They had shaken hands and were finishing their drinks. Of course, while Syeena was playing the smug role of undercover agent, the cat had the rough job. Unnoticed by the others in the casino, the black cat had found her own entrance. She too found a duct for her to sneak around. The cat didn't like the job, but she did it anyway. "Sure... give the job of sneaking around in the tight spaces to the cat..." Hex grumbled, not liking how she had always been asked to do this. "'Oh looks like another job for Hex to go through the air duct again.' God forbid anyone else can't learn to crawl on their stomach though a tight space. Its not rocket science," she complained... ... till she found the vertical drop as well. "MRREEEOOOOWWW!!" she cried out, and ironically when she did hit the bottom, she went tumbling out and spat out of the duct-- right into Eli. The cat would see the fox girl and blinked stunned. Likely a massive hug attack would follow. Syeena and the man named Augus had finished their drink and soon, they got down to business. "So, when do we start?" she asked. Smirking, the man stood up from his seat and offered a hand to help Syeena up. She took it kindly as he led the way. "This way. To the elevator." he said as they made their way towards it. "We actually have enough time to get there before our big rally there. By now, Syeena and the cultist head got to a bank of elevators. He held out a special key card as the doors opened. He stepped inside and as Syeena walked in, he swiped the card through a reader before he pushed a bottom on the very bottom with skulls and a cross bones. The doors closed and the elevator went down. At first, Syeena would of thought it would of stopped after the second basement-- but it continued to go down. B3... B4... 5...6...7... and kept going for a bit . At some point it stopped and flashed "666" before the doors opening into a hallway. It reminded Syeena of the same type of entrance that was in Grimore Heart. Obscurely hidden and well out of sight underground. |

Ok so Emi was most likely on the cultists hideout, and since blowing up the place wasn't really an option, maybe she could sabotage the operation and force them to stop. Walking, or crawling actually, around in the ventilation ducts, Emi was trying to find somewhere she could drop down to the actual floor and hopefully find what she needs in the process. Every few meters there was a vent section that allowed Emi to see where she was, far different from the casino up top, but then again if this was as deep as she imagined then it required good ventilation, and of course while she crawled around Emi noticed a lot more vertical sections, meaning she could have fallen from any of those by accident. Eventually Emi found a room that was far away from the most active areas of that basement of sorts, although she still did not have much information about it. Well, wherever Emi was right now it was better to get out of the vents while that area was deserted. It would be awkward to be found out halfway of getting down from the vent. After getting out, Emi decided to stretch a little before actually closing off the vent again so no one found it by chance. She was in the middle of the room, stretching out to her heart's content, when she heard a noise coming from the vent. At first it wasn't very loud, but it was clear that whatever it was, getting farther away was definitely something it was not doing. So once again Emi was caught completely by surprise when she saw Hex fly out of the vent. "Kit-?", Emi started but she got hit in the face by the flying exceed before she finished, falling in the floor as a result. Having a cat in the face was not something Emi was expecting, so picking the cat off her face, Emi looked for a few instants at Hex, before confirming it was indeed Hex, and giving a breath taking hug. "KITTY! X3", Emi exclaimed with excitement, before remembering where she was and blurting out questions at full speed while shaking Hex, "Wait!Whyareyouhere?Don'ttellmeyou'reacultist!*gasp*Orademon!Pleasetellmeyouarenotademon!!!PLEEEAAASSEEEEEEE!!!!!!! At first, Hex's little tumble into Emi was quiet and the cat was about to say something-- before the fox girl hugged her like a bear! She gave a shrill little meow as she tried to shake her way out of the hug but was unable to. Then once again, the girl was talking a mile a minute, so fast it was making Hex's ears hurt. She wouldn't slow down for her to explain. It was a complete shock on Hex's end for her to literally fly into the young girl Emi's company in the middle of the cultist head quarters. Finally prying out of the girl's hands enough to wave her paws in protest, the cat spoke. "W-waitwaitwait! Don't get your tail into a knot and listen for like five seconds!" she hissed, looking around to make sure they were not overheard. "No of course I am no demon. Geez I been called that twice and I hate that. How can such a pretty cat be a demon? Anyway I am here with my friend. She is undercover pretending to be a new recruit for the cultists. Look just be cool calm and QUIET." she warned. It was at that time they could hear sounds. People from down the hall and candlelight illuminating it. It was the cultists, the ones from further underground and they were going to gather in the room where Emi and Hex were. it was their grand meeting room. "Quick, we gotta hide!" Hex said as she looked around, hoping Emi could find a place to hide in. Elsewhere, Syeena and Augus casually strolled along. Syeena had placed her hood back up, to blend in with the other cultists that she could see dotting along the hallways. The tunnels seemed to honeycomb through Trillium, and allowed people to join from all over for the meetings. They were now making their way into the cathedral like setting-- only marked by darkness and demonic statues. It was indeed a dark place, and as people came, candles they carried began to light the room. All the while Syeena kept quiet, and from under the cloak of her robes, she drew out a few of her cards, prepared if needed. |

