Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

The youngest girl of the group was indeed the most annoyig to Free as he tried to say the right words. But yes, Syeena was super close, giving him a good look. "The better to... the better to..." IT was then that Emily rose her voice rather rudely to get it over with. Oh to hell with it... he thought.

Suddenly he lunged up, his outfit now pretty much blown as they could he was a full grown man in merely the grandma's night cap. His arms were up and about to grab for Syeena. "THE BETTER TO EAT YOU MY DEAR!!" He shouted.

About time he got it right, Syeena thought as he lunged to grab her. However, all she did was take the flowers and shove it into his face.

Pfft! Free spat out a collection of leaves and flowers that had been stuffed into his mouth. Clearly not tasty for someone like him. Spatting it out, he growled and lunged to grab Syeena once more. His hands were about to grab her-- till suddenly in a flash she vanished, causing him to grab nothing but air!

In the blink of an eye, Syeena was back at the doorframe, exactly where she left the card she had stuck to it. She had a feeling that would happen so placing a card there helped her teleport back! She now stood there, facing the man Free with a hand on her hip. "I swear, no one appreciates the classics these days..." Syeena sighed , knowing Emily clearly didn't care for theatrics it seemed. "As for YOU, you are not fooling anyone, with the wolf in sheep's clothing act."

Free had a dumbfounded, open mouth expression as he looked at Syeena. "Wha...! You telling me you saw through my foolproof disguise?!" he said in shock.

Hex, hovering above Syeena had a strained look on her face, her cat witch's hat on croocked from the shock. "Seriously? THAT was foolproof? Seems this one isn't too bright."

At this time, Syeena reached up to her glasses and readjusted them. As she did, now a view of her eyes could be seen. "Perhaps so, Hex... Let's teach him a lesson then," she said determination as now a steely strong look could be seen behind her glasses.

As she spoke, her magic triggered as a Tarot Card fluttered out before her! The card, The Temperance, fluttered before her as she reached out for it. As she did, light glowed around her, as if empowered by the card. "Persona!" she said, and then slashed through the card with a motion of her hand.

The card shattered and with it so did her clothing-- becoming a collection of multi-colored lights and cards. It covered her body discretely but still showed a bit of her naked body as she moved, making a dramatic pose as she felt the magic wrap around her. A bit flashy, but it was Syeena style... and Free looked like he would have a nosebleed any moment :P

Finally, the lights faded and the cards did their magic-- to show Syeena was in a new outfit. Her more used black-sorceress outfit with custom cut to allow mobility and flexibility while still carrying a witchy feel, colored in black with orange symbols. Now Emily could see Syeena for what she truly was, esp with the now visible legs and the Grimore Heart logo on her leg as well.

She was a witch of Grimore Heart.

WHOOOOT!!!

Steam seemed to come from Free as he saw Syeena. "WOW! That was great!" he said, clearly not getting the clear trouble he was in. "I means sure, you were cute before with the glasses in a less obvious way, but you transforming --- that was super hot! How about you be my little red riding hood from now on eh?"

Talk was over for Syeena as she magically drew her cards, filling her hand and clearly telling Emily the fight was on! "No thanks, but you do know what happens at the end of that story!" she said and with that threw her cards at Free!

After that, she and Hex backed out for the exit to the house, and encouraged Emily to follow suit. They wouldn't be able to fight well indoors like this!

Things were going from mildly interesting to downright entertaining as far as Emily was concerned. She watched Syeena’s transformation with glee and wished again that she held the kind of power that would allow her to do such things. The redhead reminded herself that some intense magical training would be in order after she was finished this mission. Clearly she had to get better with her magical abilities but now was not the time to think about it.

As they began moving outside, Emily thought she’d throw a little obstacle in Free’s way so she stomped her foot down hard and opened up a crack that quickly spread to entrap the wolf-like man in its grasp. She somersaulted backwards through the door and drew Blood’s Tear in a single smooth motion. The black blade had tasted its fair share of blood lately and she was quite willing to feed the blade again. She grinned at Syeena and said, “That was a nifty trick you did with the cards back there. I wish I knew how to do that kind of thing!”

There was a growl that sounded from inside as Free finally extracted his leg from the hole that Emily had left for him and came charging out into the open. He seemed annoyed as he shouted, “You girls just aren’t any fun! We could have played some games if only you’d been willing to play along! Now I guess I have to punish you for being boring.”

