Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Odin walked into the bar, but not before having to crouch beneath the top of the door frame. He could hear a few gasps and sudden hushed talking, though that was all too familiar for him. He wasn't actually bothered until she heard a lady scream and take a child by her hand, running out of the bar before Odin had the chance to shrug it off. He waved his paw in the air, making some people unintentionally flinch as he did so, "Serves her right, shouldn't be bringing damned children in a place like this." The place nearly went into an uproar of mixed emotions upon hearing him speak, but once they realized that he was a intellectual being and they were talking about him in front of him, the vast majority of them had shut up. It was a disappointing fate of being far from his homeland, but it did have its advantages... The barkeep behind the counter seemed just about as stunned as the customers, never having someone like Odin happen upon his small business.

The Urzan took a seat at the counter and stared him dead in the ears, snarling after realizing the barkeep wasn't going to come back to reality without a wakeup call, "Uh, ye-yes... H-how can I... Uh, serve y-you?" Odin slammed his hand down on the counter, challenging and striking fear in the poor entrepreneur, "Give me a pint of your strongest ale. I need to take out my aggression on something, after all." Certainly, he was threatening the barkeep, but he had no intentions of harming the miserable man. In the time it took Odin to get somewhat comfy on the small seat, the barkeep had brought out some Blood Moon Spirit, "It's o-on the h-h-house..." He grabbed the glass and took a small sample of it, growling at the bold burn, then stood up. The barkeep hid under the counter, "P-please don't... Don't e-eat me..." Odin laughed, picking up the glass and tossing the contents down as he started to head towards the exit, "I have no intentions of harming you, but don't expect that to ring true if you continue discriminating your customers like this. The drink will make up for the mistake, thank you." He left the empty glass on one of the tables before making his way outside, waiting for the effects of the liquor to relax him a bit. It wasn't enough to put him in a stupor, but at the least, he would be able to enjoy exploring the city and finding something to do. It wasn't long before he was in the heart of the town, unsure of what typical attractions this town had.

Tickity tick. Tock, tock, went the old rickity grandfather clock. On the other side of the glass, red eyes peered in. Rou and Kaku were visiting Poinsettia again, though this time was not due to work. Anyone calling it a simple day of walking around to take in the city was acceptable, and right now Rou was glancing through the windows of the shops. He had stopped in front of this particular one when he started hearing those telltale chimes, and now even Kaku poked his head above the jacket's collar out of curiousity. The wood-framed clock wasn't near the window, but since it was still visible from the outside's light, Rou was also able to notice the old man now walking around it. "He must be taking a lot of care of that clock, for it to make such a clear sound," Rou mentioned once noticing the cloth in the old man's hand.

Maybe because the old man had incredible hearing, or because the window wasn't that great at blocking sound, he turned toward the window and then waved with a smile. Rou couldn't see any eyes under that shadow of a bushy eyebrow, but the mage returned the wave anyway. "Ehhhh we should get food soon," came the snake's whine, though Rou agreed and continued his walk down the street, his jacket's tail swaying accordingly. "Okay. You've been eating a lot though," Rou noted anyway. "Ssssch it's fine." Soon, the shops of material items would dwindle and be replaced by restaurants and diners.

Poinsettia was known for its Butterbeer, and though it was non-alcoholic drink, it wasn't a surprise to find more than one bar within the city because of it, even on the same main street. Neither of them liked the thought of drinking, and as they passed by it, Rou couldn't help but tune in to others' passing conversations through his headphones. Ones about movies, about food, about monsters, about dates, about regrets, about chickens, about birthdays... just about everything was a possibility on this bustling day. Kaku kept his head out along Rou's collar to make sure they wouldn't inadvertently become lost, but the white snake doubted anything could go that wrong on this one-way street.

The sudden sound of crying caught all Rou's attention. It wasn't the kind of crying one would associate with a young child, a baby, or a different animal though. Even Kaku's attention was diverted, but before either of them could find the source, someone else would call for their eyes. Nether and seals, how many gargantuans are we going to run into in this city!? ... would come the immediate reply from Kaku upon having a shadow over them before even realizing just what shape the silhouette was of.

