Arc link Much changed for Syeena since she been here last. She joined Grimore Heart. Traveled around a bit. She even got stronger at her magic. With her trusty feline companion and familiar on her shoulder, she returned home. Poinsettia, the city of flowers, trees and natural beauty. Out of all the cities, it was one that held great natural beauty. The entire town was infused with the natural landscape of trees and plants. This was Syeena's home town. One would of thought it was odd for someone allied with Grimore heart to be from a town so close to Blue Pegasus, the light guild. But there was another reason why she lived in Poinsettia for such a time. After all her trials and missions, she felt she could pay her family a visit. Back at the cathedrial where she was raised. Unafraid, Syeena walked down the street in her usual attire. In reality, there were many people around Poisenttia that were dressed in sorcerer and sorceress capes and cowels. They wouldn't notice her as she was now, wearing her robe, skirt, and such. The Grimore Heart Tattoo on her thigh-- maybe that would cause attention but she kept her footing quick and moved along. Even if someone did notice, she would be gone before they could get a better look at her legs. And on her shoulder, was her faithful friend and familiar, the black Exceed cat Hex. The cat wore a witch's hat and paw gloves with claws at the end. An unique cat indeed. "Nice call going to visit home after the holiday craziness," Hex commented, partly relived that Christmas was over and all the jazz from the holidays. The cat was a pretty big scrooge during that time. Still, while Syeena was happy to be in her home town, she had many reasons to return. One of them-- to see her family. Thing was, her family was no traditional family. As she and Hex strolled down the less busy part of town, little did Syeena know that her guildmates would be nearby. Odin happened to have another unbearably slow day on his hands with nothing more than exploring the city to do, having spent the first day here exploring the bars and coming across a strange girl. Today, he wasn't entirely sure what to do, considering that he had already checked out some of the bars, found the disappointing truth about butterbeer, checked out a few noteworthy shirts in shops that weren't nearly big enough to fit the brute, and scared a vast number of families in the city. It was a shame that people hadn't already accepted his appearance as a bear, but there was no doubt that his origins was a concept far from natural in the viewpoint of most Fioreans. He had simply found a bench to sit on, taking up nearly the entire bench in his slouched sitting. While it wasn't too uncomfortable of a seat, it certainly didn't have the proper fitting for someone as large as him. Not much support in the back, pitiful little armrests, and a slight curve in the wood where he was sitting. He propped himself up so that he was able to relax, watching the ongoings of the streets until he had long since fallen asleep. Even though he didn't have a clue, it seemed as if he'd become a part of something far more exciting than a bear nap today, but at least he found a great way to skip forward to the fun. What would today provide? He dreamt of all kinds of possibilities, knowing they likely wouldn't be a reality, but it certainly was entertaining. |

At this point, Syeena and Hex journeyed through the shadowy alleyway and into a part of town which was the oldest part of Poinsettia. It was stone buildings where trees had overgrew around it. It was as if you walked through the city and suddenly found yourself lost in an enchanted wood. In truth, it was just the more rural part of town. Nature mages came here to cultivate the plant life and some were even more willing to come here for religious reasons. "You think the guild will mind you just dropping out and going on your own. Grimore Heart seems to be picky about what you do. " Hex warned, knowing they left suddenly to return home. Syeena just brushed a hand through her long black hair as they walked through a grove of tree-buildings and soon entered a shaded area of the city. "I didn't join Grimore Heart to be their bitch, in every sense of the word. They won't complain if I am gone for a bit. Besides, I never did tell my aunts how it all went. They encouraged me to join Grimore Heart" she explained. After getting through the mass of leaves and trees, they soon discovered their destination. Inside a shaded grove was a large gothic style cathedral. Sunlight shined upon it but with all the branches and trees it was obscured from sight. Gothic design was there, but there were also sacred feminine and even styles of Celtic design mixed into the architecture. As the two approached the church down the path, worn away by time and nature, they could see the windows of the stain glass, glistening. "Home sweet home," Hex said with a smile as she tilted her cute witch's hat. However, before they ventured too far into the rural part, something caught Syeena's eye. Sitting on a nearby bench was a strange person. A giant-like person who APPEARED to look like a bear. "What in the world is that?" Syeena asked, never seeing such a creature before. Curious as a cat, Hex quickly hopped into the air and spread her black-exceed wings. The little cat fluttered down the ally way and made her way to the bench. She saw the bear seeming to be asleep or dreaming. The cat hovered softly before its face. "It sure looks like a bear..." the cat said casually, then softly poked it in the nose as if to try and softly wake it with its paws. "Ellloooooo? wake wakey? Did you get lost in the Hundred Ache Woods? " Hex said, trying to invoke a responce from the sleepy bear. Syeena could only grimace. This would not end well for the cat. |

