Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Things were going nicely between the two, which was good; he was happy that she was okay with accompanying him and she was okay with the fruits. He allowed her to pick out her fruits, but when he seen that she was finished with what she wanted, she was quick to pay for it. He was surprised that she had done that, he had offered her the fruits, but at the same time he figured that she didn’t want to burden him. He chuckled a bit because he wasn’t going to fight with her or try to get her upset. He understood her reasoning for doing it, so he let it go. Vlad on the other hand was quick to move his hand into the bag and started to eat some of the fruits. He was enjoying it as of now and he couldn’t help but feel at peace with this in his hand and in his mouth.

Yuurei on the other hand was about to start making his way to the burger joint, but he heard Cleia speak up to him, so he never moved. Instead he looked at her and he heard the name she brought up. He was trying to think if he knew of a Brian in the guild, but it didn’t click honestly. He rubbed the back of his head as he was trying to think harder, but nobody had clicked in his head. He chuckled a bit and smile when she said he was the only one with a big name in the guild that she had met. ”I see understandable, the others are usually busy. Still, I never met Brian, but probably I’ll bump into him one day,” he said as he was walking again. This time it was towards the destination he had started with from the very beginning.

Each movement was a large stride towards his destination, which wasn’t long for him to reach. He made it to the car that sold the food that he wanted and soon enough he had come to a stop. He looked through the window and to a man’s face right now. He smiled at him and he figured he would order before the man got upset. ”Can I get a cheese burger with lettuce, ketchup, and mayonnaise on it. Oh and fries on the side please,” he placed his order and the man had looked at him and nodded as he moved through the car and was starting to cook the man’s meal. While he was waiting he had turned to look at Cleia again with a smile on his face. ”So what kind of things do you like to eat?” he asked her as he was making small talk, but at the same time he felt like the silence that they would have had could have made things more awkward.

Still, nearby there were people walking around the place. These guys were people who had known that Yuurei had gotten stronger than he was before, but still they had worked for a criminal who they couldn’t ignore. They had a duty to fulfill and Yuurei was a problem to their organization. Their boss didn’t enjoy the humiliation that the Dragon Slayer had made him suffered. Making out with his daughter and to have the balls to do in a place where he was usually in. The boss of that syndicate didn’t enjoy that one bit, but at that time there was nothing he could do as the guy had ran away. This was a while ago, but something people like these guys didn’t forget. It wouldn’t take long for these guys to bump heads with Yuurei and Cleia.

Okay, paying for the fruits had gone along nicely. Perhaps it was a bit unethical on her part; after all, the girl was meant to pick, and the guy was meant to pay... that was how things went, right? Well, in Cleia's case, she never wanted it to ever seem like she was leeching off anyone; she knew some females who had abused the 'gentlemanliness' of some guys, and in her opinion, that was disreputable. Maybe some other time, she would let him pay, but she was just getting to know him, so it was too early for that.

Vlad wasted no time in helping himself as the trio made their way to the fast food joint. Once there, Yuurei made his order, and Cleia smiled to herself. Guys usually seemed to have a big appetite, she thought, as she fondly remembered her former family and the rate at which some of them devoured healthy sizes of food. As the man took Yuurei's order and left to fix up his meal, he asked for her food preference. She made a "hmmmm" sound as she pondered on his question for a while, then shrugged slightly.

"I can't really say I like many food types; I'm mostly indifferent to the lot of them. Pastries are okay, but I have to watch my weight if I keep eating those. Then there's chocolate; I guess that holds a special place in my heart. Fruits are really nice, too. Beyond these... oh, I think I like ice-cream. As for others, I don't really mind them... but I know the ones I do not like, and fish and coffee top the list."

Cleia found herself something to sit on, then decided to turn the question back to him, so as to keep the conversation going. "Soooo, what do you like eating? I take it you don't make a habit of eating junk food often, or you've got some really rigorous exercise schedules."

She was totally oblivious of the impending threat.

While he was waiting for his meal to be prepared, he had asked a question, and it seemed like that question as able to make her think about what it is that she enjoyed to eat. He heard what she said as they were on the topic about food now and he could only chuckle a bit on some of the things that she had said. It seemed like she was aware of her weight and she didn’t want to get big or anything like that. It was good to know that she cared about herself and her appearance. Still, she was into a lot of things that were enjoyable to everybody in the world. Still, there something she didn’t like and it was something he didn’t like either. Fish, it wasn’t something that he would put on his list to eat and honestly he didn’t understand why people enjoyed eating something like that.

