Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Skills & Disciplines

Street Fighting - This is not any sort of refined or complex fighting style. What Raygin learned from spars with his father was not any sort of detailed fighting style, rather he taught the young boy to fight like a brawler. When fighting, Raygin generally uses jabs and kicks complemented by grappling techniques. He is by no way a master, but he is still able to take care of himself if he needs to fight.

Survival Training - Having been raised in the wilderness all his life, Raygin is proficient in being able to survive on the outdoors.He knows what plants are safe to eat, how to cook certain animals to make them edible with nothing more than a cooking fire and some herbs, how to dress wounds and navigating terrain. He's a handy person to have with you if you're ever stuck in the wild. His sense of smell is oddly high for a normal mage, using it hunt down animals that he has been stalking.

Tough Stomach - Raygins stomach is...something else entirely. To even call that organ organic would be a understatement, as his stomach seems to be made entirely of steel. Ray is able to eat the most disgusting and vile things and be perfectly fine. Foods other people find disgusting he finds fine. Sweet, sour, hot, cold, anything can be eaten.

Techniques: (2)/2

(Moldy Explosion) - (1)
Type: Offensive
Range: Melee
Effect: This is the primary use of the Mystery Mold magic, the one used most commonly by the Sakubara family Mold Mages. The focus of this technique is to get the Mold covering Raygins body onto the enemy somehow. This can either be done by touching the environment and letting the fungus spread on it, or to come into contact with the enemy with the fungus, as activation of this technique causes the magical fungus to grow atop Raygins skin either on his entire body or on select areas. Once touched, the fungus will immediately spread onto the foreign surface and begin to grow. Each post the Mold will increase in half its current size, for a total duration of two posts. At the end of this duration, two posts, the Mold will violently and suddenly explode. The only warning being the Mold suddenly changing its color to become red and sizzling. The explosive damage will be nothing more than superficial, considering the spell rank. This technique has a two post cool down following the explosion. Trying to remove the fungus is rather difficult, as physically touching it with ones hands or tools will cause it to spread onto whatever it is growing on. Instead, the only weakness of the mold is the direct application of fire. Fire kills the mold instantly and causes it to become useless. At its current rank, Moldy Explosion cannot spread to anything but one foreign surface at a time.

(Moldy Rifle) - (1)
Type: Offensive
Range: 10 Meters
Effect: The first ranged ability of the Mystery Mold magic. Activation of this technique causes the mold covering, or creating mold, on one of Raygins arms to become rather "thick" and "soup" like, making it into a semi-liquid mass of mold. Then, by throwing a punch at an opponent or structure or in a direction the mass will fire off from Raygins arm like a bullet. It then splats against something and stays there. The mold attaches to the person or object and remains there for its Duration of 3 posts, before exploding with superficial damage. Unlike the Moldy Explosion technique, mold created or used with the Moldy Rifle does not grow in size every post. This technique also needs a 2 post cooldown following its use.Trying to remove the fungus is rather difficult, as physically touching it with ones hands or tools will cause it to spread onto whatever it is growing on. Any abilities regarding your magic you mention in the magic description are determined by techniques. So if I was you I wouldn't bother mentioning specifics, just for the sake of keeping the magic description more concise.

These:

"So, what is that Mysterious Mold does? Once a mage has perfected the training to acquire this magic, they are then able to produce the fungus all over their body at will.The mold covering Raygins body is not by any means poisonous, it is in fact something else. But first lets address a few properties the fungus itself has. When this mold comes into contact with anything, save for Raygin himself, it spreads onto whatever it was that has been touched nearly instantly. The mold is incredibly fast growing so it is able to self replicate itself instantly. When in contact with something else, like the environment or another person, it is still incredibly fast growing and latches on easily and instantly. Each post the mold grows in twice its current size, spreading across whatever it is that has become its new host. The mold itself is physically impossible to get off, as touching it will cause it to instantly spread and grow onto whatever it has come into contact with.

Mystery Mold is actually a timed explosive, primed when removed from Raygins body, as the magic inside his body had kept it docile. After three posts of growing they explode with a force equal to the combination of Raygins Strength and Magic skills, but is treated as Strength. These explosions are devastating, being able to blow apart the bodies and deal fatal injuries to opponents who have been marked. The mold itself is near impossible to get off, as simply touching it causes it to spread onto the hands or weaponry of whatever has touched them. Of course, the more of the mold someone has on them the more powerful the explosion is. As there body continues to be covered in the mold, it stands to reason that the explosion will obviously be bigger and deal much more damage to a wider area. There is also the fact that Raygins explosions generate a lot of heat, 587 degrees Fahrenheit to be exact."

As powerful as the Mystery Mold magic is, it does in fact have a weakness.Fire serves as the Achilles heel of Mystery Mole. Applying fire to the mold causes it to die, the specific portion that is being burnt however. The only mold that is killed is what pieces that fire itself is touching, but the person also runs the risk of burning themselves while getting the mold off. Only fire itself works, not heat or lasers of any kind. Just fire. The mold isn't flammable so fire wont spread across it, it's simply the direct application of it. This means that against Mages capable of using Fire, Raygin is at a tremendous disadvantage.

I would cut back on these paragraphs and make them much shorter. Basically say "the slime is able to rapidly grow and explode while producing heat. And including a weakness to fire" Because there isn't much point in going into so much detail, as the level of detail you included in those three paragraphs as well as the information contained should be included in techniques.

Speaking of techniques:

Are you sure you only want one rank one technique? You could easily get a second rank one tech.

Give moldy explosion a two post cool down.

And damage of spells isn't equal to the rank of the spell. According to the wound guide, which is here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Fairy_Tail_Guild/single/?p=580594&t=4812080 , your technique would do superficial damage.
But in the future do please refer to the wound guide.


(Moldy Rifle) - (1)

If you want a knock down effect it would be based on strength, but not the different between strength. Say "if the target has less than ten strength they are knocked down"

And again, the damage rank issue crops up. So make the explosion superficial damage. Also as Moldy rifle is a single projectile you could bump it up to 15 meters range.

"while if the Strength behind the firing is 10 points higher than his opponent he can knock them over"

this cannot be accepted, as it gives the possibility to knock 100 str chars with a rank 1 tech if you decided to never rank it up

knockdowns and other effects that pin down or force actions by other chars require a fixed limit, at this rank you could only knock down chars with 10 or less str, going up by rank to a max of 100 at rank 10.

That was what moon tried to explain you before, i guess you missread it.