Odin felt a slight tremor in his dreams, almost as if some otherworldly force was trying to awaken him from the current highlight of this lame day. He tried to fight it with the urge to stay fast asleep, though it wasn’t with much success. Once something or someone had attempted to awaken a person, they usually had two responses, both of which triggered a certain amount of brain activity. Unfortunately for Odin, it was a bit too much and even if he pretended he was out cold, he’d be wasting his own time. He yawned, releasing an overwhelming roar for anyone close, then stretched his palms outwards. Hopefully, the cat wouldn’t be directly in its path, but it wouldn’t hurt him if it did, merely push and/or scare the feline companion. He opened his eyes, swiveling so that he could sit up on the bench. He looked towards the two individuals that had victimized him and trespassed on his sweet dreams, but they didn’t seem like anyone that had any particular need or dependence upon him. One was a black cat hovering near him, while the other was a young lady that obviously wasn’t responsible for what had happened to him. If the cat was still close to his face, he’d swat at it with little effort, “What is your problem?” He nodded his head once towards the stranger, guessing that perhaps she was going to be of help, “Hey there, is this little pest yours?” He didn’t have a problem with the concept of them waking him of for a few questions about direction or asking for his help, but if they were just doing it to be a pain in his side, then he’d have to put some sense into them. Well, the cat at least, the lady probably didn’t have any part in the troublesome situation. Probably. |

Syeena stayed away from the bear-- knowing full well the big guy was strong. Hex, the little aggitating devil she pretended to be, would still hover and pester the sleeping bear. Syeena sighed, knowing what was going to happen. Hex was lightly pawing the bear's face till suddenly he did wake up and attempted to swat the flying cat away. Hex, the FEMALE agile cat easily fluttered right under his swipe and looped in the air. She was now over him, but still hovered out of reach. "Mrreow! Ello, sleepy head!" the cat said playfully. She tipped the edge of her witch's hat that she wore, the slits of the hat allowing her cat ears to be seen. The bear soon after lashing at Hex, turned to Syeena. Syeena genuinely reacted cautiously, appearing a bit nervous to the awake bear. However, the fact it spoke made her relax. It was not a wild animal, and greatly intellegent. Not the strangest thing the witch had seen. She put a hand on her hip and sighed. "Unfortunately, she is. Sorry about her. She is... well curious," she said, putting it mildly. Any cat is curious, hence the little term of 'curiousity killed the cat'. "And a handful to deal with. I'm Syeena. Nice to meet you. Um.. forgive me asking, but are you lost yourself? You are a bit of a rarity in this city." she asked . Hex once more hovered above the bear, her black wings keeping her high enough. "Silly ol bear. This ain't the hundred acre woods. " she snickered . Syeena rolled her eyes and this time she herself swatted at the cat, trying to get her to behave. "She is an aquired taste. But yes, what are you doing here? I don't mean to be rude, but I never seen a person like you before," she asked. In all honesty, she found him to be very cute. It was hard to not want to hug the white bear. |
