OOC: From here on out, if we could all include our techniques used in a spoiler at the bottom of each post that would be super handy (for obvious reasons). Ranth sighed as Suijin began his attack, but it was a haughty gesture intended to rile him up rather than anything else. But as he prepared to react to the attack, something bright came into his peripheral vision and Ranth couldn't help but turn his eyes towards it and saw a man, or the silhouette of one at least as the magic radiating from within was so strong that Ranth had to consciously adjust his analysis to dull the blaze so he could get a good look at who was in possession of that much raw magical power. But he had a feeling he already knew. As Ranth looked on, the man raised two weapons, one of which he pointed towards Suijin and the other towards Ranth and then fired two shots in the direction of the rambunctious Dragon Slayer in an impressive display of marksmanship that created an explosion that cancelled out the attack and brought Suijin's charge to a screaming halt. "Oh don't mind him, you know how those Tartaros folk can get carried away", Ranth said flippantly. "Anyway, I'd appreciate it if you didn't lump me together with that lout", Ranth continued, "I came here looking for you... Michael Walker". Technically it was a guess, but Ranth felt confident that there weren't very many people in the city or hell, the country with as much magical power as this man had and so who else could this man have been if not the quasi- legendary Raven Tail mage, returned to Fiore after no small amount of time abroad. "I've heard about you and I came to see if you lived up to the hype", Ranth said gleam in his eye. As he spoke, the air around him began to distort visibly before six distinct to 'crescents' of distorted air erupted from the air around him and made a beeline for the man he suspected be Michael Walker. Each 'blade' of air was roughly 70 centimetres long and while two of them headed straight for Michael, two more veered off to the left and the remaining two veered off to the left before arcing inwards for a near simultaneous attack of two blades from the front, two blades from the left and two blades from the right. It was a powerful spell, but in this instance Ranth knew that a powerful spell was the minimum requirement for not only getting Michael's attention but also to goad him into fighting fire with fire, or to be more accurate... magic with magic. It was clear that the man was fond of his weapons and they packed quite apunch based on his demonstration against Suijin, but Ranth hadn't come here for a gun fight... Technique Used

Michael wasn't very pleased by the amount of destruction the water mage had brought into his city. He was also a little irked by the presence of the blond man just loitering there, while he was the target of that man's assault. Michael definitely felt the presence of another person around these parts (Kentaro), but to his understanding, he wasn't going to do anything... yet. Hell if he knew. He made a mental not of this person, but he needed to focus on the water mage (supposedly a dragon slayer) and the blond man. The blond man (Ranth) stated that Tartaros mages were usually flamboyant. He had to agree. They were like the illegal version of Fairy Tail. He then stated that he wasn't with that man, and that he came looking for him specifically. By name. This raised a huge flag. Michael had kept his identity under wraps so well, but for someone like that random man to know his true identity... He had made a dozen guesses in his head. Eric Bashere. Noel Aramis. Ranth Amanite. Sion Ciladion. Hasaki Ryo. Larkin Falzo. Aiden Vakarian. Mages and knights with famous and infamous status, high enough in the hierarchy of their th organizations to be shared this kind of information. This man wasn't just anyone it seemed. Michael hated the fact that he didn't know who he was. "Hmph," Michael said, "You know my name, but I do not know yours. Common courtesy seems lost on you." The blond seemed interested in a bout with Michael. "I'm not interested in petty squabbles with any of you," he said. "Just get out of my city." Nope. A spell was sent his way. Six blades of air, two in the front, two to his left and two to his right. The Raven Tail mage sighed. He twirled his two guns and, without much of an effort, he quickly intercepted the wind blades by shooting six bullets towards them with scary speed and accuracy. This time, they didn't explode; they simply canceled out the blade in a small burst of magic. Showing no signs of slowing down, defying the laws of gravity, Michael ran up the building the blond man was on, firing two shots towards him and landing on the rooftop. Spoiler: click to toggle

Nothing would of made Suijin happier than to tear the smirking head from Ranth's body. His attacks would of done some good damage-- except for being rudely interrupted by gunfire. The two bursts of bullets shattered Suijin's water attacks into bits of just... well , water. At that time, another gun shot sounded. However, Suijin was well on his guard and his magic responded in kind! A coil of water, taking the shape of a water dragon spun around Suijin and intercepted the shot from the bullet, minigating any damage Suijin would of taken, but more than enough to cause him skidding a few feet away. Water Dragon Coil Guard Irritated, Suijin looked to see who interrupted the fight. He was glaring at a white haired person holding two hand guns, one pointed at him and the other at Ranth. It was a clear that neither guy was welcomed by this stranger. Suijin looked at the damage he did, then to the man-- then shrugged his shoulders. "You kidding? If they couldn't handle a little water like that, then its their own damn luck," Suijin scoffed. He had a very 'law of the jungle' attitude on life. "Nothing personal against you. My ownly issue is with blonde here," Suijin said . Clearly the fight between them all was about to cause trouble! Right now, however, Ranth was quick to respond to the attack by the gunslinger, and left Suijin with an opening. WIth his claws now out, Suijin extended both to form one large claw attack of water-- aimed at Ranth while he was targeting the Raven Tail mage. He had no issue with the Raven Tail character, but he had less love for Ranth of all people. Water Dragon Claws Single shot used so not to be shot by bullets on Ranth.

