Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

"Perhaps it is, but in my experience only the strong get to enjoy such rights to the fullest", Ranth shrugged casually. It was perhaps a tiny bit scary that this admission came so easily and yet didn't seem to have changed anything about the situation. Ranth was here for one thing and one thing only and no amount of philosophy or political debate was going to change that. "You can think of this as an honor if it makes it easier for you", he continued conversationally before turning his gaze to the person who wasn't meant to be there.

"I suppose it's easy to be brave when you're not in the cross hair", Ranth said slowly as he appraised the boy. As he did so, his eyes took on a faint amber glow and his appraisal took on a whole other level as he assessed not only the boy's magic but also his mind without the slightest touch of resistance. "Daine Tyfaine. A werewolf... interesting. Couldn't cut it as a knight, that's a shame but maybe it saved your life if what's about to happen is any indication", he pondered aloud as he nonchalantly delved into the boy's secrets like they were an open book... which was an apt metaphor considering Ranth's magic.

But more-so than simply to unsettle Daine, Ranth had actually been looking to see whether or not he would have to silence the young werewolf along with Rishi. But as best he could tell, the boy was concerned only with money and seemed intelligent enough not to go sharing this particular story about a blonde assassin that could read minds. As Ranth had, of course, looked into Daine's memories of his friends, families, associates, home town and current residence. If word of this got out, Ranth would know exactly whee to find the source of the leak and if Daine was halfway intelligent, he'd realise this as well.

But of course, there was no harm in giving him a little scare and without warning he reached out and seized him by the front of his shirt and lifted him so his feet were a foot of the ground and Ranth eyed him calmly. "You want to watch? Do it from over there", Ranth said and with contemptuous ease, tossed Daine into the air whereupon he arced almost gracefully through the air before landing in a heap amongst a pile of trash bags filled with an assortment of foul smelling refuse.

"For the record, I don't take any great pleasure in this so I'll do us both a favour and make it quick", Ranth said as he turned his attention back to Rishi who was already on guard. Not that it really made a difference. In what would have been little more than a blur to those watching, Ranth closed the distance between himself and the knight and grabbed the centre of the staff with his right hand and pulled sharply whilst simultaneously shoving the man in the chest with the other.

The inevitable result would be that the man would lose his weapon and be sent flying into the brick wall of one of the shops that lined the streets with enough force to at least wind the knight and at most crack ribs. This was when it would become apparent that Ranth hadn't been kidding when he spoke of ending this quickly, as he spun the staff in his hand so that he now held it like a spear, he threw it with all the force he could muster straight at the knights heart. It would take a minor miracle for the knight to escape meeting his fate at the hands of his own weapon and a major miracle to avoid being seriously injured.

Whatever happened, the spear itself would end up embedded deeply into the wall. The only question was whether or not Rishi would be skewered alive in the process.

^________^
Rishi kept his gaze on the stranger but without warning he had quickly disposed of Daine. Thankfully, he didn’t seem quite intent on killing him. Still, Rishi had to act quickly and assaulted the man, only to find himself stopped midway, his grip quickly slipping on the staff before a dangerous force had struck him in the chest. He was instantly sent across the ground and crashed to the nearby wall, almost knocking the wind out of him. His chest ached like it was crumbling within, and he tried his best to keep standing.

But all hope was robbed of him as the last he would see was the flaming light before another power force struck him on the chest dead-on. His flaming spear was thrown in full force that the full length of the blade pierced his chest and skewered him against the remains of the wall. A gurgle, a choke of his own blood, an expression of shock and uncertainty on his face... He dared to touch his staff, but his hand had been broken from the force.

Things were far torn in this area, it appeared. He knew he must tell his superiors. He knew he had to warn them. Yet, all he felt was his head slowly tilted down, his body completely giving out from strength, and a tightening on his chest as he remained standing only because the staff had properly impaled him to the wall.

A dreadful silence would carry on as blood continued to spill to on the ground. And no one would know of his fate, especially when the cleaners had arrived, dirty guards who under the influence of the city’s corrupt mayor, would watch the stranger leave before addressing to carry the body of the knight and burn it someone in the dark alleys. Best to destroy evidence after all.