Emi was really brewing up a storm in a glass of water, as she kept Hex in a back breaking hug. She did not want to believe Hex was a demon, and thankfully the exceed managed to calm her down by telling her exactly that, after she managed to free herself from Emi's death hug. Explaining why she was there, however, flew past Emi's mind completly as she only cared for the fact that Hex had affirmed not to be a demon. "Really? :'(", asked Emi as she dried up her own tears, then hugged Hex even harder, "OH I'M SO GLAD! X'3" Emi then heard a noise coming from the corridor outside, and Hex suggested they quickly hid somewhere. Looking around the room, Emi noticed she had yet to place the vent grid back into place, so it was possibly the best idea to take refuge back in there. "The vents!", said Emi as she released the exceed, and both of them made their way to the same hole they had basically crawled out from. Once inside Emi stretched out to pick up the grind that was on the floor, and managed to place it into position just as, however it was that was coming, entered the room. Emi looked at the people that came in, and indeed they all looked like cultists, or at least most of them were wearing the same robes she had seen in the ruins back on Wuji's Valley. However, before she could focus on the cultists, something else came to her attention. She had not had the time to bolt the grid in its place, so the only thing that was holding it to the wall were Emi's fingers, which she had retreated back to the most minimum possible contact with the grid, using just the tip of her fingers, as to avoid anyone noticing she was the holding the grid from inside the vents. Thing is, the grid was rather heavy, and although was able to hold it without any effort in a normal situation, while holding it in such precarious condition, Emi's fingers where getting tired fast. "Kitty!? 8|", Emi whispered as low as she could to Hex, before signaling the grid and her fingers with her head, "Help!? X|" |

Hex thought she would calm down... only for her to hug her with another painful back breaking hug. The cat used all her self control from scratching the fox girl. However, soon they had to hide from the cultists. They were soon hiding and out of sight... for the moment. It was then that Augus asked Syeena to be excused as she was now surrounded by the other cultists. Looking around, Syeena could see the truth of theri beings. Only a good collection of them were humans. Or rather, they were a majority of humans possessed by demons or demonic via magic. They truly were working with demons and thus the cult's origins of power. She was neck deep in it and if she was not careful, things could get ugly real quick. "Welcome brothers and sisters," Augus spoke aloud as he stood on a large platform before his followers. "We have come to unite under the glory of our lords and masters. The demons have granted us great power-- power to change the very nature of the world to our ends. NO longer will the light of false justice restrict us. We shall be freed from all opposition and oppression. We shall know true deliverance!!" The crowd erupted in cheers and some of which were snarls. Some actual real demons might be in the crowd, supporting or in human form. It was hard to say. Still, Syeena kept her cool and listened. However, back in the vents... Hex was now trying to keep the vent up with her claws and her wings now being used to flap and uphold it, but soon it was too tight for them to move and too heavy to maneuver before... WAAAH! CRASH!! Both Emi and Hex came crashing down into the gathering of cultists. One such Cultist was hit by the grate but the others around them just looked to the pair, baffled and annoyed. ALl went quiet as they realized it was intruders. "AH.... well what do you know? A couple of mice have slipped in. They will make good sacrifices," Augus said stroking his chin in amusement. |

Emi was trying to hold out, but the grid was starting to slip from her fingers. Hex realized this and tried to help, but only managed to delay the inevitable. They might have held out for a bit longer, but Emi was so focused on holding the grid that she lost strength on her legs, which were the only thing keeping her on the vents, she didn't even notice that she had began to slip herself, and as a result she fell down, taking the grid and Hex with her. "OWW! DX", Emi yelled as they landed right smack in the middle of the cultist group, "That hurt! :'(", then she realized her current situation, "Erm... Hi! :3" Of course her calm and short greeting was completely ignored, such a bunch of rude people, and the one that seemed to be the leader, or at least someone of high influence, mentioned something about turning them into sacrifices. This was really infuriating, it seemed as all they thought about was the same, monsters, they really were monsters all of them. Who would think of doing something like that? Emi was tired of this crap. She got up, picking up Hex, looked Augus straight in the eye and screamed. "NO ONE IS GOING TO EAT KITTY!!! D:<", then proceeded to thrown Hex back into the vents, whom she promptly followed after, before putting her head back out, "Oh and me. No one is eating me either! ):<" Emi moved to the next grid, which let out on the next room, got back out of the vent, cause being inside vent when they could have some gas or fire mage is not fun, and made her way to the door. At this point, Emi got out from the room at about the same time as some of the cultists from before. "Catch me if you can! ;P", she taunted before she hauled ass in the opposite direction. The cult erupted into shouts and demands. Taking advantage of the sudden chaos, Syeena slipped closer as the cat and girl tried to sneak into the other rooms via the vents. However, they would not get far as the other vents led to other parts of the headquarters. The guards and cultists quickly erupted into a frenzy and went to search the other rooms since none of them could fit into the vents. "Throw a bomb in their and smoke them out!" someone shouted. All the while, Syeena saw which general direction they were heading and quickly went for that room. Meanwhile, Hex and Emi were trying to crawl to another room but Hex was resistant. "Why did we run?! We could of taken them!" the cat fussed as Emi dragged her down the air duct to the next room. As they entered the cooridor, the saw some guards come their way attemting to catch them. "Get her!!" one of the cultists said-- ZING!! Before something shot into him. A throwing card. The man fell down, revealing Syeena behind her with her hood up. Syeena removed her hood to look at the cat and fox girl. "Wow, you guys suck at stealth," Syeena joked as she greeted them with a smirk. |