The redhead glanced at her companion and said, “I guess we have to show him that these two girls don’t play so nice huh?”

She drew one of her throwing knives and whipped it at the wolf, watching it arc through the air towards him.

Syeena agreed with the little girl-- but they had to take this fight outside if they could. Syeena's spells and she bet so did Emily's magic could damage the house. ANd she hoped the grandmother was stashed away somewhere. "Come on!" she urged! Taking her arm, she and Hex quickly ran for the door!

Free followed, chasing after them despite the injuries he had endurced.

Syeena and Hex quickly sprinted out of the door, now into the wide open space of the woods. She ran for about 20 meters before turning to see Free emerge from the house as well. tossing the last shreds of his 'disguise' away. Still with her wings, Hex hovered near Emily. "Wow we really got a strange one. A crossdressing man with a thing for the ladies. " the cat said with venomous humor, clearly trying to irritate Free.

"Grr! This is exactly why I hate cats! Though if you want to play, I do love a good chase! " he replied.

But Syeena was not about to let things get out of hand any further. Just as Emily had attacked, so would Syeena. Exquipting more cards, Syeena also added her own magic to the mix-- conjuring once more the Umbral Fate spell. The cards now glowed black in between her fingers as she used the spell she had used before. She bewitched her cards with darkness, which would make them strike far harder than before. " Play with this, you careless idiot!" she hissed angrily. She threw the cards with deadly accuracy, aiming for the man!

STHWITCH!! The cards shot right into the man's body, the darkness adding to their potency and sharpness without fail. They struck into this arms, chest, legs and even one to his head. Such blows would of easily subdued any man as Free stumbled back. It could of torn a regular person to ribbons...

... however, it wasn't so easy.

Free still stood. He gave a small shake of his body, and some of the cards came lose as they lost their black-aura after being thrown. Slowly, he raised one of his large hands and tugged a card from his chest, followed by one on his head.

Syeena looked shocked. "W-what?? Impossible..." she gasped.

After pulling the cards free, Free smirked at Syeena's direction. "Nice shot, girl. Those did sting a little," he said almost casually! "Yeah... I can let my guard down from time to time... but luckily I can afford to."

At that time, Hex noticed something as well, telling the others. "Oh no! Guys! His wounds! They are closing up!" Hex shrieked with concern.

ANd true to her words-- Free's cuts and damage he had suffered back inside the house as well as from Syeena's violent cards cutting into him were vanishing. The gashes easily closed up all on their own, and Free didn't seem to even mind at all.

Free grew a wolf' like grin at them. "Of cOurse it would close up! What else would it do?" he said, as if the knowledge was common sense. The look his magic-left eye made Syeena feel like something was very wrong. "After all, I am IMMORTAL!" he growled.

Syeena backed up a step. "What... an Immortal? " she gasped.

"Maybe things will make more sense when I show you my true form..." he said with a wicked laugh. Suddenly, energy crackled around him like lightning , and his form began to change! He growled and grunted as his physical body seemed to change! His fingers became like claws, his arms grew hair, his muscles bulged and his eyes seem to become feral. His face became narrower, and as he growled, his teeth appeared to become sharper!

The air seemed to churn around him as he transformed, as now his features were more beast like, including a bushy tail as well. This would no doubt shock Emily as well as the others.

"MREOWW!! WEREWOLF!!" Hex mewed with shock as she hovered closer to Emily. "Why is it always werewolves!!" she complained.

After his flashy transformation, he let out a wolf-like howl, then glared to his targets-- his magical left eye glowing a bit. "Mmm I can smell ya, girl. Don't worry! I don't bite-- hard anyway! " he said in a lewd come-on way and sprinted for Syeena.

Syeena quickly threw more cards, trying to trip up Free but Free was now faster in this state, and began to dodge the cards. He was soon on top of her in the air, trying to strike-- but yet again, Syeena teleported right before his claws could touch her.

She appeared behind him, throwing another barrage of cards she actually made this time-- poised to strike him from behind.

Emily felt the slip and surge of magic within her again and as Free attacked, she broke the bonds of the soil to soften it under him, again trapping him in a morass of thick mud. It helped that this was a forest with a thick layer of humus under the topsoil so it became black, gooey mud that held him in place. As an immortal, the best that they could hope to do was damage him severely enough that they could get away, before he could come after them and destroy them.

