Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Cyrus looked down at the mysterious trap door which almost certainly led to a trap and to danger. The knight adjusted his glasses with his one good hand, things had certainly taken a turn for the strange- what had started as a simple mission now had transformed into a full on Inquisition matter, the stench of corruption and darkness wafted through the air- it actually smelled like sulfur really. It was a familar scent to the knight, one that had the unfortunate blessing of being cursed with, after leaving the pits of hell he certainly knew a demon or the scent of its magic easily.

Rhevas jumped in first, probably a wise move considering how Cyrus was rather impaired- his main sword had been left back home. Still, he managed to leap down into the dark tunnel fairly easily. The scent of black magic intensified greatly as he stood there in the dimly lit corridors with Rhevas. The tunnel was dead silent, the only thing the two of them could hear were their own breaths and footsteps. Cyrus looked around, but saw no signs of the cultists at the moment- yet this was no reason for him to let down his guard, he had been fooled one too many times by such tactics.

Furhter along the cavern path, one could see a pale green light pulsating creepily. Undoubtedly, this was there they needed to go. Cyrus would walk towards the light, seeing as how there really was no other option unless Rhevas had some sort of way to stealth them. As the two got closer to the green pulsating aura, the light would intensify and the words of a dark chant could be heard. From what Cyrus could gather, the cultists seemed to be casting some sort of spell. 'A well of souls' the terminology as well as the kidnappings carried out by the cultists must have implied they were the ones helping the Turks, using the disguise of meager vandalism as a front for an even greater crime.

The two men would find themselves at the entrance to a large chamber, one not lit with natural light by infernal magics. A large pool dominated the center of the chamber, a green whirlpool which gave off corrupt and demonic magic- its waters glowed and pulsated as the cultists chanted. Cyrus frowned, his black sunglasses reflecting the green light like a mirror- it was this which caused the lead cultist to take notice of the two men who had somehow managed to defeat two of his best.

"I will admit, I am surprised- taking down twenty men and two professional summoners is no easy feat" he said, with a mild look of amusement. He spoke to the two while the remaining cultists, 5 of them, continued the strange ritual- the green vortex in the pool continued to spin faster and faster as time went on. "The Turks were simply a means to an end, one which you two shall soon join" he said, the amused look falling from his face. The older man looked from Cyrus and Rhevas down to the green Vortex, "You should have stayed out of this, now YOU TOO SHALL KNOW ETERNAL OBLIVION"

Cyrus smirked, the guy liked listening to himself talk a lot now didn't he?

"Chernabog espec an Thunir!

Cyrus's eyes turned from a mixture of amused contempt into one of realization and acknowledgement, these cultists weren't just regular schmucks- they were summoners, and if the basilisk was any indication, they were deadly ones to boot. The knight now saw what the group's plan was all along, the only reason they could have been kidnapping people and absorbing their essences was to- "You sick son of a bitch" Cyrus said as he realized just what this whole incantation and 'Well of Souls' buisness was about.

A well was a place to store water, as well as a pool from which to retrieve it.

The old man smiled, the youngin' had finally figured out the cultist's aim. The group's numbers were dwindling thanks to the Inquisition, they were growing desperate. They needed infernal help to achieve their goals- of course such things required sacrafice. An exact toll to be precise: 100 human souls. Thanks to the turks and the cultis's previous exploits before they moved to Oshibana, they had finally reached that number. Their price was about to be paid, their dreams would be realized. The ace was about to be revealed.

From the green vortex, an inhuman roar pierced through the corruption thick chamber. From its center rose a black hulking figure- an utterly massive thing. The creature was so large that it could only emerge from the pool up to its waist before it hit the ceiling to the cavern. The black monstrous arch-demon grinned wildly at the group before looking up at the ceiling which prevented it from rising any further. With a clawed hand, it smashed its fist into the cavern ceiling, causing it to smash straight through solid rock and pierce to the surface. The monster laughed as it continued to rise.

The ground would begin to shake all around the group. The ground seemed to rise up with the giant arch-demon upwards, as if they were standing on top of a mountain that was rising out of the ground. Sure enough, the cavern had risen up to surface level and now continued to rise, transforming from an overt underground lair into a massive black mountain which continued to rise up- destroying the warehouse and the buildings nearby as it did. The old man chuckled, "Sorry boys, I'm afraid you're too late on this one" the man said, nodding towards the two men. The demon, known as Chernabog, roared once again- causing the sky to darken and for the winds to violently pick up as if the group were stuck in the middle of a lightning storm.

The arch-demon laughed at the humans below him, they were all so petty.

The two men had failed to stop the summoning- now they had to do the impossible: send a devil back to the hell from whence it came.

^________^
The sudden appearance of a demon summoned by the cultists just as they arrived posed a great threat. Rhevas could feel the demons he had linked with, all seemingly disturbed by the presence of this Chernabog or something. Though he may have to argue that the cultist was rather hard with the language, making it sound more like a curse than something poetic. Yes, to him, the demon language was rather poetic and such a blasphemous way of saying it was a disgrace.