Emi was starting to get some speed when a guard showed up in front of her. But before she was able to do anything, he fell to the ground. Confused, Emi noticed someone behind him, whom Emi identified almost immediately as being a woman, cause you know... guys just can't look as good in a skirt. The woman soon removed the hood allowing Emi to see her face. Emi recognized the face almost instantaneously... or not. She felt the face was familiar but she couldn't quite put her finger on where she had met the woman before. Regardless, that woman appeared to be on her side, as she had just taken out one guard to help... no, seriously, where did Emi see that woman before? Emi was sure that she had met this woman before somewhere, but GOD remembering it was just not going to happen anytime soon. "I never liked to sneak around anyway.", Emi replied to the woman's comment, "I rather take a more direct approach." Seeing has she had backup, Emi decided that it was about time she started to distribute some ass whooping. So, she turned on her pursuers, running towards them for a few moments before pouncing on them. As she did, Emi was engulfed in blue flames and when they dissipated, she was taller than her original form would give to believe, and had her face covered by a menacing mask. The cultists that were chasing were caught off guard and froze with the surprise, allowing Emi to do a drop kick on the first cultist with ease. They had the advantage of numbers but considering the fight was on a corridor, there was only so much of that advantage they could use. Edited by LibertyGear, Mar 25 2015, 12:32 PM.

Hex mewed in surprise and jumped off Emi as she was fighting. "Syeena!" Hex said happily as the cat ran up to her and hopped up onto her shoulders. Syeena welcomed it as the cat brushed against her cheek, happy to see her oppose to Emi. While Emi was sweet, she had the personality of a child who would easily smother the cat. After Emi's attack with the incoming cultists, they had a small break to get their thoughts organized. "Why did you do this? Did you even have a plan to get in and out?" she said. THough Emi being there was not part of the plan, things were going way too fast and it wouldn't be long till they were found out... "HEY!!" a familiar voice spoke! Syeena rolled her eyes as she turned around and saw who it was. Alastor-- the guy who had harassed her and Agil at the bar to join the cult. "That cat! She was wtih you at the bar--- Son of a bitch your with her!" he said at Syeena. Hex sighed and shrugged her shoulders at Syeena. "Oh well. Cat's out of the bag as they say," Hex said with a tongue sticking out at Alastor. Syeena also knew the jig was up. They were found out, so it was now time to cause chaos from the inside out. The man suddenly charged past one of Syeena's cards and ran for her. He drew a dagger, intending to stab her. "DAMN YOU!!" he shouted. At that moment, Hex jumped up into the air with her wings spreading, flying overhead and in that moment-- Syeena vanished before him. The man blinked, not knowing where his target went. Till suddenly, movement was behind him. Syeena had teleported to the card that he had passed, and then threw a few throwing cards right into his back. The guy let out a groan of pain before falling over, clearly knocked out and damaged badly. "That's for Agil's bar," Syeena said, looking down at the cocky bastard. But more cultists now came from the other end of the hallway. They would have to run! |

Emi was finally having fun! Punching cultists left and right was so satisfying... well punching in general is pretty fun for Emi anyway. Although to be honest this guys were rather weak, and as much fun as it is to punch people, it gets kinda boring if they don't fight back. That said, and as if knowing what Emi was thinking, more cultists appeared and began running from the end of the corridor. "Finally a challenge! >:)", Emi said, but then she noticed the sheer numbers, "Wait... :|", then she really noticed the absurd numbers, "... Ok! I'm out! X|", she said as she decided to return to the original plan, prior to Syeena showing up. HAULING ASS! Emi turned and began running. "Dunno what you had planned.", Emi said has she approached Syeena and Hex, "BUT I'M TOO YOUNG TO BE EATEN! DX", she shouted as she passed the pair. Doesn't matter how menacing Emi looked with her magical mask, but right now she looked like a scared fox running away from the hounds. She didn't even looked back to see if Syeena and Hex were following her cause, considering the current circumstances, it was a given. And she didn't stop to deal with every single cultist that randomly appeared in her way, she simply threw a punch or a kick and kept going. Someone better come up with a plan fast cause otherwise Emi will most likely run circles around the cultist base and try to win the same way she usually does, by outlasting her opponents. |