She still had two throwing knives left and she used them in a way that would have killed most ordinary beings. Just as Syeena threw her cards, she flicked the knives right at Free’s face, aiming for his eyes. The knives moved quickly but he managed to deflect one. The other struck his eye and blinded him temporarily. Of course, it would heal once he got the knife out but it bought them some time. She shouted at Hex, “Now! Strike at the blind side now! More damage is always better.”

As the Exceed cat flew around, the redhead went for the oldest of old school weapons, hefting a large stone and throwing it with as much force as she could muster to strike the werewolf hard on his blind side, leaving a nasty wound on his face. Again her goal wasn’t to kill given the obvious difficulties that posed with their current target but instead to make such a mess that it would take him a while to heal again. Whatever they could do to get themselves the time and space they needed to make an escape seemed to be the logical thing to do.

(A bit overcontrolling stuff Moon >< Saying you did so much when Free wouldn't let you so easily)

The attacks Emily had threw at Free did slow him down a bit, as did Syeena's quick change and throwing of cards. The attacks emily left hit but he caught the dagger from hitting his eye. "Hey! I may be immortal but i dont want scars lady! " the immortal barked at Emily. Clearly the guy was very pervy and a tad vain, wanting to really try to impress Syeena and Emily but they were playing rough. It wasn't hard to tell this werewolf was very pervy and wanted to have his type of fun with them.

Still, Syeena was far from done!

After she had teleported and threw more cards, Free had jumped up and into one of the tree limbs above! Syeena gritted her teeth, knowing they had gotten themselves into a mess of trouble! "Emily, Hex, get inside!" Syeena shouted to her comrades, not wanting them to get hurt. They had to get inside and buy some time. At that moment, Syeena threw a barrage of cards once more in all directions, spinning them in all directions. In doing so she made many points for herself to teleport to.

"Hehe... you ladies aren't going anywhere!" Free growled from the tree limb and pounced, proceeded to go after Syeena to try and catch her. At that moment, Syeena's produced one more card-- a glowing one with the form of the Moon on it.

It was the Persona of the Moon. "Persona!!" Syeena shouted and crushed the card in her hands, causing her whole body to come alive with light nad magic, the once again dazzling display of cards masking her naked body to replace with a new object...

... forming the blue cowl and robes of the Moon. She had exquit it with the hood up and in the blink of an eye, she vanished. Free landed where she had been standing and didn't feel anything. At first, it appeared like she teleported, but that was not it...

Syeena was around and moving but unseen by anyone else. She exquitp on a garment that gave her the power of invisibility. Using it she could outwit and manuver Free. But Free smiled, and sniffed the air.

"You can run, but you can't hide my dear! I can smell you!" he said, already sniffing the air to track down Syeena... and soon pin pointed her position. He quickly ran in chace, heading for a nearby tree-- where Syeena was hiding hidden by her cloak's magic.

Emily resisted the temptation to slug Syeena and take things over herself. She didn’t like people who gave orders to her, but she managed to do what she was told and retreat with Hex back into the house. She turned to the floating Exceed cat and grumbled, “Does she always order people around like that? You must get a bit annoyed with it! I sure would.”

Watching the witch’s magic was always entertaining for the redhead. She only wished that she had that sort of power and ability, but she always seemed to be more inclined to use her blade. Perhaps it was the fact that the results of using it were much more rapidly visible or perhaps it was the way the dagger felt as it cut through muscle and bone. However, Syeena seemed to have underestimated Free as his senses were clearly strong enough to pick up her scent.

Despite what she’d been told, Emily thought she’d better distract the werewolf again, so she stepped out of the door and sent a throwing knife whistling past Free’s ear as she called out, “Yoohoo! Mr. Big Bad Wolf! Why don’t you come and play with me?!”

She hoped that he’d turn and buy her companion enough time to do something else and turn the fight back into the favor again. As much as she was selfish, Emily also had a strong sense of competition and she hated losing almost as much as she hated doing anything to help anyone else, so she wasn’t about to stand around and let them lose.