But that was a concern he’ll have to busy himself with later, preferably when he is beating the man black and blue. For now, the roaring of the sudden appearance of the demon was more concerting. And to make matters worse, the earth rose until they were through the ground, the cavern, the warehouse and now up like a mountain. Quite the view, really.

“Shadap youz!” Rhevas said to the cackling cultist who was pretty much relishing the moment. He didn’t know much about Fiorean swearing, but he was always interested. That aside, it was time to fight this demon, and perhaps, because of that, he may have to rely on Cyrus to take care of the cultist. So he told the blond, “Demon haz no permanent link to world. Not lest dez be half. Iz power source iz summoner. Get to him, ayer get demon. Ayt?” He patted the other in the shoulder as they would commence.

At that point, Rhevas gathered his magic before unleashing it. It made a large crest of his demon magic on the ground while the a light from the heaven’s made it’s mark. The clouds whirled as a large winged demon appeared, Ultima of humanoid form and bladed limbs. Four circles then appeared before the four blades of his limbs and began to spin, sending four fire pillars of tornado shooting down to the ground, as near as possible to the summoned demon. Though it was not a direct assault, the pull of the tornadoes would prove problematic and hopefully, the demon Chernabog would see it as a delightful bait.

“Kadto na di!” (Come and get it!) yelled Rhevas as he uncoiled the fiery whipblade and readied his cromarian sword, ready to fight.

Chernabog cackled, his voice rippling throughout the city as the black mountain of obsidian he had raised up towered above all those beneath him. The dark creature's grin was made even more eerie by just how pristenely white his fanged teeth were. He leaned over and stared at Rhevas as he approached the archdemon, attempting to try and actually fight the thing head on. The monstrous entity simply stood still, the mage's attacks colliding with its black skin, if the monster knew Fiorian or any language of man, he surely would have made some witty remark about how the attacks were abrely registered by him. Still, even now the creature had plans in store, he raised his hands high up to the heavens. The creature grinned madly as he looked at the scurrying ants below him. Soon, they would all know the might of the infernal lord.

He was channeling a spell to annihilate this entire city in one blow.

As he channeled his spell, a faint light could be seen forming in the black sky above him, swirling and growing larger and larger as Chernabog channeled his magic into it. As the entity continued to prepare some sort of massive spell, a number of lesser demons appeared- summoned by their master. They looked like fallen angels of sorts, mutated and black in complection like their master. There was 50 of them in total, all rushing towards Rhevas the second they were formed- what would the dark mage do now?

Meanwhile, Cyrus was busy ascending the nearby stairs to where the cultists had retreated to. On a moderately sized ledge of the black mountain high above the city, he saw them staring down at the carnage below. The blond grit his teeth as he saw the small cluster of remaining men casually talking and pointing down to the chaos that he ensued on the streets below them. They had truely succeeded in their task, they had managed to summon a demon of immesurable power through the guise of a few kidnappings and mild crimes- truly they were criminal masterminds. Thus, as Cyrus stepped up the black stone steps to where they were grouped, they would find not a single inch of trepidation in his eyes- the only thing they would see would be his black and soulless sunglasses.

It was the only thing anyone ever saw when they tried to see the man behind the eyewear.

The old man who had led this crusade regarded the blond as he walked up to the group of 5 summoners. His tone somewhat jovial, "I must admit, you have a commitment to your duty which surely is rare in this day and age" he said, causing a few of the other cultists to chuckle. The knight remained silent as he stared at the shambled line of cultists who now turned their attention to him. "It is so easy to just turn to the darkness, look at your friend after all- he thrives in it, yet you resist the natural chaos and disruption of life, surely you must understand how-

"I will kill you last" the blond said, interrupting the older man and causing him to reel back slightly.

"Excuse me?" he said, thinking that he may have heard wrong. "...I said, I will kill you last" the man said, his voice as cold as glacier's ice.

The cultsits laughed, although their leader looked unamused as he stared at the persistent knight who refused to be beaten down. "We have summoned Chernabog, one of the 6 archdemons of the Infernal Realm- he is preparing to summon an infenral meteor so powerful that this entire city shall be destroyed" the man said, staring dangeroulsy at the blond's covered eyes. Cyrus answered simply, "So?" he asked, the group continued to laugh save for their leader who was growing irritated with the knight. "So, it's over- we have won. This city shall be destroyed and then this putrid world will be as well" he yelled over the thunderstorm that Chernabog had passively created.

Cyrus gave a small grin, "Am I still breathing?" he asked the leading cultist who fell into the man's ploy.

"Well... yes"

"Then it's not over" and with that, the knight charged at the group. Yanking his broken arm out of his sling and crashing into the closest cultist. Kicking him square in the chest and throwing him off the side of the mountain.

The pain would be temporary, in time it too would pass.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

God dammit, how am I expected to work under these conditions?

As young Cyrus charged valiantly at the group of people, Rhevas tripped on a log and unfortunately passed out in the gutter after hitting his head in that perfect spot that you see in the movies or the cartoons or the video lachrima's that puts them out cold with no chance of coming to until whatever was presently going on... well... wasn't going on any more.

