The last rays of light shown down upon the streets of Belladona. Many had gone home for the night, tired after a days hard work, while others were only emerging now, working the night shift or just simply looking to have a good time. Traversing the street was such a man. Pompadour on full display, he held a smug look on his face. Strapped on his back was a large box of some sort, wrapped up in a cloth to prevent anyone from guessing what the box even looked like. Not that it particularly mattered as anyone who asked, he'd more than likely tell. Though there were those he was more than likely to tell. He kept his eyes out for any and all attractive women that may be strutting about the city. When one caught his eye, he'd make his move, giving the full on D-A-N-D-Y approach. Despite it never working, he figured it was better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all. That was the mans way of doing things and if there was one thing he was sure of, -and he was never sure of much- it was that Daidara was a real mans man. As he walked, a breeze flew through the town, a breeze that brought with it a single sheet of paper. This piece of paper had been thrown with the intent of going inside of a bin. Alas, its trajectory was altered by the wind and it now soared. It soared and danced within the breeze until it smacked right into the face of the magician. Grabbing it, the originally smug face was now one of wrath and rage. Giving the piece of paper the stink eye, he glanced at the contents. He couldn't really tell what it said now that he crumpled but he got the gist of it. Taking one long intake of air, he threw the paper to the ground rushing forward. Along the ground, the heading could be read, "Buy one get one free! Big pub opening!" Free drinks were the best. |

The sun goes down and the stars come out and running over the mineral city of Belladonna, well early morning, as Iris had stayed had been working all day doing her research for a case for a client. Her head throbbed and her mouth was dry. The bright city lights turned on and burned her eyes intently, like she hadn't seen the light in a while. her legs sore and the stomach needing fuel for the engine. The mind is in state of I'll take what what I can get, and getting to the close to the point of I'll take anything from a dumpster. Iris had been running off coffee and takeout for the last 4 days. Being secluded to a room to literally just to learn about the target is something that was rare where it comes to investigations, all the info had been already been there from a previous guild member. The guy was opening a new bar here and she was told to go check it out and report anything suspicious. Iris had no time to properly prepare for the night, so she wasn't looking the best. The bar was called The Drinkers Fates, and it's owner had ties to weird drugs that were sold that were sold through forms of liquid and food. Recent info had said he's gone clean, but that something that doesn't seem trust worthy. And so that is why she's here. The bar it's self seemed pretty fancy, carved out of pure white marble and an very Greek feel to it, like a grand temple devoted to Zeus himself. There was poster that stated that it buy one get one free drinks for the knight, so that would surely bring in a crowd large crowd. Iris enters and the music blasts into her ears by surprise, the strobe lights flashing and blinding her sensitive eyes. it looked like it was the underworld, compared to the outside with rocky out crops and dungeon like feels around. The crowds were at a mass, people dancing and partying all over the place, it was a great turn out for a start of an evening. The doors close behind her and she looks back. It was too dark to see anything, so she just though it was all animated. Pushing past the crowds and to the bar, she takes a spare stool by the bar and orders a drink, she didn't care what, as long as she can quench her thirst. Being only 16, tonight might be the first taste alcohol in her life... And she didn't care. |

The music was blaring inside of the club, lights flashing and the bodies of the patrons were dancing. Daidara wasn't let down by what he saw. A wide grin fell over his face as his head nodded with the beat of the music. This was his kind of party, not that you could call it that without him being there. "This a temple to the god or something? Well feel free to worship me on the dance floor, baby!" he cried, unlatching the box on his back, the object falling with a heavy thump. For the moment, Daidara only received some cursorary glances by the other people on the dance floor, mainly due to his odd, in-your-face hairstyle he sported. Now though, it was time to bust some serious moves. He got to it, barging and barrelling through everyone and anyone he could. He got a lot of angry yells and whoops as he moved around. Daidara had earned himself laughter and applause for being so enthusiastic about his dance moves, not that he really knew what he had been doing. After he had worked up a sweat, Daidara made his way to the bar, ignoring those who suggested for him to continue on his with ridiculous dance. There, he saw one hell of a girl there. She was beautifuyl in every way imaginable. Running his fingers though the sides of his har, he put on his winning smile. Sliding up to her, he tried looking dark an dmysterious. "Hey baby, how would you like to dance with a dandy guy?" as he spoke, his eyes llooked up at the roof, trying to act as if he wasn't all that interested in her. Alas, she didn't notice him at all and had left before he finished his sentence. A disheartened look fell over him, one which disappeared as he recalled as to why he was here in the first place. "Hey, give me a cold one and that free deal!" he ordered excitedly to the less than pleased bar keep who nodded in response. Looking beside him was a short, purple haired kid. He couldn't tell all that much about her other than that, so he simply shrugged it off. No wait, why was there a kid here? It was a night club. This was a place for dandy men to hit on gorgeous girls. "Oi kid, you looking for your mommy somewhere? You want some milk?" without listening for a reply, he looked back to the bartender. "Drop that second beer for a glass of milk," he nodded. "You should be careful, night time is adult time, baby." |