”Ice-cream and chocolate are delightful, but I have to agree with you with the fish part. I don’t know how people could eat something like that. It’s something I can’t comprehend nor can I stand myself to eat,” he chuckled a bit as he rubbed the back of his head and noticed that Cleia was quick to find herself a seat of her own to sit on. She had done that quietly, but was quick to return the question to him. ”Well I eat a lot of things. I enjoy meat, fruits, or anything that could be made in a huge quantity. Still, anything I eat I make sure it won’t affect me in a way that I will turn into a fat slob,” he said laughing at what he said as a joke. Still, training was something he did all the time, but that was because he knew of the many strong mages in the world.

”I do a rather tough training session, but that is because I try to be on the tiptop shape. There are a lot of strong people in this world that are only getting stronger. I have to do the same thing and make sure that I can only get stronger as well,” he said to her. He was probably one of the strongest mage in Fiore, but he would never allow himself to believe that. He knew if that were the case, then he would only start to slack off. ”Still, at least you look good and you truly do look like you keep your weight in check and its going good for you if I do say so myself,” he smiled at her as he was complimenting her on her looks. Still, there were a bunch of people who had walked through the street that was close to them.

There were about six guys roaming together, but Yuurei didn’t know they were here for him and they weren’t honestly. Still, curiosity kicked him, which made him look at the six of them and they looked at him back. He smile at them and then looked back to Cleia because he didn’t know them and figured he would keep his conversation with her. ”Do you have a place in Magnolia or somewhere close to the city? I assume you don’t spend your money living in an Inn right?” he asked as his food was almost done right now. The men that were there were talking amongst each other right now. They didn’t move though as they looked over to Yuurei and sighed because they were going to have to take care of this guy.

The group had started making their moves towards the two that were together right now as they knew what they had to do and hopefully it would be alright. When they got to Cleia and Yuurei they had stopped and looked at Yuurei and then to Cleia, but then back at the Dragon Slayer. ”You are Yuurei right? The boss has had a bounty on your head for god knows how long. I’m surprised to even bump into you. Still, we should bring you in as the boss would be happy to see you in his custody, so he could decide what to do next,” he said to him. Yuurei looked up to the six guys as they were staring at him wondering what he would say. ”I’m sure your boss is angry with something I did in the past, but can you just let it slip by that you saw me? I don’t want to be physical if I can help it, so can we just ignore the situation and move along,” he said to them with a smile on his face.

It would seem that Yuurei shared her dislike for fish. And like she had surmised, Yuurei did have a large appetite. He mentioned that he did have a tough training session, and that brought up the question of what it was exactly that he did, to train. People had various types of training methods, and Cleia had been considering finding a technique that might help her physical strength, which was rather wanting. She was going to ask Yuurei what exercises he involved himself in, when he praised her figure. Cleia was actually surprised, because almost all the time, if anyone was going to say anything about her figure, it would be, "she's short," or "little girl," or some other such annoying remark.

As it wasn't common for her to receive such, Cleia (to her horror) felt the color rising to her cheeks. She clasped her hands on either sides of her face and tried not to look Yuurei in the eye.

"Um... thanks, I guess," she replied demurely, her gaze on her knees. In a short matter of time, she tried looking at him, because if she kept her gaze averted for too long, he would easily tell she was blushing. As she raised her eyes, however, she noticed that about six men were standing close to where the two of them were sitting, and they didn't look too benevolent. She said nothing, just listened to what they had to say. From their statements, they were after Yuurei, because of some business he had had with their boss. She didn't know what that might have been, but obviously, the boss, whoever he was, wasn't keen on forgiving. Yuurei tried to handle it in his easy going way, though there was a veiled threat in his words.

Cleia had a hunch, though, that these men were not about to 'ignore the situation and move along'...

The men that were around them had heard his words and they had looked at each other because it seemed like he was threatening them. They didn’t like the way he said those words, but they knew that he was truly strong, but still stupidity usually the mind of the people who knew the answer to their situation. After they mumbled things to each other they looked at Yuurei and then Cleia as well. They could only smile at the situation, but nothing was said for the time being. Vlad on the other hand looked at these guys and continued to eat his fruits without a care in the world. ”These guys are truly pitiful. They want to get beat up it seems,” he thought to himself. ”Maybe we can work a deal,” he said. He looked over to Cleia and then back to the Dragon Slayer as he wondered how things would go.

