Cleia actually was impressed by Bro's gesture. Other people would have tried to make excuses and get off as lightly as they could, especially since Cleia and Yuurei had not been openly hostile to them. She stepped forward and took the other map, the one that she had not bought before, from Bro.

"It's all right. you can keep my map. And don't worry, I won't ask you for any extra... 'throw-ins'. I think you've been honest enough with us. I am still interested though, if you don't mind, in knowing more about all this business of yours, and why you'd be telling us all these things, just like Mr. Yuurei has asked."

She opened the map that she had just taken from Bro, unrolled it and gave it a quick look, before rolling it back up and tucking it safely into her backpack. That done, she folded her arms and took a more relaxed posture, as she waited for Bro to explain further about the Eye of Purple Moon, and about why he was disclosing what could be considered a secret to some...

... Bro looked at Cleia with open surprise. "Well, this is rare. You don't often come across folk who are willing to let you go so easy after such a slip-up. Thanks, Cleia, Yuurei... both of you." He straightened up, a relaxed and satisfied smile spread over his rugged features. "I'd be honored to oblige your questions.

Let's start with why I'm telling you guys all this. The truth is, we know that you guys knowing anything about the Eye of Purple Moon won't really benefit you much, unless you're into our business. And you're not, else you'd have at least heard of it. So we can tell you freely, and gain back whatever level of trustworthiness we may have lost. Integrity does help our business much, you know?"

Bro paused, then gave a chuckle. "And concerning the Eye of Purple Moon, well, it is very important, but then, the word 'important' is very relative. If by important, you mean wielding great power to make you Emperor of the World and bleach the livers of all your enemies, no. It's very far from that. In fact, it's not something that can even be utilized in combat or any such situation.

The Eye of Purple Moon is a very evasive treasure, virtually gaining legendary status for that reason. It is a magical artifact, because it does have the uncanny ability to purify any type of water you place it into, though at the cost of turning it purple. Oh, it can also color diamonds and other clear precious stones. We've been able to prove it exists, and now we're this close to finding it. I don't know about the others, but I like doing what others haven't accomplished."

Flick chimed in suddenly, his face filled with excitement and a glint in his eye: "D'you guys know what getting that Eye will do for our rep? Reputation is what we sell as treasure hunters. No matter how good you are at tracking stuff, no one will ever give you a contract, unless you're well known. Once we get into the Sorcerer's Weekly... whoo-yeah!"

Bro waved him away with a laugh. "Don't get ahead of yourself, Flick. You can 'whoo' and 'whee' when we lay our hands on that jewel." He grinned at Yuurei and Cleia. "Anything else you'd want to know?"

Yuurei had noticed that Cleia was okay with taking another map. He could only smile because she wasn’t ignorant, nor was she the type to cause a hassle out of something that was trying to be solved peacefully. There was one thing different than him and her though and it was this, he would have asked for something else. He figured something more special that was valuable to them besides the maps here, or just money. Still, this was not his place to say a thing, so of course he just smiled as she was interested in the topic that they had brought up. He had been relaxed this whole entire time, which was weird because he had tensed up the time Flick had touched him. It was probably because he was worried about Cleia, but nothing bad happened to her.

He just yawned a bit and without a noise as he didn’t want to be rude to anybody around him. Yuurei heard what Bro had said, which made him look to his right before he rubbed his head. He wasn’t the one that had his stuff being stolen, so he could get something out of it. The thing was Yuurei was pretty well in his life with money and he had been before turning his life in the rode of a mage. Still, he left it all behind and gained it all back. It was things like this that had gotten him the money that he had earned beyond his expectation. At least he was getting a story out of it, which he didn’t mind at all. It would be great to learn about something new that was hidden in the world that he lived in.

He had listened carefully to what Bro said and the young mage could only give out a smirk for his reasons on telling them about this treasure. If he had found it by chance, he could only wonder how much profit he could make. His bubbled popped though as Bro spoke, which snapped back into reality. He listened to what the Eye of Purple Moon could do and to be honest it was a nice magical artifact indeed. Purifying water was always a great thing; he could also guess that discovering this would only allow people to study it, understand it and mass produce it throughout Fiore and then the rest of the world. ”That means these guys will be reach and possibly famous after they find it, if they find it first,” he figured they weren’t the only ones looking for it.