The beer was nice and cold to her lips, it was bitter, but then this was her first time tasting it, so it was expected. Iris liked it and still drunk out of the pitcher. Her thirst was quenched after finishing after one half of it and the music turned to white noise behind here. "Keep, bring me wings. I need meat!" She calls over, and the keep just nodded and took her order. In a dimly lit place like this, Iris looked like she belonged here, as long no one asks for ID. A little while later, the keep come back with her wings and he passes him the jewels. After a few wings and finishing her first pitcher, a manly voice behind her. Was he trying to pick her up? If so, she just sat there to ignore him. He ordered a beer and proceeded to get the free one, in which she assumed it was for her. Then the unexpected happened, the words "Oi kid, you looking for your mommy somewhere? You want some milk?" were sent straight to her ears. What disrespect towards her, it was stuff like this that made her has such a dislike against men. This was then followed by "Drop that second beer for a glass of milk. You should be careful, night time is adult time, baby." That was the line, Iris spin on her seat, grabbing her second pitcher. As much as she was angry, it was probably best to let it slide for now. "Listen, mister, I am here to have a drink and relax after working hard at a desk all day. I maybe young, but I am mature enough to at least enjoy myself. So back off." She chugs the beer down and slams the glass on the bar. Next she feels a slight up set feeling in her gut, and she shoots up and runs to the ladies room. Slamming the door open to the pristine white room and to a empty toilet stall, leaning in and puking into the bowl. What was this horribleness? She coughs up the alcohol that she couldn't stomach and flushes the toilet. "Take it slow next time Iris, or you'll end up sick again." She heads to the sink to wash off her face and hands before heading out the door and into the raving crowds. |

Daidara was shocked at what he had just witnessed. He knew that kids these days were getting more mature, but mature enough to be working hard hours at the desk was insane! The little girl had even been drinking beer. Shaking his head the pompadour wearing man let out a sigh, a sigh that represented this sad new era that man had just taken part in. What was this world coming to? As he sat down, taking his beer, he sipped at it slowly. Eyeing the plate of wings that the girl had left behind. To take them, or not to take them, now that right there was the question. On one hand, she had payed for them and he had insulted her. On the other hand, he was pretty hungry. Get a grip on yourself man, he thought reprimanding himself for his thoughts. What kind of a man would he be if started stealing the food of a childs plate. A girl like her should be treated better, she should be treated like the young adult she was. Hell, she was more mature than even he was and that was saying a lot, considering how much pure masculinity he had in him. He was handed the second glass of milk. He couldn't see his reflection due to the liquid held within the glass, but he imagined that he could. He figured he would have had a sad expression. Shrugging, he took a long hefty drink. Gulping down the liquid. He let out a refreshed sigh after it. Damn this beer was so good he forgot why he had been sad in the first place. Forgetting completely about the little girl, he was instead reminded of something else, he had left his stuff by the dance floor! Soemtimes, such a handsome figure could be so stupid. Careening off, he tried retracing his steps by dancing in reverse. This reverse shuffle, anti-twerking, arm pulling movement brought him to the middle of the cance floor, unsure of where his bag was. "Ah crap," he muttered. Looking around for the box again, a worried expression on his face. |