”So you want us to just forget that we saw you right? Then, how about you allow us to take this girl with us and have a little fun with her?” he asked and Yuurei rubbed the back of his head because he didn’t like where this was going. He could only shake his head though because these guys were truly getting on his nerves. ”Nah I can’t do that. She is with me and I don’t like sharing. Still, you guys should get going thought before I change my mind and do something that will have you crawling to your boss,” he said a tad bit annoyed. They looked at him as they didn’t like that tone of voice, but couldn’t help to laugh at him. ”You don’t need to act like you never passed a woman around to one of your friends before now,” he said to Yuurei.

The Dragon Slayer’s hand twitched a bit as he wasn’t going to speak anymore. He walked over to the man who had gotten close to Cleia and was quick to connect a punch straight into the man’s face. He had stumbled back as he was quick to grasp his nose and scream and grunt from the blow. He looked at Yuurei and when he pulled his hands from his nose, he could see that he was bleeding. ”What the hell man! You going to regret that! Get this fool!” the man shouted as four of them had surrounded Yuurei now. The man who was holding his nose and another one of his friends had made their way to Cleia as it seemed like they were going to try and grab her and take the girl away from here. The Dragon Slayer knew she could probably take care of herself, but he didn’t want to stress her with his problems.

”That’s not a good idea,” he warned them as the tails on his lower back started to come out now. Yes he was dead serious about the situation at hand. Still, they didn’t seem to care about that. The men surrounding him took out blades as they began to play around with it as it spun around in their hand and at the end they were able to grab the handle without a problem. He figured they were trying to intimidate him, but that wouldn’t work. They rushed over to him and he had dodged the first thrust of a weapon heading his way. He had slapped his hand down and was quick to rise up his arm up and elbow the man on his jaw. A simple hit, yet you could hear the pop from his jaw being dislocated.

The Dragon Slayer looked at the others as they seemed like they didn’t care who he was. Yuurei had watched them as they were moving faster and attacking more than just watching. This brought him to blocking and redirecting their strikes more than anything. Still, it was simple and he looked over to see if Cleia was okay. If he touched her, then he would simply end this quickly and make sure that man would regret working for the dark side.

Cleia had wanted to stay quiet and sit this one out, with the hope that these roughs might come to a peaceful consensus with Yuurei and go their way. Yeah, she could be that trusting, sometimes. Fact is, in cases such as the one Yuurei and herself were in, the ruffians almost always chose the worst possibilities to enact.

One of them decided to become provocative, and Cleia started getting offended. So, they wanted to take the girl with them and have fun with her, did they? Like she was some property and had no say at all in the matter? Then again, they probably thought that she was harmless and would be unable to do anything in the way of fending them off. Still, she kept her peace, but she was getting increasingly desirous to hurt any one of them that laid a finger on her.

The roughs didn't seem to take anything seriously, until Yuurei acted and punched their chief speaker in the nose. Cleia, who had a little training in unarmed combat, was impressed at the speed with which Yuurei executed the blow. Not unexpectedly, the roughs went into battle mode, and while four went to engage Yuurei, the other two went over to Cleia. Looked like they would try to kidnap her. And they probably expected she would let them.

Cleia was mostly pacifistic, but that didn't mean she was scared of a fight. She would remain calm and seemingly unfazed, until one of them would touch her. Truth was, whether he grabbed and yanked her to her feet, or he just placed a hand on her, it didn't matter anyhow. For as he initiated contact with her, she would rise to her feet, grab the stool which was under her (which was wooden, thankfully), and with a 360 degree spin, smash it against his head and shoulders.

The human body is delicate, but it is also quite durable to an extent. The stool would shatter against him, sufficient to knock him to the ground, and maybe even knock him out. She faced her assailants, arms by her sides, her face placid, though her eyes were smoldering with irritation and ire. If the rough she had stool-whipped still rose to his feet, she was willing to use her magic against them, unrestrained.

Of course, she wouldn't try to kill them, but they were in danger of some grievous bodily harm... unless they too, were mages. Then, it would become quite an interesting pinch. For now, all she had to worry about were knives.

The Dragon Slayer was dodging the attacks of the men who were attacking him, but at the same time he had noticed that they were going after Cleia indeed. This in a sense had angered him inside, but she was able to take care of herself. He noticed that she was quick to stand up when she had been touched and he was surprised that she had taken the stool that she was sitting on and smack one of the ruffians in the head with it. The strength she hit him with, showed him that she didn’t need his protection, which was good and he watch the man fall to the ground. Still, looking at this brought a knife to aim straight to his chest. When he seen this happening, he looked at the man and brought his hand to block the attack from happening.

