Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Belladona was something of an oddity to Tveda. After all she was a bit more....used to less pleasant settings. But even so she supposed it wasn't all bad. As she entered the city with her catch of fish it didn't take long for her to realize that the place was a little more.....high brow, than she was used to. Even with her shawl covering her up, she still got a few strange looks. It was not too strange, but she did seem to draw more attention than she did when she was outside the city. Maybe the lack of monsters and other strange things left them a little less prepared for a girl of her....complexion.

She simply smiled and continued walking, and those that had stopped to look simply kept on working. At least she'd had the mind to wear a hood. The less the people saw the better she supposed. In any case she made her way to one of the more secluded Inns, immediately beelining for the roof to a room with a balcony with which to survey the place. It was certainly nicer than usual (though for the price she should hope so), and she even had a pleasant breeze, carrying with it an unusually pleasant smell. Which was giving her a headache.

Even so she couldn't help but smile, resting her elbows upon the railings as she looked about for someplace interesting. After all, no point in coming to the city if she wasn't going to do something with her time. Looking at the jewels she'd made with her fish she sighed a little. Not as much as she'd hoped, but certainly more than if she'd sold them where the fish were found locally. She might be able to get herself something nifty if she looked around. Right? And if she was lucky she might even catch wind of a job to take care of. Chances were the guilds would be on it, one of the reasons she usually stayed away from cities: Guilds hogged all the miscellaneous work. But it never hurt to try.

What's The Point

Pleasant was the city of Belladonna on this temperate Friday afternoon; a sense of lightheartedness permeated the atmosphere, likely from the multitudes of teenagers and young adults that visited the city weekly getting ready for the weekend in one of the most beautiful cities in Fiore. It had been quite a peaceful day indeed, with few jobs to do, even for guilds; all in all, the citizens of Belladonna had been quite enjoying their Friday.

Same went for a certain 12-year-old girl who was currently seated against a wall on one of the less busy sidewalks (conveniently in the view of a certain tall girl's balcony), speaking with her stuffed animal as she typically did. Cynthia had done quite a bit of movement today, having wandered the streets of Belladonna, admiring everything, for perhaps four hours now (the child seemed to have a certain wandering quota that she filled every time she visited a new city), and was rather tired at this point, naturally. So, she found a comfortable place to sit, as she usually did, and proceeded to talk to Bugsy for quite a long time (one would be amazed at how long the girl could hold a conversation when she was interested in having one). Oftentimes, she'd allow her mind to drift off to the Dreamscape, and she'd say "Hi" to its inhabitants, before returning to reality and proceeding with the (supposed) exchange.

In this particular instance, Cynthia was having a rather fine time (supposedly) speaking with Bugsy about his (supposed) neighbor Betsy. See, Betsy was (supposedly) an Ent who was (supposedly) on rather good terms with Bugsy. She lived with her (supposed) friend Jon, with whom she had (supposedly) lived with since her (supposed) birth. Supposedly.

Tveda was somewhat surprised to find that she found a child. Well...not that she had anything against children. ......Or did she? Now that she thought about it, she did tend to avoid kids. They were terribly perceptive and uninhibited little things and given she looked fairly corpsey, and these days kids were more familiar with dead bodies than they aught to, she had a habit of triggering the little ones if they had had particularly bad experiences with dead bodies. Which most experiences with such things did tend to be.

As such kids were often a bit....annoying, pointy, cry-y, and well, generally unpleasant. She blinked. Goodness she really DID have a problem with kids. She frowned, a little disappointed in herself, or more her situation she supposed. She stroked her chin a little. Maybe she could start wearing thin bandages over her eyes or something. It would narrow her field of vision a little, if she left a thin strip or something. It would certainly make them a bit more comfortable. Albeit a bit inconvenient for her she supposed. And here was a child to test the little practice on.