Ranth had wanted Michael's attention and he'd certainly appeared to have gotten it as the man shot down each of his wind blades with a singe shot. A troublesome pair of weapons, that was for certain as he'd not witnessed at least two different variations of bullets fired from the guns and who knew what other surprises they held in store. But before Michael had even begun his charge, Suijin ha already recovered from being shot down and was coming after Ranth again with a vengeance. "You just never learn, do you!?" Ranth growled as he leaped backwards and into the air in order to avoid the elongated claws. This would appear to have left him as a sitting duck for Miachel's attack as he ascended the building and fired two shots in the process, but rather than hanging suspended in the air at the top of his arc, Ranth kept going as he shot into the air with greater speed than he could have achieved otherwise and the bullets flew through the air where he should have been had he not possessed the power of flight. "I can see why they call you the gunslinger", Ranth acknowledged as he floated ten metres away ad ten metres above the rooftop upon which Michael now stood. "Unfortunately...", he continued "...I'm afraid that I didn't bring any guns to this gun fight..." he shrugged apologetically. But though his tone was forlorn, his eyes sparkled with amusement. "Perhaps's you'd allow me to borrow yours?" Ranth asked with a grin as his eyes began to glow and in his hands two pistols that looked exactly like Michael's appeared in a flash of light. "You might not be interested in a petty squabble, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to indulge me", Ranth smiled as he created two sets of ten bullets, modified through his magic to fit into the barrel of his forged guns. He couldn't copy the ability of the guns to create their own ammunition, but it was a problem Ranth was unniquely equipped to work around as he pointed the fully loaded guns so that one was pointed at Michael and the other at Suijin, who seemed determined to hinder him until the bitter end in this little scuffle. Michael was a little irritated that his shots kept either missing or being so easily blocked. He twirled his guns, checking their weights and feeling the magic pulsing inside. No, the pistols were not the problem, and Michael would die before his own aim became the problem. Which could only mean one thing. His opponents were much better than he anticipated. Well, "much better" was a bit of a stretch. He could feel their mana, the magic inside them, and though they were tough, they weren't in his league. Not yet. The blond was definitely the stronger one, but the way the Dragon Slayer fought was very dangerous. And damaging. Then things got even more bizarre. The blond man, who floated himself away from his bullets (Michael let out a small "tsk" when he saw him float; bad memories of an enemy I guess), had created guns into his hands. And not just any guns. HIS guns. "Wind blades, flight, gun copying..." Michael looked at him and then Suijin and then laughed for a solid two minutes. "Hahahaha, a classical dark guild threeway fight?" He looked at the water mage. "Suijin of Tartaros." He looked at blondie. "Judging by what you just did, you must be an Archive Mage. A pretty decent one. For you to know my name AND use that magic... Ranth Amany... Or was it Amanite?" "Michael Walker, from Raven Tail. You entered my turf, disturbed the peace, possibly drowned a bunch of people in my city and you want to add challenging me to your sentence?" He smiled a devilish smile, his aura quieting. The assassin-for-hire was now ready. "Oh, Ranth. You might be able to copy my powers..." Swiftly, he bridged the gap in a single bound, too fast for any of them to follow, at least not without straining their powers. "...But you can't copy skill." The gun was already in Ranth's face when a bullet came flying. The explosive kind. The shock would send Michael backwards. He would use the momentum to somersault and, upside down, shoot another explosive round, but this time at Suijin. Michael was not here to play. Technique Used