Syeena wasn't TRYING to be bossy but the fact was-- Emily was younger and less experienced than Syeena! That made Syeena the senior ranking mage next to her and it was HER word she had to respect. Something Syeena would scold her about if she had the time, but luckily she didn't. Hex turned to Emily and answered; "Do you want ME to boss you around instead, sweetie?" Hex replied with sarcasm to indicate the cat could be much worse.

Still, the distraction was appreciated as Free attempted to run at Syeena. Though he could smell her, he still couldn't see her. As such, she bent down low and tripped him in a swoop of her leg. Free went flying , stumbling like a tumbleweed and crashed into a tree, denting it with his mighty strength.

At that moment, Syeena's form appeared, removing the hood of the invisibility cloak. After which she saw Free stumble.

"Ouch... oh that is gonna leave a mark! Why all the girls gotta play hard to get against a stud like me... but its okay, nothing to see here!" he said as if to self brag as he picked himself up. He gave a crack of his muscles and soon was looking as good as new. "After all... I am Immortal."

Syeena didn't even bother to reply as she quickly ran for the house. Seeing Emily there, she urged her inside just as Free had gotten up and quickly began dashing for the door! Sprinting with her normal speed, she quickly got inside, pushed Emily and Hex away and closed the door-- right as Free jumped again.

Syeena closed the door just in time as Free landed face first in to the door, followed by a loud THUD! Despite the crash, Free remained composed if a bit ditzy. At least now the girls had time to form a plan, but odds are the house was not gonna keep the wolf out for long.

"Little girls, Little girls, Let me in!" Free growled, his tail swishing angrily and his teeth showing as he growled at the door.

At that time, he saw movement in the window next to the door, high up where the wolf couldn't get in. It was a small window too small to crawl through-- but enough for Hex to hop up on the ledge to look out at the wolf. Hearing Free, the cat replied. "Not by the whiskers on our chinny-chin-chins! Mreow!" she said, mimicking the fairy tail answer from the 'Three little pigs'. The sassy cat then turned and hopped back down, going to talk to the girls and hopefully make a plan.

Free growled, now irritated by that cat. "Alright then.. no more mister nice wolf," Free said as he growled, magic power swelling behind his eye and his muscles. "Then I'm gonna huff... and gonna puff..." he shouted aloud, hearable to the girls inside. "And I'm GONNA... gonna... ugh..."

He blinked, forgetting what came after puff. Though Free was powerful, it was clear he wasn't too bright.

"We don't have much time. Pretty soon, he will bust in. We need a plan to subdue him and throw him off. He can't be killed so any ideas how we can stop him?" she asked, getting Emily's idea on the situation. Hex sat nearby, listening and waiting for her turn to talk too.

Emily was starting to wonder how it was that she fell into the middle of a fairytale. All of this was unfolding like the stories that she vaguely recalled from her childhood. She wasn’t really going to be in a house that got blown down by a wolf, was she? It would be simultaneously hilarious and pathetic. However she was more inclined to go along with Syeena and think of a solution. She said, “What if we conceal ourselves in the room and lay some kind of a trap? We could entrap him in a closet or something? Stick it like a pincushion. We could also drop something heavy on him from above? It might buy us some time.”

She paused and added, “Is there something magical you could do, Syeena? Could you do something that would blind him, confuse him or cause him to be misdirected? I really don’t know the extent of your powers so I can’t be completely helpful.”

Logistics of this nature weren’t a strong point for Emily. She was talented when it came to manipulating people’s emotions and then ambushing them or attacking in a bold-faced, full-frontal way. Traps and combat strategy were not something with which she’d had a great deal of experience. She only hoped that either Hex or Syeena was better at strategic thinking than she was.

The door was starting to buckle inwards and they all knew it wouldn’t be long before Free was inside. Whatever they considered had better happen ASAP or they were all going to be the equivalent of human dog food.

Hearing Emily's suggestion, Syeena had to agree. "You read my mind. And I think I have just the thing to trick that dumb mutt," Syeena said as she drew one of her cards. The Moon.

Meanwhile outside, Free was rubbing his head. "I'm gonna puff and... and... Damn it-shit! I could of sworn i remembered what happened next!" Free said, pacing outside the door a bit. It seemed he had forgotten how his spell, or rather the wording to whatever he was trying to say, went. He just didn't want to go through without remembering it, despite how simple a line was. Any five-year-old could of remembered it. "Just a little rusty I guess. But no matter! Let's see... huff... puff.. then hmm... I know i can remember how it went..."