The young mage could only laugh because he was surprised that this was a way to become known to the world. He had been in the Sorcerer’s Weekly once as they had spoken about him and the things that he had done in Fiore in the past. This was before his turn of events in becoming a Dragon slayer and becoming even stronger. He didn’t want that, but it kind of happened, but he understood where they were coming from. ”I think that would be all at least for me. It’s kind of nice to see your face in the Sorcerer’s weekly. Only been on their once, but I had no choice; still, I wish you luck in finding this Eye of Purple Moon,” he nodded at Bro and the rest of the guys as they seemed like they were comfortable enough to trust each other as well.

These guys seemed to have a nice game plan to get to fame, but of course, as was always the case with relevant endeavors, things were easier said than done. The concept of purifying water was something that could be tapped as a source of making clean, easy money, although Cleia wondered if anyone would be willing to drink purple hued water. Bathe with it, perhaps yes, but people were really careful of what they put in their mouths.

She stifled a laugh at Flick's very excited behavior. Well, many young folk liked fame and all the attention that came with it. Cleia wasn't sure she could appreciate such a life of noise, excessive activity and too little "me-time". She was surprised that Yuurei had featured in the Sorcerer's Magazine. Wasn't that for high profile mages and big celebrities? Indeed, it was true of the adage: "do not judge a book by its cover."

"Well, well, isn't Mr. Yuurei the famous one? He looks so cool and easy going... who knew? I wonder what got him featured in that magazine. No wonder he's famous."

With Bro and Flick concluded with their discussions and explanations, Bro wanted to know if there was anything else he could clarify. Cleia thought for a moment, then shook her head. There wasn't really anything else she wanted to know. She had originally wanted to ascertain that they were good guys, and now she was more or less convinced... even though one of them had stolen from her, she was sure their hearts were in the right place.

"I don't have any questions, I suppose; my curiosity has been satisfied. Like Mr. Yuurei, I wish you all the best in finding your treasure... Oh wait, there's something I want to know. You guys are familiar with this town, right? Is there any fastest route back to the station? I'm afraid we may have missed our train out of this place."

She couldn't tell how long they had spent in Oshibana, but she was sure it was more than an hour...

... Questions answered and grievances pacified, the two Toms looked a lot more comfortable. There was the issue of getting the two youngsters back to the terminal; after all, it was the fault of Bro and his crew that they were here.

"Hmmm, well, we could always take you back the same way you came, unless you want to climb to the roof tops and make a beeline for the train station. Not sure so many people would appreciate that, though..."

"I could lend a hand. I'm capable of manipulating and altering the direct location of a person via spatial distortions..." Flick suggested.

Bro rolled his eyes. "What he means in English is, he can teleport you guys back to the boarding platform, if need be. We've used it lots of times when we needed to meet stringent deadlines. It's very safe, though your head may swim for the next few seconds after touch down. So, it's your choice, and we're willing to oblige any option you pick. Which will it be?"

Yuurei had heard what she had said to him and he shrugged as he didn’t think of it as a big deal. He figured she was just teasing him, but it was not something he enjoyed. He didn’t want to be famous or known around the world. He wanted the people who he had done jobs for to appreciate him and recommend him for other work. Still, things got out of hand and people knew who he was. He wanted to keep in a confine area and have it so only a select few knew. ”I don’t want to talk about it. It was just something I did, but I told them not to feature me and it happened anyways,” he said in a way that proved that being showered in fame wasn’t always the best thing in life. He loved when people didn’t know who he was and he could surprise those that came in contact with him with his skills.

He was ready to go thought, but he stood there because he wasn’t going to have Cleia be here on her own with a group of men. She had asked them something else and it was actually quite a useful question. He knew he could make it back to the station quickly, but she on the other hand couldn’t keep up. There was an easier way to get her to the station and it would be her being on his back, but for now he waited to see what Bro would say to them. There wasn’t a way that Bro offered that he didn’t think of. He figured he could suggest that she had gotten on his back, but that was when Flick had spoken up. This man did use magic and it was a unique magic indeed. He knew now that if he had to fight someone like that, then he would be able to prevent himself from being off guard.

