from another table. Sett cleared her throat as she inched towards the edge of her seat, waving at the two men a length away from her. "Oi, you two! Did you guys just mention that burned down house?"

The two men looked at each other before one of them nodded, looking the two girls up and down and frowned. "Yeah, we were just talking about how there's a rumour floating about that the house may be haunted. Silly, I know, but after all of the demon business, you can never be too careful. Apparently they found the previous owner dead on the ground with the entire place burned around him. Amazing to think it was still standing nearly a month now."

Sett thanked the man before turning back towards Desire, sliding down her seat. "Is it me, or is all of this sounding somewhat..." she leaned in, pushing herself across the table. He pink eyes wide as she started at the pink haired girl in front of her. "Haunting." She let out a quick heh at her joke.

It was almost hilarious to see how Sett chomped down all that salad, and so much of it there was. As it were, Desire would have preferred a meal with meat in it, but she wasn't Sett. And there was the differing view on how much it would be optimal to eat at this time. The pink-haired girl couldn't help but crack a wry smile. The adage was correct; it was each to her own. Sett was right; there was no need for Desire to worry. After all, if someone could stuff herself like that and not choke, well, there was hardly any culinary contraption short of some virulent toxin that could take her out. The Take Over mage, for her part, was not quite sure she wanted to take chances like that, even though it was food concerned.

Desire had heard snatches of the conversation between the two men sitting a little way off, yet while she was quite interested in their discussion, she made no attempt to communicate with them. Sett, however, was more vocal, and made inquiry concerning the whole affair. At least the men were not unwilling to share whatever it was that they knew about the burned house. A dead guy, with his house burned down around him? The whole thing sounded like the result of a criminal activity, not unlike the one the two girls had just docked Bouncy and his friends for; possibly an arson, maybe even a murder. The statement by Sett made Desire realize that there was still food in her mouth, stuffed into her left cheek. Made her feel much like a chipmunk. After getting the food chewed and swallowed, the half-demon girl nodded as she leaned in as well, making their table look like a dramatic, if not slightly comic, scene of mystery and conspiracy.

"Maybe. That could have been the reason for the odd chill I felt when we passed by there. I'm sure you must have felt something too. Do you think there could be a ghost haunting those grounds? While something tells me I should be afraid, I think we really have to find out what's going on there." There was little else to do now, than finish her meal. The funniest thing was that even though Desire had ordered a smaller serving than Sett, the rainbow-haired girl was long done before she swallowed the last mouthfuls of her delicious sandwich. Having finished her meal, Desire rose, placing enough money to pay for the two girls' meals, with a little extra as a tip, on the table they had eaten on, before heading for the door.

"Today seems like it's all about crime solving and mystery cracking, doesn't it?" the half-demon girl asked as the two girls left the diner. "Or maybe we just have a latent talent for tackling such stuff. At any rate, I'm very sure I don't want to be a cop. Wait, is it just me, or are we destined to snoop round fire disasters for the entirety of today?" she concluded with an amused grin.

Contemplating Desire's thoughts on the situation, she held a hand up towards the side of her face, her index finger tapping her round cheek. The possibility of a ghost wasn't something that Sett wouldn't put past this world. Barely within her own exploits of the world she had already encountered cultists, demons and men who were too bouncy to hit. Do ghosts normally exist within Fiore? They sounded too magical to exist within Chrysanthemum. Her eyes locking onto Desire, she gave a shrug. "At this point, I figure that ghosts would be the easiest thing to deal with," she stuck her tongue out in playful manner.

As the two got up, Desire managed to beat her when it came to paying, she didn't have enough money to afford travel, let alone to pay for the two of them. How was Desire being financed, she even left a sizeable tip. Nuh-uh, Sett wasn't about to let someone pay for her own lot in life, so when Desire's back had been turned, Sett slipped an even bigger tip onto the table, which could have payed for her own meal along with a tip of her own. Though that fact passed straight by her, along with the fact that she was now considerably poorer than before.

Rubbing the back of her head, she let out a small sigh. "I doubt I'd mind as much if it means beating the living stuffing out of men dressed up in ducks.... or I guess in this case, the undead stuffing," the rainbow haired girl remarked as she made her way forwards.

By the time they reached the abandoned building, there was next to nobody left looking at the burnt down house. It was once massive, boasting four floors, now the front of it was missing, a large crater looking like a bite came from the front. Sett was able to make out of some of the rooms within the building from where she stood. Surrounding the large and imposing house was a two meter high wall, the gates were made of iron bars. Sett gave it the gate a shake, the very top of it ended in spikes, presumably for dramatic effect as the walls seemed to end in flat tiles. "Suppose the explosion gods do this on purpose? Make such a nasty mess but don't destroy enough so you can't clean it up?"

Whatever fate had in store for the two girls, Desire was most convinced that beating the living stuffing out of duck men was almost always preferred to beating undead stuffing out of anything that legitimately had a reason to be full of undead stuffing, and she voiced her sentiments. "Give me bouncing pyromaniacs or chubby duck men over ghosts any day," came the reply. "I'd always heard that ghosts were intangible, or could disappear or some of such weird stuff. I personally prefer to deal with something, or someone, whose face can respond to a sucker punch in more conventional manners."

That being said, there was apparently no going back now. The two girls stood before what had been a magnificent edifice; even with the destruction, it was easy to tell that the building had been something to look at. Now, it looked like something with a big flaming maw had taken a great chomp out of it. Whatever or whoever had burnt the house had done quite a decent job of it, although the sturdiness of the building, and its composition, left a good deal of it standing. Desire turned to look at her friend as the rainbow-haired girl shook the gate which, if open, would have allowed access into the building.

"Explosion gods?" the pink-haired girl asked, as she turned to look back at the gate, and the large ruin beyond it. "They must really have rotten senses of humor if they actually do, although in this case, I don't know whether to think some old cackling geezers in a volcano playing a whack-job bat-and-ball game were responsible for this." There was a thoughtful silence, before Desire continued, "though if they were indeed responsible, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of their swings." Assuming explosion gods lived in volcanoes or played games at all. Desire knew nothing of gods.

"Do you think we can climb the wall?" she asked Sett, "or should we break something and get in?" Climbing was Desire preferred way of entry, but she couldn't tell whether Sett was as acrobatic as she was. So far, the gate seemed locked, judging by the way the gate rattled, when Sett shook it. All the same, there was always more to most things than met the eye, and it was a bit unlikely that such a place would be locked, seeing there was apparently nothing to steal on the grounds, and for all intents and purposes, this place didn't seem to be a point of interest.

Desire took a careful look at the gate. It seemed locked with a chain used to wrap the two leaves of the gate together, but there didn't seem to be any padlock or other similar device holding the chain in place. After a bit of putting her hands in uncomfortable positions, Desire was able to find one end of the chain, tucked out of the way somewhere within the folds of the chain wrapped round the center bars of the gate. "I don't think it's locked...." A little more struggling, and the chain was in Desire's hand. She pushed the gate, and it swung open with an ominous creak. Cliche.

"You think someone will harass us for trespassing?"
