Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

Ranth had time to 'tsk' as Michael used his guns as makeshift rockets to ,propel himself out of the way of the large bema of light and then fired again to send him towards Ranth's position back on the ground. Due to the fact that Michael's speed was derived purely from the power of his guns explosion, he moved far slower than he would have if he was able to move under his own power, but rather than dodge, Ranth realised that Suijin was also coming at him using his dragon roar as a means of propulsion and although the men were moving at drastically different speeds, but they were going to reach him at almost the same time with Michael getting there a fraction of a second before him.

So Ranth did the only sensible thing and threw up his guard and took the hit, which sent him flying backwards and sent Michael into a wild spin as a result of Ranth's still active anti gravity technique. At which point Suijin's attack which had been meant for Ranth collided with Michael instead. Of course, Ranth could only take a small amount of satisfaction from the collision because Michael's attack had hurt despite his guard and the force had sent him crashing through the second story window of a shopping mall.

Groaning as he got to his feet in the midst a hail of broken glass, Ranth inspected himself for injuries and found that besides a number of cuts and scratches from his passage through the window he was more or less fine. His arms were aching from where Luffy's kick had connected but all things considered Ranth decided he was in no position to complain about this state of affairs. But he didn't rush to rejoin the fray as he considered his next move. Until his gravity technique wore off, Michael would be limited to move as quickly as his guns could propel him, which was a far cry short of how fast he had proven he could move with the aid of his technique.

So in that sense, Ranth's best chance would be to strike now while he was at a disadvantage. However, if he was to face Michael then he was also going to have to deal with Suijin's interference and that was just the kind of headache he didn't need right now. "Sometimes I wonder if his techniques were worth it", he sighed with a touch of bitterness. Fuck it, he decided firmly. If they wanted to double team himmake it easy on them. They could come to him and when they did... he 'd drop a building them. Because that was totally normal, right?

Jogging further into the building, Ranth chuckled grimly as a plan began to form inside his head...

"This anti-gravity shit is starting to get on my nerves!!" Suijin growled, a moment of his lost cool as he was now getting angry with this repetitive battle!

Just as he thought his attack would hit the smug bastard of Ranth, the Grimore Heart mage dodged via the gravity and slid out of the path of the attack. Unfortunately, Suijin couldn't stop his momentum and his attack was heading right for Michael. (Damage hit unless Michael does something to at least prevent the attack) .

"Grr, sorry!" Suijin said, pushing himself off Miachel. He hated being THAT close to a guy that way-- and glared up at Ranth and his latest insult. It took a lot to get under Suijin's skin but this guy had a natural talent for it. He just kept insulting him, and saying his abilities were now not worth stealing. Still, Suijin intended to keep with his plan. He was not about to give him any more ammunition.

Literally. He had already a few of his spells and he was not about to use any big ones that he knew he could copy-- unless it was to deliver a finishing blow. With a glare to Michael, he thought about a possible plan. "Sorrya bout before, but how about a temporary truce to mop the floor with this bastard?" Suijin offered to Michael.

Hopefully he would accept his offer.

Either way, he was not about to let this bastard have his way! "To hell with you!" Suijin swore and inhaled once more. "Water Dragon TIDAL ROAR!!" Once more he unleashed the massive blast of water from his mouth, going everywhere in a violent flood towards Ranth. If nothing else, it would obscure his vision-- giving Michael an opening to attack.

THe enemy of his enemy was his friend for now.
Elsewhere...

Vector was in the nearby casino and the people inside were oblivious to the damage and carnage occurring outside. He was at a big wheel machine, placing bets on numbers to collect a massive jack pot that everyone was putting in. The little crocodile put all his money for his bet on number 23, and hoped it would land on it.

"Alright, here is the big spin!!" the announcer said and pulled the lever! The wheel suddenly began to spin wildly and everyone watched in anticipation.

The crowd watched as the wheel spun, and after about a minute or so, it began to slow down. "Come on, lucky number 23! Daddy croc need a new pair of sneakers!" Vector cheered, hoping the wheel would stop.

And it was close, It slowed down, taking one round at 23 and kept going. It was going... going... slowling down as it was numbers away from 23 again. It was crawling down, a few stoppers away from landing. Vector's eyes winkled with dollar signs as he saw his number was innevitable...

CRASH!! WHOOSH!! A sudden explosion of water ripped through the nearby wall. The aftermath of Suijin's Tidal Roar! THe water rushed into the casino and caused everyone to freak out. People ran as the water came in and as a result, flushed through the attractions and games.

As people fled, Vector was mortified frozen as he looked at the game he was watching. The flash flood had completely destroyed the wheel, right when it was about to land on his number. At first, he was like a statue. Then, the dollar signs in his eyes cracked and crumbled away in shards of gold in front of him. His jackpot dreams had just shattered. "COME ON!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" the crocodile cried out.

Curious, he looked out of the giant hole that was now in the casino. Curious as to what was going on, he went to see what caused the flood. The odd sight of people floating in thin air was strange, but soon saw Suijin and the others fighting. A glum look crossed Vector's face. "Figures..." he said.

(Technique used like before. Rank 5 Water Dragon Tidal Roar-- too late and lazy to post full effect but you should know what it does. )

Michael had successfully managed, finally, to hit Ranth. Even if he was able to block the kick Michael had delivered, the Raven Tail enforcer waas strong enough that his opponent would feel that attack. Suijin tried to continue his attack on Ranth but alas, to no avail.

The gravity was troublesome and made him spin out of control, so while he was still spinning while touching the ground, he stomped the groud, creating a whole on the ceiling that would enable him to stay in place. Recovering from the dizziness in mere seconds, he scanned the area to see where his two opponents were.

Ranth had escaped to give himself a breather (or a strategy, since he was not as stupid as Michael thought) and Suijin seemed to want to absolutely kick that man's house. So Michael did the logical thing.

Nothing.

In actually, it was a bad idea simply because his spell would soon run out. However, watching the other two fight each other might help see something. That, or they would beat each other. So he simply onserved from afar, his foot stuck in the ground, hoping this gravity spell would stop at some point soon.

He also readied his guns. You never know.

Ranth was strong, but Michael was stronger and with his gravity spell about to wear off he absolutely didn't want to find himself in anything even remotely resembling a fair fight with the Raven Tail mage. To complicate matters further, Suijin's presence was a hindrance that did nothing to help the situation. He really couldn't afford distractions right now and with Suijin's declaration for a truce put the odds well and truly against him.

Well, Ranth wasn't entirely out of options just yet and he was woefully disappointed in his inability to force more than one technique from the Raven Tail mage. Was this all that his accumulated strength was good for? It was truly irksome, but now wasn't the time to lose his cool as he ascended the multi-story shopping centre that towered over most of the city. With over a dozen stories, Ranth might have taken several minutes to reach the top using conventional means...

But conventional was rarely at the top of Ranth's modus operandi and instead he simply fired a blast of moonlight directly upwards, creating a hole that connected his floor with the ones above and then he had only to activate the ring hanging around his neck in order to rise to the top floor in a matter of seconds. With his archive analysis still active he could easily detect the enormous magical signature that was Michael and the smaller one that was largely overshadowed by proximity that was Suijin.

For now they didn't seem to be pursuing him, which was a pleasant enough change. Now on the roof of the enormous building, Ranth didn't need to approach the edge in order for his archive vision to grant him information on his enemies whereabouts, which was nice as he had a feeling that he'd have to deal with pot shots from the gunslinger as he did so. But also knowing full well that Michael could see him as well meant that this was a waiting game and for once, time was on his side and he was more than content to use whatever time his opponents were willing to give him to prepare.
