So, I'll get right down to it. I'm an experienced RPer, with 6+ years of text experience and 10+ years of overall RP experience. Would probably fall into the "advanced" category when I put the effort in (i.e.: average post on my previous site was over 1000 words). I'm no stranger to role-play, be it written or otherwise, but I am new to the site. I'm mostly looking for someone who can help me get a better grip on the systems here, especially those systems that are important for combat. I've read through the rules, so I have a decent grasp of things, but there's usually a lot about combat you can't learn until you actually write it yourself in my experience. Learning to put all the different systems and numbers together to determine the results of a given attack/defense are an area I want to work on for sure. I would appreciate the instruction of someone who is well versed with those systems. Beyond that, I'm still working on the self-driven RP. I'm generally used to more one on one focused threads, or adventures/quests run by a dungeon master. Adjusting to the style of DM-less RPC-driven stories will take a bit of getting used to, but it's seemed enjoyable so far. As far as IC goals go, right now I'm mostly just looking to blitz through those first 15 SP so Razia can join a guild. Then I need to find a guild to join, and hope to start steady progress on missions. I'm not going to say anything cocky like "I'm going to be S-rank next month," because that'd be silly for a new member to claim, but I'd like to try and avoid my entire career being D-rank :P If you've got any questions, let me know. |