Finally, during the time Syeena and Emily were discussing it, he finally jumped up. One could of seen a light bulb flash over his head as he remembered it. "A-ha! Now I remember!" he declared loudly, pretty much telling the girls inside the house as he got close to the door again. "I'm gonna huff, and I'm gonna puff--- and I'm GONNA BLOW THE HOUSE DOWN!!" Free then inhaled a large breath, his chest puffing out a little, and finally released a large howl!

A twister like movement of air gusted out before him and slammed into the door! In an instant, the door was torn off its hinges and the surrounding hall thrown into disarray as the picture frames and reliefs on the wall were tossed off. It was like a hurricane had struck as Free's howl had literally caused a concentrated tornado.

The doorway was covered by a cloud of debris as Free slowly walked through and looked around. "Heeeereeee Wolfy!!" he called out, telling them he was inside.

No sooner did he walk past the first room-- he saw her. Syeena was standing there, clothed once again in her regular black and orange witch's attire. She stood there with a hand on her hips, giving Free a confident and smug look. "Looking for me, handsome?" she teased, trying to egg him on. There was indeed a trap now, and wherever Emily was hiding/observing, she would soon see it in effect. After all, it waited for the trap to be sprung. "For all your boasting, I hope you can impress me."

STeam emitted from Free's ears it seemed as he wagged his tail at her. "Lady, you haven't seen anything yet. I'll give you something to howl at!" he said with clear perverted desire. He then pounced, jumping into the room towards Syeena.

Just as his claws had touched her, standing cooly, her form literally shattered into shards of light! Free landed face first into the ground, skidding into a nearby bookcase and toppling books. The only thing left where Syeena had stood was a single card-- The Moon Tarot card. Now Emily could tell with certainty... the card held the power of Illusion. It allowed Syeena to create a realistic illusion of herself to act as a decoy and throw off enemies.

Just as Free had moved a book of his mussel, he saw something above the bookshelf. There was the smirking face of the black cat Hex. She waved a paw at him. "For an immortal, magic werewolf, you are not too bright, ya know?" the cat said. At that moment, the cat jumped and flung her paw towards him. A flurry of magical Halloween symbols suddenly sprinkled all over Free, causing him to swat at them like flies.

Hex had delivered one of her jinxes upon Free-- being called Jinx itself. A spell the black cat had which could cause bad luck upon an enemy ( debuff to speed and accuracy under the guise of bad luck) . Now that Free was under the effects of this spell, dealing damage and evading his attacks would be much easier.

Syeena emerged from the other room she had been hiding, hearing Hex's meow. She peered over the doorway, seeing Free digging himself out of the books and Hex fluttering over to her with her wings. "You're gonna have to do better than that to make me give you a treat, doggy." Syeena teased further and ran for the exit to the house again.

"Don't encourage the filthy mutt!" Hex retorted and flew after her!

Emily emerged from behind a toppled bookcase. Her bright shock of red hair was mussed up and her clothes were slightly torn but she was laughing as she twirled Blood’s Tear in her fingers. Chaos and destruction just entertained her and all of the magic being flung about was unspeakably exciting. She lost herself in the conflict and forgot that she was actually in any danger. There was something to be said for hanging around with witches, werewolves and flying cats. She noticed that Free was attempting to extricate himself from a pile of books and decided a little more mischief was in order.

She concentrated her magic, brought her foot stomping down on the ground and opened a crack that spread towards the werewolf and sunk him into the floor under the pile of books. She whistled jauntily and scampered out of the house behind Syeena. They had to try and get away but it was clear that their wolfish friend wasn’t about to give up the chase now that he’d set his sights on the young witch.

She turned to both the Exceed cat and Syeena and asked, “So what do we do now? I mean he’s going to keep being a pest unless we find a way to really slow him down. If we could, I don’t know, trap him down a well or something it might work? I mean there must be some wells around here somewhere, right?”

Half-jokingly she added, “Or we could find a bridge with a troll under it. I hear they do a really good job of slowing people down. Giant grey-skinned creatures tend to be useful for that.”

It was only half-joking because when she was growing up there had been rumours of a bridge-troll that ate travelers near her village. Considering the fairy tale that she was in the middle of now, it wasn’t necessarily the worst idea she’d ever come up with.