"What can I say? I like to live dangerously", Ranth grinned and shrugged, his aim never wavering for even a moment. He could see this man's magic like a tangible thing and out of all the many mages he'd met, its power was dwarfed only by Eric Bashere. While Michael was content to keep chatting he could afford to appear idle, but in reality the archive mage was doing everything in his power and thinking as many steps ahead as he could not only to ensure his best chance of taking Michael's magic... but also to stay alive in the process. Which is why the moment he saw Michael's magic flare in preparation for a spell, Ranth did the only sensible thing. He started shooting. However nothing could have prepared him for the speed with which the gunslinger moved and his bullets had scarcely reached the point where his target had been standing before Michael appeared in his face. Or rather, the barrel of his gun. What happened next could be measured best in heart beats. Michael reached Ranth, his gun aimed squarely between his eyes. Ranth blinked once, his guard well and truly breached. Michael pulled the trigger and a gunshot rang out. Ranth vanished. The explosive round tore through the space where Ranth had been a fraction of a second earlier and within that same second, Ranth had reappeared where Michael had been standing immediately prior to starting his attack. At Ranth's feet were the bullets that he'd fired, four in total and all of them useless against Michael's sudden surge of speed. Once again, Ranth's magical archive had come to his aid, this time in the form of a teleportation spell that enabled him to transition in an instant between wherever he was and any item that belonged to him. In this case, that item was one of the bullets that he'd fired. But at this rate, Ranth was going to run out of tricks well before Michael ran out of bullets. For the moment, Michael's back was turned as he fired at Suijin and completed his aerial maneuver. Some may have thought that the sensible thing to do would be to unload every single remaining bullet he had at his disposal into Michael's airborne form. Others might have argued that cutting his losses and running would have been the most sensible course of action. But Ranth had tasted Michael's magic now and he could tell already that it was an excellent addition for its synergy with his own. An Archivist's greed was for magic was comparable only to a Dragon's greed for glittering gold after all. No, Michael was too fast for Ranth to hope to match him in gun play. Even if he didn't have a flight technique, Ranth had every confidence in the man's ability to simply shoot down any bullets he sent his way. What Ranth really needed was to take those stupid guns out of the equation, even if only for a short time and he had just the technique with which to do it. So without a single word uttered, Ranth released a single pulse of purple magic that expanded in all directions. This pulse expanded as a perfect sphere for a hundred metres and everything within that space would find gravity simply witched off and then lifted ten metres into the air (relative to its position when the spell began). For Michael, this meant that his aerial maneuver would leave him suspended in the air roughly anywhere from fifteen to twenty metres in the air. But simply removing gravity would not affect the way a gun operated, Ranth knew that much. But he also knew that this particular spell applied its levitation effect to anything that entered its jurisdiction during the duration. Which meant that as soon as Michael created a magical bullet, it would have its trajectory skewed as it was pulled into the air from the moment it was created. In fact, if Michael was to fire straight down at the ground, he'd find the bullet wouldn't even manage to leave the barrel of the gun and in that event, he'd be extremely curious to see if it would detonate inside the weapons he loved so much. Of course, Ranth's own guns were equally as useless now, but they'd never been more than a novelty to Ranth in the first place. But whilst Ranth's weapons were rendered useless by this spell, his magic was not as it was a part of him and Ranth allowed himself a small smile as he raised his right hand towards Michael and a glowing sphere of white light appeared and then erupted into a solid column that rocketed toward the seemingly helpless gunslinger. (Dear god I dont look for a few days and its an all out shoot-out) Suijin was really in a situation. He had no interest to pick a fight with this guy Michael. Perhaps his roar was a bit exessive in the streets but he just wanted to give Ranth a good greeting for the humiliation he had given him. But between all the bullets flying between them and at HIM-- things were getting hairy rather quickly! His water shield had soaked up much but now Ranth retalliated with bullets of his own created from his own magic. The man's magic was insane! He had almost every magic in the rainbow-- including his own. Damn, how I hate guns! Suijin swore, never finding guns worth anything. They were artless! Suijin preferred a more traditional sense of fighting-- the art of hand to hand and ninjitsu-- the type of training he had been raised with. "Damn it!" he swore as he fled and backed away-- his shield absorbing just enough of the bullets for him to duck behind a ledge of the building. He hid behind it and kept away from the gunfire! Glancing over his shoulder at the corner, he could see the hail of bullets and debris coming form the battle. It