The door of the toilet opens as a smiling blonde stumbles in and straight to one of the stalls, taking a seat on the toilet and then falls into the water. her laughing and chatter fill the the room as shes saying something along the lines of seeing "Green Fairies". She then starts to pick apart of the toilet paper, she was clearly drunk and had to be sent home, but where were her friends? Iris looks for the girls phone notices that it has no signal, odd. And so she headed out to the main area to search for a phone. Only new to this day and age of technology, Iris didn't have any of this new tech and such things, due to living a simple life. Heading to the bar, and letting the barkeep him know about the girl in the toilet... Literally. He says he'll send someone to look after her until one her friends decide to pick her up and take her home. Unfortunately he didn't have a phone, but points out that there are some up against the wall across the dance floor and near the door entrance. She thanks him and heads over towards them. Along the way across the dancing crowds, squeezing through the large dancing crowds that were trying to squeeze in onto the dance floor. She walk along and stubs her foot on a looking box on the floor that had been dropped, or at least she had assumed. She bends down to pick it up and heads to the closest table to take a look inside, but all there was was sand, lots of sand. Who the hell carries sand? Probably some form of mage that could manipulate it. Either way, her magic vision wouldn't be able to pick up the owner. So for now it's just taking it and looking for them. but first it was to get to the phones. She arrive to the destination and grabs a receiver, she puts it to her ear and nothing came out, no dial tone or anything. The place was sealed off from the inside tech wise and nothing could be done about it. She had yet see the owner at all either, which is isn't right at all. |

Above the heads of the crowd, a single magnificent pompadour waved in the air, indicating Daidara's exact location. He was hardly one to play the incognito card. Making his way through the crowds though, he began to hop up and down, hoping to catch a better glimpse of the exit and ergo, his box of supplies. Instead all this caused was everyone else to follow suit and begin their own fit of hopping up and down. Finally though, after voiding the ensuing malestorm of bodies, the dandy man reached the doors. Pressing his hands against them he found them to be closed at the current man. "What game is being here, baby?" he asked to no one in particular. He turned around and caught a glimpse of the end of his box being lugged away by someone. Who? He didn't catch a good look at the perpetrator of the box thief. He barrelled his way through the crowds, knocking people over. He got an especially nasty look from one person, her black leather making it really painful to get back up onto her feet. Daidara didn't have time to help this damsel in distress out, or so he thought as he too fell to his knees, his hand extended in a gentle manner. "My princess," he stated, his tone of voice deep as he gently looked up at her. His hand was slapped away and she was helped up by the guy who was presumably her boyfriend. And this guy was freaking huge. Daidara didn't stay around too long, bouncing away from this scene before a chat started between the two. His tail between his legs, he hurried away from the scene. As he did though, he noticed that by the door was the young girl fomr before, along with his box! "Aha!" he cried, grabbing a hold of his item. "My beautiful box, what would have I done if you had gone missing?" he asked. "Actually, why the hell did I go looking for it?! All it does is give me back pains for being so damn heavy. Kid, thanks for looking after this piece of junk," he rolled his eyes. "You need some money for that?" he asked, nodding at the phone in her hands. |

"Money will not work, the lines have been disconnected for some reason. I've checked each one and none of them clearly work, the same with those mobile phone thingys." Iris turns on the spot, shifting to the weight of the box. "I sense something afoot he..." Looking up she notices that the "Dandy" guy was there looking stupid compared to his smile. "... Oh, it's you. Here to apologize to me or here to call me a little girl again?" Feeling vindictive, she drops the the metal box on Daidara's foot, "Either way it has to wait, something's not right here and I need to figure out what it is." Iris then leaves the guy in pain and walks away from him, but deep down inside she was proud of what she just did. She had needed to find this guy and fast, he hadn't been seen all night that she could tell, then a again, he could just be in the higher levels or just simply out back. If he was she had to get back there to get to him in the first place. Little did she remember that she had a photo of the guy on her possession, so she could at least go around asking people and staff if they know his current location, if they were hired by him. Patting herself down to track down the photo, but it wasn't on her person. "Oh no... Ok Iris, just relax and retrace your steps. Surely you should have dropped it at the bar of on the dance floor... Or the bathroom... Right, these are the likely places, relax and continue on your business." Her first stop was the bathroom, she figured that it was best to check on the woman as well, if she was still there. There was a line of 3 girls outside the door, each looking pale and sickly, much like the one from before. She pushes pass them and they just let her through, since they were all somewhat fixed on the lighting in the room, and each one was moaning like mindless zombies. Inside really wasn't any better, not only the girl that was still there earlier was in the same spot and gone through the toilet paper that she was unraveling, which laid on the floor, but she just kept spinning the cardboard cylinder on the holder. There were three other girls in here, a couple glaring in the mirror, mumbling to themselves and one other playing with electric hand blower. This wasn't right, something eerie was happening and she didn't like it. Iris started to rummage the floor for the missing photo and nothing was to be found.