The knife had pierced Yuurei, but not that deep as one might have though. It was because of how strong he was that he stopped it from going any further. He could still feel the sting as he looked at the man and then another man had brought their knife towards Yuurei. He shook his head as he brought six of his tails together and slapped the man with all four of his tails at the same time. This had connected with the man and it had sent him flying across the field and towards a nearby building. He had crashed into it, which brought Yuurei to crack his neck and looked at the man that had tried to stab him earlier. The man with the slightly broken jaw wasn’t on his knees trying to calm the pain, but it wasn’t working. On the other hand the fourth man had stopped attacking while the man who stabbed Yuurei’s hand was trying to force it to go through.

”Not going to work, but let me show you why I told you to leave,” he said cracked his knuckles and raised his hand up into the air. He brought the stabbed hand back as it brought the man towards him. When he got closer the arm of the Dragon slayer had been brought back down and he elbowed the guy straight on his skull, which brought him straight onto the ground. He looked at him and shook his head. There was one more left and Yuurei looked at him. ”You can try to run, but I doubt you can,” he said as he pulled the knife that was in his hand out and his right hand started to glow as it was healing his left hand like if nothing ever happened. The Dragon Slayer stood there as the man had started running away.

He shrugged his shoulders as Vlad had jumped off his master’s shoulder and straight towards the man. The monkey was quick to wrap his tail the man’s neck and slam him into the ground with the sheer power of his tail. The man was taken out by this attack and Yuurei looked over to the man with the dislocated jaw with a smile on his face. ”When you see your boss you should tell him this, one he should stop trying to capture me, and two if he wants me so badly he needs to higher stronger people than you lots,” he said with a smile on his face. The man was nervous to see that even a monkey could be so strong. There was one guy left and it was the man who had the bloody nose.

He didn’t look happen as he took out a knife and ran straight towards Cleia. He was sure that she could take care of herself, but that wasn’t the point. She was being attacked because she was around him, so he figured taking care of it would be for the best. The tails he had extended faster than the man could move as they had pierced the hand that he was using to hold the knife. The man shouted as he dropped the knife and looked at Yuurei. ”You are messing with the wrong woman man. Just leave already,” he said as the tails shrunk back to their original size. The man had a broken nose, and some deep cuts now. He looked at the other guys and started running away. The man with the broken jaw grabbed some of his friends and ran away as well.

It didn’t take long for Vlad to run back to Yuurei’s side and for the dragon slayer to stand up straight as his tails had disappeared. He looked over to Cleia with a frustrated look on his face. ”Sorry about that Cleia. This is something I’m use to around the city. I mean it hasn’t happened for a while, but it seems like they had perfect timing and bumped heads with me. If you want we can continue to hang out unless you got something else to do,” he said as he figured this kind of ruined the mood, but he wasn’t sure how she felt. It was kind of annoying that these guys just didn’t drop their hatred for him. ”Don’t you just wish you could take out their entire organization,” he said to Yuurei, which wasn’t a bad idea, but not something he wanted to do.

One idiot down, one more bleeding idiot to go. Cleia watched the one she had smacked with the stool for a moment to make sure he had been knocked out, then turned to look at the other. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see movement towards Yuurei. Oh wait, he was glowing. And he seemed to have tails or something. So, that was how Light Dragon Slayer magic looked. The one that currently attacked Yuurei struck with his knife, which actually hit him in the hand, but the knife refused to go further.

Another thug came in, but Yuurei's tails moved of their own accord and gave him a slapping of their own. The force was more than enough to send him flying to another building. Her eyes widened slightly as she watched Yuurei pull the knife out of his hand, which began to heal on its own. This was new. She'd never thought light could actually heal injuries and stuff, but this was magic that was involved, so almost anything could happen. The rough who had stabbed Yuurei's hand got an elbow to the face, which instantly concluded his own part in this scuffle. And that left two more goons: the one that had just watched his comrades eat pavement, and Cleia's second babysitter.

He decided wisely, albeit belatedly, to run, but Vlad was already on his case. It was very surprising to see such a small creature demonstrate such physical strength, though Cleia was not too shocked, as she never underestimated anyone (since she herself got underestimated often, due to her size). That one was taken out promptly, leaving the last one, who for all intents and purposes, did not show himself to be prudent.