was clear that those two were on more even footing in magic, strength, and artiliary than he did. Still, Suijin had some tricks to take out. He quickly formed some hand signs and glanced over his shoulder. HOwever-- before he could start, gravity suddenly was gone. Ranth's little spell affected everything and he was lifted out of his hiding spot! He was unable to move like this as he tried to get back down to the ground but failed! Still, he weaved his hand signs and focused, casting the spell upon the battlefield. Gravity or not, this would help him. Slowly, a thick mist began to form around the rooftop and below, coating a good portion of the city block! Still in hiding Suijin resorted to his more unique skills. Stealth. While he had to wait for a golden moment of opportunity, he would attempt to cripple their sense of sight. Even if they could see through the fog-- they would have a hard time getting clear shots with their guns. Water Dragon Kirisame - Rank 5

Michael was slightly impressed by the amount of skill his opponents had, especially Ranth. He seemed more calm than he believed this man to be, and in no way, shape or form did he believe this man would be able to dodge his bullets or match his speed. He was even more irritated that the water dragonslayer seemed to dodge entirely his bullets. How fast were these guys? Anywho, Michael shook his head in disappointment though. He was looking for a challenge. He knew Ranth could give him some form of challenge since he had copued so many other techniques as an Archive mage. But what about Suijin? Surely he could show a little more backbone. Teleportation too? Well, well, quite impressive... However, unlike the other two, Michael's senses were sharp, made even sharper than most mages because of his magic. He could tell that it took almost every fiber in Ranth's being to dodge that attack. Which meant he would either try to stop Michael's charge forcibly or stall him. His eyes also noticed Suijin taking cover from all the gunfire. Suddenly, he could feel it. Before making it to the air, he felt his body feel lighter. Things around them seemed to start floating into the air. Ranth had created a field of anti-gravity, surely to put things in his advantage. Michael simply floated in the air, like a sitting duck, and he had a feeling it was some stupid spell that would let him swim in the air. He could see Ranth seemed uninterested to shoot him, which probably meant that his bullets were useless. Or were they? Mist would slowly form, but that was of no importance to Michael. His magic called his sixth sense, the power to feel the presence of any person. While he could use the real spell and locate at any time any of these schmucks, the basic sensing power he had was enough to give him an idea. Light shone beneath him ready to strike, but Michael merely smirked. He aimed one of his guns' barrel behind and focused so that an explosive bullet would be used. However, since the bullet wouldn't even leave the barrel, it would explode inside, but his guns were of the highest grade currently available; as such, when the explosion occurred, it propelled Michael forward towards Ranth in an angle at quite some speed, effectively dodging the beam of light headed his way. It would have been terrible to take that in the face... He would land next to him, but before he could react, Michael would spin and deliver a heel kick to his face. As for Suijin? Amidst the spin, Michael quickly aimed and quickshot a bullet towards the Dragon Slayer. None of them would be safe! Spoiler: click to toggle

So Suijin's mist was ineffective against this Michael fellow? Just great... Suijin didn't know how the mist affected Ranth, his real target but he had hoped it would stiffle some of the accuracy of the bullets. He was wrong. A bullet of magic power shot Suijin in the chest and he was thrown back by the force of it. By sheer luck, the bullet was not a simple projectile bullet-- it was compressed magic and thus not as lethal. But it hurt like a bitch! Suijin grunted as he was thrown through the zero-G, causing him to float away from the fight. However, he wasn't going to throw in the towl! "Water Dragon-- Tidal Roar!!" he shouted and released a roar in the opposing direction. Water erupted as propulsion so he could move in this strange area of gravity-- and made his way for Ranth once more. This time, gripping his fists-- the chains of Susanoo on his wrists glowed with electric might. Flying for that direction for Ranth, Suijin's fists suddenly erupted in a blaze of electricity, which was strange for his being a water dragon slayer. He was now fighting with lightning magic. Suijin swung his first fist to nail Ranth in the face, electricity flickering off his fists as he came in for the charge. It was chaos. Sheer bloody chaos. Magic used