This meant that Cyrus was on his own from this point onward and that would in turn have meant that the entire city would be destroyed by the demon and the rapidly nearing completion spell that had brought a minor apocalypse to loom over the city. Or at least, he would have if not for the fact that back on page 1, Cyrus had passed an innocuous street urchin and without thinking, had deliberately avoided treading on the street urchin's foot. (Unbeknownst to Cyrus who had been busy with other things at the time).

But this wasn't just any street urchin, but rather a fairy god street urchin, protector of the kind and defender of the civic minded. Now, in Cyrus's time of dire need, the fairy street urchin repaid the debt Cyrus didn't even know he was owed and cast a magic spell upon the knight that temporarily healed all of his wounds, repaired all of his equipment and raised his total stats to 6666 to be divided as he saw fit. he was also given wings made of dist and these wings would automatically lift him up into the sky and send him to face the true enemy here.

For the true enemy was not the men that had summoned Caldafag, but rather Caldafag himself and only with the power of the fairy street urchin could Cyrus hope to overcome his devilish power and restore peace and order to the pride lands so that all of Atlantis could once again live in peace and harmony as they sought out the road to el dorado and the cave of wonders.

If this is too end in a drug overdose then we're going to fill the grand canyon with lsd...

Cyrus could feel the overwhelming power surging within him, fire lit through his body as he could feel energy rippling throughout his body. One of the cultists seemed to acknowledge the massive amounts of power which were now flowing through the knight, "Quick, what's his power level?" one of them asked, causing another to quickly reply, "Its not over 9000 but its rising!" one of them said. The blond could feel the power surging within him just like he had chugged twelve cans of red bull in quick succession. The magic of the fairy urchin had begun to change his personality drastically as he floated upwards, "Haha, scrubs, where is your god now?" he said.

The knight under normal circumstances would never have acted like this, yet somehow the power of the magic urchin had started to give him a much more cocky and almost evil disposition. Caldafag roared in anger at how the scrublord had just joined Faze Clan in only a few seconds. Its magical spell was charging up with massive infernal power. Cyrus used his magical 1980's sparkley wings to zoom up towards the black demon and giga slap him across the face with such vigour and strength that one could hear the thunderous hit from miles onwards. The powerful blow would be strong enough to break the spell, although it remained to be seen if it could kill Caldafag in his entirety.

"Surprise mothafucka" Cyrus yelled in defiance.

With his spell cancelled and his shit slapped right out of him, Caldafag was sent soaring through the sky and collided with the city below in an enormous explosion of debris (I don't know how big he is, but I get the idea that he's big. Like, 'this city should have its description rewritten after this, but it won't' big). But whilst the swirling mass of evil energies above ceased to build, they instead began to stream downward in thick tendrils of evil evilness much like Jafar's genie transformation in that one Disney movie that's better than all of the others and much like in that movie, this was the prelude to the boss reaching his final (probably) form.

From out of the ruins and the ruins and the debris and the loud screams from the dead and dying, Caldafag emerged in a far smaller, far sleeker and therefore far more powerful form (because video games and anime tells us this is so) and soared skyward on wings as black as night with eyes glowing like red coals pulled straight from the fiery depths of hell themselves and now it was Caldafag's turn to do the btichslapping as he caught up to Cyrus's lofty altitude and dealt the boy a blow that could shatter mountains part oceans.

"You're a thousand years too early to challenge me, even with the aid of your fairy street urchin", Caldafag roared in words that traveled for miles and were heard by every ear in the Southern Fiore. Though the words 'fairy street urchin' had something of a dampening effect on the shock and awe of those spectating this rather improbable slapfest. Cyrus held the power to fight Caldafag on equal terms, but he was going to have to pull out his trump card- his siganture move- his coup de grace, his super ultimate finishing combo if he wanted to see the dawn of a new day. That finishing move, granted to him along with the power of the street urchins was named 'Freaky-deaky-lemon-lazer'.

All he had to do was call out the name of the attack to activate it and when he did he would be victorious (probably).

Cyrus watched the human version of Caldafag emerge from the smoke. The knight laughed at how the giant and imposing creature had changed its form into that of a far smaller and human looking form. This was the demon lord the cultists had been secretly manipulating the youth of the city into summoning? The knight scoffed, this mission had spiraled out of control far too quickly- who knew that when they had started off investigating the vandalism around town that it would be rooted into something far deeper and more sinister. Oh well, that was all too late now, all that mattered was that the knight wanted to crush this thing before it could do any more harm to the people or the city. Caldafar called up and taunted the knight, to which the man laughed and replied, "Oh? I haven't even shown you my true power thought" he said, the cocky and goku'ish power coursing through his veins and mind as he hovered over the ground and looked down at Caldafag who clearly wanted the ultimate smackdown: Cyrus's freaky-deaky-lemon-lazer. The knight raised his hands above his head and began channeling his energy into it, causing a bright light to appear inbetween them, at the apex of which the knight spoke his incancation which had rekt many a scrublord before:

"GG EASY"

At saying this the knight unleashed his Vel'Koz lemon lazer at Caldafag which accomplished both in obliterating that which it touched and covering all with its salty and thick lemony goodness, the energy was massive- and fuck it the knight just wanted to kill this guy and go home already.
