Odin was walking around town, on his two feet of course, giving a slight attempt to blend in even if it was a hopeless attempt at the best. At the very worst, he looked like a ferocious, armored animal following a terrified man in his late forties and ready to faint at any moment. Unfortunately, he attracted the typical attention and there was no real way to avoid it, unless he somehow found an illusory ring for sale. He hadn't come across one of the mythical pieces of jewelry yet, but had no plans to stop his searching. He had encountered plenty of merchants claiming to have one, but when they realized they couldn't put on some gimmicky, temporary spell on him, they always refused to do any further business with him. After having already turned high noon and his stomach was growling, Odin made his way towards the nearby Dragon's Cove Cafe. It had been known as "the cafe that could satisfy a dragon's appetite," which would be more than enough for Odin to get his fill. Once inside, he'd take a seat at one of the the tables for four, the smaller ones being a bit too small for the full meal he was about to indulge in. After having placed his order, drinking a few low content ales, and waiting for a good half hour - dinner arrived. He skimmed over what was laid out in front of him; a whole ham, a slab of rib meat, and two small bowls containing mashed potatoes and white rice. It was a lot to take in, but he was a pretty big fellow himself, weighing in at over three hundred pounds of bulk at nearly eight feet in height. Another good half hour had passed and the food would no longer be on the table, but in his stomach. He growled in satisfaction, scaring a nearby family and causing one of their children to cry, before he paid for the service and headed outside for some fresh air. It was rare for him to have such a large meal, only eating here and there whenever mother nature turned a blind eye on the wildlife he hunted. Ari didn't quite know why she had stopped in Trillium, maybe she just needed somewhere to chill out since the inquisition had taken it's toll on her. She sighed, llooking for somewhere to eat as she was hungry and she found a place called dragons cafe. The bell jingled as she pushed through the door before a pepeculiar looking person caught her eyes. She sat down at the bar, ordering a soda as she didn't yet know how alcohol would affect her demonic blood before she put on a smile for whoever it was that had caught her attention. It was a man but he looked more like a bear than a person, another half demon? She paid for the soda and approached, her eatail twitching in curiosity. "Hello." she said. |

Odin hadn't quite reached the door before he found himself being interrupted in his folly, by nothing more than a mere hello. Having his back to the source of the voice, he could make it out to be female, something incredibly unusual for the monstrous individual. Typically, they were more afraid of him than they were of murderous passersby wandering throughout the town, showing bliss in their ignorance for far greater crimes than being born as an Urzan. He turned to face the courageous newcomer, but was even more surprised when he saw the little lady. She was a mere fraction of his size and two feet shorter, yet that wasn't what first came to mind. It was the pointy things sticking out of her head, two white, fluffy ears like that of a Serval. Judging from the tail peeking out from behind, it certainly wasn't some girl cosplaying another hybrid, which truly piqued his interest, "Hey, there." Keeping in mind that she had approached him with some sort of intention, he wasn't sure what was on the tip of her tongue. She didn't seem bothered by the fact that he had scared the nearby family, that couldn't be it, "What's up?" |

The bear man certainly looked fearsome, towering over her and making her want to cower away slightly but she supposed if she could handle Rhevas, she could handle just about anyone. She grinned for a moment before noticing that he had accidentally scared a nearby family and she raised an eyebrow at them. She was lucky that she could easily hide her ears and tail beneath a hat and a pair of pants for her tail but this man not so much, his fur? Gave him away as being something other than fully human. "I suppose it's just not everyday that I meet someone with origins other than human. It's a nice change." she replied to his question. He was probably curious as to why she had approached him and she kind of had to ask herself why as well. Curiosity. Simple, genuine curiosity of this other halfling. |

Odin didn't have anything better to do than sit and talk all day, but wasn't it pretty routine to approach someone with a subject in mind beforehand? He wouldn't have cared what the matter of the subject was, so long as there was a little leeway for them to talk back and forth. Had the girl approached him just to be daring, to flirt, or to say something that she had backed out of at the critical moment? He let out a small sigh, which naturally sounded like a low, but soft, growl. He extended his hand towards her, not wanting to waste too much time on this nonsensical talk, "I'm Odin, I'd offer you a drink, but I was just on my way out." He had considered it, thinking that some company in a land that placed him in the position of an outcast would be a change of pace for the greater good. He tilted his head a bit as he shrugged before continuing, "If you don't have anything to do, perhaps you wouldn't mind taking a walk." He had no particular romantic interests in the girl, but she was pretty well covered in the looks department, though it didn't help that she tried to cover up more than necessary. He stepped outside, holding the door for the girl if she actually was interested in tagging along, "Know a good place to kill a bit of time?" |