Rummaging around her bag, she found bandages easily enough, locking her door so that nobody walked in on her, and then went about positioning the wrap around her head. At first it took a moment to adjust the spacing of the bands so that she could see without her eyes being super exposed. In the end she wound up putting a bit thicker than she had intended, if only to keep it secure, but she was pleased with the results. She could....see reasonably. It wasn't like she'd be fighting like this after all, and with that she put away her things, taking only fishsticker with her (she never really went anywhere without her shank) and headed downstairs.

Of course, as luck would have it, she did run into someone ,and they moved aside, actually apologizing. Oh, they thought she was blind. She heard a murmuring of 'poor thing' behind her and she furrowed her brows. Well it was better than fear or confusion. She ......supposed. In any case it didn't take long to find her way around the building, and finally upon Cynthia's location. And it was at this point that she realized the little girl was talking to herself. Or rather, her doll. She paused, staring straight ahead for a moment as she listened to the conversation for a moment before speaking up.
"Hello there." She started simply, looking to the girl, though as her eyes partook in the shifting to focus, it would appear to the girl that she was only looking in her general direction. Goodness this little setup really did make her seem blind.

Belladonna was a beautiful place and what that he had never been to. It was interesting that he had never set foot in this place, but he had been close to it. There was a time had to take a job that was nearby and he was able to complete it without a problem. Still, he was now able to set his foot in this place and it wasn’t because he had something to do here. No, he didn’t have anything to do and he couldn’t go back to Magnolia right away. He needed to buy time until he returned back home. There were people who were following him, but he had long lost them. He could tell because of his nose, which was perfect for tracking. The people in Belladonna though look peaceful and seemed to have enjoyed their life here.

That was perfect because for some reason it had reminded him of Magnolia, which allowed him to be at peace. He had walked through the streets of the city with his headphones over his ears. He was ignoring the noises that were being made now. He just moved through the city, but figured that it wouldn’t get him anywhere. Instead, he figured that e would do something else. He had made his way into an alleyway, which nobody was in. He looked around and rushed his way towards a wall and ran up on it as he got far enough and kicked off the wall. He grabbed onto one of the poles that he had saw and was able to lift himself up.

Yuurei had gotten himself up to one of the many roofs in Belladonna. He smiled as he was standing up proudly looking at the beautiful scenery. There were a lot of people here and it was surely beautiful. Still, he didn’t know what to do for the time being. The young man had moved through the roof of the building he was on and now he had lunged onto another roof top. He had looked around here and figured this was a good spot to space out and do nothing for the time being. It didn’t take long for Yuurei to sit down as he was looking at the people who were below him. There weren’t as many people at the area he was looking in. He did, however, noticed that there was a little girl by herself.

She was talking to herself at first in his eyes, but then he noticed that she was talking to her stuff animal. It looked raggedy and was probably older than she was. Still, she reminded him of Kitania and how she spoke to her stuff animal. It was interesting how young girls had done this. He kept his attention to the young little girl as he was wondering what kind of conversation she was having with her friend. It didn’t take long for another person to appear here. He noticed the bandages the person was wearing; he found it weird, but he didn’t say or do anything. He figured the young little knew this person, but made sure that he would step in and stop anything from happening.

”Weird people all around Fiore, but I can’t talk. I’m on a roof acting like I’m a hero. Should I introduce myself, or should I wait and see if the little girl is safe?” he asked himself as he figured he would stay and then decide what he would do next.

What's The Point

"...Trees, but I suppose she could come here for a little widdle bit, if-" Cynthia's rather vague conversation with Bugsy was brought to an abrupt halt by the sudden interruption of a cyan-eyed, pale girl. She was...rather tall. "Like Betsy!" The little girl thought out loud, a finger pointed at the unfamiliar female. "But Betsy's more green than you. And less...human-y than you. She's made of...woody things, like, um, wood!" The child continued on her rambling tangent, looking up at the newcomer as if she expected her to understand a word she was saying.