Odin wasn't entirely sure of what to do nor where to go, having no knowledge of this place. Obviously, he had found out that the place was known for two major things; Blue Pegasus, a guild of peace loving monkies, and Butterbeer, a decent non-alcoholic drink with a very misleading name. Having paying more attention to the streets and trying to find a tourist spot to expend some time, he had not noticed the citizen fastly closing the gap between the two. Had they paid more attention, or at least one of the three parties had, then the imminent colision would have been avoided and Odin would never have noticed them. He took one further step before bumping into the stranger, "Watch where you're going bub, kind of hard to miss someone as big as me." He had no qualms with his size, for he was a considerably normal Urzan all around, but as he found out when he traveled to Fiore, humans were very picky about their weight and the like.

Odin stepped around the younger boy, placing his paw upon his head to ensure they wouldn't try to take the same path, then continued on. After putting enough distance between the two, he muttered to himself, "Kid must be blind as a bat... That'd be like me running into a damned tree." He carried on with his ventures throughout the city, making his way into small mom and pop stores, a few bars where he attempted to play some cards before scaring off the elderly men playing, as well as a big and large clothing stores. The latter of the three being a joke, carrying nothing that he would seriously consider wearing as they were all covered with Poinsetta and butterbeer advertisments. Exiting, he'd stroll along a bit more until he passed by a more classy one, that of a clocksmith. It wasn't the sight that caught his attention, but rather the sound, for a heavy tone struck out three times as it turned three o'clock. A man in the shop had approached it, placing his hand upon it as he looked down, visibly shaking from outside the window. Odin shrugged it off, it must have been the shop owner, getting some kicks from his profession.

As big as me was usually a relative phrase but... It was obvious that the other person was truly much bigger. Perhaps unnaturally big?? ... If he were fully human. But if the fur and paw-like pat on the head was anything to go by, they definitely weren't. Rou was a slow person when it came to registering such kinds of sudden things, and by the time Rou finally blinked away the sight of pure white, the stranger was gone from his sight. It was easy for the white snake to turned around to watch the large bear person walk away though. For the duo who literally shared between bodies of a human and a snake, the sight of the giant walking talking human-like bear was... It wasn't something that would shake their entire world. More than anything, it was the mere size of that person that was taking precedence of their surprise. Kaku wrongly assumed it to be an obnoxious magic. Rou just... "...You saw that?" "Huh? Well, yeah. Like he said right, kinda hard to miss him. Ssch, his entire hand paw was the size of your head! I would've started yelling if he did that to me." "Oh. Mmm. Okay."

Well... Nothing else could be done about that. There was a lot of staring from other people nearby, Rou noticed from where he was standing. It was strange to him to see the mixture of fear and relief across the faces, but just like that he kind of understood where they were coming from... albeit very rudely. Did they fear that the bear person would do something inhumane? It was easy to listen to their words, and it was easy to see their expressions. It was a plethora of hushed finger pointing and every little thing aiming toward the term "Monster". Rou and Kaku weren't even the target of such harsh calls this time, but Rou was beginning to feel second-hand discomfort. "Rou, let's go." The white snake urged in understanding. "...Yeah." Step after step led Rou back on track, but only for a short while before he turned away into a smaller pathway to take a different route. He was still thinking about it, and he wasn't just uncomfortable.

He was a little angry, and his anger was surprising him. I don't even know that person. I hadn't even noticed them. Those people are so shallow. Why? Why. In this world with so many possibilities... Rou swallowed those words away-- a part of him knowing it was silly to question people and another part of him wondering why he even had those feelings. So distracted he was, and so distracted Kaku was looming around Rou's dejected expression, that neither of them paid any mind to the person approaching. A silhouette in the shade, a whisper of a blade. The world must repeat and repeat it shall, the figure would chant. It was a silent chant, made only with his mouth yet no sound came out. No sound, no echo, and black eyes turned from yellow. Somewhere else in the city, an old man quivers. His clock struck three, then three once more. A life for a life, the old chant went, "so give back mine", the message then sent.