Outnumbered and outgunned, he decided to attack Cleia, with, of course, a knife. A hand had already slipped behind her back, runes gathering themselves unseen, so as to form a sphere. It was not yet compact, but would rapidly do so, and then she would blast him away from her at point blank range. That would teach him to be more sensible, and gentlemanly. However, that never happened. A streak of golden light disarmed him and left him with a painful cut, in a short, sudden period of time.

As was expected of minions, they decided this was the best time for them to run away with their tails between their legs. Cleia watched them take off with a scoff, then turned and surveyed the scene. There wasn't really any serious damage caused around that she could see, save the stool that she had broken. She fished in her pockets and paid the fast food vendor for the broken furniture, then turned and smiled in response to Yuurei's frustrated apology.

"Heh. Never a dull moment with Mr. Yuurei, huh? You don't need to apologize; someone told me that a tough guy has many enemies. I'm okay with that, so long as I don't get people creeping into my window at night to abduct me."

She would leave the choice of what to do next to Yuurei. He was the one who wanted a meal, after all.

The bad things that had happened around him happened so fast. It was a done deal though, yet it seemed like his food had taken forever to be cooked. When he looked at Cleia it seemed like she was paying for the damages that she had created when she smack the guy with the stool. He could only chuckle when he seen this because it seemed like she was a polite person indeed, which was good to be honest. Still, he didn’t say anything as he looked at the man and it seemed like his food was on the counter right now. He nodded at the man as it seemed like he was okay with her giving him the money to repair the stool and that was it. That was good to know and when he was about to make his way towards his food, he never did quite actually move.

That was only because Cleia had started speaking to him and he could only smile at her words because they were wise and truthful words. ”I guess you are right about that. I do have a few too many enemies, but I guess at the end of the day, if I keep those around me safe that is what counts at the end of the day,” he said to her. He walked over to the truck that was selling and making food and he grabbed onto his meal without a moment of hesitation. He looked at the burger that he had order and was quick to take on a huge bite. He could tear into it as he could start chewing and moaned from how good and enjoyable this was. He chewed quickly, but carefully not to bite his tongue and soon after he swallowed the first bit of his food.

”This is really good. I can’t believe that this can truly hit the spot anytime I want,” he said crediting the man for his creation. ”So what are you planning on doing now boss? You going to take out the syndicates that stand in your way in Magnolia, or ignore them like you usually do until it bites you in the ass?” he asked him wondering what he was going to do. Yuurei could only chuckle at the choice of words that Vlad had to bring to him. Still, there was no point in putting him into a situation where he didn’t need to be. ”I think today is not a day for me to do something like that. It’s a good day and I think we should go to the park and sit under the cherry blossom tree that is there. I haven’t sat under that tree in a long time,” he said answering Vlad’s question.

The monkey only sighed when he heard that they weren’t going to take out the group, but he was okay with Yuurei’s orders and decision. The Dragon slayer looked at Cleia as he wondered if she wanted to do that as well. ”You want to come along with us? I mean you don’t have to it’s up to you,” he said to her with a smile on his face. He looked over to his food now as he took some of his fries and started eat some of it before he attacked the burger again. After he did that he looked over to Cleia, chewing on his food and waiting to see if she was going to come along.

It was good to see that the owner of the fast food joint was civil enough not to complain or make any extra trouble, before Cleia had paid for damages; he could, since this was his shop and the scuffle could have chased away some customers. Or maybe he was used to this kind of event happening every now and then. Yuurei made a point, which was very true. Power was very important, not only for those dark mages that desired total world subjugation, but also for the ones who wanted to protect those dear to them.

Yuurei's burger was ready at this point, and he scarfed his meal hungrily. Cleia drew another stool and sat down, only occasionally glancing at him, since it was rude to stare at people (in her opinion). Vlad seemed up for tracking down the goons and busting their operations once and for all. It was a pragmatic way of thinking, but sometimes, she felt it came too close to the fine line that divided the two sides of morality. It was up to Yuurei to make that decision, and he wasn't interested at the moment.

Magnolia Park was where he wanted to go next; it seemed that he was interested in only rest and relaxation today. That was good, because everyone needed to take a break once in a while. He asked Cleia if she was interested in joining them, once again. Today was a nice, lazy day, and there wasn't anything that required immediate attention.

"Well... I'm okay with that. I think you should finish your meal first, though. And, don't rush it; it's not good for digestion."

She would have told him to chew his food well, too, but she didn't want to start sounding like his mom or something. It wasn't like she had any issues with his eating habits, anyway.