Cynthia did not seem to be perturbed by the tall girl's appearance, nor confused by the bandages around her eyes. She didn't question it, she just sorta accepted it. After all, being herself, she was not one to be easily surprised by unusual things. For example, one might elect to tape one's own mouth shut, and observe as Cynthia carries an hour-long conversation about giant shrimp in which one's own side of the conversation has been completely fabricated by Cynthia herself. It was a rather strange state of mind, but it assured that the girl would almost never be bored unless she herself elected to be bored.

The little girl took a moment to observe the other female. As was made rather clear, she was quite tall and had rather sparkly (that was the only adjective the child knew of to describe them) ice-blue eyes. Her skin was practically as pale as Cynthia's, and she was practically as thin. There was something...off about her, something even Cynthia (as creative as she was whilst attempting to explain such feelings to herself) couldn't pinpoint.

"Hmm...yeah, Bugsy, I don't think that's Betsy. Too...un-Betsy-like."

Apparently the girl had better eyesight than she suspected, as apparently even with the bandages covering her eyes, the girl could see them. She paused, taking a moment to watch as the girl proceeded to talk to bugys about her as opposed to actually replying to her. Well she supposed she could hardly be upset, it wasn't as if the girl seemed to be anything but a little divorced from reality. And well, it was as much as she could expect from a kid. Goodness she did so feel very unfond of them. In any case as the one-sided conversation continued before her eyes she could not help but feel a bit out of place standing there as she was compared to someone named Betsy. Reaching up she pulled those bandages off and simply watched the girl, at a bit of a loss as to what exactly to do now. It was, really, quite clear that the girl was not at all invested in actual physical conversation and that at the moment at least she was far more interested in continuing her conversation with Bugsy.

And truly? What was she going to do? Take the animal away from her so they could talk? Hardly, as stunningly heroic and citizenlike it would be to rip a child's doll away from them, she hardly felt it something worth doing, and even more so she began to wonder more and more if she should even still be standing here. She did look quite the fool standing there watching to the little one talk to herself. But of course there was also the other side of the conundrum. The girl was all alone, with a ratty old doll, in the middle of a city with seemingly nobody to care for or look after them. Even looking around she could discern not a soul that would seem to be looking after the girl in the slightest. Was she alone? Abandoned? An orphan? IT was certainly possible, given the state of things. People died quite suddenly, and every day. Really what was one more orphan? There were so very many, herself included.

She furrowed her brows and considered. She could hardly just up and take the girl in. Thye nomadic life was not the sort of thing a young girl could do with. At least not healthily. Not only that but she hardly felt up for adopting the little one. And even if she HAD such a thing in mind, what was she going to do? Just ask the girl to go with her? Surely not. And so she found herself continuing to look down at the mumbling toddler, trying to think of what to do whilst they had their continued conversation about Bugsy and Betsy.

Of course unbeknownst to Tveda they were no longer alone. down the alley a pair of shady-looking fellows was on their way down the alleyway in their direction. Crooked smiles painted across their ugly faces as the soft glint of steel shone in the dimly-lit alleyway as they did so make their way toward the pair of them. Two girls in the wrong side of town all on their own. It was, in their opinion, a fine example of some good pickings.

Yuurei continued his observation between the two girls as he wondered what the girl with the bandages was trying to accomplish. It felt like she was trying to frighten the little girl, but that didn’t happen at all. Instead she had looked at her and continued on with her stuff animal. He smiled because that young little girl was brave, able to take care of herself, and even reminded him of Kitania. He did noticed that the young girl removed the bandages around her face, which he shook his head as he figured that what he thought before was true. Still, he didn’t think somebody would do that for no reason, but maybe there was truly no reason. He just sat down on the ledge of the roof top as he found a comfortable and safe spot now. He didn’t have to worry about falling and he wondered how long he would continue to watch the two.

