Oshibana Town. A place that was decent enough to visit but not the sort of place you wanted to live. It was a place once known as the home of the guild Eisenwald, one of the many mage guilds that littered the land of Fiore. However, it was one that had turned its back to legal activities and was punished as such, now disbanded and many of its members rotting away in prison. Even though the guild itself was gone, the town still seemed to possess its spirit. Just wasn't the best place to stay considering its railway connections to the wild lands. Well, Lee hoped he wouldn't have to remain there for long. He hoped that this business would conclude quickly. What business was that anyways? Work that he, himself, was not that eager to do. Sent out by Cortez, Lee had taken a train to arrive into town to complete the job given to him by the old retired Knight. He and Cortez argued over this, Lee expressing his distaste with the circumstances of this job, not wanting to do it. The elder managed to convince him, bribed was more like it, and now here he was. The town seemed to be having some problems with a rogue gang of Mages causing trouble in town. Arson, defacing property, and now assaults on citizens of the town. Their crimes were getting worse as they felt that they were unstoppable. There most recent crime was the burning down of one of the town shops, with the owner inside. Lee expressed that he felt he was not ready for this job, that there were others much more prepared than he was. He didn't feel ready to take on Mages, especially the kind that had no problem with attacking people. As well as the fact that there was a chance Lee could end up working with Guild Mages. No doubt some of the guilds in the land had received this same job, and that meant that there own mages would be sent to deal with the menace. This, of course, made Lee even more apprehensive over the job. His distrust for mages made it difficult to work with them. Sure, he understood that many practices of magic were good hearted, working to improve the lives of others, but they wielded great power. With great power came great responsibility. And great temptation. Many mages fell for this temptation and became antagonistic to peace. But...good or bad a mage was a mage. And Lee had his own personal problems with mages. Sure, he could sort of get along with them, and sort of work with them (he had before, after all) but there was a line. So here he was, facing the now smoldering remains of the shop that had been burnt down by the rampaging Dark Mages. Those dark gray eyes of his locked themselves down onto the charred remains, studying them for any clues of any sort. He wasn't having much luck, but then again his head wasn't really in the game at the moment. Adorned in his typical leather armor, with his shield strapped to his back, and his signature lucerne at his hip, he looked more like a mercenary than a soon-to-be Knight. But, he did carry with him the air of a sworn protector...even if only for the paychecks. He stood by himself as he looked at the ruined lot, wondering what it was that could have prompted both arson and homicide. Revenge? Shits and giggles? He hoped it wasn't the last one. But, he waited here for another reason. He had been told to wait here for the mages he was "supposed" to work with. Sure, he could turn them down himself if he wanted to but it would be rude to just not show up. If Lee found this job too high risk then he would abandon it. If Cortez abandoned him as a result then Lee would just enter the Knights the long way; the proper registration route. So, with a sigh he waited, lowering his gaze before closing his eyes. Damn he was tired. He didn't get much sleep on the train ride, having been kept awake by a screaming child behind him having a fit over...something. He wasn't sure. All he remembered was keeping himself from jumping down the mothers throat. |

Jason crouched down in the ash. Fucking criminals. Jason had to leave his bar just so he could come up here and put a stop to this shit. Recently a string of murders and crimes have plagued Oshibana town, and apparently the local officials couldn't handle it themselves, so they called in guild help. Typical. Jason ran his finger through the dust, then looked at it. Jason couldn't feel magical residue, but then again that wasn't his field of expertise. If Jason had to make a guess as to what caused the fire and where it was magic, and they had started with the person inside. Jason grunted, displeased with the fact that he had to come up here and fix somebody else's mess. He'd much rather be making out with Razia or hanging with Jaxus, but nooooo. Because he was so damn active in the Inquisition people knew just how capable he was, and so here he was. Jason cursed under his breath, sometimes he hated the way he tried to be a good person. Jason stood up, there was nothing he would find that hadn't been found already, but it was worth a shot. Jason looked over at the newcomer, probably another mage who had been sent by his respective guild. Jason could see the scowl on the man's face, looks like he was also sent against his will. "You just gonna stand there or you gonna make yourself useful? I take it you're here because of the murder right?" Jason spoke rather harshly. But he was trying to express himself better, trying to be less reserved. "Any way. Get over here and check this out, tell me what you think about this shit" Jason said, lanning to cast his spell on the man so he could see what's beneath the surface. "I'ma cast a spell on you, it's nothing extreme, you'll just see things a little.... differently" Jason said, trying to sound reassuring. He whispered something under his breath and his eyes began to glow like flash lights, the spell would also take effect on the other man, if he allowed it to. Jason looked around, he could see the different layers of ash, which ones were older and which were younger. Hopefully he would find something the knights hadn't. |

The blonde wizard was now on her way to the burnt shop of Oshibana. Dressed in a pink spaghetti strapped satin top and lilac tutu skirt several inches above her knee, every eyes were on her. What made her lool very interesting was the pair of hot pink combat boots that she was wearing. Anyone trying to match formal clothings with combat clothings would end up in a mess. But Reggie pulled it off, creating a balance in the totality of her look. And besides, it's not her business if she impressed the fashion columnist within the town. She was here to deal with the rogue wizards that caused trouble in the town. Reggie thought she would really make a scene if she would fight those wizards in the open, as people would be watching her as if it was some kind of action movie. Even without combat, it felt like she was actually being watched from the sides as she made her way towards the burnt shop. It couldn't be helped. She's Miss Fiore after all. The people were now gossiping on the sides as she walked passed them. "It's her! Regina!" One local said. "Maybe Mistress Mai sent her personally. After all, her guild master doesn't like any of these stuff happening in our town." Another local said. "She's pretty! I wonder where she brought that skirt!" A local teenage girl said which made Reggie sighed. There goes the fashion critique even though she's on a mission. As she reached the end of a block, several men stood around her. That's fast. Reggie thought as she studied them. They were all dressed normally, except that they had uniform tattoos in some part of their body. Wizards. But Reggie didn't recognize the symbol. It doesn't exist in the league of guilds. "About time a pretty wizard showed up. You would be a lovely prisoner. Imagine what we can do to her." The man in front of her said in delight. He was actually good-lookin except for the nasty look in his eyes. He had a red hair that was long enough to be tied into a ponytail. Reggie then took out her keys as she prepared for to fight them. Some seemed to be scared as they saw the keys. "Could it be?" One wizard said as he seemed to recognize Reggie. "Miss Fiore?" Another one guessed. But before even one of them can charge, Reggie singled out a key. "Gate of the Lion, I open thee!" She chanted as light gathered on the tip of the key. Leo appeared in front of her which seemed to scare some of the wizards even more. "It's really her! Regina Mckenzie! The celestial spirit wizard!" One yelled. "You forgot Miss Fiore!" Reggie said as she summoned her celestial baton on her free hand. Edited by Enchantress, May 25 2015, 10:30 PM.