He figured that it would be the best way to get to the station after all the time they had spent away from leaving this town. ”I’m okay with Flick taking us back to the station. It wouldn’t an issue in my eyes and I would like to have a taste of what his magic could do. So I’ll take your teleporting power back to the train station Flick,” he smile at the man. They had never asked him about what he meant about his magic being his greatest treasure, which he was okay with that. The man of speed didn’t have speed, but instead was able to teleport. That meant Yuurei could beat him in speed, which was why he had relied on his ability to be fast over anything.

There were times where he needed to escape and his speed had been the source of why he was still alive. He had walked over to Flick as he figured that the man would need to be touching him and Cleia to make this possible. When he got close enough he looked over to Boss and smiled. ”It was really nice to meet you guys in this...well boring town. I’m ready whenever she is ready Flick,” he announced as he stood there waiting.

Cleia couldn't help but smile slightly at Yuurei's humble response. He obviously was not the kind of person who liked drawing attention to himself, unless he was lying about it, though that wasn't likely. He must have achieved a feat, for him to have showed up in the magazine, despite his attempts to do otherwise. Well, reporters were the same everywhere; once they found a tidbit of information regarding a particular person, their victim had no say in how he wanted his public life to turn out.

In response to her question, Bro stated that there was no really quick way to get back to the terminal, but it seemed that Flick had another option. Teleportation. That was probably the reason he was able to come up suddenly behind them, back when they were hiding on the stairs and trying to listen in on the treasure hunters' conversation. Such a thing, to Cleia, seemed as dangerous as it was exciting. She believed that it was something that could easily kill the caster as well as the targets, if they were not careful. But of course, she had no need to fear, for she was not among enemies; that much had been ascertained.

"Teleportation it is, then," she asserted, agreeing with Yuurei's decision. "I'm ready, Mr. Yuurei."

She turned to Bro. "Well, I'm glad we met, Mr. Bro, even though circumstances didn't seem so benign. I hope we meet later, and by then, you have your Eye of Purple Moon. And, Misters Tom and Tom, a pleasure, too. Hopefully, you've learnt your lesson on why snatching stuff that isn't yours isn't good."

She finally turned to Flick. Mr. Flick?...

... and all was well that ended well. Bro smiled and gave a hearty bow to each of their salutations, saying in reply when they were done: "Yeah. Good to make your acquaintances."

The smaller Tom gave an apologetic bow of his own, while the taller one nodded. "Well, stay safe and Godspeed."

Flick cracked his knuckles and stepped forward, to where Yuurei and Cleia were standing together. He held up his right hand, then pointed at the ground, and a ring slowly formed around the three of them. He looked at them with a mischievous grin.

"Don't hold your breaths. Seriously."

Then he clenched his fist. What Yuurei and Cleia would see was the effect of the lights winking out abruptly, and then back on just as fast. Only this time, the lighting did not come from pale lachryma lanterns, but from the overhead glare of the noonday sun. They would also feel their heads swim momentarily, but the feeling would pass.

"And, voila! Here we are," Flick said brightly, though he had a hand to his temple.

Yuurei smiled when she had told him that she was ready for this. Before they actually left he heard what she told each and everybody here. He smiled at her because she was scolding the Tom that stole from her. He could only laugh at that, but quickly stopped as they had spoken up to her. He just looked over to Flick as he was ready whenever he was. He was calm and he had heard the small warning that had come from Flick. He figured being relaxed would be the right thing to do and he just looked at the ground. He noticed the small ring forming around them, and knew it was happening. There was one thing that had gone through his mind and he wonder if this was some form of light magic. He knew there was no way he could do something like that, but it was indeed nice to witness.

Yuurei noticed the flash appearing in their eyes. He could see that they were hit by light from above and when he looked it was the sun. He just smiled because it actually worked. He grabbed his head though as he figured that something like this would happen. He wasn’t use to teleportation just yet, but knew he would though. His guild had provided him a magic that allowed him to do just that and in the same speed that Flick probably had done when he was alone. He shook his head though as it was a great experience and he knew what to expect when he ever needed to use it. The pain in his head wasn’t that bad and he was now mentally prepared for this.