The tall girl had caught his interest; she looked really pale and it seemed like she was very slim as well. He could only wonder what kind of past that she had to go through, but knew he would never get such a story told to him. He picked up a few more scent coming through the alleyway and to be more specific there were a few of them as well. He could smell them, and their scent was awful. He didn’t know what was going to happen, but a group of men bumping into two girls no matter what was bad. He could see their appearance revealing slowly. There were quite a few of them to be honest and their smiles couldn’t help but make him feel that something bad was going to happen. He rubbed the back of his head as he noticed the glimmering steel they had.

”I didn’t think such a thing would happen in this city,” he sighed as he didn’t want to move, but knew he was going to have to. ”I guess no city is really perfect. I guess I should introduce myself,” the men’s smile were disgusting him now and he had pushed himself off the ledge of the roof as he was now falling towards the ground. ”Hello there ladies. Why are you two here by yourself?” one of the men had asked, but before any of them could even answer Yuurei had landed on the ground as stretched his arms into the air and cracked his neck. ”What a landing that was,” he said to himself as he looked at the men that were all formed in a weird formation.

”Who the hell are you? You should go,” he said to Yuurei. The Dragon Slayer had heard his words, but was shocked that as soon as he arrived he was asked to leave. He put his hands to his sides and examined the men that were here. ”I don’t think I could leave, but why you guys have all these weapons in your hands? Are you planning on doing something?” he asked him with a smile on his face. His right hand had was up to his chest as he was opening and closing his hand as he was cracking his fingers by doing this. He was ready for anything, and well he hoped that the girls didn’t question his arrival either.

"Yeah, I know, Bugsy. Well, I guess that could happen...blah, but what if she doesn't like it here? Hm, ya think so? I mean, she's really nice and all, but do you really think she'd like all this stone n' stuff? No, they aren't! Weren't they made out of, like, bone or something? No, no, she told me she made them out of...cart-ill-edge, I think. I dunno, that's what she called it! Wait, they're the same thing? Oh, barfleflarp, I've been lied to! Hm...maybe Jon would like it here? He's a lot more...stone-y than Betsy, y'know? Huh? Say it again. I...don't get it. Oh. OH. Bugsy, that's just mean! Okay, yeah, maybe it's true, but she's right in front of us, at least wait until we're alone to say that kinda stuff! Oh, shut up, you oversized furball! What's a Hippo-Crit, anyway? Stop using b-Oh hi." The long-winded conversation came to an abrupt halt as this new man landed on the concrete in front of her, seemingly having jumped down from the roof above them.

It was only now that Cynthia noticed the presence of a group of men approaching them, the newcomer having gotten in between them and the two girls. Speaking of which, the pale girl turned to face the taller, equally-pale female with a little wave. "Hi-hi. Sorry about Bugsy. He's not really nice to people he doesn't know." The child shrugged apologetically.

Cynthia then turned to the rather tough-looking man on her other side. "Hi, guy." She paid no attention to the men behind him.

Tveda quirked a brow slightly at the apparent butt of a joke she had been made by Bugsy. She wasn't sure if she should feel offended, though in any case it soon was brought to her attention that some men were coming in their direction, greeting her and the little one with a very unpleasant-ness about them. Narrowing her eyes, she reached for fishsticker, though she was surprised to find that the new arrival was almost protectively confronting the men. Tveda herself furrowed her brows, not liking the look of the men at all as she placed herself protectively between them and Cynthia, that little bony shank in hand.

The men were very unpleasant. The man on her left seemed to be fairly tall and skinny, with a very dark skin tone and a strange rectangular object slung across his back. As the male confronted the pair he pulled it free, that rectangle splitting open before a blade gleamed and the two halves swung about and snapped together, revealing that it was a cleaver-like blade designed similarly to a butterfly knife. With his weapon drawn he moved forward and seemed to be putting himself in Yuurei's face. "Iz'ere a problem here kid? I ain't seein no city guard's uniform on ya. You shouldn't stick yourself in otha people's business." He suggested.

His partner meanwhile hung back, leeting at Yuu and the girls from afar. Shorter and stockier than his partner, that knife in his hand was soon joined by two others, held between his fingers as he seemed ready to strike depending on Yuu's response to his partner. Between the both of them, it was very clear that they had ill-intentions for Tveda and Cynthia, and she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end as she moved back a little closer to Cynthia. The crowded alleyway was hardly spacious, and the entire group was easily all contained within a 5 meter bubble.

She had no idea as to wether or not this strange young man was capable of handling both of them, but she didn't plan on just sitting by playing meat shield for Cynthia. Well, not JUST that. Focusing her mind, she cave a curl of her fingers, those pale, corpse-like eyes locked onto the shorter of the pair. From behind that man, a slightly taller body emerged from the ground, bursting from the street. The body itself was completely skinless and as it popped up behind the man, blood dripped from it's arms, through which four stakes pierced it at the forearms and biceps. Lunging, it would aim to grasp the man from behind, digging the points of those stakes into the man's skin whilst holding him in place. Hopefully, with this move, she would keep him from attacking, whilst also drawing the attention of the taller, skinnier baddie, hopefully more than enough to give the man an opening as the two would be busy wondering what had happened. Thankfully with Tveda's positioning she might even be able to keep cynthia from seeing what her magic had conjured. So far as she knew the girl still had some innocence to be protected.

Yuurei had looked at the people who were here and ready to do something. Still, the little girl next to him had noticed him and said hi to him. He was impressed that she wasn’t scared, but it was more like she didn’t really noticed that there were men trying to do harm to her. He just stood his ground as he waved at her with a smile on his face as well. ”Hi there you two,” he placed his attention to the thugs now as his hi was meant for bother little girl and the doll she had. He knew how it was for small kids to have dolls. They were real to them or in a sense just a thing they could speak to. It wasn’t his first time experiencing this, there was another person he knew who had done the same, which he worried about now that he wasn’t near.

Still, he knew not to make a big deal out it because she was in a separate guild and he knew that she would be well taken care of. He took his mind off of that as he was going to pay attention and the matter at hand. He figured that things would be a little surprising to the girls, but that was probably going to have that effect on only one of them. That was when he noticed that one of the men was quick to move towards him. He looked at him as he just smiled at him with the things he had said. He couldn’t help but allow himself to let a small laugh escape him. This guy wasn’t serious right now right? They were planning on doing something to these girls and he wasn’t supposed to stop it? He stopped his laugher and rubbed the back of his head as he figured that he should answer.

He knew that things wouldn’t be good after this, but he figured it was going to get ugly either way. ”There is a problem. You guys are here with weapons in your hand ready to do something to these girls. I don’t know what it is but I wasn’t going to allow that to happen. It’s not my business, but I’m sure going to make it my business now. So do something about it,” he said this, but noticed that there was a man who had been attacked by something. He could smell the blood on that thing and the man had been struck, which meant there was no holding back right now. He noticed that the two men that were in front of him had looked to see what happened to their friend, but that was bad on their part.

They had figured he must have been weak, which was going to be their downfall. ”Kouryū no Kagitsume,” he said as his hands and legs started to glow with light magic. He had grabbed the man shoulder, which turned him around and when he looked at Yuurei he was ready to attack, but he was only met with a face square in the face. The dragon slayer had sent the man flying through the alley and into the wall. He had looked over to the other man who heard the impact of the attack and the impact of the wall. He was surprised that his friend had been taken out that easily, but figured it was because he was caught off guard. That was it though, but he knew there was no point in telling him that.

Instead he watched the man as he had attacked him with the weird weapon he had, but fail to hit him. Yuurei had jumped over the weapon itself as he would have split into if it were up to him. His jump had him in move closer to the man and Yuurei had landed a knee to the man’s skull, which slammed him into the ground and unconscious now. He just smiled as he looked over to see who else wanted to fight because they were really not finish with these thugs right now.