The young man looked over to Cleia and then towards Flick who was placing his hand onto his temple. It seemed like this had a lot of a power to it. He figured it would, if he was transporting two people plus himself. He chuckled as it wasn’t that bad. ”I guess we are. Takes a lot out of you when you transport two other people as well,” he paused as he shook his head again. ”I guess we are here though. It was nice meeting you Flick. I hope we do meet again,” he said with a smile on his face. He looked over to Cleia as he figured they were both going in the same direction. He actually wasn’t sure just yet. ”So where are you planning on heading to Cleia?” he asked her.

The speakers that were built threw out the buildings had started speaking so everybody around them could hear. ”The train departing to Magnolia will be leaving in five minutes. The train departing in Magnolia will be leaving in five minutes,” it had gone silent after that as he knew that he was going to get ready to go home in a few soon.

It was a very strange experience, something that Cleia was sure she'd never felt before. She had actually been teleported once, back then in the dark days of the Demon Invasion, but that teleportation was a little more seamless than Flick's. The backlash of the sudden transportation was a little overwhelming for her, and she had to close her eyes and hold out her hands to steady herself from tottering.

"Okay... that was... wow!"

She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the ground. It wasn't moving, which was a good thing. That meant her head had stopped swimming. She had to squint though, because of the sudden change in lighting, but that was okay, because her eyes could easily adjust to that. She heard Yuurei talking about the teleportation taking its toll on Flick, and she noticed that Flick was also holding his head, like he had a light migraine.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Flick, and sorry for the inconveniences," she said to him. "I suppose here is where we part ways. So, as I said to your colleagues, I wish you all the best in your endeavors."

She gave him a light curtsy and looked at Yuurei, as he was asking her where she was going. In response, she shrugged and replied, "Magnolia, I suppose. I'm supposed to be headed in a more South direction, but I need to head home and prepare for the journey."

The public address systems blared out information: the Magnolia train had not yet departed. In fact, the Fairy Tail mages were just at the terminal in the nick of time. It was a good thing they hadn't come back the way they'd gone, else they would have missed the train.

"I guess that's our chariot out of this place," Cleia said as she looked at the train into which passengers were already filing. "Today was surprisingly fun, wasn't it?"

She began to walk towards the train, and as she did so, she asked Yuurei, "So, are you going to spend time in Magnolia, or like myself, are you just stopping by?"

The interior of the train was understandably cooler than outside, and the carriages were not over-populated, promising a peaceful and comfortable journey, provided nothing out of the ordinary happened.

Life was all about "out-of-the-ordinary" events, but that's what made it colorful...

... Flick watched the duo as the would embark on the train, offering them a salute as they left. Then he smiled, pointed at the ground, clenched his fist, and was gone in a flash of subtle light.

Yuurei waited for a response from Cleia and she had did so. It seemed like she was going back home to Magnolia before she headed anywhere else. There was something she needed to do in the South of Fiore, which he didn’t know why she would be going there. Still, it wasn’t his business to interfere, so he just nodded with a smile on his face. He was happy that she would at least tell him that much. ”Well we made it on time, or just a new one had made its stop here,” he said to her bringing that idea into her head. He was happy to have met her though and they were finally able to leave this place now. He was actually happy that he was going to leave here. This town wasn’t a place for people like him and Cleia to live in. Well not in their current condition as being mages. It was too quiet and plain that he would have died living here.

”Yeah I enjoyed my time with you Cleia. I didn’t think we would get to learn about something that exist in this world. It seems like every day is actually a mystery. Still, I hope you got the map you wanted,” he smiled at her as he entered the station as he was walking towards the train. He couldn’t wait to sit down and be able to relax. There was a trip ahead of them, which he knew he could sleep and just forget about the things that were around the two. He looked over to Cleia as she had asked him a question. He looked up to the ceiling of the building as they were right in front of the train now. ”I don’t know what I’m going to do. It all depends on what happens when I get to the guild. The master usually always has me doing stuff around Fiore,” he rubbed the back of his head as he said the truth.

He had made his way inside of the train now as he had felt the cool air inside. It felt good to be in here as he could feel the breeze circulating throughout the cart. He just took a seat as the place wasn’t populated with people, which was nice to see. Yuurei just laid back as he sighed as if his day was over now. ”Well I wonder what is going to happen when I get home,” he whispered to himself hoping nothing bad would happen.
